Luke was a great server. He made our restaurant experience better. He was very friendly and kind.
It was my first time at this franchise, and the bar waitress was super sweet and genuine. The service was beyond wonderful, and it brings the whole dining experience to another level. Other waiters will come by to make sure the steak was the right rarity that was asked for. This was overall a very wholesome experience. I will totally come here again! (Btw, best wishes to that kind waitress from Washington!)
This is probably the best Texas Roadhouse at which I've ever eaten. It's certainly the best I've eaten at in a long time. It could be that it's new and trying to establish its reputation in town, but it's such a breath of fresh air in this town for taking your family out to eat. The ribs have been A+ every time- they fall off the bone, the meat is succulent. Steaks are cooked exactly where you want them- the salads are crisp, the mashed potatoes are moist and fluffy. Jerry was my server this time and he was so helpful- our table was sending him back to get stuff about every 5 mins because, in our rush, we had forgotten to mention some things up front, but he was super patient with us. We were in at about 11:30 this morning. I hope the manager sees this review so Jerry can get some well-earned kudos for serving us. Great kid! Some guys from work got the catfish this time around and they both endorsed that as well- I'll be back!
Great food and excellent staff. Heather ensured the steak was on point. 🥩
Me and an Army buddy went in this afternoon around 1pm. Sar at the bar and was greeted by the bartender. (I believe her name was Celeste). She was totally awesome. Appetizers came out hot and fresh. I ordered a steak and it was exactly what I was expecting. Good cut of meat with just the right amount of fat, perfectly cooked to medium rare and full of flavor. I will definitely come back again.
Well, I have to say that Texas Roadhouse is consistently good. Good food, good service, ok prices. It's always busy, and you definitely want to sign in online instead of when you get there (waiting times are so much faster!), but even the crowd at the door can sometimes move quickly. I like that the wait staff do not hound you at your table, that you can pay with the little table kiosk. Sometimes, not often, you can see the manager going to some tables (not all) to check on patrons. I watched an older couple get a bunch of discounts and gift cards for being their first time there, which was nice, but it seems inconsistent. While I don't expect a free meal, I would expect that all new customers would get the same treatment, and that was lacking in my few experiences at this location. The food, though... I'm not a picky steak eater, but they're not too bad! The meat is usually at the right temp (my prime rib was over what I ordered, but still was soooo good), and the portions are pretty good sized (I usually can only eat half). They will bring you lots of rolls and cinnamon(?) butter, they will let you substitute things on sides (try sweet potatoes with the loaded mash toppings!), they have always been friendly and quick. Overall, great experience, and definitely worth a visit!
Ribs nd BBQ chicken were delish 😋 😍 the mac nd cheese had good flavor nd the baked 🥔 perfectly done. The cheesecake 😋 amazing 👏 I would most definitely return nd recommend 😊
Came to my hometown visit this new location of Texas Roadhouse. The experience was incredibly awesome. The food was very delicious and tasteful. give this place five stars all the way for the environment service and food. Everything was extremely excellent, but the music can be toned down just a tiny bit. love how they really established this place from the inside out. dinning in there does not make you feel like you're just in any ordinary restaurant. give this place 100% all the way satisfaction.!!
I sat at the bar two nights while in Del Rio for a jury trial. Bartenders were very attentive in bringing both food and drinks. The other patrons were friendly. Constant good conversation but also plenty of TV screens. Food was solid, just what you'd expect from a Texas Roadhouse. Yummy bread, good steaks, good portions on the sides. The liquor selection is limited. Plenty of cold beer, but it's not a craft cocktail bar. There's a selection of your standard boozes, one well and premium only. They had a few bourbons. This was fine for me, but cocktails ate not the emphasis here.
Today was my first time at Texas Roadhouse in Del Rio and from walking in the door I had a great experience. My buddy and I sat at the bar and were served by the bartender Celeste and she was awesome. Super attentive and made sure we were good to go. There was a little wait for the rolls, but she made sure to check in with the staff and keep us updated at the same time. It was a great time and I’ll be going back.
It was our first time here and they were wonderful, many waiters and the owner came by our table to say hello and check on us🫶🏻 wish I was a local so I could come here more often
We have visited other Texas Roadhouses and by far this one was Awesome !! Service was excellent thank you Jesus! Food great! So we will be back! Only downside was I ordered bowl chili to go and we didn’t get it we had to take food home cuz eyes bigger than stomach but ugh I really wanted that chili next day haha but next time I guess.
Found the trick to this place. Eat at the bar. Have Yessina and Maria wait on you and for sure your experience will be 5 stars. The drinks alone were amazing. Food, awesome. Service, exceptional, excellent experience. Thank you!!!!
Our meal was big enough to feed a third person. We spent $60 tax included, I'm looking forward to my next experience, hopefully mother's day. The servers were all wonderful and our food arrived within 20. Total visit time was 1 hour and it was around 1pm.
Cactus bloom is not a bad way to start. If you're here for dinner, get a Texas size combo. Steak was good, but the ribs omg fall off the bone amazing Ceasar salad must try Baked sweet potato out of this world. Baked potato was fancy. Loved the salt flakes. NOTE FOR THE CHEF: Less salt on my steak next time, but it was still great. Cooked beautifully. Great job. NOTE TO FOOD RUNNER: You are amazing. I saw how you meticulous you were. NOTE TO SERVER: Bravo 👏 stayed on top of your tables like a pro.
We visited Texas Roadhouse location in Del Rio Texas on a Wednesday afternoon. We waited only a few minutes to be seated and were offered fresh bread right away. They have a large menu with many options and sides. We ordered two salads to start our lunch and to share between four people. Serving was good and the salads were tasty (ceasar and house salad). Also we ordered some fried pickles and they came along pretty quickly. Those were tasty but the ranch dressing tasted a little bit salty. We ordered: bbq ribs, country fried chicken, country fried steak, rib eye and grilled shrimps, all of these dishes come with two sides and you can choose from around 10 different sides. It didn't take long for our dishes to arrive, around 15 min or so. They say everything's bigger in Texas and wow! the servings were large and if you're not an avid eater or get full pretty quickly, I'd strongly recommend for you to choose one main dish to share with someone else. All of the dishes were delicious, shout out to the bbq ribs as they were literally, as the menu says, falling off the bone. Rich flavor and meaty. Country fried chicken was good but a bit dry, you definitely need the gravy. Rib eye and shrimps is always a winner. The flavor of the grilled shrimps is great. The country fried steak had me doubting a little: it is good, the serving is great and I ordered the brown gravy which was a great match, but I'm not sure if I'd order it again. Having said that, we did ordered another round of the hot bread because it is simply delicious: fluffy and hot. We had a great experience having lunch in Texas Roadhouse and the waiters were very nice and always checking on us. I do recommend this restaurant and it is a great option in Del Rio.
Gotta love the rolls so much. Early lunch and it was amazing. Both steaks cooked to how we asked and sides tasted good and hot.
Visited the place on the way to Loredo. Very good service, and superb steak. I had a 16oz Ribeye. Highly recommend if you pass by this place.
My nephew is law enforcement and had to go back to wrk and they got his order out before us which we really appreciated

Texas Roadhouse Del Rio has greatly improved since my last visit here a couple of years ago. I originally gave them 2 stars but now I'm giving them 5 stars. Food continues to be fantastic and high quality. Service was superb and friendly from the welcoming staff. Everything went way better than my last visit few years ago. Thank you for a wonderful dinner experience TXRH Del Rio Staff!
It was my first time in a Texas Roadhouse and I will definitely be coming back all because of the service and the portions. Yesenia and Heather were so so nice and made our last night on tour in Texas so friendly and welcoming. Give those ladies a raise!
My fiancé and I just had dinner there and the experience was amazing I had to leave a review! We just moved to Del Rio last week and decided to have dinner here for Veterans Day, it was pretty crowded and even though we were expecting a long wait, we only waited for about 10minutes or even less and get seated. All the employees were very welcoming and kind and I’ve been to Texas Roadhouse in other locations but this is the best one we’ve been to. Our server, her name is Laura I believe was the sweetest and most patient server I’ve met. She had a great smile and an even better energy. It didn’t even take long til we got our food despite how busy they were. 10/10 experience! Will definitely be coming back soon😁

Waited 10-15 min for two. For dinner, not bad I think. The food was good. My stake was not cooked correctly but still good. Margaritas was good. Baked potatoes was good and over all service was good.
I've never been a big fan of Texas Roadhouse because I don't love steak (I know, take away my Texan card). I do like it okay occasionally. We went for Father's Day because my husband likes it. He had the ribeye, grilled shrimp, mashed potatoes and corn. He loved all of it. My son and I had the 8 oz. NY Strip. It was cooked as ordered and had good flavor. Mashed potatoes were okay, green beans were good. The green beans had so much bacon in them they were practically a meat dish. Points off for atmosphere. It's just too loud in there. We couldn't hear each other at the same table.
It was very nice our waitress was super nice and friendly.
Food was delicious the rolls were nice and warm. The only thing I saw not up to code was the restroom from my standpoint. The short urinal wasn't flushing and they didn't have soap on one of the dispensers. Overall great service and great restaurant. I'll definitely be going there more often, to watch some sports and drink some beer.

Don't go at the end of the night when they are trying to close 🙄. Good food service was lacking a little but not bad. No dinner rolls as they said they were out for the night. Overall good food good drinks good atmosphere. Tonight is June 12, 2024 our server was supposed to be John however, he pocketed our order for an hour until we called the manager Angelica. She ended up comping our meal due to his horrible service. If/when you go here beware of John the waitress/waiter
I often eat at Texas Roadhouse in Miami near home, and I was curious to eat at one in Texas. Unfortunately it was a disappointment if compared to the Miami experience. I ordered a Caesar salad with chicken that took way too long. When they finally brought it, the chicken was cold as if it had been prepared and then forgotten on a counter in the kitchen. I wasn’t offered any peanuts or bread (I had to ask for the bread after 30 minutes waiting for the salad), and there was no dance, which I thought would be taken really seriously in Texas. I stayed for a bit over an hour at the restaurant.
Sat at the bar. Warm rolls were immediately served. The draft beer was very cold and the bartenders/servers were good. Madison and Angelica were attentive and helpful. Ordered a grilled chicken salad but substituted fried chicken instead of the grilled chicken. The chicken was mushy and the salad had lots of cheese. The “homemade” honey mustard dressing didn’t have a good taste. Will give them another chance in my next trip to Del Rio.
The steaks, deep fried mushrooms, and even the green beans were way too salty. If not for that, we would have given five starts on everything. We were celebrating our 46th anniversary, so we were disappointed in the food due to excess salt. There’s an old saying about salting food: “you can put it in, but you can’t take it out. We paid a good amount for the meal, so we are not sure if we will come back.” And I’m a lover of salt too, so this might give you an idea of just how much salt was in the food. Even the deep fried mushrooms and sautéed mushrooms were salty.
Used the app to check in as we have many many times as we waited in the parking lot. After getting in the restaurant the attendant told us she didn't check us in until the full party came inside the restaurant, which doubled our time as we usually wait in the parking lot after checking in. Again, we've always checked in and waited in the car for the text. They seemed to either change the rules or treat us differently this time for whatever reason, which changed our wait time to a full 25 mins when it was supposed to be under 10. Generally, we've had good experiences here, but if you're going to change the way you operate, you don't do it without telling patrons first. We would've saved 15 mins. Services after that were good and the food was good.
Was glad to see Del Rio get a Texas Roadhouse, however we had several issues. Our server did a good job and the manager was on the floor. The manager took my plate to show the back of the house just how bad it was. Hopefully this is not the norm for this store and on my next trip I can give them a better review.

I had signed up for the restaurant's waiting list online and expected to receive a text or notification. However, when I called to check on my status, the host informed me that I was late but could still be seated promptly upon arrival. I explained this to the front door host but was told I would have to get back on the list. I waited more than another hour. However, the food was only slightly warm and took almost another hour to arrive. I had ordered a medium-well steak, but it came out well done. The server was the only positive aspect of the experience. The food quality and experience didn't justify the price. Support local business, not these big chains. Response: First impressions are always the most important, leaving the longest-lasting impression. Furthermore, time is the most valuable asset one ever has; as a college student, I do not have any to spare. Good luck.
Our dining experience that should have been 1 hour turned into a 2 hour nightmare. We had the worst waitress ever. I am diabetic and she brought me a "sweet" tea when I had asked for unsweet. Never saw her much during our nightmare. Order to go was not turned in until we were finished with our meal and dessert. The food was just okay - not worth a 2 hour dining nightmare. The music was so loud we could not have a real conversation too. A total nightmare experience for sure!!! Also food is TOO salty.
***Updated different visit *** 07-08-2025 The waitress was not very attentive. I ordered a Ft. Worth Ribeye 16 Oz rare, but was given a sirloin 16 Oz med. I decided to at least try it, since I always get a rib-eye. It was not to my liking, so I decided to send it back for my rib-eye. It took nearly 5 minutes for my waitress to get back with me. When she did, she took my meal. At this point (20 min) I still hadn't received my water. The store manager asked if I had been helped, and I told him briefly what was going on. He replied that he would take care of it. About 1 min later I had my water, then 5 min later I had my steak. The steak was so rapidly cooked, it was tough. The first bite or two were not bad due to the fat, but the center was really tough. ⭐️⭐️ The food (med-rare ribeye) was fantastic, and the service was consistent. The music was on the loud side, and I needed to cup my ears to hear my parents talk to me. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Second time here. First time I had rice and salmon. Fish was dry and rice was kinda bad they substituted extra salt for good flavor. Plain white rice would have been way better with fish. This time I guess I don’t know what a medium cooked burger is. Black on one side pink in the middle and browned on the bottom. Then covered with a ton of salt. Bacon and topping were good. Steak fries were good too. Asked for peanuts never delivered. Music is super super loud. Place is super busy. I don’t think this place is for me.
Ordered medium well steaks to go. got our food 1 hr later right 5 minutes before closing time, steaks were barely cooked. This was a while ago.
Probably one of my worst visits to a Tx Roadhouse. No peanuts at the table. No bread brought to the table when we first sat down. Ordered a beer and took longer than average time. My daughters Steak came out and was raw, waitress even confirmed it was raw. We ordered medium. My dad’s steak did not have the potato he ordered. We were told the potatoes “were on hold”. After waiting for the baked potatoes to come they then offer us the opportunity to choose other sides since the potatoes were delayed. Our waitress comes out with our baked potatoes. By this time we had completed our main course and my daughter’s steak still was not back. It’s hard to enjoy the meal you order come at different times. This manager and his team need to be better at servicing its customers.
This isn’t the first time this RH location is an absolute disappointment. I ordered a NY strip and it was the tiniest steak ever because they don’t think someone can tell the difference between cuts. I was sold a sirloin and charged the price of the strip. Apart from our orders taking much longer than usual, the manager came to tell me they just cut the fat off my steak and that’s why it looked the way it did as if I was stupid or as if I have never eaten at real steakhouses before. Never ever again. Overhyped chain restaurant strikes again.
Fries, mashed potatoes, baked potatoes, sweet potatoes, beans pretty much everything has pig fat!! Service was horrible. Ordered country platter that comes with 4 sides only 3 sides got delivered. Ordered starter fried onions never came eventually we had to cancel it. My husband got chicken entree and sides were missing too! I hate when you have to keep calling server to fix what you have already ordered. Never going back. I have been to one in different place and it was a great experience.
We waited at our table for more than 20 minutes and whenever we requested a waitress we were told our waitress was busy. The girl kept on walking in front of our table mean mugging us (so apparently she wasn’t as busy). A little bit after we got our food the “manager” Heather comes and gives us the receipt basically kicking us out.
Let me start by stating the restaurant was at less than 1/2 capacity. We waited over 40 minutes for a table of 6. The hostess was rude and unpleasant. Bread & butter wasn't brought to us until the end of the meal. Appetizers were soggy and then steaks 3 steaks out of 5 weren’t cooked right. The manager was rude about resolving the problem. I am more than certain I know what slight pink center means. This is one of the crappier Texas Roadhouse locations I have been to! North Dakota and locations in West Texas take pride and don’t argue with the paying patrons.

It was extremely disheartening to visit this establishment with my grandmother, aunt, and cousin. This wasn’t meant to be a major celebration?just my grandmother’s first time trying to enjoy a meal in public since starting dialysis. She is a double leg amputee, but that has never stopped her from wanting to live her life and enjoy moments with her family. What does stop her, however, are incompetent and non-accommodating staff members and managers. Tiffany, and the young hostess working with you, this is directed toward you. You made this visit deeply unpleasant, an experience my family and I will never forget. I cannot understand why your staff felt it was acceptable to seat my grandmother so close to a busy ramp, let alone explain that the reason we couldn’t have two tables put together was because our party was only five people and not six or more. This makes no sense, especially when accessibility should be a priority. I am sharing this experience and naming those involved in hopes that your team receives the training needed and that those responsible are held accountable for this unacceptable behavior. To make matters worse, the hostess’s disrespect, specifically rolling her eyes, was completely inappropriate and unprofessional. Overall, this was one of the most unpleasant visits I have ever had. Please do better, especially with the holiday season approaching. Being a decent human being doesn’t cost a thing.
Bad management. the 2 ladies as mangers are rude and are of no help ,not sure of their names. We had made reservations for a party of about 10 people a week prior to our visit and when we got there they had given our table away to some other group of people and to “fix “ the problem they gave us 3 different booths .??? When they brought us our food after a long wait they forgot my siblings plates and had a longer wait . The steaks were very salty . Music is too loud . I loved Texas Roadhouse when I use to go in San Antonio but the one in Del Rio is just bad , food wise and service . Pretty sad since we were all excited to have something new in the city .
We went to this steak house on the 23. We were told there would be a 25 minute wait. There was no one waiting and there was many open tables. we ask why there was a wait and we were told they were short staffed.

Ordered medium well steaks to go. got our food 1 hr later right 5 minutes before closing time, steaks were barely cooked. This was a while ago.
