The Posh Bagel

Great spot for a bagel or bagel sandwich. One of my go-to spots in downtown Davis for a quick and easy breakfast or lunch. The bagels and veggies are always fresh, however sometimes the pastries aren't. The breakfast sandwiches are great and so is the turkey sandwich.

I love the Posh Bagel! A perfect sized northern California "chain." Reminds me so much of Western Bagel in the Los Angeles area. Great bagels, great coffee, great service. Just an awesome place!

I recommend you try their lox. It's very fresh and delicious! Amazing bagels as well and they are generous with their cream cheese. Reminds me of east coast bagel shops.

Best bagels in town from a very friendly and appreciative staff. It may be the culture of this Davis gem, but they are so polite, always a "thank you". They could teach a masterclass on customer interactions and service.

The bagels is insanely delicious. It's not cheap but it's so good. My partner and I shared an Eggel with bacon on an Everything bagel and it was really delicious and very filling. I can't vouch for the other stuff at this place but the bagels are fresh and have an incredible crust and great chewy texture.

We love visiting The Posh Bagel every time we're in Davis. The bagel varieties and sandwiches are all so fresh and delicious. We also especially enjoy the Vietnamese coffee and milk tea.

That crack coffee that you can’t get enough of. And Bagel sandwiches are always good also.

I love it Posh bagels. Every time I go into town I stop here for an eggwich with cheese add avocado. The bagels taste fresh and the staff is so kind. Try really try hard to please the customer.

Love this place! They are quick and the bagel sandwiches are amazing! The only thing that's a bit annoying is that when I go there, I get the same thing every time but it always is a different price. Sometimes my total is way more than what I paid previously, and sometimes it's less. But other than that, I really love this place!

Posh is always a great place to grab a quick bite for breakfast. They have a ton of selections, every kind of drink you can imagine, a great selection of bagels, sandwiches, fruit and so much more. The staff is always super awesome and they are always are open early which is nice before a workout or school or work. If you haven't been, I'd highly recommend.

Came in a half hour before closing, employees were very nice, and bagels were very yummy. All of my coworkers said this was one of their favorite places to go to for bagels. I liked how they package their cream cheese, and also it was good quality cream cheese.

The BEST. A garden veggie bagel sandwich for almost $5?? Show me a better deal on a bagel sandwich anywhere along the west coast. SHOW ME. Secretly one of the foundational pillars of Davis food scene. It’s had the same family working there for literal decades. The woman working the cash register has remembered me ever since I was an 11 year old kid buying plain bagels and gum. A must stop anytime I’m back visiting friends and family.

I ordered the garden burger and cream cheese bagel for me and my friend. I was biking back to meet my friend at their dorm and these people are so so considerate of bikers. They usually have really nice coffee holders or these plastic bags specifically for your coffee which results in no spill! Employees are chill. The guy at the friend is very energetic and good at his job. Love the food here.

The bagels were solid. The coffee tasted like water, and the egg bagel sandwiches were basically flavorless. It's like 70% egg, with an inch thick egg patty that dominates the landscape and has less flavor than water. I'd get the bagels, skip the breakfast Sammy's. And i dunno, maybe the coffee is better tomorrow?

I am giving 3 stars because the meat in my egg bagel was cold, wasn't really pleasant when the egg/cheese/bagel were warm. I also ordered a mocha drink, it was good.

I got a marinara bagel with cream cheese, and it was full of cream cheese. I would even say too full. Cream cheese was falling from the sides and was pretty much the only thing I could taste. More is not always better, there is always a golden ratio for everything. Unfortunately, The Posh Bagel couldn't achieve it with my bagel. The bagels are on the small side. The labels on the coffee pots were switched, so I got hazelnut-flavored coffee when I wanted the Hawaiian blend. I did let the workers know, and hopefully, after that, they fixed it. My husband got a bagel with an egg, and he was not happy about it. He said that the egg was not seasoned and had no flavor. This is why I give this place 2 stars.

Haven’t tried this place before today, but a friend and I went in to get bagels together. We were disappointed by the way we were greeted by the lady taking our order and giving us our food. Maybe she was having a bad day, but the glaring, eye-rolls to questions and shoving our bag of food towards us certainly put a damper on the joy we had this morning! I give 2 stars because The cashier was super friendly and the bagel (egg omlette with cheese on Asiago) was okay, 4/10. overall, the egg was pretty flavorless. Not worth the money or experience for me.

Use to love going to this place, food is good but service is usually pretty bad, prices are ridiculously high. It always takes forever to get orders out and this last time I went they got my order completely wrong AND sold me this almost 3 week expired smoothy that I clearly drank from 🤢

Whoaaaa! Almost $12 for a "gourmet" sausage egg and cheese bagel? That's disappointing. It used to be worth the occasional splurge but not anymore. Bagel was good. That's a plus. Sausage was just a frozen patty they microwaved. Egg was also microwaved. Yes you read that correctly. It's cooked fine, just not much taste. Cheese has been downgraded as well. I couldn't tell if it was a cheap cheddar or plain American. Main flavor was "salt"

Coffee shops were full, people perusing the used bookstore, practically no street parking whatsoever. All of that is perfectly fine as the citizens of Davis make it worthwhile. Stepping into the posh bagel there wasn’t hardly a line, but you couldn’t figure out which line to go in to begin with. The back tables were full and even though there were at least seven people behind different counters there was not a discernible designated line or counter to place an order. People were paying a cashier, and not one of the employees behind the counter asked if I need help or one of to place an order. They were just talking to themselves. It would be bad if it was student aged employees but these were mature adult employees! I ended up just walking out after five minutes of wondering how am I gonna eat one of those wonderful bagels. Do not recommend this place, find some place where people greet you and ask if they might be able to help for any of your digestible desires. Although this place was busy it was a ghost town as well!

The loud rap music that was playing during the morning of July 30, 2025 while I was inside was intolerable. I will not be going to Posh Bagel ever again.

Very bad experience at posh. I was attended by this girl with bangs who is always rude whenever I come in. I’ve tried this place more than once and each time the customer service has been terrible I decided to finally make a review because I am furious now. The food was prepared poorly by her. She put onions when I specifically said NOT TO, they make me throw up if I consume them. Not only that I paid extra for FRESH AVOCADO, and I got black and old avocado!! How are you going to give customers rotten fruit and vegetables. My bagel came with items that I did not want in it for example onion and bean sprouts and they were still placed in there. AGAIN THIS IS NOT THE FIRST TIME THAT THIS HAS OCCURRED!! It has been multiple times. I paid for quality food and it just ruined my appetite. Terrible customer service and terrible food. Posh might not be getting my money no more…
