My friends and I got a great time here. Music and drinks were really good. The view from upstairs is beautiful, nice place.

This place is absolutely amazing! Van is the absolute best bartender! You must try this place! Highly reccomend! My group and I were there for my bachelorette party! Van is 10++ for customer service. He goes above and beyond! Best place for dancing! Drinks! Everything! We weren't going to stay long but stayed a little over 3 hours!

In sum: THE best club in the DFW area. Period. As far as Nightlife goes, if you want a party, great music, some of the best DJs (not just locally but around the globe), and a safe environment to enjoy the evening then come early and stay late at Green Light Social. Coming from living in LA for years, this is the only comparable establishment to the nightlife scene you’re going to want to experience. The staff: as friendly as they come. From security to bartenders and bar backs, you’re not going to find a more hospitable environment than this. The reason it’s safe, is because the expectation of handling yourself accordingly (yes, even when intoxicated) is important here. Being a new and reputable club, they have to be cautious when so many people already show up drunk and late in the night. The entire staff is attentive to this while ensuring a fun environment for all and that everyone gets home safe. Don’t be surprised if you walk away with some new friends The entertainment: Second to none in the DFW region. With Jace as the host of the party and brand name DJs playing any given Thursday to Sunday night, you will not regret having your next outing at Green Light. If you get the opportunity to enjoy the experience in Ruby’s Room, please do. The members and staff will greet you accordingly. From craft cocktails and bottle service to great food, I’d be impressed if you managed to not have a great time here. Some great bartenders like Nick, Destiny, Morgan, Sam, & plenty more are undoubtedly gonna take great care of you here! The bottle girls are great! S/O Gioné, Taylor, Lillian, & all of the gals! Security is the best in the business, from front door to backstage, you’re safe here for sure. Take the time and have some fun at GLS whenever you can, trust me, you won’t regret it.

Great club for live music and parties right in the heart of town.. Get close up to the stage or upstairs on the balcony. Bars on both floors and outdoor spaces as well.

Great spot for a casual vibe! I’m a bit old school but used to work the industry so I felt the need to specify. Super clean place and the staff was absolutely legit, specifically a guy named Deuce. He was hilarious and made out group feel welcome (savvy dude🤙). I love when places like this have solid industry folks around. It’s good to know when people still know how to treat people. Went for an event some friends of mine hosted. Awesome vibe, music and hospitality, but a ding was that they wouldn’t let a friend of mine in because “he has face tattoos.” However, that isn’t posted anywhere on-site or online.

Just moved to Texas and I have no friends here yet but I wanted to go out while I had some days off. The bartenders were so sweet. They were really chill and chatted with me and even showed me around the different rooms of the club and gave me suggestions on places I might like in the area. The multiple rooms is nice. You get different vibes depending on the room you're in, and the balcony was beautiful. Definitely will be coming back sometime!

Ended up at this place after dinner. They have 3 different areas. The first room was an arcade-like lounge. I asked for wine, and Brandon was kind enough to walk us upstairs. Upstairs was a more formal lounge. They also had a club down stairs as well. The music in all 3 rooms were different genres, I thoroughly enjoyed the music in all 3. Jay-Z was amazing and so helpful. The customer service here was amazing. Will definitely be back.

Visited Dallas for the weekend and came upon GLS. It was pretty fun! The dance floor was jam packed and it was a little difficult to get a drink, overall a good time. Drinks are a little pricey but also not used to Dallas prices. Definitely will return next time I visit!

I LOVE this place! It’s basically three different venues in one. The front main bar has fun arcade games with TVs playing all the sports games. Then in their big Club room they have amazing DJs playing every weekend it’s great for bottle service. Upstairs is their more formal cocktail lounge with a great rooftop view of all Dallas! The upstairs does require a dress code so come dressed correct and their kitchen is amazing and great priced open till 11 every day! This place is a 10/10 all around!

This place is a very hip, cute rooftop spot with all the feels. We came in for the Family & friends even on 7/25 and it was a vibe. Drinks were on point. Service was outstanding. Views were amazing from the rooftop and love the greenery throughout. We even got a bonus firework show which was so much fun! Restrooms were very clean and that is always important to me. We will definitely be back, especially for a drink on date night.

Basically three bars in one. Sports bar, EDM bar/venue/ and a rooftop bar. On Sundays the rooftop is where to be but it gets very crowded and the lines for drinks can be insanely long

I attended on New Years Eve and it was a lot of fun! The DJ was great and the bar was quick. Lots of room to dance or to sit at a high-top table if you wanted to. We waited in line for over an hour which was expected and not an issue. Only issue was that we were told that the cover would be $60 for guys while we were in line, but they changed it to $80 when we got to the door. If it wasn't NYE we probably would have gone somewhere else, but it wasn't the end of the world.

Came around midnight on Saturday night. Packed inside, line outside still to get in. Hit up the bouncer and got pulled up to VIP immediately - probably helped having beautiful women with us. DJ, music, fog, lasers/lights, people bouncing up and down to the beat - what you'd typically expect. Worth a visit.

Spent the evening at the “Ruby Room”. It’s upstairs. Fantastic view of the Dallas skyline. There is a full bar and plenty of space chill. There is a large outdoor area (on roof) with plenty of seating. Bartenders stay busy but are quick to serve. Parking is valet $20 however there are other parking lots nearby. Good time.

Green Life Social is a pleasant rooftop bar and restaurant with a great selection of drinks. The rooftop area offers a fantastic view of the entire Dallas downtown. Their DJ area is well-designed, and the music, curated by a talented DJ, complements the nice dance floor. However, during our visit, the crowd was disappointingly sparse, which led to some boredom. The outdoor seating was attractive and well decorated. Overall, while it's a decent place, I don't think I'll be returning as it didn't quite match my vibe.

Love the different area among the bar/club . Only seen the downstairs area but both areas was fill with great vibes . Love that both areas downstairs had their own djs . One area was playing like more of hip hop flow than as the other area was playing upbeat music . Looking for a great time come here to enjoy yourself 😘🥰

It's lit for young folks who like to club... The drinks were ridiculous because they don't tell you the price just pretend they can't hear you and surprise you with the receipt once they bring back your bill Idk 2 lemon drop martinis in plastic ear clubs full of ice bc they had no martinis glasses. 3 bottle water and 1 lemon drop shot.... About $67 At least it was free to enter Couldn't pop a bottle bc you need a table (which they said they were out of.... But we helped ourselves to a big sectional on the other side of the club)

I see other reviews have similar complaint as me. I drove from FortWorth to Dallas to see a long time friend play his set. Got there early to get in and get a drink and watch the opening acts but got stopped at the door for not having BELT LOOPS. Not even sure how the guy knew that. I wasn’t wearing sweats or anything just pants without loops. Fortunately my buddy was able to get me in since he was the DJ. Had a great time shoutout to the guy who let me in. Don’t think anyone else noticed I had no loops and my pants stayed on the whole time! Crazy world we live in. It would be nice if it listed this on the site where I downloaded the tickets for the show or I woulda came prepared. If you need a guy to do your website let me know and I can help.

Came here for a birthday to dance. We tried to plan in advance and looked for a dress code and didn’t see anything, so we were bummed when we weren’t allowed on the roof. The place seems cool and the bartenders were friendly and fast, wish the plans had worked out better. Drinks are on the high side for basics so keep that in mind.

Only writing a review because I read someone else had their items stolen from their purse at this place and the same happened to me. I was there 3 weeks ago and my phone and wallet was stolen from my purse. All my identification was in there with all my credit cards and the next day they tried to purchase items from target. Reading from the review below I feel like the same people are going every weekend to steal.

Went for a sunset session on Sunday. The music and vibe was amazing. But the drink prices are incredibly high. In one case it was much higher than the price advertised on the board behind the bartender. I have also heard they charged 3 different prices for the same beer on the same night. So watch out for the extremely expensive drinks and enjoy the atmosphere!

Would be 5 stars, but the bartender didn't think I would notice additional charges on my card. One of the bartenders is Charging additional monies. If I drank alcohol I wouldn't have noticed. Someone please purge this bartender. Shame

The vibes are great but service is overall fairly slow and the drinks are significantly more expensive than other places and the bartenders don’t do a full pour. So it’s fine, if you want to pay $16 per drink that is majority mixer.

But, those waitresses took forever to attend to us while we were trying to order drinks at the club, very annoying. If you don’t have a section you’re standing on your feet all night. Large venue with several concepts under one roof. I prefer smaller venues that decide who they are and focus on being the best at one concept. All that said, can we say OVERPRICED!!! I ordered a Jack Daniel’s on the rocks and a michelobe ultra and the tab was 34.00 with tip! Seriously… that is price gauging! I plan to call about the charge I can’t imagine they seriously charge for a bottle and a case for a 2 oz pour and a bottle of beer. Needless to say I will not go again!

Man, this place is expensive. I mean expensive expensive. $17 for a SHOT ($20 with already added gratuity) is quite literally insane. Went on a Saturday night, ordered 4 shots, saw the bill, paid, and then left immediately. Vibe was nice, but not enough to make up for pricing. Lots of cheaper places in Deep Ellum that are less expensive too.

Don’t get me wrong I’ve always loved green light but Halloween this year there really did it for me. I was there for not even 15min and everything in my purse including my wallet got stolen. I have been trying to call them for the past 3 days only to get a busy tone. I would highly recommend not to come here if u don’t want ur stuff stolen. If you do go don’t bring your purse or wallet.

The little man in a fadora guarding the upstairs has horrible customer service skills. Told me I’m not dressed “formal” enough in jeans and a tshirt when people wearing baseball caps and shorts coming down from upstairs.

Cool club with same type of music most nights. Wouldn’t call it an EDM place, more of an club playing trendy music…106.1 of EDM music. The staff is pretty on point, always great attitudes and the bar service is always pretty quick too… security guards are okay, can be pretty rude sometimes especially the ruby room one…Will allow access obviously on Sundays for sunset and sometimes for other days but you have no way of knowing. Rudely had a security guard say “I don’t know you” no one asked that was just asking to go upstairs. There’s two other bars other than the main music hall that are always doing other types of music.

The best music I heard at a club in a while!!! But I need to address a serious issue, hopefully management sees this. We came from out of town and went both nights on a Friday and Saturday because we enjoyed it that much. However the first night I interacted with two women in the bathroom who had "lost" their phones and then on Saturday night mine was stolen out of my purse with both my debit and credit card (as i use a wallet case which was turned into the bar thankfully with my IDs still in it) however they went to walmart and charged over $1200 the bigger problem here is the phone pinged to a house in dallas for 3 days straight until it than was located in hong kong china so all of this to say there must be an operation going on with stealing and it should be addresses by management and security else more innocent people with fall victim.

We went this past weekend for two of our friends birthdays. The atmosphere is great, feels like a nice club, however the drink prices are absolutely outrageous. For two double vodka cranberry’s i was charged $68 before tip… i completely understand that we’re paying partially for the experience but $68 for two drinks is ridiculous. we have ve been a loyal fan of Greenlight Social for a while, but I was so disappointed to hear about Josh being let go. He was one of the reasons the vibe there was so great—always brought such good energy. It just doesn’t feel the same without him. Hope things work out for him, but honestly, I might not be back for a while. It’s just not hitting the same.

Security makes up rules as they go. They tell us some of our group cant go upstairs because its business casual but when a few go upstairs, everyone isn’t business casual. When we ask the security guard, what happened? He tells us “life happens”. Don't come here.

Aggressive bouncer puts his hands on women. Went to this club while visiting my best friend in dallas on Friday night, July 5th. The center of the dance floor was pretty crowded, but our friend group was somewhere near the middle so we went into the crowd to retrieve them, since they didn't see the two of us ladies as we are fairly short. One of the bouncers began extremely aggressively attempting to clear the area and screaming at us to move, back up, and leave the area. This wouldn't have been a problem were we able to move at all, but we were blockaded into the area by men that were much larger than us. The bouncer, a young man probably about 5'11 with locs in twists pulled back into a ponytail, both aggressively shoved me directly into various large men blocking me from the entrance multiple times, and also grabbed my friend by the back of her head and pushed her as well. This bouncer was twice our size and very strong, and this is obviously not acceptable or professional behavior. Lucky for us, none of the men around us got upset by me repeatedly being pushed into them and eventually were coherent enough to let us through. I did not want to ruin our night by getting management involved, but this bouncer should really be handled before he becomes a liability to the club by creating a hostile environment and putting his hands on women.

Went to support friends playing music and got pushed away by a manager due to leaving my bike where I have always left it, but the one day the white boy is outside, he said I needed to leave it on the other side of the street. Never had a issue with security any other day so it's kinda disappointing that some lame wants to stop me from supporting and spending money there because of my bike.

You can thank the power hungry moron at the door going to the upstairs area for this review. This guy allows my wife, my sister in law, and my brother in law’s wife entry, but denies my brother in law and myself. His reasoning was dress code, mind you I’m was wearing black pants with a collared shirt, and my brother in law was wearing jeans, a t-shirt and a fitted cap. I watched him let two guys go up that were wearing t-shirts and jeans, and my wife confirmed that there were several other guys up there that were dressed casually. Between the booth with bottle service and the tabs outside of that we probably spent around $1k, but we can’t be allowed “upstairs”. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anybody, and I certainly can’t see my self returning anytime in the future.

Came here years ago when they only had VIP by the stage, a big dance floor and bar. Now it's multiple seating sections of VIP by the floor, a chicken coop size dance floor, standing by the bar and extra VIP by the dj booth. People don't even come here to dance anymore. I went last week at a big and everyone was literally just staring at the dj until it was over. The only people that had fun were the people in VIP. Garbage club. 🗑

We were next to the DJ and the guy tht works there (black guy with braids and a beanie) told the group that I needed to sit down, I sat down. Then bc I asked him if he wanted a drink again he thought I was drunk but I clearly thought he was in a different mind set

Ladies do NOT come here, it is seriously UNSAFE. Would give this place negative stars if I could. I got my entire purse swiped right off my shoulder in the middle of the dance floor on a Saturday night. Before I even realized what had happened the thief disappeared into the crowd. Security and bartenders did not care at ALL when I asked them for help. In fact, the security guard's response was to yell at me to get out of the walkway while I pleaded for help. Based on other reviews this happens quite a lot. Clearly management and staff do not care about keeping their establishment safe. Sketchy area and these supposed "security guards" do not have a care in the world. The next morning I went back to see if the thief had left anything because I had no cash and cancelled all of my cards immediately. JR at the bar was very kind to me and had me leave my name and contact info should anything turn up. He was literally the only good thing about my entire experience there.

First off…. The man assumed I spoke Spanish and started trying to say my shoes aren’t allowed upstairs. When I responded in English he CONTINUED to speak in Spanish. He said “if they were platforms I would let you up” meanwhile I have 3inch platforms. If the shoes weren’t aloud how did I get in??? I asked the bouncer and he couldn’t even speak…. Discriminatory experience. My friends reserved a table for me while I was in town, but I was denied entry upstairs due to my “outfit” (shorts and a crop top). Meanwhile, several white women wearing similar outfits were allowed in without issue. It was clear they were selectively turning away Black women and men. If someone is part of a table reservation, they deserve the same respect as everyone else regardless of their race

I’ve always heard mixed reviews of Green Light Social, more often than not that it’s mediocre at best. Imagine my surprise the one time I go to give it a chance I can’t make it passed the front door due to “dress code”. I’m willing to accept if I’m at fault but I checked online and their instagram where no apparent dress code is displayed. The experience was soured more by the bouncer wanting to charge $40 to buy my way in. In hindsight I should’ve asked to speak to someone else, b/c would they rather I spend $40 at the bar or $40 that goes straight to the bouncers pocket. This place could serve to learn better from other establishments. Mind you they were enforcing this “dress code” on a Thursday that seemed relatively unpacked, and for a FREE event.

We were there this past weekend and the bouncer literally charged us $50 a person to get in. It was 6 of us so just from us he made $300. He made us Zelle him which we thought it was weird. Can’t imagine how much money he made that night. Ontop of that the service was horrible, long lines and 15 min just to get a drink.

First time here & was very disappointed! Overcrowded venue & ridiculous lines at the bar. We made our way down onto the dance floor, where I was pushed on the shoulder by security. So, if you’re not “VIP” or paying 300% over for bottle service, don’t expect anything good from this place.

I went with my friend, and all of the bartenders were completely rude and refusing to serve us.I tried ordering from a woman with brown hair, a black man with dreads, and oh white guy with a low-cut beard. I tried to get served by every bartender and all of them ignored me while trying to see if any other customers needed assistance. I even waived my hand and yelled at of their faces while other customers could clearly hear me and see me, but the girl bartender refused to look my way and acknowledge me. I felt uncomfortable so me and my friend just left and went to another bar where we felt welcomed. Not sure if it was because we were black or if we just looked young but either way we didn’t deserve to get treated that way at an establishment.

Bathroom attendants are jerks. I imagine they’re not employees but green light needs to have higher standards who works in them. The men’s attendant didn’t speak English and pulled me by the arm and tried to force me to tip him. I didn’t take any mints or anything but the jerk was trying to take advantage of drunk people to tip him. Have higher standards, Green Light. At least make them speak English. They are jerks who make me not want to come back.

I recently had a very disappointing experience with this establishment. I accidentally left behind a personal item that was confirmed to be tracked there. Since I am from out of town, I asked a friend to stop by in person, and they confirmed that the item was indeed at the venue. However, when I attempted to arrange retrieval, staff suddenly denied having it. I have tried contacting the business multiple times — calling over 15 times, leaving voicemails, and even attempting to email — yet no one has responded. Calls consistently go unanswered, and no messages are returned. This lack of communication and accountability is extremely concerning. As a customer, I simply want clear communication and honesty regarding my lost item. I strongly urge management to improve responsiveness and transparency, as this experience has left me questioning the integrity of their operations.

Scammers.. ordered 2 old fashions.. charged $20 x 3 makers mark. Complaint about it & was told that’s the “policy” to charge 1.5x.. then a 20% fixed tip. Servers name on the receipt. One of the worst clubs in deep ellum, dead inside and they discriminate against tattoo artists and people with face tattoos. You cannot get in if you have neck tattoos either. Which is weird because I've been here before and got in with face tattoos. Now they won't let me in. It's discrimination. I am a tattoo artist and my money is just as good as anyone elses.

Someone stole my wallet from INSIDE my purse on the dance floor and theres auto 20% gratuity on every bill for already over prices drinks, never coming here again

iPhone 16 Pro Max & YSL Card Holder Stolen – Be Cautious! I had my white iPhone 16 Pro Max and YSL card holder including license/ couple credit cards stolen straight from my purse last night. Please be extremely careful — the crowd is packed and you won’t even notice until it’s gone. I wasn’t the only one either; I’ve heard multiple similar complaints about phones and wallets being stolen here. Club security needs to be more vigilant and proactive about this. It’s unacceptable that this keeps happening. Be alert and keep your belongings close at all times.

I would give zeros stars if I could. I had a terrible experience at this place. We got kicked out after someone falsely accused for something that never happened. There was no proof, no proper investigation, just a quick decision to remove us. I paid money to be there by Zelle to a random person at the door, and it felt so sketchy. The management and staff were rude, unprofessional, and made no effort to de-escalate or listen. The bouncer seemed more focused on hustling money from us than doing his actual job. On top of that, the overall service was awful. The vibe was discriminatory, and the staff made that loud and clear. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone looking for a safe or respectful environment.

Paid $60 to see Shaboozey play 2 songs. $15 drinks that were pathetically small. This is Dallas not Miami. I'd pass on this one unless you need somewhere to use a fake id.

I’ll say this, do not order food from Uber Eats from this place. I got there 2 for 1 GLS Burger and this thing was beyond disgusting. I’ve ordered here before with no issues , but this time around, nothing was right. Requested bacon - no bacon. Requested pepper jack cheese - got American. Paid more for tater tots, got fries. The burger was all over the place. This must be the pre club night and the people in the kitchen don’t give a damn about the customers order. All around poor experience. Can’t even get ahold of anyone to complain about the meal. So sick of places that put in zero effort but takes people’s funds. You guys are pathetic. Don’t order here. Find a different a place, atleast a place with customer services when things go wrong Not worth it - for food.

I had a very disappointing and horrific experience at your bar recently. Without any fault of my own, I was disrespected and physically pushed out of the bar. This kind of treatment is completely unacceptable. I tried to address the situation calmly, but the staff/security showed no willingness to listen or provide a valid reason for their actions. A bar should be a place where patrons feel safe and respected, not mistreated without cause. The place is good but not the people working they do not want even to talk about anything . stupid folks . I strongly urge the management to take responsibility, train their staff better or even fire bouncers , and ensure this doesn’t happen to anyone else. I would not recommend this place to anyone who values a safe and welcoming environment. I am looking to take legal action and report any damages because of the bad treatment .

I was there on Saturday night, got my wallet stolen out of my closed purse. The other girl I was with also got her wallet stolen as well. The people that stole our wallets are pros, and unfortunately there doesn’t seem to be any real action following. There are numerous other reports of theft at this place and I wish I would’ve read reviews sooner. I am not one to write reviews but I feel it’s important for the safety of others that I share. I will NEVER come here again-

Bouncer by the entry to upstairs said I can’t go up for no reason. While wearing jeans polo and a puffer. Meanwhile some guy walking out was wearing jeans a shirt and a black coat. He said it’s “business casual”?? But my friends were allowed to go up wearing black jeans and a shirt?

The vibe is not vibing, poor quality drinks, sketchy crowd, and the DJs are horrible. I’ve been twice with friends thinking the first was a one off but nope… Turning the volume up louder does not make it better, not a place to socialize as you can’t hear each other. The rooftop has a nice view but that’s about it. Save yourself the trip.

Just getting to the point, went in last night with my girlfriend for an event. I went to the bar 2x myself and everytime I was closing, the bartenders kept giving me the same dried pen so I couldn't really sign so I gave them cash. On the last one, I specifically remember giving them a tip but as soon as I check my account in the morning, a $75 was taken out and I know damn well I didnt give or spent anything that amount last night because it was only 2 pineapple malibus and a beer... What kind of scam is this & where's y'all integrity...

On Labor Day weekend, on a Sunday, I went to their special event upstairs wearing shorts and a collared shirt, and I got in without a problem. I had an amazing time. Later, I showed up again in the same style, just different collared shirt and shorts, but this time, I wasn’t allowed upstairs. They told me no shorts, and that the dress code was casual. So I went and asked what’s the dress code, they said the rule was jeans and a collared shirt, clean and formal, basically no shorts. Then today (Sept 27/28), I went in a collared shirt, jeans, and sneakers, but they still told me I didn’t meet the business casual dress code. Honestly, I don’t understand what they’re looking for. The first time I went, it was great, and now they’re being inconsistent and not letting me upstairs. It’s frustrating and disappointing.
