Wonderful service with very authentic Italian dishes. I was in town for 3 days and had dinner here twice. That hardly ever happens when I travel, as I like to try new places. After my first meal here, I was convinced that I wouldn't find anything more enjoyable.

My bf and I went there last night for takeout, staff was super kind, and the pasta was the most delicious pasta we have ever had! I ordered their ziti pasta and my bf ordered the fettuccine al cinghiale! So so tasty with so much flavor, we can’t wait to go back and maybe sit down and eat it there!

Love this restaurant, and their salmon (signature dish) is really great. I lived in Seattle for 15-years and I know a well prepared salmon. Everything we've had here is excellent. Nice to find a good Italian restaurant in my backyard!

I cannot recommend this place enough. I loved it. The best calzone I've ever had. My mom and her friends wanted to pay so I slipped my card early. And the level of fun when the bill came is one of my favorite memories

We ate at Villa Capri for our anniversary the other night and enjoyed a wonderful dinner I had the saltimbocca which was very tender and tasty and my wife really liked her salmon pasta dish. A very enjoyable dining experience.

We had such a great dinner here! The food, wine, and people were amazing. Our waiter, Brian, was so knowledgeable and kind and the hostess definitely captured the heart of our son!

The food at Villa Capri is outstanding. The salads are really good with homemade dressing. The Tropicale is my absolute favorite salad. The artichoke and the shrimp appetizers are my favorites. The Francesca and the villa Capri pastas are to die for! Not only is the food great, but the restaurant is also owned by a woman, who emigrated to the US from Italy. Please support local businesses.

Amazing food and people! I brought my family of 12 people for lunch and it was an overall amazing experience. They accommodate our large party and even stayed open to continue to serve us.

I had a very good dinner at the villa cCapri,, a lot for the buck. Derrick was the server and was very pleasant, we arrived just as they were opening and we had a great experience. Would recommend. Very pleasant hostess showed up shortly after we were seating and was very friendly.

The best Italian I’ve ever had! The foundations of the dish are to die for (the noodles, the sauce, etc.). I could eat the simple but delicious ravioli caprese every night. Also every time we’ve visited good and attentive service.

The new menu features more daring options such as pasta with wild boar and mushrooms or ricotta pasta in velvety lemon sauce. I must say the food tasted authentic and it transported us to memories of our Italian Holidays. The staff was very attentive and knowledgeable. They kept on checking on us. We had two dogs with us since we dined outside on their patio and they even offered a special dog menu which consisted of three healthy choices. We ordered Cesar salad, eggplant parmigiana, pasta with wild boar, fried calamari, linguine con fruitte del mare. I only regret we had no room for dessert. But we will be back to try more. Excellent job chef!

This is a newly "polished" restaurant! New chef, exquisitely and authentic Italian!! I was born and raised in Italy and believe me when I say that you will not be disappointed!!! Fried calzone, pizza, seafood, even a homemade salad dressing to die for....and so much more!!! Buon appetito!!

Certain foods I miss from Naples, Gnocchi and Spaghetti ala Carbonara. The sauce must contain egg yolk to be authentic. Most places skip this process and give you Alfredo sauce. Pizza Parma is also a missed food The Chef is originally from Naples, Italy.

Absolutely everything is amazing on their menu, their seasonal specials are to die for, especially when it’s seafood season. My favorite dish is the ziti, no one come close to Villa Capris Ziti. The cheeses are perfectly balanced, the sausages are flavorful and plentiful and the sauce just ties in everything perfectly together. If you are anywhere near this establishment and want to try out authentic Italian food, please try this place out. You will not be disappointed.

Villa Capri is absolutely delicious! We ordered several months ago to welcome our staff back, and decided to come back again due to the rave reviews our staff provided. The second time did not disappoint either! The food was delivered hot, on time, and they were extremely helpful in setting everything up for our event. Their displays of food were beautiful! The food was so delicious, we ran out of EVERYTHING. We ordered enough food for 80, and not 1 leftover remained! That's saying something! The Gnocchi, Lasagna, and Tiramisu were a crowd favorite. Thank you for an amazing corporate luncheon!

We had the salade tropicale and it was delicious. The carciofi was perfectly prepared which I feel is so hard to find in San Diego. I had the risotto al tartufo and my husband had the branzino (I had to talk him into it) and he said it was the best fish he'd ever had. Will definitely visit again and more often 💗

Staying at the Grand Del Mar and wanted to try something off-property. This place was an amazing home-cooked Italian meal experience! The staff were all so friendly and the beautiful patio had a very charismatic and engaging piano player/singer taking requests and playing Italian and Italian-American classics. You can name any song and he’ll jump right to it as if he played it only moments before! Great Italian comfort food in a comforting setting. Definitely recommend it for those who want a casual and comfy dinner!

Villa Capri is a family favorite! Always amazing food and great service! You feel like an extension of the family! The food is delicious and they happily help us customize for kids with no sauce or cheese on the side. The lasagna is amazing! The appetizers are on point- can’t go wrong with the capers or burrata salad… the margarita or other wood fired pizzas… and the specials are amazing- especially the scallops! The veal piccata was also mouth watering delicious! Highly recommend! Oh and save room for dessert!!

This is a very good place for Italian food. Definitely not what bad ratings said about food. Eggplant Parmigiana, Carbonara pasta, Primavera pizza, Kale caesar salad, grilled vegetables and many more dishes are excellent there. Service is definitely very good and personable. Window tables are best.

Interesting Italian restaurant, with polite and kind service. The Cioppino's was delicious, also enjoyed the simple gnocchi alla sorrentina. The atmosphere was pleasant and the seating was convenient there. We had a wonderful lunch, the only thing that disappointed us was one of the desserts they offer. It was their " mousse al cioccolato " that tasted too buttery. We couldn't really taste the chocolate in this dessert. Otherwise, we had a lovely time there.

Great experience and the services is exactly what you expect for an Italian restaurant, the food was good but a bit americanized. The owner from Milano is the best asset to the restaurant, serving and checking in every table, making small talk to every costumer, even with the children. The pizza 4 formaggi is great with a ton of cheese!! Highly recommended 👌

I’ve eaten her on 3 other occasions and this visit was to celebrate a birthday. Our waiter was wonderful! We were a bit disappointed with the special, (lobster ravioli) After waiting 1/2 hr for our dessert we had to remind the staff, they apologized and expressed that the restaurant was busier than expected.

Friendly, great choices. Ordered a Caesar salad with grilled shrimp to go, waited about 15 mins. I was staying at hotel a few miles away. Got back to hotel and no shrimp were found. You decide…

We live near this restaurant, so this is our go to Italian restaurant. This place used to be decent. It has gone down hill over the years. My meal is frequently late and sometimes wrong. The cost has gone up for everything exponentially. I don’t mind paying for good service and good food but that’s not what we’ve been getting from this place.

My chicken parm was so salty that I could only take 3 bites. I travel often to SD for work and had been dying to try this place, but unfortunately I was disappointed this time. However, I will try it again because maybe it’s an off night.

We really wanted to like this place. It's easy to get to and inviting. We went for an early dinner at 4:15 and our food didn't come out until 5:00. Not only that, there were only 2 other tables with customers and both had come in after us. One actually got their food and finished eating before we got ours. The food was ok. The staff was pleasant but didn't apologize for the long wait. Won't be going back.

Went her for my mother's birthday. Initially I was excited to go eat at a local Italian restaurant but was disappointed after ordering their sausage pizza and having it be extremely soggy. The pizza would fall apart and was generally not satisfying for the 14 dollar price. Loud atmosphere with too many tables packed closely together. The others in my party were also disappointed with their pastas that were not good as well. Disappointed overall, was really hoping to find a good Italian restaurant close to home.

Good wine selection and service. The food is Americanized Italian and way too salty. We had to add a glass of water into our mussels to make it edible. Also, it took one hour to get the main course so it's going to be a bit of a wait.

Noisy venue. Used to come here once every couple of months in the 2000's. Came back recently and the food quality has slipped markedly. My saltimbocca was prepared amateurishly and the prosciutto was leather because of it. My wife's pasta was cooked al dried rope not al dente. Her poached fish was over cooked and flavorless. Overall, an unpleasant experience.

recommended by family as a very nice Italian restaurant ended with disappointment. Althought the wait staff was friendly and professional and the food was delicious it was overshadowed by "feeling forgotten" as we waited for our main course. The pasta dishes were not suffiently hot (as if just made, instead as if they had been sitting). One of the guest at our table asked to have it "heated" .It returned very dried out and rubbery penne Pasta. The ladies restroom was disgracefully dirty without paper goods. Hoping this fine restuarant will address these issue.

I am stunned at all these good reviews. I had a delivery today, Father's Day. The food arrived piping hot. That was the ONLY good thing I have to say. The Veal parm was tasteless and dry, & I mean the meat was DRY as .as dust. The sauce tasted like a can of Hunts tomato sauce with basil & garlic & barely coated the spaghetti. The lasagna was all pasta, not a hint of the supposed béchamel, a tiny bit of ricotta, but the cheese on top was plentiful. Over all though, again, DRY. The 'Rustica' salad was decent but nothing special. I would not even consider another visit. Ever.
