The onion rings were lukewarm to cold, but the burger was actually quite good, the service was very good and attentive, I recommend this restaurant.

Absolutely love this place. Every time I’m in town, I love to stop by here. Every time I’ve been, the workers have been friendly and seem like they genuinely enjoy their jobs. I’ve never had a bad burger here and I’m a big pickle fan so the pickle bar is a total plus. The way they plate their burgers is great and it makes the food look very appetizing (and it tastes just as good!!!). They were playing some major bops on whatever speaker system they had and once I was with my dad and they said whoever brought their dad’s wallet to the counter first got a free float and they stuck to their word. It was a very fun and engaging visit and me and my dad still joke about it to this day.

Staying in Dallas for a day while on vacation. Wanted to try somewhere that was featured on Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives and decided on this place. It did not disappoint. I had the Freshmen 15 amd some fries with a soft drink. The food was amazing (don't forget to try all of the pickles at the pickle bar) amd the atmosphere feels like a place that you want to hang out at. Not sure about the normal parking situation, but the road in front of the restaurant is under construction, so you have to park two lots down in a pay to park place. Maybe this is normal, I do not know for sure. Anyway, don't let that stop you from eating here as the food is worth it.

Yoooo... this place is sooooo epic. This is a must try. The manager Greg made sure we were taken care of. It's options for carnivore to vegans. I was fat full after half a meal lol. So it doesn't take much but it's so many options on the menu. Also this place was featured on diners, drive-ins and dives (the food network). It's a must try if your in deep ellum or the downtown dallas area. So come hungry and you'll thank me later...

Finally got to hit this location. By far hands down the best food of any TRB location I have visited so far. 😋 Tootsies Hot Chicken was perfect. The chicken poppers where spot on with the Honey Chipotle sauce paired with blue cheese crumbles. Had to get a Twisted Mule as well! I will go out of my way anytime I'm downtown to swing by here from now on. Keep up the good work guys!!

Perfect burger. I got the classic with grilled onions and fries. I loved the burger but the fries and ranch were real standouts. The fries were fresh and seasoned to perfection, the ranch had a distinct pepper flavor that helps separate it’s flavor from a lot of other ranches I tried. Gotta say. If you are a burger fan and want a delicious meal, this is the place to go.

Food was great - had a mule too - we enjoyed a burger and a salad and split the Reese’s shake. Fun atmosphere and food had solid portions and very tasty. However we were with a large group and sat outside - tables were filthy - we even asked if they could be wiped down prior (food but and sticky shake drips etc) Nobody showed so we did it ourselves. Two long picnic tables for a party of 25 - but again service was great and no complaints in food. Glad we went early as it started to feel like it would get pretty rowdy later in the evening.

Twisted Root Burger Co. nails the “classic burger joint” vibe and the flavors to match. The Turducken—beef patty + fried chicken + fried egg steals the show, but the crisp hand-punched fries with house chipotle ketchup and a smooothe vanilla shake hit just as hard. Even the standard All-American bacon cheeseburger is dialed-in perfection. Parking’s tight during construction, but it’s worth the small hassle for a knockout lunch.

I was impressed by this burger place in Dallas! I liked the theme and the whole casual atmosphere of the restaurant. You get to customize everything about your burger and it's cooked to order (my preference). It was a small wait which is expected and they call out names for orders as popular movie characters (my order name was Lt Dan from Forest Gump silly). If you go with a group, it inspires some jokes and conversations. Plenty of seating is offered, even rooftop seating indoor and outdoor. I also had a strawberry shake which was really good, but I paid that tax later on in private..😆 I will definitely return when in the area.

They have pickles! Order at the counter and seat yourself. They have a good variety of burgers and shakes. Employees working the cash register and bar are amazing. Kinda loud atmosphere but fun place to hang before a concert. Big tex was good but needed more guacamole.

This place has a really cool hipster feel too it. With it awesome decore it has a great atmosphere. Even the Chuck Norris bathroom is a great 'kick'! I will start with the only 2 things that were not great with this meal. 1 being the steak fries: Don't get me wrong they are decent I'm just not a fan of fries like this. They may have been French cut but they were still to soggy inside for my liking if that makes sense. The other item was the onion rings, which I'm not sure are served as an appetizer or not, but I had some served on top of my burger and the portion size was big enough to be a whole order, but they could have used some more batter and a little more time in the fryer. But still; not too bad. The total game changer was 'The Millionaire' burger. This may have been the best burger I've ever had. So juicy and flavorful. I definitely recommend trying this.

Everything was really good except the patties. They were overcooked. The patties were dry and hard. The toppings and fries were really good however. Too bad the patties were overcooked.

We love the food here, however we just ordered food to go. Can yall please follow the damnn order request....pay attention! Putting things on the burgers that wasnt requested. Food was good. Service was terrible. Food was missing from our order that the server told us was missing when we got the food. Said it would be right out. 10 minutes later I asked about it and was told it would be ready in 5 minutes. 10 minutes later, I got the same response again. We finally said don't worry about it we are leaving and the woman behind the counter just nodded. No I'm sorry about that, no nothing. We were there at around 5 in the evening on a Saturday and half the tables were dirty. No one was bussing the tables. An employee was informed that someone had left their car keys on a table and he just walked over, got the keys, and left. Didn't pick up a single plate, glass or anything else from the table. New customers were having to clean tables off so that they would have somewhere to sit. I would not recommend this place. The food was good but not great enough to make up for the terrible level of service. I'm sure that there are better options in Dallas.

Went for fried pickles and received soggy pickles. They are lightly breaded and if I wanted that I could have went to the store and bought a jar of pickles and ate them out the jar. The pickles had no crunch at all. I highly don’t recommend.
