I love Wednesday ! #Flatbreads ive tried them all ! Staff is always nice ! I go say hi because i go Wednesdays ! FYI BOGO ! i work 2 min. away so super convenient (:
My favorite storel! The manager who's always here goes above and beyond to take care of me and other guests. He always gets my special requests right as well! Give that man a raise!
This location has excellent food and customer service! The new host Gabby is really kind and very professional, and so is the manager Abel.
Kale and grilled chicken salad was great! More than enough to fill you up! Never knew they had salads.
Was waiting on my son's friends flight and stopped at this location. It was great! Good food and customer service.
I had a pepperoni double cheese flatbread and it was so good...so much gooey cheese and big enough to hold me over until I get my lunch break at work. Highly recommend it!
Love the drive through simple easy. The new African American was not friendly at all. The spanish lady is so sweet.
It's a Schlotzsky's. I like the location close to work and it is never busy so I can get in and out quickly. Dinning area is nice with a TV, also has a Cinnabon in it.
Great staff, clean restaurant, and the food is always hot and fresh! I love coming here to eat.
I am not really a sandwich person, but I love the schlotzsky original sandwich. This location did not disappoint. The employee was wearing a mask per covid requirements.
Very good food and friendly service. Hubby and I had an Original. I also had a cup of Broccoli and Cheese soup. Yummy!
This is the best location that I have been to in a while. The food came out pretty quick and the lady that took our order was friendly. They were not too busy when we came in.
Absolutely fantastic all around! Delicious food, friendly staff, and great service. Highly recommend!
Very clean. Floors were recently mopped and all the tablea visibly wiped down. Area with refreshments and condiments neat. Cashier friendly and she helped me pick a sandwich. Fast service
Fast food hot sandwiches. Quick service. Bread was fresh, cheese melted, meat a tad crispy on the edges. A lot better than the other fast food chains.
This is my favorite location in the DFW area. It's less than 5 minutes from my old job and always was greeted with a smile! Grear customer service and quality food. Never had a complaint or messd up order either.
You can tell there has been a change in ownership for management to the positive. You're now greeted as well as asked was everything good about halfway through the meal. Keep up the good work.
This place has the best employee's they really treat you like family. Them talk to you and don't rush you to order. If you want recommendations they will tell you what to try. I work down the street and this is a must for me at least weekly.
Highly recommend the sandwiches with sourdough bread. They're really filling so make sure you come here hungry. They also have pizza and other cinnamon rolls.
Great place to grab a bite to eat in between sessions at the nearby texas gun experience. Should offer opportunities to tip employees.
Great experience from start to finish! The food was delicious, service was top-notch, and everything was quick and easy. Will definitely be back!
Wonderful experience stopping inside to get Cinnabon, drinks, and restroom break. The Cinnabon was warm and fresh and delicious! The restroom was clean and very nice! The sodas were thirst quenching! The staff were so polite and friendly and helpful! Our car wouldn't start and one of the staff came out and moved his car next to ours and used his jumper cables to jump off our car. He was so helpful and knowledgeable about what we needed to do as we had a 2 hour drive to get home. We were truly blessed to happen upon such a blessing of your restaurant as we were lost coming out of the DFW Airport and were hungry and thirsty. Merry Christmas to all and Happy New Year! Claudette and Harrison
My fiancé and I visited this location late last night and had a wonderful experience. The restaurant was so clean, the food was good and Destiny's service was outstanding. She went above and beyond to take care of us and to take good care of the facility. 10/10 would recommend!
I stopped at the Grapevine location on 3/18 at dinner time. The young lady at the counter was the epitome of great customer service. The meal arrived quickly. The food was good and the location clean and orderly.
Been going to this location ever since Founders Plaza opened up nearby. There's nothing like plane spotting at DFW and yummy food! In the 40 plus years I've been visiting Schlotzky's, there is not ONE time that I've had bad food. This location is no different. The Cinnabon here compliments the food.
Stopped in for lunch and grabbed The Original sandwich—everything was fresh, the order came out in under 5 minutes, and the staff made sure I had everything I needed. Clean space and super friendly vibe!
It was ok. My first sub there. It was ok. Not very weight watchers friendly. I would go back, but prefer potbelly, subway or a quiznos sub first. Really good service though.
Love Schlotzsky's but they are getting extremely sparse on their meat and the cheese was hardly noticeable. It was over $9 for a small sandwich.
Get there before 5 pm, 5 stars. Ill wait to see hoq the new staff works out but for today, i was pleasantly surprised that the second shift crew is doing much better😁
Always a great choice for lunch. Love the French Dip sandwich except it no longer comes in pretzel bread. Bring it back, please.
The portions are good.but Pastramy was very salty. Pesonaly i liked giant turkey sandwich.
A broken window and table in the side dining area. No greeting from the employees. A sliced avocado on the work station. Other than that, the food was good.
The food was fresh. I like the airiness of the bread that they use for their sandwiches. I had the beef and cheese sandwich and it was pretty good.
Good place for quick lunch, half tomato soup and half sandwich is good. Pretzel bread sandwich very good. Sweet tea highly recommend.
Very good food if you like sourdough. Not for everyone but I love the food. Pizzas are surprisingly good as well. I would highly recommend them. Although it's moderately pricey.
I want to Blackball Manager Chirag Gandhi. He is a jerk. The company advertised cheaper small pizzas after 3 p.m. I went in this store (Grapevine) thinking it was everyday, and the girl said it was just Mondays. I ordered one anyway cause I had my mouth set for one, and came back next Monday for the special. They said it was Tuesday, not Monday. I called the manager and he would not budge, even though I told him his girl got me there for nothing. So, okay - I still love the sourdough buns and pizza. But I just won't darken Gandhi's stinking door again!! - there are lots of other Schlotzskys.
This particular location is convenient to Where I work, consequently I stop by here reasonably often. The manager is usually around during business hours which is always helpful to solve problems. I have tried many of the sandwiches on their menu, and they are all pretty tasty I normally stick with the Deluxe original. This location seems clean and well organized Kama the service is generally quite prompt even during busy periods. They have both indoor and outdoor seating and obviously you can pick it up and take it with you. When I have been in there recently, the staff is taking all the virus precautions.
The sandwiches are always amazing at Schlotzsky's. My favorite is the original Turkey on rye. The pickle tops it off. As usual, the personnel is approachable, friendly, knowledgeable, pleasant, helpful, and accommodating. The front of the house is always clean, as are the facilities. The parking lot and outdoor dining area are kept clean. I appreciate the drink choices, and on the way out, a cinnamon or cookie is a great way to round off my lunch. They no longer carry the rye; I'm so disappointed, but the sandwich is still amazing. Update: I prefer to keep things positive, this is people's livelihood, but I can't today. This particular stores' franchise must have changed hands. Everything was wrong. The young lady at the register wouldn't speak; never uttered a word. I didn't have my glasses and she wouldn't tell me how much I owed. So I handed her a twenty, she gave me a nickel. Really? She delivered my sandwich, but I didn't get my chips or cinnamon roll. I had to go back and wait in line to get them. Then I took a bite of my sandwich, and it was the wrong sandwich. I wasn't waiting in line again, so I just ate it, but I don't know what all was in it, and had stomach issues all day. I am not going back to this particular store again.
Got my sandwich. It was just like I ordered. Service was good for how busy they were.
This was my first visit and the food was excellent. The only issue I had was the fact that the portion sizes were not well explained, so when i got the large i didnt realize it was the size of my head. Also the meal didn't include a drink and I had no way of knowing that either and they didn't offer me one. When I go back, and I will, I will know now how to order.
Got a take out menu so I could see what they offer. My hubby ordered me a large sandwich. He told me they are big. He wasn't exaggerating. It came in one of the big square styrofoam containers. The soup wasn't hot but we're did bring it home before we ate it so maybe that's why. I would go back again.
Last time I came in here the A/C wasn't working which kind of sucked, but it was a temporary thing while they were doing construction. In all honesty I didn't mind that much once I had my sandwich. The service here is pretty good, and the food is awesome. Never had any real problems with this location, and their bread is the best!
The staff was Amazing! Very helpful and the place was so clean! But if your hungry don't get the two for two is small! But that's my fault, I'm fat and Beautiful! 🙂 love yourself people!!!!
Today I called in my order, a Turkey Bacon Club on Jalapeno Cheese Bread. You dont want to get caught in the drive thru at this location. You dont know if it will be 7 minutes or 45 minutes. It's too unpredictable and Im not sure if it's employees, food prep time, poor service... However if you call it in you'll get excellent service and you're in and out in just a sec. Today my round trip time was 14 minutes from work and back. The lady at the cash register was polite asked if I wanted a receipt handed me my card and food and I was back on the road.
I came in on Thursday at 4 pm. I was the only one there. I noticed there were some dirt tables as soon as I walked in but not a lot. I ordered the pick 2 for 10.99 and a bag of chips. The service was friendly and helpful since I’m a vegetarian. It did take about 15 mins to prepare. The food was good.
Food tastes great but the drive through line moves very very slow. I've waited 20 minutes numerous times during lunch hours.
Staff doesn't listen when you say I just want "ham and cheese only.. I noticed they have kids working in the kitchen around food with dirty nails just makes me not want to visit here anymore Hygiene is everything....
Good food but the drive thru doesn't work the past 5 times I have to wait atleast 5 to 10 mins for them to recognize I'm sitting there. Nice manager but assured me it was fixed even though it wasnt.
The employees were friendly the place was clean. Now the downside... the food is good but overpriced and the menu doesn't really tell you what your getting. For example I ordered a Tuscan all the menu says is turkey, bacon, swiss for 8.29. It comes on ciabatta bread thus for its smaller than the rest of the sandwiches for 8.29 which come on sourdough. It had turkey, bacon, provolone & swiss cheese, red peppers, tomato, field greens, cilantro, chipotle pesto, and avocado. They got a nice fancy digital menu that leaves you in the dark when it comes to the details of your order.
Last I went, the Ice Machine was broken, and the staff taking the order was nice. But the person expediting was not very friendly. Overall, it's just cramped and doesn't feel very well formatted.
Perfect example anti-consumer corporate policies making the experience worse for customers. I went here on my lunch break to get a small chicken bacon smoke cheesy sandwich which I treat myself to about once a month and the gentleman working the drive through tells me he is no longer able to sell smalls of this sandwich because it's "on promotion" and he is not allowed to per company policy and he can only sell me a medium. This really sucks because a small is already a lot of sandwich for me and there's no way I'll be able to finish a medium and I hate having to spend extra money on food I know will just go to waste. I'm only giving 3 stars because the gentleman in the drive thru was very empathetic and understanding and I could tell his hands were tied by the current corporate policy and did not have the power to amend the situation adequately.
The food is decent but not particularly great. While the sandwiches are flavorful, the ingredients sometimes feel a bit lackluster compared to expectations. A little more consistency in flavor quality could elevate the dining experience. The staff is friendly, helpful, and efficient, making the overall service experience pleasant. Orders are prepared quickly, and the team is responsive to special requests or dietary needs. There’s room for improvement in attention to detail during busier times. The atmosphere is where Schlotzsky’s truly shines. The dining area is clean, well-maintained, and inviting, with a relaxed vibe perfect for casual meals. The layout and decor create a comfortable environment that encourages you to linger and enjoy your meal. Schlotzsky’s is a solid choice for a casual dining experience, especially if you prioritize ambiance and friendly service. While the food may not always steal the show, the atmosphere and attentive staff make it a worthwhile visit.
Food tasted good, but both of us had black particles floating in our water from the machine. Emptied, refilled, and it happened again. Assumed it was mold/grime, as it felt slimy to the touch.
The food is typically VERY GOOD, but only if the staff here makes it right. I'm never sure if I'll get what I ask for because they are unintelligible on the drive thru speaker, as well as unresponsive. I've gone here several times because I do like the food, but about half the time there is something wrong with the order.
Took a while to get my pre-made salad, everyone else in my party had already finished half their food (pizzas and sandwich) before I finally went to ask about my salad. Then the lettuce was wilted and tasted bitter. Pizzas were bland and tasted off, but sandwich was good.
They are pretty tight on the meat. Most other locations, you get twice the amount. Made a large pick-up order for about 20 people. Nothing was labeled. So, I spent 20 minutes unwrapping every sandwhich to figure out what was what. Won't be the first choice for our group orders for work. Step it up, stop being stingy with the toppings, please. Tables were pretty dirty as well, and this was before the lunch crowd.
I get there and it's dead. I walk into the bathroom and it's dirty. There's a wrapper for to-go utensils and toilet paper on the floor. The floor needs to be mopped. But the faucet had hot water, which was so nice. I get to the counter and there was someone there to greet me, very polite. I tell her my order is for here, and i go for my drink. The lemonade dispenser is not working. I go for rootbeer, it comes out clear. So i go for sprite and it was fine. I see that a booth is torn and has been taped over, it looks like its been that way for a while. I go sit down. The chair is missing a foot, so is the table, and from what I could see most of the tables needed to be wiped down. I wait for my order, and someone else brings me my order to go. No biggie. I reach in my bag, it's wet. The bottom is wet. They put a soaked bag that a pickle spear was in. It wasn't pickle juice. Melted ice maybe? The sandwich was great, chips were fine. All I can say is, I would recommend going through drive through. Really management, fix your store, it's falling apart!!
I ordered my food through drive through and waited over 30 min in line finally left without my food but why is this place considered fast food if it isn’t gonna be fast ?
I can deal with laziness but for a deli to be out of chicken for two weeks is just sad. I have places closer to work that I can go to but I like Schlotzsky's. This one however I will never return to.
Crappy service Employees don't understand English very well. The lady that takes orders is also the one that cooks. I saw another employee but he was out walking around doing other things. Messed up my order and was going to wait for my pizza to get cold while they made me another sandwich. I had to argue with her to make the whole order fresh so it would all be hot. I guess if I gave my order in Persian I would have been okay.
Are you kidding me? There's nothing original about the Schlotzsky's I ate last night! I've been eating at various locations since 1980 in Houston. That's 40 years folks! I didn't even recognize the look nor the taste. I doubt I'll go back. A bit of false advertising if you ask me. You either love it or leave it. You know my thoughts.
Do NOT place an online order here, the store is closed, has been locked out. Trying to get a refund 😡
Went to order at 8pm on a Saturday and they were closed even though they are supposed to be open until 9. When I pulled into the drive through the automated voice on the speaker said someone will take the order but no one did. I then drove to the window and there was an employee standing there but he said they were closed
The menu keeps shrinking. First they dropped the whole wheat bread option, then all chip flavors except plain and jalapeno. If the changes are limited to this franchisee I'll just eat elsewhere. If the changes are chain-wide I'll be done with Schlotzsky's. That hurts - been enjoying this chain since the 1970's.
Was trying to redeem coupon and the lady was to lazy to get qr scanner to work. Refused to do an alternate way of redeeming coupon. Proably will not be back.
My daughter and I drove out this location - taste buds ready for the French Dip Au Ju roast beef sandwich - We ordered, paid, and waited about 20 m.. when they arrived with our food the young lady apologized and said, I'm sorry, we dont have the Au Ju. I said that should be something you say before the sale is finalized. we've waited here for some time and now you're missing a key ingredient of our meal. That's like ordering a Pepperoni pizza, the pizza man delivering your cheese pizza and apologizing for not having pepperoni's!
I normally love Schlotzky's but this location was sub par for the entire experience. The staff barely spoke English which made it hard to communicate what I wanted to order. The sandwich I received was nothing like any of the sandwiches I've had at the other locations. It looked like they made it and then smashed it down. I ordered a pizza to go for later, and somehow that was sub part as well. Every other pizza I've had from Schlotzky's has had crust that was a thick as their normal sandwich bread which was a big draw for their pizzas. This one had crust so thin that it might as well have been a cracker. Overall I am disappointed by this Scholtzky's and will not be returning here again.
We used to go to this location at least once a week. After finding a dead fly in my salad this was the last time. After we pointed it out the one of the employees all we got was an "I'm sorry" and an explanation of how they manage flying pest. I could not stomach finishing my food so I threw it out. So-long Schlotzsky's.
The ac doesn't work the bread taste like sand paper and the manager that works weekend doesn't check his employees 🙄 😐 😒
Bought the Reuben - waaaaaayyy too much dijon mustard that overpowered the whole taste of the sandwich. Wife's sandwich was also dry. May have been yesterday's batch of bread. Cinnabon was stale. Drive thru coms didn't work. This site may need some more love before it can get more stars. The location is a little odd also as it is tucked away from the highway on the edge of the empty side of Main St.
On July 4, I ordered food from this store online. My order went through the system without any problem, and I got email notification that my order “ready to pickup at 7:21pm today”. But when I got there starvingly, I saw the store was actually closed on July 4, no food at all! What’s more disappointed, I called the store twice to ask for refund. The first time I talked with an employee from the store, he said he would talk with the store’s general manager to get this taken care of. Nothing happened. The second time I talked with the general manager, he said would refund for me. Nothing happened.
I just did a catering order here they left my ice and no pickles when i called yesterday to confirm my order they left me on hold and never came back Please do not use this schlotzskys for catering they are awful!@ We spent $200 on absolutely nothing. I am very disappointed.
What kind of place charges a digital service fee for placing an order through the app? -One that won't be in business for much longer! If you're not honest about extra fees upfront, it's called being dishonest and stealing money. You don't mention an extra fee up front when placing the order. You only find out about it after the order is complete through their app. I won't be back, there's a reason your parking lot is completely empty at lunch time. I used to be a frequent schlotzsky's customer. With rising food cost, and the fact that you're going to steal money from me, means you've lost a customer for life
The worker had mo customers service skills. Didn't say hello. Was sitting down at a table playing on his phone. When he should of been up cleaning tables, sweeping the floors, or mopping up the drink spilled on floor. Wasn't a great experience. Wanted to try something new. Wow I should of just gone to McDonald's the sandwich was ridiculously full of mayo Made sloppy! Huge disappointment for me and my family. Wish I could give a zero
The calzone is just a pizza folded in half. My son is a garbage disposal eats everything! Did not take a second bite of his grilled cheese. Overall as a family we ordered a few different things to try out. We are happy we did because we will not be coming back. Probably just should of ordered the Cinnabon, that would have probably been better than the food.
Most poorly run franchise I have ever experienced. Owner does not care about customers in the slightest. You can see this also reflects in his employees. Will not be returning.
The last two times I've been to this location, they have had to remake my sandwich. The first time they gave me something completely different from what I ordered (not sure how that even happens?), and this time my gluten free bun was still FROZEN. This will be our last visit to this location. It's unacceptable.
Please consider bringing cash or a pre-paid Schlotzsky's gift card with you to pay for your food here if you choose to come here (Store #1554). Yesterday evening at 5 pm, I came here as a walk-in to order some food and was told by the cashier that "The credit card reader isn't working, I'll need to run your card in the back" - I looked at the secure-chip reader on the counter and it appeared to be illuminated and operational. I didn't feel good about it, but I quickly swapped my debit card for my credit card with a much lower limit and handed it to him. He proceeded to take a minute and a half of alone time with it as a voice emanated from his phone - he told me that it was a webinar that he was attending without me prompting him with a question about it. I wasn't given a receipt until he handed me my food without one and I had to ask for one to be printed. I hung back for a minute and watched him interact with the next customer and he told him the same thing about the card reader, but that "Oh, you have a gift card, that should work fine on here". I wasn't sure if it was a Visa or Schlotzsky's card, but it seemed incongruous that the cashier would encourage using a partially operational device. I turned off access to my card as soon as I got back in my car. Caveat emptor / Buyer beware!
Came to the restaurant at 7:45pm and sign/online said closed at 9pm. Started to order sandwiches and the person asked if we just wanted it to go.. she was closing in 12 min.
Door & Google both say they close at 9 - drive through at 8:40 and it’s a bunch of people on their phones with an automated message saying they are closed. Either stay open until posted business hours or change the hours.
I would give a negative review if I could! Our food was okay. Some of the lettuce in my salad was wilted but what set it all off were the uninvited guest in the dining room. This place has mice! I saw one hanging out around the bottled soda machine. When I told the ladies works they didn't seem that concerned. I honestly felt they knew of the problem by the way they reacted. They didn't even offer to refund our money. What a shame!
I love Schlotsky's, but NOT this location. They had a new person on the register, which I understand will be slow because she's learning, but to have to repeat myself 5 times on what I want to order is ridiculous. And then when the food comes out, it is wrong! When I told the person that brought it out that it was wrong, I get, "No speaka English". To her credit, she did go get the manager and send him out to correct the problem. When they did get the correct food to us, it was way overcooked and my husband's sandwich 'tasted funny'...so funny that within the hour after eating it, he was in the bathroom getting sick...not funny anymore! At the drink fountain, we had to go through three different flavors to actually get something instead of straight water. While we were waiting on our food to come out correct, I visited the ladies room and, surprise, surprise, it was filthy with NO toilet paper and NO paper towels. Take my advice and DON"T go to this location of Schlotsky's.
I am so tired of ordering food to get home and it not be what I ordered. Since I picked up on the way home as usual I live 20 minutes away otherwise I wouldve taken back for refund. I ordered a Southwestern Chicken salad. It didn't have the corn black bean mix it didn't have cheese and no croutons.
Horrible experiences, not once but multiple times. Drive through, Inside, Door dash it doesn't matter they are guaranteed to F your order up!
Ordered a supreme pizza in the drivethru after 6 p.m. No one else in line or behind me. It was barely cooked. The menu said it was 10.99. When I got my receipt, I had been charged 11.19. I asked about why it was such an off number. She said "I don't know. Maybe they forgot to change the sign." I asked for parmesan cheese and she said they didn't carry it!!! Not sure she even understood me because there was such a language barrier. Didn't really understand English. I won't go there again. HUGE WASTE OF MONEY. Wound up throwing the pizza away.
This Schlotzsky's is terrible. The first time I went, they closed 30 minutes early for no apparent reason and just said "were closed" when I asked about the hours. The second time, they forgot my soup. The third time, when I was pulling my sandwich out of the bag, it wasn't wrapped and half of it fell out instantly. This location clearly struggles and nobody cares.
Where do I start. The guy behind the counter was as helpful as a stump. It took everything he had to put 2 cups and bags of chips on the counter. Went to get our drinks and there was know ice, turned and asked about the ice and he informed he doesn't have ice till March. Duh! wouldn't you tell the customer that before you buy a drink. So I filled my glasses with half and half tea and neither one was sweet. Went up there to get some sugar they had NONE so he had to put some in a container from the bucket they use for the container. When our meal came we asked if we could get a few pickle spears and he said we don't have any. I looked at him and asked what do you have and his answer was not much. I don't like reviews because most are done out of anger. But really if your going to have a Business wouldn't you want to take care of the customer so they will come back. Who ever the owner is you have a lot of work to do with your employees. Signed Disappointed ☹️
$4.99 Mac and cheese Would you want your toddler to eat this? Cooked in aluminum ? Needless to say we got up, left our food on the table and went somewhere else to eat. Service was less than adequate. I use to love Schlotsskys when are they going to wake up and provide healthier choices. It is not what it use to be I doubt we will ever go back
Showed up at 8pm on a Sunday. Both online and on the door it is posted the business closes at 9pm. The doors to the lobby were locked and the one and only employee in the restaurant came and said he was done for the night and they were closed. Please post accurate business hours so people do not make unnecessary trips!
Worst Schlotzky’s location I’ve ever seen. Customer service was horrible. Employees seemed annoyed with us coming in to order with them. Not friendly. The whole place was filthy. Not a clean table and the whole place was in disarray. The whisk for the tea (I assume that was its purpose) was just laying on the counter by the soda machine. Employee’s clothes were dirty. Looked like they never washed them. Just a gross store from top to bottom.
Waited several minutes to get noticed despite no one else in line. Only 2 people working the entire restaurant. Ordered a turkey sandwich and BBQ pizza and got handed 2 ham and corn beef sandwiches slathered in mustard. Out of most drinks. Store was open but lights outside in the sign appeared to be broken and branding was not illuminated. Tables in the dining room were knocked over for some reason. Customers expect better. Not planning to return.
