Holy smokes! This place has top notch sea food dialed in!! The crab cakes are AMAZING. I had the chicken fried lobster and my wife had the Texas blackened fish. Both dishes very different and very very good in their own way. Seafood was cooked to perfection. My wife and I will be back soon!

The food is good. Our waiter was amazing. They were open for thanksgiving and the food was at a slightly discounted price. The drinks were pretty good. The bathrooms were clean.

We went here for my wife’s birthday and they made it such a wonderful experience. They treated her so special with quite a few complimentary touches. And the food was outstanding. My wife had the Australian lobster tail, which was so meaty and sweet. And I had the chicken fried lobster. I know that sounds unusual, but I can honestly say it was one of the best dishes I’ve ever eaten. And finally, our server, Amber, was so sweet and helpful. She made the entire experience great. I can’t recommend The Oceanaire highly enough, especially for a special occasion.

We celebrated our 2 year wedding anniversary here. It was our first time trying the restaurant and it didn't disappoint. Food was amazing. Our server Cameron was on point. They even gave us an anniversary card signed by their whole team. We would def recommend this spot.

Absolutely GREAT EXPERIENCE AND SERVICE!! Took my wife there for our 20th anniversary. Startes with a nice greeting when arriving even told us happy anniversary. Our waitress Jen was the absolute best and made it very special. Made accommodations anyway they needed to be made. She was very knowledgeable about the items on the menu and just made the entire night a great 1st time experience and moment. The food was absolutely perfect. Will definitely continue to return.

This place is amazing, I enjoyed the raw oysters. They were cleaned well and were really tasty even for an oyster. My mother ordered a ceacer salad and it was stupendous. Bravo for the chefs!

Wonderfully fresh seafood expertly presented. The Hokkaido sea scallops were perfectly cooked and served over the best risotto I've had in a really long time. The cocktail list had some delicious offerings, and I had the Remy Martin sangria. The gigantic peanut butter pie was enough for 4 people, and is smooth and creamy without being too rich or too sweet.

I visited the Oceanaire Seafood Room during Restaurant Week 2025. The prix fixe (pre set menu) was $49 and I selected the mussels, salmon, and strawberry shortcake. They were all tasty and I love the restaurant's ambiance.

Dinner was wonderful, and our server was fabulous. To our taste a bit salty because we cook our food, not salty. I forgot to mention that when our waiter asked for a diet restriction. It was my husband BD dinner, and they gave us free a bake Alaska. Everyone should try this dessert.

Susie made my experience sooo special and wonderful! Excellent service and delicious food. I had the crab cake for an appetizer which was moist and tasty. I had the spicy crab pasta for my main course and I loved that it had big chunks of crab in it. It was seasoned well too. Will definitely come back next time I’m in town.

I made reservations at Oceanaire Seafood Room for my husband’s birthday. It was our first dining experience there, and I must say that we were throughly impressed from beginning to end! Ms. Lisa, the manager, contacted me prior to our reservation to confirm dietary restrictions. She also answered my questions, and shared helpful details concerning the restaurant and our seating preference. When we arrived, we had the opportunity to meet Ms. Lisa. She was even more delightful in person than she was over the phone! Ms. Lisa and her staff took great care of us & helped to make my husband’s birthday really special, including providing the wonderful birthday menu!🎉 The service was 5 star & the food was fresh, delicious, and well-presented. We couldn’t have asked for a better first time dining experience & birthday dinner! We’ve now added Oceanaire to our list of favorite 5 star restaurants. Special Thanks to Ms. Lisa & her staff for the top notch hospitality & wonderful dining experience. We look forward to seeing you all again soon!😊

The lobster bisque was very good the rest of the food was satisfactory. This was our first trip Oceanaire in Dallas. It did not compare to the Orlando location. Our server was friendly, polite and helpful as was the rest of the staff. The location is nearing remodel age and it shows.

Our attentive server was friendly, yet professional. Her service, plus the attention the support and managerial staff seemed to give every table, bumped my overall rating up to a 4-star. Had I based the score solely on my food, it would be a 3 for me, but my husband & mom loved their appetizer and entree selections and would likely rate the their food 4 or 5. Just know that Nantucket Bay scallops, though a plentiful serving, are small. I just wasn't expecting scallops the size of a nickle. Lesson learned. BUT...had they been hot, and not just barely warm, and had the butternut squash puree they rested on been more than just a sparse schmeer, I would have given the food a 4. This was our 3rd visit and we'll go back. I'll just order better.

Went there to celebrate our anniversary, and everything seen to be in pal with our post experience. Service was very good. Ordered shellfish Tower and found that shrank in size drastically, and lobster were overcooked. Entries were good but not great, it took a long time before any good show up. At the end of meal when we're ready for check and server brought out a baked Alaska to celebrate our anniversary. That's surely a surprise. Good restaurant with friendly atmosphere and service always good. Love it lobster inside Galleria, can get shopping done before meal.

My husband and I made reservations at Oceanaire a month in advance as part of our Valentine’s Day weekend while staying at the Westin. We were looking forward to a relaxed, low-key evening where we could park once and enjoy a beautiful dinner without having to leave the area. We arrived dressed up for our 8:15 p.m. reservation and still waited about 30 minutes to be seated. While that was disappointing, we appreciated the complimentary champagne while we waited. The restaurant itself is absolutely gorgeous — the lighting and ambiance are perfect for a romantic evening. The hostess was warm, friendly, and engaging, which made for a lovely start to the night. Unfortunately, the experience shifted once we were seated. This was our first time dining here, so we had a few questions about the menu. I asked our waiter to explain one item twice because I didn’t fully understand it the first time. His demeanor made me feel as though I was inconveniencing him, so I chose not to press further. We ordered the surf and turf with lobster mac and cheese. When our meals arrived (delivered by someone else), the lobster mac and cheese and steak knives were missing. When our waiter returned, we informed him. He told us he had forgotten to mention that they were out of the lobster mac and cheese — information he knew at the time we ordered. He never came back to inform us or offer an alternative side. When we asked what sides were available, he said he wasn’t sure but would bring a menu. Instead, he brought out mashed potatoes without explanation. We were confused, as we were expecting a menu and steak knives. We even had to ask again for the knives. When we asked him how he would feel if this were his dining experience, he admitted he would be upset and acknowledged that the service was poor. While he did offer to comp the side, the overall experience had already been disappointing. It felt as though, because our reservation was later in the evening, the wait staff may have been exhausted. However, as guests who reserved well in advance, we expect the same level of attentive service as those dining earlier in the evening. While it may have been a long shift for the staff, it was our special evening out — and we should have received the best version of the service, regardless of the time. We truly wanted to love this experience, but unfortunately, it fell short of expectations.

Food is expensive, overrated, and cold. Ordered and then had to wait over 40 mins for it to arrive. The restaurant was not even busy.
