The decor is a bit eclectic, but there is plenty of parking and seating. I had the crispy beef tacos #4. They were delicious and came with extras like sour cream, guacamole, rice and beans. It's a solid choice for tex-mex. Fast and friendly service. Casual dining experience.

Food was pretty good except for the salsa. Salsa tasted like tomato juice, no heat or flavor other than tomatoes and was so funny. We added the table sauce to it which helped flavor. Food came to table in a decent time.

I see their sign all the time, special of the day 50% off.I think I will go drive-thru, ordered 2 specials,they said I have to order large drinks to get the special! I say OK.WHEN they come to the window 15 min. Later the bill was $24 and she did not give me my drinks! I told her you charged me $6 for 2 teas to get a special and then I have to ask you for the teas and she gives me attitude? The Food was OK,BUT NOT WORTH FULL PRICE($32),the service you be the JUDGE ! I don't think I will go back ?

Very cute restaurant! Service was amazing. But I have to say the food wasn't as good I thought it would be. I got the red tacos plate. My tacos didn't have much meat in it. Flour tortillas are great, though.

Food was great, ordering at counter was different but OK. Only issue we had was we had to call out to waitress several times, she was too busy on her phone and not paying attention to customers needing attention.

Walked in and walked out. You have to order at the counter then get seated. I felt rushed to order. I prefer to sit and take my time reviewing the menu then ordering. They have big pictures on the wall which I can only assume that's all the offer. From what I saw it was very pricy for me. They do have daily specials but the special for today was not to my liking (tacos rojos).

UPDATE: I GOT FOOD POISONING. I will be contacting the health department. enchiladas has absolutely no taste but the taste of cooking oil. Rice and beans suck too

There are no words... I found some though! My girlfriend and I came into town to visit family and sought out to find some great eats. Tacos tapatios, I was told! The atmosphere is great and for a city boy, the presentation felt like I was about to step into a place with authentic, bold flavored Mexican food. I was wrong... The beans looked and tasted like a 50/50 mix of lard and refried beans. I doubled up on them as I am not a fan of rice, so I cannot speak to those. The enchiladas were warm, at best, and that alone is the single highlight I found from my plate. The shredded cheese was dry and hard, as if it was left out all day to wick out all the moisture. The sauce had zero flavor and the meat was bland. I tried a taquito from my girlfriend's plate and was disappointed. Drenched in sour cream and the cabbage was chunky. If you're lookin for good food. Search elsewhere...

Food was nasty.. rice looked like mashed rice.. The cheese enchiladas.. the cheese wasn’t even Melted in the inside. Nothing had flavor. Don’t go unless you want to throw away your money!

Don Marcelino's was one of my favorite when visiting Del Rio. However, the food is not nowhere close to what it used to be. The guisado tacos were the best in town. Big tacos with lots of tender, guisado meat with refried beans- one taco was enough. Now, the tacos are smaller, they add very little meat, it's mostly refried beans on a burned tortilla! I understand you may accidentally burn the tortilla, but this is not the first time I receive burned tacos. I get my tacos to go on my way back to Houston and since they know I'm not going to "see" my food and I'll be long gone when I see my burned food, they don't care if it's burned! See for yourself.

Awful, greasy, bland, and fake cheese (imitation). I'm not giving any more money to this disgusting Tex-Mex food restaurant. Chicken smelled and tasted rotten, the sauce has not taste other than salty fat drool, and the texture feels cardboardy.
