⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Best Dining Experience in Del Mar – 20 Years and Still Getting Better We’ve been coming to Brigantine Del Mar for over 20 years—and somehow, it just keeps getting better every single year. Our most recent visit was truly next-level. From the moment we arrived, we were treated like royalty thanks to the incredible manager Gabe, who went out of his way to secure us a very special reservation for our group of four. His professionalism and personal touch made all the difference and reminded us why this place has stood the test of time. Gabe paired us with one of the most exceptional servers we’ve ever had—Caleb. He delivered nothing short of world-class service. Caleb memorized every detail of our order, anticipated our needs, and made each guest at our table feel genuinely valued and taken care of. His presence elevated the entire evening. The views—as always—were spectacular. The vibe is vibrant, upscale yet welcoming, and the energy in the room is contagious. It’s the perfect spot whether you’re celebrating something big or just enjoying a night out with people you care about. Hats off to the entire Brigantine team. This restaurant is a masterclass in consistency, hospitality, and top-tier service. Gabe and Caleb, you both made this visit unforgettable—and we’re already looking forward to the next 20 years. We celebrated a birthday on Father’s Day and dined al fresco on their spacious back patio area. Brittany and Matt took care of us and made the meal truly memorable. We enjoyed the crab and shrimp dip and crab cake appetizer. The food is scrumptious, prepared with artistry. The mahi was a standout, and even the fried shrimp kid’s entrée was delicious. Generous portions and a festive fun atmosphere. Matt brought out a tasty dessert for the birthday, complimentary, to complete a special meal. The food was even better than on our previous visit several years before. Looking forward to returning.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at this seafood restaurant, and I must say, it was an exceptional experience. The view overlooking the racetrack was absolutely stunning, and the interior design was equally impressive. It had a sophisticated yet lively atmosphere that instantly lifted my spirits. The service was impeccable. The staff were attentive and provided service at just the right moments, making me feel truly comfortable and well taken care of. And of course, the food was absolutely divine! Every dish was a culinary masterpiece. This restaurant is perfect for special occasions, such as anniversaries, or for anyone looking to deepen their connection with a loved one. The ambiance, service, and cuisine all come together to create a truly memorable dining experience. I highly recommend it!

The servers were very knowledgeable and provided great recommendations. The drinks were fantastic, especially the martinis. Both the steak and halibut were delicious, and the dessert was amazing!

We sat in the balcony tables (on the lower level of the balcony) with the view facing the Del Mar race horse tracks. Happy hour was really lovely. Had 1/2 a dozen oysters from west coast., they were good enough for domestic oysters. I am really picky and a real critic about the wine I drink. The $7 happy hour price on the white Chardonnay from the Camelot vineyards and Winery was really delicious.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND! Visited Brigantine while traveling in the area, celebrating our anniversary. Jason was a wonderful server. We had a fantastic dinner, with desert to follow. Food was absolutely outstanding and very high quality. Service from Jason was amazing. Great value as well!

As soon as I went to drink tea, a super kind lady very carefully offered me a delicious vegan salad, which went into my stomach in the most gentle way, and did not leave me indifferent to this place! Of course, the tea turned out to be extremely rare - rare, green and tasty, which only added zest to the "cake". the mood after such a meal is magical, the body is happy and grateful for choosing this restaurant. And if you look around, the view here is crazy, and there is always a heater overhead, and it becomes even more comfortable to sit in the evening! Thank you all and God bless you, guys!

Went back after 39 years to celebrate our first date and 38th anniversary. We were quickly seated but the location was in a bit of a busy area. Almost the feel of a leftover space to put a table but it was sufficient for us. Very busy in the outside space but much more quiet inside the restaurant. Our server Kyle was kind enough to note our anniversary that was mentioned on the reservation and listen to us ramble about our first date many years ago. Food was very good and desert was a nice addition to the meal. Would come back again and hopefully not every 39 years.

Beautiful setting for brunch on the patio overlooking the lagoon, beach and race track. Worth the visit despite the food lacking love. Presentation and taste is made for high volume and lacking but the ambience makes up for it. Valet was very busy and took some time for people to get their cars after wrapping up. I have and will continue to return.

The valet service was extremely disappointing. My boyfriend and I pulled into the lot thinking we could self park, but were told it was valet only, which was completely fine. After telling us, one of the attendants got back into a Mercedes he was bringing around to the owner and drove it very carelessly in an already small and tight lot, which was concerning to watch, especially since it was not his vehicle. He had to be going at least 30 mph in that small area, which felt reckless and unsafe. Based on that experience, I would recommend using the nearby free parking instead, as I would not feel confident that cars left with valet are being handled with proper care.
