Such a cute pizza and place place… and the food is absolutely delicious. The wait staff is INCREDIBLY sweet and helpful to us on giving some suggestions. Pizza perfection 👌! Had the Pepperoni Lovers and the Sweet & Spicy pies. Both were absolutely wonderful and some of the best of the best pizza I've ever eaten. No room for improvement here. Light, airy, crust that is also crispy on the edges. Perfectly flavorful and cooked toppings. Properly baked. You will be in pizza bliss! The service and atmosphere was exceptional and the restaurant is very nice inside as well as out on the porch. Truly a gem of a restaurant.

I've been to 11 states, 6 countries. This is the best pizza I've ever had. The cheese, to the toppings and crust were so fresh. Rea was a wonderful host and owner. Enjoyed talking to her. Raph was my waiter and he was phenomenal and attentive. Very great customer service all around. I recommend anyone who loves pizza to try this place. Loved everything about it. This place is a real gem! We've been going since they've opened, and Mom's has grown into a bit of a food and culture nexus as well. You can get a robust dinner, full menu of fresh and legit Italian food, cold Peroni, with generous portions and friendly service. They deliver to the nearby New English Brewery, which makes for a great combo for large groups on short notice. You need seating for 15 and a killer selection of beers and pizza? Mom's will hook you up, deliver stacks, and nobody starves for waiting. I'm stoked they're bringing shows to Mom's now! Stand-up multi-act Comedy shows with Comedy Juice, live music events.. It's awesome, and not downtown-crowded or Ticketmaster-expensive. Free parking, even. (Bring your 4x4, because I still don't know why the city hates that Sorrento street so much.) The owners are super friendly, down to earth, and love what they do there -- it shows.

Easy to chew and it tastes good too. The cheese is meaty, the sauce is pleasant and fresh. The pepperoni on the pizza was classic old world cupped, some crispy parts and had a real spicy flavor. It's the way pepperoni is supposed to be. Same for the other toppings. The overall pie is just great and you want to keep eating more. When we come back, we will try the other dishes too.

Celebrated a birthday with dinner here and the service was amazing. The staff were friendly and made us feel like we were family. The food was clearly handmade and you can taste the quality of each dish. The price was right for the portion size and I would certainly come back for a celebration. Bonus points for having all gender restrooms and cozy Italian ambiance.

We were at Black’s Beach and googled restaurants nearby and google said Mom’s pizza was close- I can assure you it’s not close enough to walk. And I’m so glad we got a ride and came to this delicious gem. Loved the Stromboli and pizza!

Sweet and spicy Italian is absolutely amazing! We also had their special lobster ravioli and the sauce will be something I dream about. Staff were all so friendly and welcoming. We couldn't have asked for a better experience.

We cannot say enough good things about this place, hands down some of the best food (and service) we've ever had. The meatballs and mozzarella sticks were amazing, and to call the truffle cream gnocchi "perfectly delectable pillowy clouds of deliciousness" would be an insult to how incredible it actually is. Everything is home made and personalized recipes, family run by some of the kindest and most inviting people you can meet, the atmosphere is just so cozy. It's a wonderful place! 11/10 stars, it's now a stop for us every time we visit San Diego!

Mom’s is a gem that I only wish I had found about sooner. As soon as I walked in I immediately felt welcome. Raya(the owner) greeted us in such a warm way that it was as though I'd known her forever and had just arrived into her home. Once we were seated, she asked if we had been there before, which I really appreciated. She explained the menu and we told her that we were pizza “snobs”, she told us about the process that they use to make the dough and then going over and above any restaurateur I have ever met invited into me into the kitchen to see their pizza oven! I was so impressed that she actually wanted me to see the kitchen, which I might add is absolutely spotless. Needless to say, the pizza was fabulous! The entire evening was great. We loved the whole vibe, great music great food and a lot warmth could be felt by the staff! We will certainly be returning often.

Had to find a place to eat quickly after a gymnastics competition and while driving here I was surprised that there was even a restaurant in this industrial area. Best pizza and fresh pasta! Service was excellent and they are really passionate about their craft!

I just had the best calzone I have eaten outside of NYC. Crisp, very tasty crust. Excellent spicy pepperoni and just the right amount of ricotta and sauce. Super friendly people. Will absolutely come back when in town.

Food is good. Questionable price for the portions. Staff is also questionable. The man who took my order asked me if it was my first there. I assume to scam me. I told him yes and he went ahead and charged me more for the same dish they had as a lunch special. I didnt realize there lunch was entirely different menu until i went back to look to see what else was on the menu, and to come hack to. He did not point out the menu or was friendly whats so ever. Charged me $30 for a meal that I could've gotten for 18.50. The dish wasnt worth $30 because the portion was small and it was pretty basic.

Ordered a meat lovets with veggies. The pizza they have me was veggie ONLY. 😠 Would have tsken it back but a 20 minute drive is not worth it. Check your pie befiore you leave or the old adage will apply. Buyer beware.
