Delicious food! Chicken enchiladas verdes, chilaquiles con huevo and torta al pastor was on the menu for my family. The food was so delicious we dug right in before snapping a picture. Great service, clean atmosphere and homemade style Mexican food. The arroz con leche to go was a good treat.

Such a cute little gem in Oak Cliff! The aesthetics of the place is so cool. I'm a Latina and walking into this restaurant just feels like home. The food is definitely homemade. The chips are authentic, served with black beans & 2 salsas (the green one is the best) and the chilaqiles I had reminded me of being in San Luis Potosi, MX. The coffee has a hint of cinnamon which is delish. And try one of their aquas, the limon one is going to be my go-to during this Texas summer. A new fav spot for me!

This place is awesome. A hidden gem in Oak Cliff. The food is fresh and EXTREMELY TASTY!! The Birria tacos are some of the best that I’ve ever had. The rice was so light and fluffy. The staff is friendly and welcoming. I could not believe how reasonably priced it was! There is even a store that sells Mexican candy and cool trinkets on the other side. Definitely check them out. You will be happy 😊.

The food is truly amazing! The music is GREAT! The atmosphere is fun and family friendly! They also serve margaritas just saying. My mom and I, have been coming to eat at El Catrin for about a year now. Un champurrado en la mañana o unas margaritas acompañadas de una parrillada en fin de semana!!! Todo esta súper rico !

I love the name but not the price for tacos. WARNING - tacos are expensive. My husband and daughter stopped by for lunch. Very friendly and clean. My concern, the price for tacos. $9.36 for 3 tacos. Oh but you want meat with the tortillas, then that's an additional cost 😟. My husband paid $16.23 for 3 tacos! No beans, no rice. I'm sorry, but we have been to many restaurants in different places and these are the most expensive tacos. Needless to say, I was not happy he didn't cancel the order and went somewhere else. Yes, the tacos are not the traditional small tortilla, but they were not worth that price. Unfortunately, will not go back. This was our experience and encourage you to have your own.

I had the caldo de pollo. It was pretty good and loaded with veggies. I will definitely be back to try something else on the menu. The corn tortillas are huge and made fresh. You got chips with 3 different salsa's. The green salsa was to spicy, but overall good flavor. I also liked the decor and small mercado. The customer service was great. Fri 04/14/2023-Hubby and I stopped by for a quick bite. The food was okay. There have been some changes. The service was good, but the portions could have been better in my opinion. We both ordered a tostada.

Food 2 was okay.. need more meat n flavor love for the plate ..wish that could used different plate 🍽 or something with loteria style. ..goin with theme of places.. So the decor is really nice and entertaining but the food underperformed. Ordered 3 carnita tacos with rice and beans and as you can see from the pictures the rice and beans were not included in my order. On top of that the carnitas was closer to boiled chicken (unseasoned) than it was carnitas. Service wasnt too good but I definitely feel like they were just having a bad day and seemed short on staff.

I have never received services like I did at this restaurant. I was really excited to try this place and drove 30 min from home. The server took our drink order and brought it to us. I told her that we were ready but she took the menus and walked off. Didn’t even bring us chips or anything! We had already been waiting about 20 minutes when a large family came in and sat down. She immediately ran to them, took their drink order, and took them all their drinks. And then proceeded to take their food order right in front of us! She even took them chips and salsa when we hadn’t gotten anything. I was extremely shocked and upset. I have never received that treatment before at a restaurant. And on top of that I was starving. We paid our drinks and left right after we saw that and as I glanced over to her, she had a smirk on her face. I WILL NEVER BE GOING THERE AGAIN. I am the type to recommend to everyone the restaurants I try. But I will 100% not be recommending this restaurant.

DONT EVEN WASTE YOUR TIME HERE!!! Terrible!!!! Did a carry out order and got our order wrong the first time, so had to wait longer for them to make sure they got our order wrong. As if we didn’t know what we ordered. Wasted 50$!!! On 2 taco plates, Guac and 2 aguas. Taco plates came with NO limes or onion/cilantro and the guac came with no chips?! Just a waste of 50$…WILL NEVER ORDER HERE AGAIN. And if you’re thinking about ordering here DONT.
