I stopped by this place recently and was really impressed. The food was excellent—everything tasted great and was priced fairly for the quality and portion size. The owner and staff were friendly and made the experience easy and comfortable. The place was also super clean, which says a lot about how it’s run. Overall, it’s a solid spot. Good food, good people, and a clean setup. I’ll definitely be back.

We drove from Bedford tx to try this place with my girlfriend and we loved it. The Lucha Libre memorabilia is awesome and I bought an amazing Dallas Cowboys Lucha mask (LA Parka styled) with the encouragement and ok from my beautiful girlfriend. The owner is very nice and friendly and I believe we were helped my by his wife and she was very nice and helpful. It's family ran and food is also amazing. Definitely going back and Definitely recommend you try.
We were travelling and we were starving. After a quick Google search, we ended up in this place not entirely sure of what to expect. The decor was very colorful with walls filled with Lucha Libre memorabilia. We get to the counter, to order, and Whoa! I recognized that smile right away, there smiling and asking for our order was no other than the wonderful Rodolfo Jimenez!!! Fast forward, the food is delivered, big portions, and it was absolutely delicious to the last bite! 😋 I had the Green Chilaquiles and they did not disappoint! We'll definitely go again next trip to Dallas.
If you have the opportunity to visit them don't pass! It's a really nice place, quiet and the atmosphere is overall great, the owner himself took our order and he was amazing, really nice, we felt really taken care of. And the food? I grew up in Guadalajara and for the first time in 8 years I found food that reminded me of home, 100% recommended for those looking for an authentic restaurant. We are coming back FOR SURE!
We had first heard about this place on a food reviewing YouTube channel. The gimmick had seemed fun being luchadores. We arrived at and were content to find easy parking and the restaurant had clients but wasn’t overwhelming. We saw the menu and my vegetarian friend was surprised that any menu item she had in question was clearly labeled vegetarian. It took all the question away from dishes that could go either way. We got the chile relleno, quesabirrria, vege taco, and cheese quesadilla. We found a spot and chatted about all the authentic luchador memorabilia. It was a fun atmosphere, they had sports channels and music playing but not to the point where it drowned out any conversations. Purely enhancements for the sitting. The food came out fairly quick and the portions of our order were very fair. We knew instantly that we’d be taking some home. The chile relleno was glorious and honestly some of the best prepared that I have had between several different border states. The quesabirria was the perfect consistency of tender and flavor. The consume hit the spot just right. The chipotle that came on vege taco was just the right flavor for what it should be. The table side sauces were great. I would rate them “kid friendly, traditional flavor, and a good spice flavor enhancer.” The owner came by and started a conversation with us even though there were multiple clients. We told them how excited we were to try the place and how we were drawn by the atmosphere. He told us with passion about his childhood going to the luchador wrestling in Mexico and how being surrounded by the luchadores was so monumental to him. We adored the passion but also could tell the food was made absolutely by hand. We’re going back to try more menu items soon. 10/10 Go here at once just for the experience.

Incredible food and service! The atmosphere was great and they even had someone for menu options for kids that were equally as flavorful and tasty. Hands down best food I have had in DFW. The owner was fantastic explaining any questions we had about to food. This will be a new staple for our family! 10/10 would recommend- you have to try it!!
Maskaras Mexican Grill: Best Birthday Ever! A Lucha Libre Paradise! As a huge professional wrestling and Lucha Libre fan, I knew I had to check out Maskaras Mexican Grill, but I had no idea what an incredible experience awaited me! My wife and I went today for my birthday, and the entire atmosphere is electric. The food—especially the tacos—is authentic and absolutely delicious, but what truly makes this place legendary is the service. The owner is genuinely one of the friendliest people I have ever met. When he found out it was my birthday, he not only came over to chat but he personally sang "Happy Birthday" to me and brought out a complimentary cheesecake. Talk about feeling like a champion! Beyond the exceptional kindness, the owner also took the time to walk us through the restaurant, pointing out and telling the stories behind some of the incredible lucha memorabilia on the walls. It's clear this is a passion project, not just a business. If you love great Mexican food, an amazing atmosphere, and world-class hospitality, you MUST visit Maskaras Mexican Grill. It’s a total knockout! We will definitely be back to support this gem. GO! GO! GO!
I had the best time here! The food was absolutely delicious — full of flavor, fresh, and perfectly cooked. You can really taste the love and care in every bite. The owner was amazing and so friendly, which made the whole experience even better. The staff were welcoming, and the atmosphere was great. Definitely one of my new favorite spots in Dallas! Bookmark this place as one of the bucket list place for entertaining out of town guests. As soon as you walk in, you’ll feel like you’re in Mexico. Spend few minutes at gawking at all the wrestling memorabilias then order yourself a quesso birria and drowned tacos. Just an amazing experience.
We really enjoyed our dinner here. The food was delicious. We loved everything we got. We got a Lonche de Lomo, tacos ahogados de carnitas and Carne en su Jugo. The restaurant is very clean and has a decoration of Mexican luchadores. It's name does it justice. Come check it out if you are in this area.
This was incredible. My son has been a huge luchador fan his whole life. I told him I found this place on Google and we had to go. The food was amazing. The owner was really kind and helpful. And all of the historical luchador memorabilia was a ton of fun for us to look at. We will be back!
Absolutely recommend it, I went to celebrate my Bday with a group of 15 people. It didn't take a long time to get the food even for a bug group. Berrian Tacos are awesome and they sell real horchata not the powder type
Finally made it to this spot to try their famous tacos ahogados and quesabirria tacos — and wow, they did not disappoint. The food was absolutely phenomenal. The space is bright, clean, and welcoming, with colorful luchador masks adding a fun, unique vibe to the atmosphere. The service was just as impressive. The staff were genuinely enthusiastic, eager to share their recommendations and answer our questions, which made the experience even better. This place is a true Dallas gem — can’t wait to come back.

Now let’s get to why you guys are reading my review 100% Recomended we got the torta ahogada the flautas doradas, tacos dorados and they were delicious every single dish don’t waist your time reading my review and go to Maskaras Mexican grill you won’t regret it and don’t forget to get you a cazuela with your delicious food perfection in a cazuela.
The torta ahogadas reminded me of my last trip to jalisco 15 years ago. Real authentic taste. Customer service was great from the two lady's at the front. The tacos dorados ahogados woth carnitas where great to. The taste of the sauce they drown them in reminds me of my moms home cooked meals. The carne is su jugo and shrimp tacos will be my next order.
Solid lunch! Highly recommend the tacos ahogados and quesabirria. Those were the favorites among our group. Rice is good too and the fountain soda was on point lol. My dad had had the mojarra and said it was pretty good, too. Clean restaurant with clean bathrooms and friendly staff.

As someone who is hard of hearing, I appreciated their willingness to accommodate my request to lower the music, allowing me to enjoy a great conversation with friends. Their street tacos are great! If you get the the 3 taco plate, the rice and beans are a worthy addition and just the right amount. I also got my order super quick.

Food was great! The best I have eaten in a long time. Consone has a delicious flavor and a spicy quick to it. The only thing that I didn't agree with was the fact that they put their salsa in a container like that.... it doesn't justify the flavor. Workers were not very friendly. Great job, but I'm expected to have better customer service. Music was very enjoyable!!! Great choices for that type of atmosphere. My drink was delicious. Will definitely go back before the end of my trip in this town.
3.7 stars. 1st time to try this place out. Was excited to try the birria tacos. They were good but not the best I’ve ever had. Chips and queso was mixed. The chips were very enjoyable while the queso reminded me of the nacho cheese you get at a theater. Friendly employees. Very clean restaurant. Lots of neat luchador masks and memorabilia. Will definitely be back to try other items on their menu.
Before documenting my dining experience, I have to give accolades in the area of cleanliness, which was A++. The restaurant was immaculately clean: floors, countertops, drink station, every table & chair. After much research, and the desire for street tacos, I decided to visit Mask Aras. Upon entering, I noticed all of the whimsical, colorful masks, and wrestling memorabilia. It was really unique. I was eventually greeted by a friendly staff member, and I ordered the taco platter. I got the food to-go, and it came out quickly. They had multiple beverage options, both non-alcoholic & an assortment of beers (alcoholic). The food was reasonably priced, comparable to other local taco shops. The tacos were pretty good, very flavorful. Wishes: More meat. They skimped on some tacos, and I wish they had fresh limes instead of lemons. Also, the little baggies of hot sauce were difficult to open, and can become messy. Overall, I would definitely visit again, and tell a friend!
