First I haven't had Whataburger in 13 years. But nothing has changed. The employees are polite. Very attentive. Clean. Great.

Don’t judge a book by the first chapter. My first experience with Whataburger in Louisiana was subpar. Since then I’ve had it in Houston and now Del Rio. Knocked it out of the park both times. Though the joint in Houston was ... unclean. This ones a shiny example over here. Great job. Great burger.

Driving through Del rio I stopped in for a burger... walked into the restaurant and was greeted at the counter right off the bat.... ordered my double meat burger and fries.... took about 5 min and was out with fresh warm food, pretty awesome! I'll have to remember for the next time I drive through 😉

They took my order at the door since it was 2:45 and lobby was closed. I can't fit through drive thru with a semi. It's great when a restaurant helps out the drivers that keep this country running.

Basically a must visit if you're in the region; great fast food and a perfect way to end a bar run on the Riverwalk. Bonus points because SAPD keeps the rambunctious types at bay. Just uh, don't get a large milkshake and expect to have room for food...or really anything else. It's basically 44 oz of solid shake.

When we would go out, Whataburger was our 1st go to after the club's. We never have had an issue with the staff and I give y'all a 5 star for the hard work and keeping your composure while dealing with drunks(my buddies and me included). Keep it up guys.

"Manager" Daniel was literally the most professional and courteous manager out there!!! A+ My man!! Fries were cold, which was understandable because they were busy busy and through the midst of the chaos an Angel "Daniel" arose and promptly made some fresh fries and even threw in a free Dr Pepper shake!! I was visiting on Business from Canada and had never saw a Whataburger before Decided to try it and was very pleased that I did. The stuff were very friendly and took time to explain the menus to me. They brought my food to my table and it was delicious. Now that I've tried it I will definitely feel comfortable to drop into Whataburger anytime I see one. They have a great drive-thru that I saw from my hotel had steady traffic guessing I'm not the only one that likes this place

If you're traveling through Texas you have to go to Whataburger. Simply put it's a very delicious hamburger there are other things on the menu but the whole point of it is to get the burger that everybody raves about which I did and it lived up to its name. I wasn't disappointed at all it was delicious. August 8th 1950 is when it started up, and it's still going so there you go check out Whataburger if you're going through Texas.

Took advantage of current promotion. I had never tried their tacos . Don’t freak out when they tell you it’s going to be $7 per taco but if you are going to tell me I’m going to get either half or a whole breast I would say bring it,Lol. If you start to think 2 tacos of grill chicken for $7 it’s not bad plus they are delicious plus if you like picante sauce, even better. Service was good and the atmosphere or surroundings clean since I went through the drive through. I’ll do it again 2x1 kudos!!

We visited this Whataburger yesterday. It was very clean. The restrooms were very clean. We ordered the honey chicken breakfast sandwich. It was delicious. It was oozing with the honey sauce. Highly recommend. The lady at the counter was very nice and courteous. They bring your order to the table and they come armed with condiments to offer you.

We go here a lot, the food is always good, my only complaint is that there is always something wrong with the fountain drinks. The ice is weird and the soda is always flat.

Great place, usually busy but fairly quick service. Don't bother with the app. It's great to customize your order but you can't pick it up through the drive thru. You have to go inside, which is not convenient. Mcdonald's, burger King, Starbucks, Sonic, etc that have apps allow you to place your order through mobile and use the drive thru.

This is an above average quality Whataburger. I want to say Del Rio is a one Whataburger town, but dang, do they have a good one. Want your burger cut in half, toasted bread, plain and dry? You're gonna get it. Remarkable service for being out in the middle of nowhere.

I am a long time fan of this franchise. Messy burgers are my preferred manifestation of a fast and filling sandwich. Whataburger has been, for me, the most consistently proficient at providing such a palatable delight. Their menu choices are prolific. There is a sandwich to please most any carnivorous appetite. Soda fountain is self serve.

I I like that the food is consistent and it's not much of a wait. I also appreciate that the meat is 100% beef and I can order just the beef patty without the bread or anything else with it. They also have good salads.

Whataburger is hit or miss in del rio. Today the fries were cold and my wife's medium order of them contained more than my large size. Also her spicy chicken sandwich was pretty sad looking and even sadder tasting.

Whether you app order or drive thru you're gonna wait Thursday thru Saturday at the food is great;Monday thru Wednesday are just awful service & your order might not be edible or correct doesn't matter if it drive thru or lobby

Every time I visit Texas, I have to go to Whataburger! The best part? I love the food and my favorite part is that you can ask for jalapeños on the side which always add extra flavor to my meal. The worst part? At this location, the accuracy of orders and staff. I’ve been to a few of these restaurants but the one in Del Río gets 3 stars. My husband and I ordered and everything was fine but the rest of my family ordered separately and their orders were incorrect. We were told you could ask for Texas toast instead of the typical burger buns and I actually mentioned that to the girl behind the counter since my brother in law wanted to try that but she was kinda rude and didn’t seem to be listening. When they got their orders, they didn’t get Texas toast, they got the regular buns and they had grill marks on them. They still enjoyed their food but the missing stars are for the unfriendly staff and incorrect orders. Also, restaurant was a little dirty.

First time I am disappointed with Whataburger. When I went in there wasn't anyone at the counter. I could see them in the back and they saw me but they took their time. When someone finally came to take my order, he didn't apologize or greet me. That's not the service I expect and usually receive at a Whataburger. Next, they messed up my order, then they took forever to get to it. Funny thing, not, was that he took my order number and gave the number to someone else. So when they called the number I went up and they would not give it to me because it was not my order. After a long time they finally got my order to me. Staff didn't apologize and when we left they didn't say the usual"thanks for coming". Taquito eggs were over cooked, biscuits were overly salty. The staff messed up three other orders while I waited, so it wasn't just me. Not a good representation of the Whataburger experience.

Orders were wrong due to noise from other vehicles, playing loud music. I told the person, when she repeated the order, that i could not hear her and she just told me the amount and to drive to next window, I do not like to argue so I just accepted what they gave me. I will not go there so late next time.

This place patty melt is to die for, I always enjoy their spicy ketchup and malts. Service is luck of the draw depending in what time you go, food is on the more pricy scale but, is a better meal than most. They are always open, their speed if service is good and if you ask for extra condiments they give it to you gladly. No fuss no muss.

Always over crowded. Del Rio needs another Whataburger to offset the nonstop long waits. The food was good. The tables never get cleaned cause if ya grab one right after someone gets up, you will be standing a long time.

The staff were very friendly considering it was Thanksgiving evening. The drive thru had a line and so did the inside. Would rate higher but my order wasn't right and it wasn't that hot. They gave me a normal cheeseburger when I ordered extra pickles, no onions. Yes I scraped off the lettuce, tomatoes and onions. When I left, they were finally catching up to empty the overflowing trash cans.

CHECK YOUR ORDERS BEFORE LEAVING!!! We had temporarily boycotted Whataburger after two curbside orders in a row were incorrect and missing food. After almost three months, we just got home with our curbside order. Took 26 minutes longer than the time on the app said it would to be brought to our vehicle. Sat down at the kitchen table and opened up the bags. Two burgers missing!!! Manager asked us to drive back to the restaurant, no thank you!

It's hit or miss at this location. Today the fries were cold and dry. My Monterey melt salty and they had chopped the end of the bell pepper or whatever chile they use. The bun was not even warmed. I was very disappointed.

Don't get Whataburger often. We had been hitting alot since in Texas. Never really had a bad experience until now. We went around 8A.M. and ordered two Whataburger's with cheese meals. One no onions, one no pickle or mustard. Get back to hotel partners burger covered in onion. They make her physically ill to eat. So I chewed on a few fries and took it back forgetting to check mine. Get back hers is fixed but mine had loads of pickles and mustard. Didn't bother going back at this point was frustrated and needed to get on the road. This store definetly needs to train better on following orders.

The food was good as usual, but the customer service from the person taking my order and giving me my order was horrible. The person taking my order is supposed to try and up sale me more, but he kept asking if that is all. No, it's not. You see, I have a car full of people. Then, the guy handing me the food seemed like he was in a bad mood. When I asked for regular ketchup, he never gave it to me, and I asked for the honey butter sauce, and he said we don't have any. So I drove around and went inside the building to get the condiments, and another nicer young guy helped me and gave me the ketchup and honey butter that they were "out of." This is a regular occurrence with this young, skinny guy with long blond hair.

Special request on two meals and they STILL happened to NOT get it done correctly. Very simple remove and add-on but obviously it was too difficult for the person to read the order correctly.

A couple of my coworkers and myself order from the mobile app and we order before we go on our lunch break at 2am. Ut when we get there, we still have to wait for our food that should have been out the instant we drove to the window. But not only is the wait ridiculous for an online order but the food isn't fresh. Fries are cold, burger doesn't taste fresh either. It's disappointing that there are so few places to eat that are still 24 hours and their serving half-ass food. If you aren't going to provide 100% customer service, than maybe you shouldn't be open 24 hours.

“Manager” Daniel very rude, store messed up my whole order, and when I called only offered me a cheap dessert for my mess up Meal. Saying it’s my fault. Very rude, unprofessional and disgusting restaurant service.

Never going back. Their drive-thru speaker is so quiet sometimes you practically have to yell for them to hear you and you can barely hear them. They can never get an order right but will put the stickers on the outside so you have to open and check to see if it’s right.

Horrible. Crossed the border at 1:30 a.m., and waited more than 30 mins in the drive-thru line. We had not eaten for hours. We ordered 5 whatabugers and drove off, only to take a bite of pure salt. All 5 burgers were not edible due to them being so salty. We ended up throwing them away.

Our order was given to someone else, then the manager straight up lied to us. The order was returned by the other customers and was given to us. The manager kept us waitin while supposedly fries where being made fresh. The orde and tries where cold. I asked them to remake the order. I'm scared they are going to mess with it. I'm also asking for a refund.

Located very close to hotel and short walk. Are there three days in a row. All three days they got my order wrong. By the third day I was checking the order at the counter before walking away and being surprised. This is the worst Whataburger that I have ever been to you would think in a small town at the Whataburger service would be good and it is the worst. San Antonio has way better service than Del Rio these employees do not care if you wait. They are rude and they work so slow with no pride in their work. I waited 30 minutes in line with only about 5 cars ahead of me. When i was given my order we were rushed out of the line without even being able to check our order before hand. When I checked my food I was given the wrong order and it was completely inedible. The lettuce was extremely wilted and I had to LITERALLY peel it off of the top bun, the chicken filet was practically dripping its coater off from being so soggy, the mayo on it smelled rancid, and it was hard as a rock.

Very disappointed with the cashier that assumed I was parked in the curbside. I asked her why she assumed it was my car and her answer was I saw you get off. The car that was parked there wasn't mine. I asked to speak to the manager and he was ignorant about the situation, which caused me to get even more upset. I told him I would call corporate and tell them what he didn't do to correct the situation. It took forever to get my food and mine was cold. What a coincidence.
