I’ve been coming here since I was small. Love it. The staff is very friendly. Their menudo is delicious. Food is tasty. Anytime I come into Oak Cliff I stop here . I came with my dad now I come with my kids.
An institution on Jefferson Blvd., the restaurant has a wonderful menu of excellent dishes, listed in both Spanish and English. My friend and I had the #19 taco plates with beef tacos with rice and beans. They were delicious! I have been here many times over the years, usually while working film events at the Texas Theatre. The food has always been excellent and reasonably priced.
This place is great. Good food, amazing service. Definitely would recommend and come back for some delicious Latino food.
Great food and customer service. I love there breakfast menu. Very authentic😁
Great food Great work staff plus nice management that concerned about customers satisfaction
Food is great and the service is always A-1. Damaris was a great waitress and great service. I will be coming back to this place with my family next time
This place never disappoints. Ever. My favorite thing on the menu is the crunchy tacos. They’re simple but delicious! I always find myself eating too much of their rice. Lol The restaurant has a very welcoming and comfortable atmosphere. Service is always awesome. Tried them once and I turned into a repeat customer.
Very wonderful place with so much to offer! Their cheese and salsa is so unique! I had the enchiladas and made it was so good made me full after the second one👍🏾 more woman work here so please feel free to chat with them very lovely people. My fiancé showed me this place last year and forgot all about it during the pandemic, bring your family and friends here. There is no accessibility for handicapped individuals as well
La comida esta muy sabrosa, especialmente la quesadilla de fajita ; aprobada por yo y mi hermosa novia.
Food is exceptional (LOVE the fajita quesadilla), great service, and prices are reasonable.

I had the carne asada torta and it was delicious! So much meat and the bread was perfection. I've been trying to find a good torta in Dallas for 6 years and now this will be my SPOT!!

Soo delicious and amazing prices! I highly recommend coming here :) open late as well!
I grew up eating here and to this day it's one of my favorite places. The only thing I'm mildly upset about is that they charge for chips and salsa now. But outside of that, incredibly nostalgic an…
An Oak Cliff staple!! Affordable meals with nice sized portions and so yummy. My menu favs are the nachos, flautas, gorditas, and bistec ranchero. Great atmosphere and service
i ordered the guiso with rice and beans and a add on beef crispy taco...this is the place to get good food at great prices, never knew this place was here, past by for decades and never noticed it.…
Great Mexican food at a great price. This is a childhood restaurant and it never disappoints. The service is great and ambiance has a retro feel.l which is a plus for me. Every other place is in oa…
The service is very fast/ it is self seating. The chorizo was good and it comes with your side of tortilla. The chips and salsa were also very good.
I just want to leave a review of this place,I've continued to hear about it and been there a couple of times already and man I will continue to be a customer there for the environment is great the …
Yesterday I went to eat at the restaurant, the food was delicious. I was served by a waiter named Alejando, who was excellent. He made me and my family feel special, even though he had several tables. He never neglected us. He was always attentive. I just didn't like the cashier's attitude. I think he was the boss's son, a boy who had a big face.
i got the fajitas gringas or the #11. the chips, queso, salsa, and fajitas were pretty good (great for the price!). The rice and beans were just there, they didn't really taste (disappointing). the horchata was a tad watery as well. the staff was great, the food wasn't overpriced, and the atmosphere is scenic!
The place is pretty big. Lots of seating. Menu was bilingual..lol Prices are pretty reasonable. Didn't like the onions on the outside of my enchilada. You dont get complimentary chips. But you do get salsa. Fyi.. No alcohol is served there. They have caldo, menudo and pozole. Tortillas are store bought..but ok.
Service is great but the cooks can be inconsistent. \nI'm a regular here and I ordered a torta with extra meat they confirm that the extra meat is half of the fillet but this is what they gave me…
Nice, location with a steady flow of customers. Nothing really stood out to me about the food or service. Nice clean restaurant.
Late night dinner- food came out very quick. Server was attentive & nice. The restaurant is a decent size but still felt cramped. Maybe because the tables are so small. Food itself was ok. Guisado de puerco had good flavor and was a good portion. Tacos were bland as were the white corn tortillas they were served in. The catfish fillet was a good size but lacked seasonings. It was ok but not sure we will be coming back.
Food was delicious, big plates and decent prices, the red salsa was amazing that I had to buy extra to take home 😋😋😋 service was good, I'll be coming back to try something else from the menu. Update 11/12/2023 Sunday service it's horrible, I asked for water and never got it, they brought ketchup instead of salsa for my milanesa... sorry but not worth the wait.
This place is beautiful on the inside and the staff is very friendly. When you come in all you have to do is sit anywhere and they will attend you. There was a lot of variety on the menu, many foods you can try and different types as well. The food was good, nothing big though. Overall nice spot but I may not see myself coming back.
Authentic Tex mex. The Chile relleno was very cheesy! Crispy beef taco was good.\n\nThe don't serve alcohol. No chips and salsa served before the meal either.
terrible service. waitress not friendly at all. \nCoffee was cold and old. We ordered chilaquiles and after 10 minutes she came to tell us "there were no eggs". No apology. Nothing. We cancelled …

The food used to be good here now it’s just gross. It’s not real Mexican it’s text mex and they give you canned nopales not fresh, canned refried beans. The Barbacoa is not barbacoa it’s stewed meat. They charge you for refills without informing you. They charge you for chips and salsa on the table. I left there and will not be back also, the young Hispanic guys at the front are so rude.
Love this place and been going for over 15 years and never have I had a bad waiter or waitress but “America” was an absolute rude, dry, and negative non-tentative person she served all the tables around us all their chips and salsa along with drinks and she did not give us any at all. I have a big issue with going somewhere for service and having the worse experience. So aggravating.
So, I called in an order to pick up food for dinner. I was told over the phone by someone who barely speaks English that my order would be ready in 20 minutes. I asked how much was my order and he told me 34.00. I get there after the 20 minutes that he told me and my food still wasn’t ready. I proceed to pay for it and was told the food was 43.00. I asked why was the food 43, when the person who took my order said 34? The ball headed man at register says sorry, computer was down when I asked can the price of 34 be honored since that’s what I was originally told. So, my question is if your computer was down how were you accepting payments? My order wasn’t as I asked, my extra beans were missing, my avocado wasn’t in my bag as well and then they had the nerve to try to charge me for it when I initially asked for it when I called in the order. I asked for crunchy beef tacos and looked at the actual taco shells and they looked like they just threw the shells in the container because they were broken and cracked up. I told the man (maybe a manager) that I did not want those broke shells. He took the plate and brought it back with the new shells looking worse than the first set I was given which I think they did that on purpose. And let me not forget the other time I called in my food order and the woman answering the phone had a WHOLE attitude! I asked her do you have an attitude??? Then her total attitude and demeanor changed….The purpose of this post is to say as a paying customer at any business there are things that are expected when you pay your hard earned dollars. And the top thing that you expect is good quality customer service. One more thing…the Mexican cokes have shrunk in size but the price remains the same or higher. So, they give you less product but still charge you the same price or more.
