Opinions de White Rhino Dallas
Stopped by here on a recommendation from hotel staff near by- it was very lively on a Thursday evening but also big enough location that we were able to be seated in the back since we had small kids with us. We got the appetizer sampler which was good. The taquitos & quesadilla was really good. The chips & salsa were really good as well. Shrimp tacos are a must! I didn’t catch the server or managers name but they both were phenomenal! Coming from the restaurant industry- they were prime example of good service! Oh and the margaritas were amazing as well!
If you're looking for a quick, delicious, and high-quality Mexican lunch, look no further than Vidorra. The prices are fair for the quality and portions, and the entire experience makes us want to come back for dinner soon. Highly, highly recommend! Rating: 5/5 Stars
had such a great experience here! The food was fresh, flavorful, and came out quickly. Everything was cooked perfectly and you can tell they really care about quality. The atmosphere was welcoming and clean, which made it even better. I especially want to mention the manager, Alice — she was extremely sweet and truly went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. Her kindness and attention to detail really stood out. I’ll definitely be coming back!
Mike was great! The loaded fries were a 10 out of 10 that he suggested and the frozen margarita with the grande shot meltdown was delicious! I will definitely be back! Ask for Mike at the bar
We’re not from TX but we make a point of stopping by Vidorra every single time we go. Our most recent visit was when my parents visited us from South Africa. The food and drinks are amazing, but what makes us come back every time is the staff! Just an amazing experience from the moment you walk in and I cannot recommend it enough!
Alice that’s my new friend Fun atmosphere honestly a 10/10 experience! Margarita Day made it even better 🍹 The manager Alice was amazing and really brought the whole vibe together. Give her a raise ASAP! Ask for her every time!!!!!
Our server Jackie was an absolute doll!! We adore her already. And Allan, the manager, was so gracious! The tacos and guac 🤌🏼!! The margaritas! The atmosphere! Everything was first rate. Highly recommend!
We brought the family for brunch on a Saturday. The food was absolutely delicious. Our server Mia was so pretty, sweet, friendly and quick! We will definitely be back soon!
Vidorra in Deep Ellum was a blast! The food is always hot, fresh and tasty and the drinks are delicious. My bartender Amy was so sweet and fun the entire time and constantly checked on me! Never had to wonder when she’d return. Ask for Amy when you go and you’ll definitely have a great experience and maybe even leave with a new friend!
Vidorra in Dallas, Deep Ellum location did not disappoint! As soon as I walked in I was greeted with big smiles by the host and the manager, I believe his name was Jose. Since I was by myself I just asked to sit at the bar. Not only my bartender but my server Stephanie was very helpful with the menu. She recommended the sirloin burrito. The steak in the burrito was juicy tender and delicious! Generous amount of food and an endless chips and salsa. Stephanie also recommended the churros for desert and that was a great choice. Not to soft, a little bit of a crunch completed with vanilla ice cream, chocolate syrup and strawberries. It was perfect! I loved that I always had a full glass of ice cold water for the my thirst. Very attentive! Even as I paid my bill and left I was greeted out with all smiles by all the staff. When it comes to Hospitality I’d say the managers/trainers are teaching well. My overall experience at Vidorra was definitely a 10/10! Food was great and Service was definitely great!
The food is delicious and the atmosphere is very welcoming. The waiter who attended us (Javier) is really kind and attentive. Would definitely recommend this place for going out with friends and family.
Every time we visit from Houston the food is magnificent, drinks are amazing and the customer service is always great. Shoutout to Jose for showing great hospitality. Hopefully, they will put a location in Houston TX
Every time I'm in Dallas, I have to come visit Vidorra again. Every meal I've had there has been amazing. Great food and drinks. I still dream about the green salsa! Recently revisited and it was just as amazing as it was the last time I was there in 2024. Special thanks to our server Rodolfo, who was incredibly attentive and had great suggestions. Thank you for always providing a great experience, and I look forward to the next time I get to enjoy your margaritas and delicious food!
Guillermo is one of the best bartenders I’ve ever had the pleasure of being served by. From the moment you sit down, his positive attitude and great sense of humor makes my experience here feel welcoming fun. He has an incredible sense of urgency behind the bar—no matter how busy things get! Guillermo knows exactly what he’s doing. Ask him to make you a michelada, his is the best! Hands down 👏🏻
First time going here and it was AMAZING. didn’t disappoint, everyone was so sweet and welcoming. Liv was so helpful and sweet and attentive. We never felt like we were bothering anyone or didnt belong. We came here after we were denied across the street at Palma. Thank you vidorra staff for making our first experience with our friends after a long drive after church so welcoming. The food was so fresh and authentic you can tell the kitchen puts love into it! And our drinks! Chefs kiss! It didn’t taste like a watered down margarita it was flavorful, fruity, with that small hint of tequila that’s not too little or too much. We can’t wait to come back and eat here. From a group of servers and bartenders thank you LIV for being so humble, kind, patient, sweet and attentive.
I had an amazing experience at Vidorra, and a huge part of that was thanks to Justina! From the moment we sat down, she was welcoming, attentive, and genuinely kind. She made sure our drinks were always full, checked in at the perfect times, and gave great recommendations from the menu. You can tell she really knows her stuff and cares about making sure guests have a great time. Even when the restaurant got busy, she stayed upbeat and professional, never making us feel rushed or forgotten. That kind of service really stands out. If you’re going to Vidorra, definitely ask for Justina—she’ll make your experience even better!
From the moment we walked in, the vibe was unmatched — great music, beautiful ambiance, and the perfect energy. The drinks were top-tier (Spirit Forward and perfectly crafted), and the food was Absolutely amazing. Everything came out fresh, flavorful, and picture-perfect. But what truly made the experience was Mike. He was attentive, personable, and made sure we had everything we needed before we even had to ask. It’s rare to find service like that anymore in Dallas. We’ll definitely be back. If you go, ask for Mike — you won’t regret it!
We had an absolutely wonderful experience at the rooftop, and it was all thanks to Tania and Breyeigh! From the moment we arrived, they made us feel like VIPs. Their attentiveness, warm smiles, and genuine care made all the difference. They checked in on us throughout the entire time, made sure we had everything we needed, and went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable and happy. It’s rare to find service this good — they truly took care of us in every way. If you’re visiting the rooftop, you’re in great hands with these two. We’ll definitely be back!
Came in for the first time today. I love the plants and vibe of the coffee shop it’s so peaceful. The Staff is so friendly and kind and the coffee is delicious ! I’m new to Texas and they really made my day today with a warm welcome . 10/10 experience definitely my new fav coffee shop in Dallas .
If you like matcha, get the strawberry pistachio. I also got ham & cheese croissant, which was divine. I would also recommend the dragon fruit refresher, it was nice and light - not too sweet. They have plenty of spots to study or work available either upstairs, downstairs, or in the patio area.
Great spot for getting work done in a cozy old house style coffee house in the popular State and Thomas uptown area. Although service could be quicker and the food is pretty good not great. Menu could use a few more items, but you can’t ask too much from a coffee house. The layout is generous, with plenty of seating options indoors outdoors and balcony seating. Do recommend visiting and experiencing this unique old cottage turned coffee house.
Wonderful coffee shop with lots of seating upstairs and downstairs. The patio and Balcony seating was very nice. The coffee was very flavorful. I had a vanilla hazelnut iced latte with sugar free syrups and cold foam. It was perfect. My husband had a regular hot latte and he said that his coffee was not hot enough. But overall we highly recommend this place.
I’ve stopped in a few times during the Movies in the Park nights just to use the restroom and always noticed how nice this place is. It’s a chill, welcoming coffee shop with great vibes—clean, well-maintained, and busy even outside of the movie crowd. Most recently, I decided to actually hang out for a bit before the movie started, and I’m so glad I did. I was greeted and served by Elliott, and let me just say—Elliott was amazing! Their energy was so warm and positive, and they made a great impression right away. I ordered a drink and couple of waters and a chocolate chip cookie—10/10 all around. Unlike some coffee shops, this one genuinely felt inviting. Thank you, White Rhino, for the great customer service, awesome employees, and for being so gracious with us moviegoers just popping in.
I was visiting from out of state, and I stumbled upon this coffee shop since it was near my hotel! The cashier was super friendly. i didn't know what to order, and she recommended the Snickerdoodle! I also paired it with a chocolate chip cookie! I'm sorry I forgot your name, but thanks for the V-Day Card! I wish I knew my Valentine's address, but this will definitely put a smile on her face!
We had an incredible experience enjoying the delicious traditional breakfast and the French toast and coffee. We sat upstairs on the outdoor patio and had it almost to ourselves and our two doggies. It’s very dog friendly, very clean, super calm vibes on a quiet and nice street in Uptown. Also, considering other breakfast or brunch places in Uptown the quality of the food is very good for the prices in the area. We walked around the neighborhood and the Griggs park with our dogs afterwards and had a wonderful morning. We’ll be back! Thank you!
Closest thing to coffee paradise in the city! White Rhino is revolutionizing coffee shops across the Dallas area. I've been to the Waxahachie location and enjoyed my visit there. My girlfriend and I decided to try out this new location in uptown and it's my new favorite! I was thoroughly impressed with absolutely everything going on at White Rhino. Stellar coffee, comfortable lounging, and a quality menu! They also allow dogs and provide doggie treats. We went in the morning (right before peak time). I recommend going in the morning since the parking gets a little tight due to the location being located in a residential area. The staff was very friendly and patient with us. We decided to build our own scramble with mushrooms, roasted red peppers, spinach and breakfast potato toes - YUM!! They give a variety of options so I highly recommend to build your own scramble. My girlfriend ordered a matcha drink and I got the Whole Latte Love with honey & lavender. They provide a small iron skillet for your scramble so it makes it easy to carry and keeps it a bit warm! The couches were also pretty comfortable and makes a great area for a study date or meet up area! Everything White Rhino offers you can tel they make it with a Whole Latte Love :) My girlfriend also has a few thoughts on this White Rhino location and our experience as a whole: "I have been to other White Rhino locations, but I had never been to this location in Dallas. I have to say, it is my favorite so far! I have always loved the coffee but have especially been impressed with the food menu. You can tell they put a lot of thought into the menu and the food is always great quality! It is rare to find that at a coffee shop. I ordered an iced matcha to drink, which was pre-sweetened (I usually prefer unsweetened matcha, but it was still a good quality so I went for it!) and then we shared the egg skillet dish with potatoes, spinach, red pepper, and mushrooms. It was delicious! We enjoyed the bountiful comfy seating on the second floor and had the best morning together. I highly recommend this spot if you want a nice place to meet a friend or have a study sesh!"
My sister and I had an incredible time at the White Rhino on Thomas Avenue. To be 100% honest we went to three different shops before deciding to order here. This coffee shop not only looks beautiful but has cozy atmosphere. Kayla went above and beyond our expectations of service. You can just see the joy and love she has for what she does. ✨☕️🪴 we will definitely return here! P. S food and coffee 💯
Coffees (lattes) are a bit sweet but not bad. Food was actually pretty good. Tacos were actual tacos not like from other places that have them sitting around. Spicy chicken sandwich was 5 stars. I could see parking being tough but the seating in and out and upstairs is great and worth the trouble!
Perfect place to relax and enjoy your day. The sugar free snickerdoodle latte was amazing, can’t recommend it enough. The peach blossom tea was delightful, although served extremely hot so be cautious of that. The atmosphere is a whole vibe with LOTS of sitting areas both indoor and outdoor. Customer service was top notch as well.
GREAT STUDY/WORK SPOT! Came here during finals week and loved the atmosphere!! Their toasted coconut coffee is not as good at this White Rhino as it is in the Bishop Arts location. Other than that, the WIFI always worked. They have a second floor which was super cozy and my go to spot for working. Definitely recommend this place!!
Such a cute little coffee House. It does take a bit to get the drinks but they make each one fresh as it is being ordered. The view is perfect whether you are inside enjoying the hustle and music or outside on the patio -upstairs or down, you can’t go wrong. And I love the Bible verse on each cup holder.
Tried the snickerdoodle latte and sweet potato hash for brunch which was great!! Snickerdoodle latte was okay but the sweet potato hash was definitely unique and tasty!! Great place to come and study/work. Second floor is more quiet but the high seats dont have a back rest which can be uncomfortable for some people. The atmosphere is cozy and cute. Parking can be difficult if you come at a busy time. Street parking is available down one block.
I went out with some friends to talk business and our companies. As soon as we walked in, the environment was nice — smelled good, good vibes, everything. I ordered the enchiladas because they looked amazing when they came out. But listen… 😒 Them enchiladas were trash. No flavor at all. Just nasty. You would think this would be a solid spot to order enchiladas, but nah. Save yourself the headache and don’t get them. Atmosphere was cool, food? Missed the mark. ❌
The food was okay, for $55 dollars, there were more vegetables than meat on the skillet. For them to not be so busy, the service was horrible. We were there to celebrate my nieces birthday and it was not a memorable birthday dinner. The waitress was more worried about taking away empty plates than filling up or empty cups.
Yesterday was amazing the staff then were perfect, coffee was perfect! However unfortunately today our experience left us disappointed. The cappuccino yesterday was creamy with a perfect balance of flavour and today it was served in a crushed takeaway cup with the milk burnt tasting like watery instant coffee. Fatima wasn’t very nice and I don’t think she liked when we ordered the bacon for our breakfast. Also when I went to put the return our dirty dishes I had to ask 3 times for her to tell me oh there’s a bucket over there if it’s full just use the other one, so I had to re arrange the tray and thankfully I was helped by a customer. To reiterate the entire team yesterday were amazing and it made it feel like the coffee shop was alive, today it felt like I got a tour through a cemetery!! 🪦
Lukewarm weak American coffee- could drink it straight away it was so cold (and I have mine black!!). ‘Breakfast sandwich’ was a McDs B&E McMuffin with some ‘special sauce’ that was thousand island dressing and for the privilege of getting up and getting it for ourselves- add a tip! AVOID.
Ordered Matcha Latte. Tasted horrible with artificial sweetner and watered down Matcha with no actual Matcha flavor. Usually I am skeptical ordering Matcha lattes at random places, but they have the whole matcha sieve, bamboo whisk and pour in the display. I fell for it but it was only for display purposes. Lol.
