Best El pollo Loco location in a 25 mile radius. Watched my friend try to eat 10 hot peppers off the salsa bar but fail, then he mistakenly touched his eyes. Good times!

Great chicken that’s really good and affordable the pollo bowls are feeling like it’s the perfect amount of food to get you full but happy full you know when your like I’m hungry and then you come here and try the pollo bowl for the first time I kid you not your gonna be really happy and will make pollo loco a place you come and eat very often.

This is my favorite location when I want to eat at Pollo Loco. I’ve gotten to know a few of the employees and every time I’m there, they’re always very friendly.

Great food Double protein salad it's really good. And Manager Magda was really helpful and caring for every details in my salad.

Very friendly staff, this is my go to place for some good Pollo plus I love the creamy cilantro sauce they have here.

Really nice people the food its great if your cook is luis mena. I try the chicken when hes not the cook and different locations and im not a fan or they overcook it or its dry or not cook enough.

This particular location of El Pollo Loco is so on the ball it is unreal. Every single time I walk in there or anyone walks in there for that matter they always greet you and always say hello and it's not just one person that does it it's several. Their food is always on point perfectly cooked and packaged very well and neat. They take time to ensure that you're very happy before you leave especially when you're doing take out. For example tonight when I got my three piece meal, I ordered all chicken breast and they felt that one of the chicken breast was not as big as it should have been so they showed me it before finishing packing it up and ended up giving me a thigh as well. I'm extremely pleased with this location I always have been and honestly I'm sure I always will be.

Came here with four adults and a child & ordered the 16 piece family meal with four large sides plus a cheese quesadilla. The order was ready quickly. Stuffed ourselves into a booth with a highchair at the end for the kid and dove in. Everyone ate their fill and we still had a couple of pieces of chicken leftover. Food was hot and tasty. It was a Sunday around 3:30, so just a couple of other folks there. Clean bathrooms. Music was a best of the 50s mix that was low key and kinda fun.

Elie has been great the last few times coming in when I feel like the world has lacked in the service industry the last few years. She has definitely stood out. With nice atmosphere- Very clean with soft fun music that does not hurt either.

I had a great and easy experience here. using my new app was great! food is delicious and the assistant manager , I believe her name was Arianna, was awesome. she was watching every order and checking on each guest! super happy face! thanks!

But most importantly, they’ve worked hard at constantly wiping the tables down. Glad to see the improvements. ======= Great tasting food, i eat at this chain when possible as its affordable, great quality, and tasty. I usually go for one of the $5 combos as it is the right proportion and it comes with a drink. The only downside at this particular location is the cleanliness of the tables in the dining area. Since i have eaten here more than 4 times now in a short span i can say it is not just a fluke day.

This El Pollo Loco has the most congenial and prompt service in Dana Point. The food order is always correct, bagged in your presence, and served warm for take out! Have frequented this establishment for many years. Great Job!

This place is cheap and has many options. Fresh ingredients and you can see the chefs grilling the chicken right in front of you. Comforting to know that there is a Mexican fast food place that actually cares about the freshness and the quality of their food. Good job.

I love a place I can go to and be able to change an item to what I want to eat, without getting that weird look.

The tostada bowls are so good, and you can eat the bowl! How environmentally friendly can you get? 😁 Very good chicken, and a good variety of sides and salsas. Can't decide? Right there is also Pick-Up Stix for Chinese, Subway for sandwiches, and an Albertson's market if steaks suddenly sound good. You can grab a coffee at Starbucks, hit Game Stop for.something fun to play after dinner, and have a great family night 😁

The Ocean Ranch El Pollo Loco is a superior store. Clean, neat, friendly, helpful with the normal fare. Definitely my Mexican food stop.

They do a really great job if you're on the Run. The salads are always fresh and the meat is always tender and delicious

Great restaurant, very clean and organized. The only reason I give the food 4 stars is because of the portion. The food is very tasty but the portions are microscopic. I ordered a half chicken but the portion was very small. Most of the chicken was bone and skin. Not a lot of meat. With the same price you can get more food else where.

Atmosphere, needs improvement! Outdated, however functional. The new chick, shrimp Tostada was very delicious.

Great restaurant, very clean and organized. The only reason I give the food 4 stars is because of the portion. The food is very tasty but the portions are microscopic. Friendly service. Food was okay, but nothing great. The price was very good.

Food is inconsistent. I noticed if I eat there, the food is hot, but if I get through the drive through, its cold and old. For a chain is above average because I like grilled chicken. If there was a charro chicken near by I woud eat there every week.

Tried to be friendly but the inability to listen and not rush you out is what gives them a 3star and then to blame a customer for not knowing the menu and the pricing off the top of their heads is very unprofessional. From my experience in customer service a customer is always right. I appreciate the thought of keeping your cool but really out of work on that communication.

Got 2 burritos, queso Blanco and a Chipotle. Iam not please how the burrito tasted, 12/16 5:30-6:08 shift.

I was there 11--8-18 GOLDEN LANTERN... Martin was my driveup server. WORST SERVICE EVER! Was acting like I was bothering him. Didn't even come to the window until like 5 minutes.. VERY RUDE!

They didn’t even wrap my Chicken avocado quesadilla they just stuffed it into a bag a gave it to me cold no cheese at all as well

I was using a coupon but inadvertently pushed the wrong button to one that was for the internet. I asked for the manager to help and she would not honor my 5.00 off on a 43.00 order because it was my fault I pushed the wrong button.

Horrible!! Don’t get me wrong, I’m a total El Pollo Loco fan, especially for the double chicken tostada. However, this particular location was horrible! The food was just barely better than the service. The woman taking my order in the drive thru had a very thick accent so we were having a little trouble understanding one another, I ordered a double chicken tostada with no beans (I’m allergic) and rice only, and that was it. She wasn’t understanding my no beans, she kept saying “yes beans” so I finally just said you know what let me pull forward to the window to communicate this. Keep in mind there was no one in front of me or behind me at the time, I was the only customer. So when I get to the window I said “did you get the no beans all rice instead?” She says “you want beans?” I said “no, I’m allergic to beans I only want rice”, finally she got it and radios back to the cook speaking in Spanish and then looks at me with a “ugh” sigh over the radio, like I was asking so much by requesting no beans. So then she just hands me the credit card machine for me to pay, I said wait and show her my phone as I’m using my app, she once again lets out a big sigh like I’m completely inconveniencing her and asking so much of her! Then she again hands me the credit card machine and as I’m paying she puts her elbow on the counter, rests her head on her hand and literally starts shaking her head at me!! I get my food and not only did it not taste fresh, there was hardly any chicken (and I just paid for a double chicken and had but maybe 6 pieces of chicken total), there was no rice, luckily there was no beans, but I was given a tostada bowl with lettuce and 6 pieces of chicken, no pico, no nothing! It was terrible!! And the rude, condescending, unfriendly worker was even worse than the food was! I will NEVER go to this location ever again!!
