The best coffee shop within 50 miles. You get all of the decor and experience of a locally-owned rochester coffee shop in Dansville.
So cute, so trendy. I can't believe I just found out about it. I can't wait to go back! Fast forward 2/2021. A simple hello makes a world of difference. One ⭐.

Fab latte. Quick service. Clean facilities. Not a ton to eat for breakfast on a Sunday morning, but I didn’t come to eat— just to get my caffeine on. Would come back for sure!
Love the coffee and speciality drinks awesome service and quality not junk n loaded with sugar ect..no what there doing...if could rate 5 stars...as good as Starbucks without $$$$$
Small coffee shop with friendly staff, excellent service, and while their menu is small, its still great. Personally recommend the smoothies.
All the girls are always polite. Quick service always. I don't have to ask for my drink. They automatically know what I want and how to fix it.
The Sugar Bowl is the best coffee shop in town!! Everyone is always super friendly and it’s a great place to meet with friends for breakfast!
My favorite place to get coffee and drinks. Love the staff and the quality of their products. I try to make it in at least once a week, more if I can! And their breakfast sandwiches are PHENOMENAL, out of this world, amazing, DELICIOUS!
Love it here- my go to coffee place
Generous helpings of awesome (Purity brand) ice cream. Good value and they threw in waffle comes for free. Not sure if they do this all the time or if we came on a special day. Their frappuccino made with sea salt caramel ice cream looked really good too. The barista was very friendly and helpful- she told us how to find lots of lesser known waterfalls in the area. Best ice cream shop I've been to in quite a while.
Really nice and clean place where we grabbed a quick breakfast. Service was quick, and the food was very good. Coffee was excellent also.
I got a muffin and a sausage breakfast sandwich and they were both amazing.

This is the best place ever! The only problem I have is that one of the workers didn't ask what size I wanted (for a sundae) and just immediately assumed I wanted a large 😂 but I ate the entire thing, so I think they could just read my mind. So come here if you want your food made by Charles Xavier. Also, they're should be more chairs outside of the building, I had to sit far away from it because there was other people :(
Wonder food with great fast service and so many smiles! The coffee is amazing and my kiddo loves their strawberry lemonade with boba! I will be getting my coffee here from now on!
Fun place right in Dansville. This is actually three restaurants in one general space, but we only visited the Sugarbowl. Everything was great that our group tried and we went back three times in two days, we enjoyed so much. My favorite was the golden milk tea, which is now a new obsession of mine.
Stopped here on a road trip. Great vibe in here. Clean, well decorated, friendly staff. The lattes we got were delicious. They have so many flavor choices, which is one of my favorite things, having lots of flavor choices. Would definitely visit again if I was in town.
Iced vanilla latte was delicious and made very quickly! Arrived right before closing so unfortunately not too many pastries to pick from.
We always enjoy stopping in for a coffee treat and a sandwich when in town. Quaint, nice atmosphere. Right on Main Street. Historical feel. The staff is always warm and welcoming.
I live an hour away. I just wanted food for the road. I googled quick breakfast near me and this spot came up so I went. So glad I did, and I will come back when I’m in the area. Great breakfast sandwich, hit the spot!
Lovely place! So glad i had some time in my schedule to stop by and do some work. Staff was so friendly and the drinks and baked goods were fantastic! Hoping i can frequent Sugar Bowl again soon!!

Great service, good coffee.
Amazing breakfast sandwich!
Bueno
Really great coffee and friendly service...The Coffee Cup was a great breakfast next door...and Tazza is great for dinner. Best place in town!
Lmfao...pretty hilarious how they never put me back on the schedule!! Ah well, they lost a damn good worker!! #ibustedmybutt #iswept #imopped #idusted
Good espresso, latte, & desserts. Selection of desserts was not very big.
Very nice service. Such a cute little bakery.
A little pricey but the coffee is good.
Vegan milks, good coffee, and friendly staff.
Very yummy especially the smoothie . Price came to about $20-$23 for me and my mom. We had to wait about 30 minutes for two bagel breakfast sandwiches. I would come here again just not everyday.
It’s a lovely place…. So calm and beautiful town. I took a Ice Mocha which is perfect (not too sweet…. Which I like).

Love the atmosphere of this little café, the service was good as were the food and drink. Would love to see tapioca pearls in the bubble tea if that hasn’t already been added since my last visit!

Good barista coffee, terrible service.
Trying to be something it isnt
The service was ok the music was too loud food was ok
Good coffee but recently noticed coffee taste has changed a bit. The workers could be more friendly and welcoming.
To be fair, we came to this restaurant during the Sunday brunch crush. However, the food service took over an hour. A customer had come in after us, was seated, served, and left before we even got our food. The atmosphere was nice, but clearly, the popularity of the establishment outstripped their ability to cope. The room we were in was not full and no one was waiting for a table. If I come here again will shoot for a weekday.

Good coffee, but the pastries always taste fried and greasy. Doesn't always feel welcoming to all people.
Not good got an latte during i like my drinks strong but this was way to strong and I got a sticky bun and it was still uncooked in the middle and my wife got a hot chocolate and you could taste is milk and very little hot chocolate
What was once a great experience has slowly become anything but. While the coffee and lattes remain great, the food preparation is horrible. Portions are paper thin and sometimes meat is not cooked completely. This place can get back to 5 stars... simply train the food preparation staff better and the owner needs to replace the current Sugar Bowl manager.

Terrible food and pricey
Ok
Expensive
The coffee is alright, but nobody there wears a mask? Like, it's not suggested, it's THE LAW. It's the NY mandate. Didn't even have a mask hanging from their face or anything, just no mask at all. I just walked right back out the door.
Absolutely hate it, prices r too high, coffee is cold just no...
Went in at 2pm for some coffee, treats looked great, coffee smelled good but no one came out to help us. After 5 minutes of waiting, we left.
Hate this place and everythig about it. I personally go to livonia and have friends that love dansville and the things that are there. Then i hear that the dansville girls and wayland girl that work at this place have been saying all types of mean stuff about livonia WHILE ON THEIR SHIFTS!!! No one from livonia wants to go to this place, not after being disrespected by teenage girls.
Ordered a simple breakfast sandwich. My order was left in the back and forgotten about once they got busy. Waited nearly an hour for it to finally be brought out to me…cold. Better and more attentive coffee shops in the area than this one. (Homegrown and McFaddens are better)
Kitchen is shared with diner next door, so our takeout order took 30 minutes. A customer walked into the kitchen holding a baby in an effort to get their food sooner. Music playing had explicit language that seems inappropriate for a coffee shop. Breakfast sandwich was good, coffee was terrible.
Whilst they have a very well decorated and clean establishment, the service was not great. The girl who waited on us had no bit of personality, very monotone, and we had seemed to bugging her more than anything. We had ordered three sandwiches, and three coffees. We waited over 45 MINUTES to receive our food, with not a simple “thank you for your wait, or sorry about the wait” and to top that off I had a hair in my coffee, another member of my party had fuzzies in her cream cheese on her sandwich. As being a restaurant owner myself I would be embarrassed by this kind of service. I had high hopes and have heard so many good things about this place but I will not be coming back. If you need some tips or trainings with customer service I’d be more that willing to assist you. Best of luck.
Some of the worst service I’ve ever experienced. The girl at the counter was too busy staring into nothing or into her iPhone to provide any sort of service at all. She spoke barely audibly and seemed confused. We ordered a bagel sandwich, two coffees, and a cinnamon roll. Upon taking the order we were given the coffees but not the cinnamon roll sitting right in the display. We then proceeded to wait 20 minutes for a bagel with some cream cheese and cucumbers on it. There was one other couple in the restaurant already eating their food… during this time the girl stared off into her phone or the wall and never bothered to look to see what was taking so long or even say “it’ll be just a minute sorry for the wait”, nope just totally oblivious to life. I had to remind her about the cinnamon roll or else we would have paid extra for nothing. When I worked food service that sort of thing would get you written up or fired, and I’m not even some crotchety Karen, just ANY sort of positive interaction would have made that experience better. Pretty sure judging by how long it took to assemble a simple sandwich, the cook is probably just as clueless as the girl at the counter.
We have loved this place for a long time and drive a good distance for the coffee and breakfast sandwiches. However, the last two times we came, we were told (after waiting in line for some time and looking at the clearly displayed chalkboard menu of breakfast sandwiches) that the person who makes the food had left and they couldn't serve us breakfast. This has been a disappointing waste of our time each time, and we hope that the situation improves, as we are now hesitant to return at all.
