We came here as a large party for a surprise birthday party. Staff was extremely helpful in reserving the semi-private back room. They were also helpful in setting up the surprise and storing the birthday cake in their fridge until it was time. As far as the food, it was very authentic and amazing. Since it was a large party, they were helpful in ordering the right quantities of various dishes to be shared family style. Each dish looked and tasted great. They were perfect for family style sharing. With the large party, they had multiple coming in to help service the tables and bring out all the dishes. We ordered everything from japchae, soups, bulgogi, galbi, seafood pancake, tteok-bokki, etc.. I recommend Seoul Garden if you want authentic Korean food served by a very friendly staff.

Tried this Korean restaurant at the recommendation of my Korean friend. The food was delicious! Best Pajun and chapchae I’ve ever had. They can do the grilling for you in the kitchen (which we did) so you can just sit back and relax. Of course, doing your own grilling at your table is also an option. Side dishes are so so and service can be better. Food came out quickly. The price is great for the portion you get. Will definitely come back for the food.

The food at this restaurant was undeniably delicious, bursting with authentic flavors that left our taste buds satisfied. However, the dining experience was ruined by awful service. The staff seemed disinterested and inattentive, making us feel ignored throughout our visit. Improvement in customer care would make this place truly exceptional.

So we rant and rave about this place to our friends and insist they try it. We've been going here for years and really enjoy it. This time was different. Yuk hoe was bland... in fact all the meat was bland. Guy cooking it also had something against medium so everything was super well done. The scissors were having a tough time cutting through all the tendon in our ribeye. Overall it was just terrible and embarrassing. Seems like there's new ownership since there weren't any actual Korean servers. This will be our last trip out. AYCE korean places have better meat quality for less than half the price

My boyfriend and I have visited Seoul Garden at least once every month throughout the past year, sometimes twice a week even! Every visit used to be something we truly looked forward to, especially the fresh prime short ribs and the yukhoe. These two dishes were always our must order picks, we always ordered two servings of the fresh short ribs along with the yukhoe. They consistently exceeded our expectations, and the melt in your mouth quality of the premium beef was unforgettable each time. Unfortunately, during our most recent visit (yesterday), the quality of the meat was far from what we‘d consider premium. The short ribs no longer had that rich, tender texture we had always experienced. On a previous visit last month, the gentleman who served us cut the meat excessively small and did not grill it well, in fact too well done, and he also didn’t seem to know how to properly pack the yukhoe to-go. Overall, the experience has declined noticeably. When the Korean ladies used to work there, there was a warm sense of familiarity. They talked with us, took great care of our table every time we visited, and it made us genuinely want to tip more because we appreciated them. Unfortunately, that atmosphere is gone now, and it feels like something we’ll never experience there again. The interior changes were also disappointing the previously enclosed corner seating area was opened up entirely, resulting in a noticeable lack of privacy. Seoul Garden had always been a place we continued to visit because we believed the flavor alone would make up for the rest, but sadly, even that consistency seems to be gone. Because of this, we’ve decided to try Goryeo Kalbi next door today, and the difference was significant. The restaurant was much busier, the service wasn’t that good but the quality of the premium fresh short ribs was superior, and it met our expectations. Seoul Garden has been a place filled with memories and anticipation for us, so it’s truly disappointing to feel that we can no longer rely on receiving the premium quality meat we once enjoyed so much. I genuinely hope the owner becomes more involved and prioritizes both service and meat quality so the restaurant can return to the level it once had.

Korean option in old Koreatown. The sides all tasted good except for the eggplant which we didn't like. The kimchi also tasted a little weird. We both got soups for a more casual meal. The kimchi jigae tasted fine but not better than other places. However, the monkfish soup was very bad. The fish was obviously very old as it was very tough and had no flavor left. They also cut it into huge chunks as seen in the picture. Because it was so tough, it was very difficult to bite into it or even break pieces off to eat. It was honestly a 1/5. But I'll give the restaurant 2/5 because I probably should have ordered BBQ instead and other items we had weren't as bad The service was good and the restaurant was clean.

The server adjusted the gas flame using the same tongs used for grilling meat, which was unhygienic and disgusting. Look at the picture and I will let you decide if you would touch those with the cooking tongs. The server mixed non-marinated meat and marinated meat on the grill without asking, so what’s the point of ordering non-marinated meat? I thought that was no brainer especially for people who works in korean grill restaurant. I don’t think I’ll ever go back nor recommend this place.

Rained, roof was leaking dirt water the whole time. The meal was mixed with dirt water from the roof. And, i ended up paying 100+ for a dirt meal. The manager went hiding when I complained.

Been coming to Seoul Garden for over 25 years. Usually consistent, good service, and delicious. This last visit was completely different. We ordered the Dallas Combo. The server brought out a platter of raw meat and just left. Normally they expertly cook and tend to the meat then cut and serve. On this visit we were left to cook and fend for ourselves. We tried to cook the first few cuts of meats but the timing was way off. Over or undercooked. So we requested help from the staff. They said they didn't have enough people so we had to cook the rest ourselves. We then asked them to cook the meat in the kitchen for us. They took it back to the kitchen. Then 20-25 minutes go by and nothing. So we ring the bell and have to remind them to bring our cooked meat back. They finally bring the meat platter back. All the meat is overcooked, dry and cold by now. We suspect they forgot and it was just sitting in the kitchen. Also the meat was still in huge slabs and not sliced. At the end, the huge platter of meat was not edible because it was overcooked, then cooled off. The meat was very dry and tough like jerkey. With KBBQ timing is everything. The Dallas combo platter was inedible and went to waste. The staff was not helpful and refused to help remake it or make any concessions. We were really expecting great Korean food based on our previous experiences here but we were hugely disappointed. Lesson learned. Will not be back.
