Enoteca Italia is a great neighborhood spot with a cozy atmosphere and very good Italian food. The Pollo Piccata was amazing — perfectly cooked with great flavor. Friendly service and a welcoming vibe. Definitely a place I’d come back to.
Best Italian food I have ever had! Drinks were superb by two phenomenal bartenders, Frank and Raimi. A great wine selection of quality wine. Ask Frank for his special Espresso Martini! Chef Alban has done a phenomenal job raising the bar for everyone to catch up to. Food is fresh and cooked to perfection. Service is amazing and nothing but first class. Atmosphere is perfect for a romantic date night or anniversary. Drove almost an hour to visit this restaurant, and it did not disappoint. Pics are of Chicken Fettuccine Alfredo and Pollo Picatta.
I’ve been coming to Enoteca for date nights, gatherings with friends, and special occasions ever since the restaurant opened. It’s one of my favorite Italian spots in Dallas. No matter what you order—pizza, pasta, specials, or dessert—the food is consistently delicious. Gina’s attentiveness elevates every visit and makes the experience truly special. For our anniversary, Manny surprised us with the most incredible dessert, which was such a thoughtful touch. I can’t wait to come back!
Hard to believe that this was our first visit to this chic Oak Lawn eatery, but it was- and it won’t be our last! We got there at just the right time, grabbed 3 seats at the bar… within 10 minutes, the bar was completely full and the restaurant was buzzing for 6pm on a cold, Dallas Friday. The bar tenders were so friendly and extremely knowledgeable of everything they had to offer- very refreshing. We ordered the Fig and toast appetizer- delicious cheese and served in a really cute mini mason jar! 10/10 recommend. We also ordered the Seafood Linguni (with king crab), cacio Pepe (with chicken) Cesar Salad, and last but not least, the Veal Meatballs! All were served quickly and piping hot, the red sauce was perfectly seasoned and very, very flavorful. Pasta is definitely made in house. Can’t say enough about the experience. The owner (or at least GM) was ever present as in most Italian restaurants. He came over and made sure we enjoyed everything and even validated our ticket for us. Will be adding this to our rotation for sure!
Vegetarian from Austin visiting Dallas for the weekend and I am so glad we stopped in! The food tasted fresh and quality was fantastic. Our server CARLOS was friendly, informative, knowledgeable on the menu and wine, and made great recommendations. Service was quick and excellent. Everyone check it out rn.
LOVED THIS PLACE. The food, service and ambiance was top notch. Damian was our server and every recommendation he made was chefs kiss. Gina, the owner, came by and was so kind and fun to talk to. If you’re looking for a cute date spot or dinner with friends, this is the place to go!
This was my first visit to this restaurant, and I brought my two daughters along with my 2-year-old grandson. We started with the bruschetta appetizer—it disappeared so fast I didn’t even get a chance to snap a picture 🤦🏾♀️. My grandson especially loved it! At first, it did take a little while for our server to circle back so we could place our order. However, not long after, the host Gina (I believe that’s her name) stopped by to check in. When I mentioned the service felt a bit slow, she immediately asked what she could do to improve our experience. She even went back to the kitchen to check on our order, and soon after, our food arrived—hot, fresh, and absolutely delicious. Every bite was full of flavor, and we savored it all. When we asked for the check, Gina surprised us with a complimentary doughnut crème brûlée and three spoons. It was such a thoughtful gesture and the perfect sweet note to end our meal. I loved the cozy, intimate atmosphere—it made for a beautiful evening with my family. We left full, happy, and already talking about our next visit. Highly recommend!
I dined here with a large group but still had exceptional service. I ordered the Seafood Linguine and it was phenomenal. There was a good variety of seafood and the noodles were cooked just right. The ambiance of the place was amazing too.
What a wonderful experience. Chosen based on reviews. Exceptional. Gorgeous interior and ambiance. Awesome vibe. Wait staff was amazing even when short staffed. Delightful conversation with the general manager (Gina) who came over to each patron to check on them. Personal touch. The food was amazing. (Bolognese) Dessert was perfect. (Crème brûlée). Parking validated next door too. A must go to. A wonderful small business with attention to detail eager to create a special experience.
This was actually the best food I have ever had, I really enjoyed this place. The waiter (Micheal) explained everything so well and took very good care of us. The calamari was so fresh, the bruschetta was HEAVENLY, and lasagna was the best I have ever had! I definitely see why there is such good reviews! Will definitely be back and became our new favorite restaurant.
Great first experience. We made a reservation and were seated within 10 minutes. The staff was very friendly and regularly checking we were on without being intrusive. The food was very tasty. The server had great recommendations and the ambiance was noisy yet intimate. Definitely coming back.
Just incredible, family owned. Hands down the best focaccia app and Brussel sprouts side I've ever had anywhere. Amazing pasta made in house. We ate too fast to take many other pictures but I can't wait to go back.
this was my second time here and the food was absolutely amazing per usual. the focaccia and honey was absolutely to die for and the specials- the branzino and the carbonara braised beef tortellini were phenomenal! our server gave us an excellent wine suggestion and we got a bottle which paired great with the food. only complaint would be parking is a bit annoying but not the worst by far. definitely will be back!
We have been to Enoteca twice now. Once for dinner and once for lunch. The dinner ambiance is very elegant and fine dining. Lunch was breezy and bright. Each time was an extremely pleasant and satisfying experience. Their service is top notch. Wine selection is good enough. We have ordered the braised short rib (to die for, melt in your mouth), squid ink pasta (really good but could be overwhelming to some), short rib panini, rib eye (so tender), and our FAVORITE lobster in a jar!!! We are excited to try their pizza next!
Every time I come to Dallas, Enoteca is the first and only place on my mind — and I’m always here for just one day! I can never get enough of the incredible food, the vibe, and the warm hospitality. Honestly, I almost regret not having a second stomach 😂😂 because everything on the menu is worth trying. If you're in town and even remotely into Italian food, this spot is an absolute must. Can't wait for my next trip... and next meal here!
We’ve dined here several times, and each visit just gets better! It’s the kind of place that works for everything—from guys' or girls’ night out to date night. ✨🎉🍽️ Service: Our waiter Christopher was fantastic, friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed. He made the whole evening smooth and enjoyable. 🙌🏽👏🏽 We also got to meet Gina, the Chef’s wife, and she was an absolute joy! Beautiful, full of life, and so welcoming. Chef… you did good! 💐💬💕 Food: Let’s talk about flavor! The meatballs are a non-negotiable, we get them every single time. 🔥 The Chicken Parm is massive and seasoned to perfection. The lasagna? Melt-in-your-mouth goodness. These are our top 3 so far, but the menu keeps calling us back for more. 😋🍝 Drinks: Creative, classy, and crowd-pleasing 🍹🍸: Flora Dora – raspberry + ginger combo, served in the cutest glass 🍓🫚 Luna Rosa – deep cherry color, slightly tart, and so pretty 🍒 The mystery “manly” one (name escaped us) gave major French Connection vibes 🥃💪🏽 BONUS: I always like to make things complicated 😅 so I ordered a Lavender Lemon Drop that wasn’t even on the menu. I don’t know who made it, but ✨boss man✨ you did your thang! 💜🍋🔥 Ambiance: Think casual-elegant. Romantic enough for a date, relaxed enough for a night out with friends. Warm lighting, good music, good energy. 💡🍷💑 Dessert: One word: incredible. The Crème Brûlée donut (not its real name, but you’ll know it) was life-changing. I’d drive an hour just for that. 🍩💥 Bottom line: This place knows how to deliver, from the kitchen to the bar to the people. We’ll be back again (and again). Go try it, you’ll thank me later. 💯🙌🏽🎯
Chef Alban Besiri takes Dallas Dining to the next level! Enoteca is a rare and modern celebration in Italian family style cuisine. The culinary team is led by the fearless Chef Alban and the floor is run by a staff of highly thoughtful and considerate team that will take you into a modern traditional experience that will absolutely blow you away. Gena is the crowning jewel of Enoteca and the team that they've have is second to none in Uptown DTX. Go fall in love for yourself and you'll see what I mean. I had the Rigatoni Salsiccia but there are no pictures because after the first bite everything disappeared and all I saw was the plate in front of me. Try everything but especially the Crème Brûlée Donut and the latest Empress Gin cocktail! Tell them Gabe sent ya 🥂
We visited Enoteca Italia for the first time to celebrate my niece’s birthday with family. We had the best time! The food was absolutely delicious. My personal favorites were the focaccia and the crispy Brussels sprouts. So good! What really stood out to me was that the owners were out on the floor greeting guests and checking in to make sure everyone was enjoying their experience. And last but definitely not least, a huge shoutout to our waiter, Jordan! He was amazing, so attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu. He answered all of our questions and made our experience even better. We will definitely be back!
Better than our favorite Italian restaurant in Florence. Definitely start with the Focaccia. Everything was fabulous. Clay and Jeenah, our servers, were charming, thoroughly knowledgeable about the menu, and provided exceptional service with a touch of flair. Jeenah is the sweetest person ever to accommodate my disabilities, and do so in an unobtrusive manner. We love to support locally owned small businesses and this one is deserving of accolades.
My first dining experience was at the Oaklawn location in 1993. It was there that I learned about the secret off menu dip. Regulars ask for “ Bob Armstrong Dip” named after a Texas politician . It’s a great start to delicious meal. Took a client to lunch today at Forest Lane location. He had lunch # 9 Beef taco Al carbon, 2 cheese enchiladas with chile con carne, guacamole. Spanish rice, and refried beans. I ordered the #1 cheese enchilada Grande with chile con carne ,onions ,rice ,and refried beans The salsa and chips were very good. Atmosphere , service ,and food were outstanding! Menu has many choices too. 30 plus years says a lot about this Tex - Mex heavy weight restaurant. I highly recommend this restaurant. See you there !
I finally found the Mexican spot that you can love and feel guilt free about eating at! To all the carb conscious creatures out there on an A1C lowering journey with me I highly recommend checking out the Lite Fajitas option for lunch at Mattito's. Seared veggies, no oil, high protein, no carbs( except minimal black beans on the side). At least 2 meals. Happy bellies, great atmosphere, great service, fun times, pure happiness!
Our food was delicious. There were 7 of us. The orders were breakfast burritos w/ a side of beans, 2 chicken fajita taco salads, 1 steak fajita taco salad , 1 seasoned beef taco salad, 1 cheese quesadila w/ rice and French fries and 1 fish tacos. Everyone was very pleased with their food. It was hot and fresh. The service was phenomenal. Thanks for a great experience.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Matito’s Tex-Mex Review We stopped into Matito’s for a late lunch/early dinner and had a great experience from start to finish. The service was excellent—friendly, attentive, and right on time with everything. I ordered the Taco Trio, which came with one fish, one pork, and one brisket taco. Each one had its own flavor and texture, and all three were fresh and well-seasoned. My guest had the Chile Relleno with added fajita chicken and beef, and it was a hit—loaded with flavor and topped perfectly with queso. We also tried two of their house margaritas, and they did not disappoint—cold, strong, and just the right balance of sweet and tart. Overall, Matito’s delivered a solid Tex-Mex experience with great service, delicious food, and a welcoming atmosphere. We’ll definitely be back!
1st time here... Celebrated our friends 80th Birthday. The appetizers were great, but the mini fried bean burritos were my favorite! Yum... Chips were fresh and crispy, salsa was good too...We enjoyed the food and atmosphere and will be back to try more. Before closing comments.. Robero, (our waiter) is absolutely a top notch waiter! He is so spot on...attentive... And greets you with a smile.. In a large party as ours, he noticed and acknowledged every new face as they sat down. We didnt have to wait on drinks, service, food or anything...this man is amazing and I have to say he is a huge asset to this restaraunt.... He definitelly earns his tips! KUDOS TO ROBERTO ...I will definitely look for your seating area next time we come back! Warn regards, Tina Studdard
This...this was done right from the moment we walked in the door. Seated with no wait, ordered a Mojito which had to be one of the best ever, I ordered Pollo con molè which was exquisite! Chicken was tender, molè was so flavorful, the charro beans were packed full of flavor and not to mention the cilantro lime rice 😋. We finished off with sopapillas, but the best highlight of this entire evening was Jose! Jose was attentive, helpful, and so friendly. Food was great, atmosphere was great, but Jose was the cherry on top of a perfect evening out for my wife's birthday.
We were a party of four and all ordered different entrees and everyone really enjoyed their meal. I would say that mine was the best, I ordered the steal and enchilada plate and the steak was seasoned perfectly and so delicious. The enchilada was very good as was everything on the plate. I had a glass of Chardonnay and it was really good and a good pour. We had the guacamole for an appetizer and it was so tasty and fresh. Our server, Mary was so friendly, helpful and hard working. We will definitely go back.
I had a cheese enchilada with chile con carne on top plus beans, rice, chips, salsa, and perfectly sweetened tea for about $14. Delicious! Brought half home. Waiter superior and filled my ice tea glass 3 times. The chile was pretty spicy, as was the salsa. Perfection. Hostess was appropriately kind to this single, senior diner. I didn't have a margarita this time, but highly recommend them!
This place has the absolute BEST avocado enchiladas! All their other dishes are delicious too, especially the chili relleno. But I come here for those enchiladas. Swirls are good. Our server Roberto on a Monday night was great and very attentive. It seemed quiet and low key but have seen this place super busy. Always a great meal and dining experience of Tex Mex.

The food is quite tasty. The bean and cheese nachos were delicious. I would definitely order from them again. My daughter loved her fajitas as well. The enchiladas were good as well.
We ordered lunch today for Cinco de Mayo from here to be delivered for 7 people. The food arrived still warm, everyone’s order was correct not missing or messed up. The food was fresh and so was the guacamole. Everything was very good, everyone enjoyed their meal. I ordered the brisket quesadillas. The brisket was cooked perfectly, no complaints. The only issue we had, we had 7 orders, even ordered salsa and their secret dip, but all we got was one bag of chips. Needless to say, we had a lot of extra dip since we didn’t have near enough chips for everyone. Other then that we did not have any other issues.
Dined in for the first time at a family members recommendation. The salsa was fresh, homemade, delicious and not too spicy. The chips were also fresh and warmed. We both ordered the avocado enchiladas, but were a bit disappointed. The cilantro lime rice was delicious, my grandmother said the black beans were too spicy, and we both thought the enchiladas were lacking in the flavor department. We cilantro lime cream sauce was pretty bland, unfortunately, we would go back but would try something else. The service was excellent, however, our drinks were kept full and our server got us in and out after we mentioned we were trying to get to an appointment after our meal. There is a large covered patio that was very appealing, and they have a significant amount of indoor seating.
Food and service are always great, but yesterday the heat wasn't working and it was so cold we had to leave before finishing our meals.\nIf the heat is working, this place is always great.

I had a lovely night out with my girlfriends, and overall the food was good, though slightly overpriced. What led me to write this review was how the evening ended. I had paid my bill (leaving a generous 30%+ tip) and requested my tiramasu to-go. After waiting for 10-15 minutes I receive a by far the thinnest slice known to man. Honestly, for $15 I expected more. I genuinely dont think the food or portions justify the higher price of this restaurant.

Customer service was horrendous. This was first and last visit. Bartender profiled me and never acknowledged me which is typical but please don’t take your problems out on me. Store manager was nice nasty he defended such horrible acts. He said everyone loves him. Manger I’m not talking about everyone he did this to me. The bartender had the nerve to follow me to the car and yelled can I have my menu back. So you don’t acknowledge me in the restaurant but can make time to chase me out the door. The disrespect caused me to want to order to go by calling the restaurant. The manager said he will look at the cameras but I highly doubt it. Too bad the food is mid but I will never visit this place again. I took a long thought about the situation and realized the manager even cared either.
