Yummmm!!!!! And the smells of birria con consume were tempting! We asked the folks eating it and they said it was better than it smelled! The ribs were better than any around!!!! I can’t wait to come back so we can try more! We had tacos today, we were only looking for a snack this time! They gave us a grilled corn on the cob as they pulled it off the grill so we can sample…. Even that was superb!!!!

I knew this place was 5 stars as soon as they brought out the free guac and salsa. Thennnnn when we tasted the guac - so freakin good! In fact, I couldn’t get my family to stop touching the food so I could get a pic, so here we are. Enjoying the hell out of this guac. The meal that came later was also amazing & perfect portions. Staff is very kind and the view on the back patio is lovely.

Casa Azule in Davenport on highway 1 North of Santa Cruz CA. This cozy eatery is just across the road from the Pcific ocean! The Best tacos in Davenport! They taste just like just like Abuela used to make! Shrimp, chicken and pastor are our favorites. Their enchiladas are so yummy and take a little more time to make but it’s worth it. Chips and homemade salsa is brought to your table. They have beer. You can feel the love they put into this little place and their food. Clean establishment and clean bathrooms. All across the road from the Pacific Ocean. Casa Azule is worth trying!

Delicious food, extensive menu, open early to late - I can’t rate Costa Azul highly enough. Provides Indoor or outdoor dining, take-out, and a great view of the Pacific. A wonderful addition to the little coastal hamlet of Davenport. Try the really tasty variety of tacos, like I have, or the scrumptious chili relleno. Breakfast, lunch, dinner - proprietor Mel provides it all!

Very nice place for good lunch on a highway one ride. We had the Quessedias with Shrimps as a mondays special offer. It was very tasty, cheesy with the Shrimps nice and juicy. Definitely a recommendation!

Food was very fresh and delicious. $2 tacos on Tuesday. Water had lots of citrus in it which was real tasty, free coffee with meals, chips and salsa tasted really fresh and homemade. Chips were served hot out of the oven and included with the meal. Best Mexican food around.

Customer service was a bit mid but man that bacon breakfast burrito surprised the hella out of me 10/10 and I have high standards. Super standard Mexican pricing and top tier burritos, haven’t tried anything else but I would. I don’t review things usually but that breakfast burrito is for sure worth talking about.

The four of us stopped here for an early dinner tonight and were blown away by the delicious food. I had the spicy shrimp burrito and had planned to eat only half but it was so good I could not stop myself and ate the entire burrito. The shrimp was tender and fresh and wonderfully seasoned (and very spicy). The burrito had the perfect balance of beans and spicy rice. My husband got a fish taco and an al pasteur taco and loved them. Our 21 year old got a steak burrito made with fresh, tender steak--he liked it so much he did not want to share it. And his friend got a BLT which he reported was fantastic. The cashier and her daughter were really nice, too. We are on their large, sheltered patio. We will definitely be returning and plan to make this our pit stop between the SF Bay Area and Santa Cruz.

We came here for Taco Tuesday and it was amazing! They did not skimp on the meat and the flavor was great. Also it was extremely cheap. Would highly recommend you stop by if you're in the area.

Enjoyed a beautiful fall afternoon on the patio. Delicious sauces and sides with my quesadilla. My hub enjoyed his chicken burrito. Now that they have breakfast we’ll e back earlier in the day next time.

Delicious! Had things on the menu I've never had like the Abogada - shredded beef stewed in something amazing. All of the meats were rich and flavorful. Very good salsas. Restaurant if very clean. They have 1$ tacos on Tuesdays which is an insane deal! Highly recommend.

Surprised by the high quality of the food here. Had the chicken fajitas. The corn tortillas were very good. They included a large portion of actual avocado. The meat itself seemed to be higher quality than other nearby similar restaurants. Nice ambience nearby the ocean. Quite happy with the full experience.

Astounding fresh salsas - we tried 4 different ones and they were all unique with a variety of heat. The pastor was savory and Inhad a hard time keeping the rest of the family from poaching my tacos. 🌮 The shrimp were generously sized and portioned as well a tender in a classic garlic butter sauce. We arrived hungry and cold after checking out the elephant seals at Ano Nuevo and we left full and warm. Really a surprising find here in Davenport! 😋

The food is so tasty here. I love this little place. The corn tortillas are made fresh daily and you can tell. The fish tacos are to die for. I get cravings for them. The service is heartfelt and greatly appreciated. The location is right across the street from Davenport Beach so enjoy either inside or outside seating!

I love this place. I just wish they'd update their hours and stick to them. It's mostly hit or miss whether they're closed these days.

There are music videos playing on the TV indoors, there's a beautiful sunny patio, indoor seating, and seating by the windows where you can see the ocean and watch the sunset. The food is delicious and authentic. They have American food and Mexican. I ordered a side of fries, and they were piping hot. You could tell they were made fresh! I also ordered 2 Sopes, which were sooo delicious. My only complaint is that the Carne Asada was fatty and chewy. Their salsa varieties are smoky and flavorful. Overall, this is such a cute restaurant to go to or to grab food from before heading down to the beach. Just be sure to throw away ALL trash!

It was freezing cold with both doors letting in cold wind. We were "greeted" by an unfriendly guy who should be working in the back of a warehouse. The food was ok. The burrito was a bit bland but my wife enjoyed her fish tacos. I won't need to go back. The prices is reasonable though.

Cute patio with view of the ocean across the hi-way. Probably explains the $15.00 chicken burrito. I didn’t see any diet coke in the cooler so opted for tap water from the soda station. The burrito was okay but I’m not a fan of lettuce in a burrito unless it’s vegetarian. Chips and salsa were good. I was the only customer on a Thursday near noon. When I was leaving I said thanks to the worker who was engrossed with his cellphone and was unacknowledged.

When I brought it up to the counter to let them know the server just said 'yeah there's bones in carnitas'. Burrito was the saltiest I've ever had, I could only eat a little despite being very hungry. The cappuccino was so loaded with sugar, it was undrinkable, should have no sugar at all unless you ask for it.

Great little Taqueria with excellent wet burritos, and a Charming Sunny-shady little patio! The spicy shrimp burrito with Verde sauce was outstanding and huge!
