WOW Lesly was so helpful and let me change my order multiple times because everything looked so good. After a crunched flight (like sardines) I found a comfortable booth seat, I can see out of the window, had a corona and shrimp cocktail margarita-DELICIOUS. This is a familiar hub for me but my first time at TGIF DFW terminal B. Do it
Came here on a layover from Vancouver, Canada and had a wonderful experience with the server Alexander. He was efficient, extremely personable, matched our vibe, and communicative at all times even while the restaurant was super busy. I've served as a waiter for over 10 years and this is in the top 3 experiences I've had with a server. Writing this in hopes that the management team sees it so he can pass the compliment on. Thank you!
We stopped here after a long flight from Europe and had the best server Megan! She was so sweet and friendly and provided great service. Our quick meal was just what we needed and everything was delicious. Thank you Megan!
For the record, it has been a long while since I've visited any Friday's location, let alone an airport-based one.. In my 20s (back in the early 1990s, mind you), Friday's was a bit of a staple for several friends and me, so today's visit brought with it a bit of nostalgia.. I sat at the bar and enjoyed a "Fri-Yay" margarita crafted with Patron Reposado and the other customary ingredients.. I also enjoyed an order of mozzarella cheese sticks.. Service at the bar was great, with all three bartenders ensuring I had what I needed over the course of my stay.. The margarita was pretty good, but not the best reposado-based margarita I've ever had.. That said, it hit the spot and was at a price point I expected for a top-shelf margarita in an airport.. The cheese sticks were exactly what I hoped they would be.. Served piping hot 🔥 with a great cheese pull and Friday's legendary marinara on the side.. These delivered the nostalgic vibe I hoped they would.. All in all, I'm glad I visited and will certainly consider visiting again when passing through this section of Terminal B at DFW..
We had a wonderful dine-in experience at TGI Fridays at the airport! The food was absolutely delicious—we ordered breakfast, and boy was it good. Everything came out fresh, hot, and flavorful. Our waitress was amazing—attentive, friendly, and made us feel welcome from the start. Overall, a pleasant surprise for airport dining. Highly recommend!
Surprisingly solid airport breakfast experience. Kids meals are fairly priced and included French Toast and eggs. They also offer chicken and waffles if you are on the hungrier side. There is limited seating and will fill up quite quickly. You may have to settle for a high top facing the terminal walkway but at least it's a seat with good service!
I guess no one pairs drinks and food quite like Texans — and TGI Fridays absolutely nailed it. The Margarita Shrimp Cocktail was top-notch, perfectly balanced and full of flavor. Surprisingly, the Queso Energy Burger tasted phenomenal, especially for an airport location. For a branch inside an airport, the quality, taste, and overall experience exceeded expectations. Definitely a spot I’d return to before any flight.
It’s great to have a sit down restaurant at an airport and DFW has multiple on each terminal. At terminal B, TGIF is our favorite. It has something for everyone. Good cocktails, and beer list. Good finger foods for kids. And great service. Highly recommend the pretzel bites with cheese dip. We also ordered the fried chicken sandwich between kids and the waiter had it cut up into halves before bringing it to the table. Avoided all the drama at the table about cutting it in half and who gets to pick the bigger half.
Overall not a bad spot to eat if you have time to kill before your flight. I order chicken strips and it was pretty basic. I have eaten here prior and my appetizer sampler was much better. Service was great and the atmosphere isn't bad. If I end up here again, I'll try another item on the menu.
Food was ok. I had the New York Strip. Definitely over priced, but I guess thats airport food. Service was nice. Food came out fast.
TGI Fridays doesn’t usually hit my radar, but I thought I’d give it a try. The service was prompt, efficient, and informative. The Thai mango salad with grilled chicken substituting in for the skewers was very good. There was nothing particularly unique about it, but it was fresh, prepared well, and the dressing had a nice sweet to slightly spicy balance to it. The atmosphere in Terminal B was typical airport, but the music was way too loud. Overall, a solid experience and good meal.
We had a nice family lunch at TGI Fridays. The atmosphere was welcoming, and our server was very attentive and friendly. I ordered the grilled salmon, and while the flavor was excellent and it was cooked perfectly, I was disappointed by the size of the portion. It was extremely small by American standards, especially for the price. Everything else was great, but I hope they can be more generous with their protein portions in the future.
First time at this location, but good to see that they maintain the same operational standards. I had the Queso Burger, which was good, but the lower bun was too thin, which made my burger collapse. The place was busy even though it was 3 pm when I got there. If you need to work, this is a good spot as a few tables have power outlets. The waitress was genuinely interested in meeting my needs as a guest.
Stopped here to grab a bite while on a layover. They sat me right away, basically during peak lunch time. The server was pretty friendly, but halfway through he told me he had to use the restroom and told me to pay using my phone. I was good with that, but he never disappeared, just hung out in the server area. So, that just seemed a little weird. Ordered the Million Dollar Cobb salad. It was pretty good. All in all, good experience, I will eat here again.
We stopped into TGI Fridays in Terminal B at DFW while killing time waiting on a connecting flight. Starting with the positive… the place looked clean, we were greeted right away and seated almost immediately. The servers were friendly… not over the top bubbly, just normal nice which honestly I prefer sometimes when traveling and tired. I ordered an iced tea and the FRIB sandwich which is basically their rib sandwich with the meat pulled off the bones, onions and cheese, served with fries. Now… I went into this with realistic expectations. I’m sitting in an airport, not a smokehouse in Texas hill country, so I didn’t expect fresh off a pit BBQ. And to be fair, the sandwich looked a little disappointing when it came out but I still kept an open mind. Taste wise… it was kinda what I expected. No bones, no gristle, no huge chunks of fat which is good, but the meat tasted like it had been cooked days earlier and reheated. Not horrible… just that reheated BBQ flavor that never really works. If you’ve had ribs rewarmed before you already know what I mean. I didn’t send it back and I wasn’t mad about it. I mentioned it to the waitress and she was very nice and understanding about it. Honestly this location can only do so much inside an airport kitchen so I’m not here to bash them. Just sharing the experience so people know what to expect ordering ribs in an airport setting. Fries were decent, iced tea was good, and we actually ended up relaxing there a while and getting a second round of tea before our flight… which says something. It was comfortable and the staff was pleasant. So overall… this is more of a expectations vs reality thing. If you want a burger, appetizers, drinks, or just a place to unwind between flights you’ll probably be happy. If you’re craving real BBQ ribs… probably not the move here. 3 stars… not bad, just airport BBQ doing airport BBQ things.
The food and alcoholic beverages are pretty overpriced for the bland flavor they have. I ordered the dragon salmon and the double berry mojito, and it really was not something out of this world. I just sipped the mojito like 4 times and left it almost full. The server was attentive, but the host was not that friendly.
Service was slow. Didn't get ice tea till after order and burgers were burnt when ordering medium. Price was high but your in an airport so they got you. The shrimp cocktail was very good.
Staff was friendly and attentive. Coffee was delivered in a ceramic mug first that was dirty around the lip, so I asked for a fresh cup of coffee in a to-go cup so I wouldn’t risk getting another dirty mug. She graciously brought me a fresh cup of coffee in a to-go cup but definitely stiffed me on the amount of liquid actually in the cup as evident in the pictures. Ordered steak and eggs for breakfast and most of it was good but the steak was extra chewy (though ordered medium-rare), almost inedible and near impossible to cut with the plastic knife they give you at the airport.
While waiting for a flight on a Thursday afternoon stopped in for drinks and late lunch. Table for 2 was seated immediately in a booth in the back corner. Drinks were ordered and received quickly but probably waited 20 minutes to order food. Ordered a Cobb salad and Ribs meal and 2 drinks. $75 with tax and top. Was good portion sizes and great option for airport food.
We ordered Cocktails and the shrimp ceviche. I will show you a photo of what the shrimp ceviche was supposed to look like. I wish we would have taken a picture of what it really did look like. The photo on the menu looks like it is crammed full of shrimp. But what you really get is a cup of pico de gallo and corn with maybe one or two shrimp cut up into tiny pieces and hardly any avocado . What a rip off! Talk about bait and switch . The only reason I’m giving you two stars is because the service was good. We told the Server to talk to his manager about it. And apparently the manager didn’t care because he/ she did absolutely nothing. Didn’t offer a free dessert. Did not offer a Discount. Absolutely nothing. We will never go back to any Fridays.
I was treated horribly here after a long flight... I would NEVER go out of my way to write a negative review unless it was THAT BAD! ... for some reason the manager called airport security on me, and made me feel like a criminal..why? for what reason?? They do have an odd payment arrangement which is kind of self checkout style using a QR code, which I have never seen.. but i had every method of payment to pay it so why I was mistreated is a great question! I have never in my whole been treated this way..... as I work in this industry myself as a manager .... It was really bad ☹️ and I'm sad I have to make this post... I would never if it wasn't THAT bad. Just don't go.... go anywhere else. Horrible service after a long flight... and the manager's. behavior just doesn't make sense.I certainly dont want to be treated like garbage in my layover In this airport.. Absolutely ridiculous display of behavior... unnecessary at all costs... should have been handled accordingly.. Poor management skills at its finest. I hope they fix the problem with this manager in particular as she seems to have poor customer service skills as the servers even tried to fix it, but the manager was rude without even a discussion of any sort with me, the paying customer. I HAVE NEVER IN AL LMY YEARS AS A SERVER OR CUSTOMER Seen THIS TYPE OF POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE IN MY LIFE!!! HORRIBLE!!!!!!! "THE MANAGER!!!!! I'm still in shock..... if this is how you treat your guests, especially after long travel times... you d better get a new manager in there, who knows how to handle things the right way and properly. Even the the servers seemed embarrassed on how she handled it as they simply don't get a tip if you treat guests to this accord. Very sad 😔 And the $20 Cobb salad I ordered.... yikes.... ANYBODY can make one better themselves...
They don’t display drink prices, which feels misleading. Always ask the cost before ordering, otherwise you risk paying nearly double what you’d expect. A drink that should run $8 to $10 at an airport bar can easily end up costing twice that here. Transparency matters, and until they start listing prices, protect yourself by confirming before you commit.
