We were staying at the Westin galleria and found this great restaurant serving regional southwestern food. We experienced great service, the waiter was very knowledgeable to recommend menu items to us. Both cocktails were very good, the lobster beignets were interesting and very tasty. My husband ordered the southwestern salad with skirt steak and chicken. He said it was the best salad he’s ever had! I had the shrimp and grits and I pretty much cleaned the plate. To top off this great meal we had the drunken Texas pecan cobbler! Yummy 😋
The staff here is so good and Really make you feel welcome. The drinks were great. The bartender had suggestions for a new versions of drinks that we hadn't tried before.
TOP TIER! First time ever eating at a roof top restaurant. Quality and service was AMAZING! The Ethiopian waiter who’s name is Bush, made our experience even better. He was extremely welcoming and conversational and took some of the BEST pictures of our life for us! Follow on IG to see @iamzazel & @uniquechene! Our waitress was also very patient and polite. Unfortunately I don’t remember her name but I Highly recommend visiting this place. Lamb chops was A1!
The best breakfast I ever tried. Chicken waffle with jalapeños and caramel pecan, just delicious
Excellent food and service, the brie grilled cheese and the homemade graham crackers were amazing!

Food was good, probably not worth the price but the service was so good it mad up for the food. Servers spent time getting to know us and made us feel like family.
The food was pretty nice. I had the carne asada steak with fries. Really enjoyed the marinate on the steak. The service was terribly slow and I didn't get a server for over 15-20 minutes. Granted it was around 10pm and the bar was a little busy. More of a bar atmosphere but a good late night adoption if staying at the Westin.
What ended in a busy day I truly enjoyed the ambiance and customer service. I was not just another black person I was a consumer like everyone else. The wings were spicy for my taste buds but that glaze was beyond delicious. I don’t know what brand of Pinot Grigio but it was worth every penny! I highly recommend this restaurant. #worthit
I was a little thrown off when walking in as I thought this restaurant was like it was pre covid. The menu was nothing like it shows on here to be or like the pictures you see on here. Their prices are way to high for me to be nervous on taking a chance. I did to give them the benefit of doubt. I was quite surprised. I'm glad I took a chance. This is their mustard salmon. It was so good! I loved their veggies. I loved their mustard sauce. Their salmon was huge and I couldn't finish it. It was cooked perfectly. My husband got the Texas burger and said it was good. This morning we went back for breakfast. I had the Belgian waffles, bacon and potatoes. It was so good. My husband had the pancakes and said they we're good. Just know that their staff isn't huge so if they take a bit to come say hi that they're cooking and preparing. It is open seating. The staff is super nice but at the same time they match energy.

So I just stopped here for a drink while my friend was shopping and I have to say. It was one of the best Cosmopolitans I have ever had. But they gave my eye check and it was 18 dollars. Yikes. I mean everything about it was really good the service was great. The timing was great. The price was yikes.

The service was good. He tried very hard to make me happy. I order salmon with asparagus. I got chicken with carrots and okra. When the food finally came the center was raw. The sauce didn't have any consistency, the couscous was hard, and the salmon was lacking flavor. 😢

One of the strangest experiences I have ever had it a 4 Star Hotel restaurant. I come for Sunday Brunch. It was a super busy weekend. This is the ONLY restaurant at the Westin Galleria. I was the only customer, other than a family of 4, who left as I arrived. The waitress seemed to not like her job; had a sour attitude. The only atmosphere was a large TV blaring a Tele-evangelist! Food was edible, but nothing special and overpriced. All in all, truly not at all what I was expecting.
We went New Years Eve 2018 with 14 friends and had reservations. Of course we expected service to be slow on a crowded night, but no one was there. Only us. 1 waitress. So this should be easy right? Noooo all the food was cold. Soup was not temperature like not even warm. All the fries everyone had was cold. The sandwiches were nothing more than what you make at home. I had the Cobb salad small, but it was really good. The Pizzas were hot and good too. The manager did comp the tables bill. We are definitely not paying for several things anyway. Would I go back, probably never. But if you choose to go, I would go only for lunch. Never for dinner.
We love the location and have been many times. Lately, the food has taken a dive in quality. We went today for Father’s Day. There were not any kid options, so we had to order off of the main menu for our two kids. I ordered the steak. It was honestly one of the worst steaks I have ever paid for at a restaurant. Bland, not cooked properly, and the quality of beef was what I expect out of the clearance section at a mid range grocery store. The Brussel sprouts were described as ‘roasted’ on the menu, but came out soggy and full of water. I hope this place can turn it around soon.
You have the absolutely most rude staff at the bar downstairs. The gentleman who mans the bar is so short with the customers, rolls his eyes frequently, and is so quick to dismiss you. My team frequently books events in the area and relies on the Westin as our main meeting point. For this entire year we have been coming here we have all had negative experiences since the bar opened after construction with this person specifically.

I arrived, and everyone looked surprised to see a guest, I was a soli party of 1. It was dinner time. They were all scrambling and cleaning up. I ordered my food and tried to make a phone call. The employees were yelling across the restaurant to each other and moving chairs by scraping them across the floor. I tried to plug my open ear to be able to hear the phone turned up to near max volume. That still could not block the yelling of conversations. I do not get overstimulated in public, but this ambiance had my skin crawling, and I could not get out of there fast enough. As you can see from my photo, I changed my order to go. Food was not that good to go thru any part of that again. Chicken was overcooked and dry.
I chose this restaurant because it's located inside the hotel and I needed a quick breakfast before heading out. When I arrived, I was told to sit anywhere, so I did—but no one came to the table for over 10 minutes. I finally got to place my order (just a simple American breakfast and a berry yogurt), but the food took more than 20 minutes to come out. I ate everything in 12 minutes and still ended up spending a full hour there—from 9:40 AM to 10:40 AM. On top of that, the chairs weren’t clean, which added to the overall disappointing experience. Not ideal if you're looking for efficiency or cleanliness.
Went here for a late breakfast. And boy was that a mistake! It took FOREVER! They weren’t even busy. It took 30 minutes for a simple bowl of berries to come out. The food 40 minutes….ugh. Oh and then waiting on the check…..Why do I bother going out in this world????!!!!!

Poor service, one person attending both food orders, and bar. She seemed to forget about food after taking the order, had to walk to the bar after 30 minutes to check on when to expect the food. She is like I will check after serving the bar guests - who had just walked in 2 minutes back. 35 minutes to get the food, that wasn't tasty. Glazed salmon wasn't glazed, just dipped in some sauce. I expected some tanginess from mustard - but it was super sweet. I understand some places need more time, but I think it would be courteous to share the same with guests and not forget about them after taking the order
Nice meeting place and average breakfast. The staff made the visit worthwhile. I didn't even know this restaurant existed, but I'm interested in the full menu. I will NOT be returning since charged 3 times for 1 meal. Computer glitch yet transactions on different days. Too many calls trying to get it resolved. 1st time and last time. Too much of a headache to get my money back.
