Our food came out hot and delicious. Our server was very friendly and took great care of us. We had a table of 9 people, so her hands were full!
This was a great restaurant, really good food.
Landon is the best waiter/bar tender I've ever had. We walk in and he knows my drink without me even saying it. He absolutely deserves a raise and a bonus!! He always takes care of us, no matter what.
Great food as always. Service was great once our waiter realized we were there!
Their food is great. Service has really improved there as people have decided to go to work. We love the atmosphere. Margaritas are the bomb. Draft beer comes in two sizes. Great place to meet with friends. Plus they have a ice cream machine out in front. Couldn't ask for anything else.
Great food and and a really good waiter.
Update to the update: They called me and invited me to dine in. The food was fabulous and the service was good. Definitely a good dine in experience!! Update: The restaurant asked for my email for additional information. I provided it and after one week they never took any additional action. Takeout order was 20 minutes late and cold. They remade it and food was marginal at best.
Food was excellent. Service was top notch! Cameron was wonderful.
Service was fast and all staff were friendly. Angel was my server. Queso, salsa(s) and chips were fresh, hot and came out quickly. My plate was hot and fresh and more than I could finish, so some leftovers to take home.
Great food and service, just a little noisy.
I have been here on a handful of occasions. Good chips and salsa. The portions are big and will satisfy your appetite. Servers do a great job of keeping your beverages filled. You can also eat at the bar. Once again, excellent service was received. Friday and Saturday nights, as expected, are busy, but the wait time is minimal and the food and drinks are worth it.
My wife and I were driving through and heard about Jalapeño Tree. We absolutely loved the atmosphere. our waitress was a young lady named Angel. She’s the best. Chloe waited on us another night. She was very good as well.
Food is pretty good. I had a big takeout order, $150. They were super busy on a Saturday night. Online ordering was super easy, very convenient. Unfortunately got home without my salsa, so I called to complain. They asked how to make it right, I suggested just put money back on my card. They did it right away the next day and gave a very big refund for my trouble. Much more than the value of the salsa. Great customer support on this one
Foods usually pretty good. The server was exceptional
It is April 16th 2025. The food was awesome our waitress was awesome then my elderly friend and I each accidentally left our phones in the booth. We realized it 5 minutes after leaving the restaurant. We went back into the place the manager was in the restroom. He didn’t realize I seen him coming from there when I asked the sweet lady hostess. Anyhow he acted like he was trying to call my phone. He never did. The phones magically appeared said each phone was found on the commode. He lied his name is Marcus
Amazing food. Home made tortillas! Love it!
The food was pretty dang good. There was nothing I didn't like. Salsa wasn't my favorite, but that is a matter of opinion. My wife loved it, though. The service was top-notch. The waitress serving our huge party did it by herself and didn't miss a beat. It was overall a very good time. 👌
My favorite place to eat for my birthday food was great.
This place was really good. One of the few decent Tex mex places in the Sherman and Denison area that actually gives you good food. It’s cheaper to do the build your own combo plate than buying a combo plate that’s pre built. I usually don’t like salsa or care to eat it. But their jalapeño salsa is delicious. I also don’t like spicy food, this wasn’t spicy at all. The jalapeño cream salsa was actually edible. All in all, 5 out of 10. Definitely worth going here to get some good food. The service was also great. Our waiter was a sweet guy. Also nothing was expensive. Everything was affordable.
This was my first time at this restaurant and I can’t wait to go back. The food was delicious! Very good portions. The waitress who took care of our table was very pleasant and attentive. All around it was a very good experience! The only issue I would say is that the chips that they give you in the beginning is really thin and cracks so easily. We ordered the queso with meat as an appetizer and it was kind of hard to enjoy with a bowl of think crunched up chips. The charro beans which was a recommendation from the waitress were so good. The dip/sauce that came with my meal was really good too.
Very good Tex-Mex cuisine for a chain restaurant. The hostesses are a little slow but the wait staff is efficient and attentive. A good selection of menu items and the build your own lets you get what you want. One, two or three items plus rice and beans. The bar has a good selection of liquor from the standard bar type to premium selections. Of the other restaurants in this chain this is definitely the best.
We dropped in on our way back to DFW from Choctaw. We sat at the bar with Joey and he was fantastic! He was friendly and suggested some great things to try. We both got a “make your own plate” with tamales, tacos, and enchiladas dressed just the way we like them. Be sure to get a few flour tortillas with your meal. They’re made in house and fantastic. I would definitely eat here again!
Food was amazing, so was our waitress, Showana I want to say was her name. We have been several times in the past but this was the best it has ever been.
My server name was Nevaeh she was the most polite server i have came across in a long time, she got my order in and even helped suggest what was good, and I choose one the things she suggested and it was a very good meal. She kept making sure our cups were full and everything was going good, they was super busy and she just had the greatest smile and very calm. I would suggest if you go ask for her and know she is truly amazing I would 1000% recommend her and there establishment to everyone. I had a truely amazing time and loved my server.
Best Mexican Food and prices around won’t find better Carne Asada anywhere else period , amazing service and southern hospitality at its finest ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Chase is the best server. We love the chips and salsa. They quit carrying the nachos we liked but the fajitas are great
We really enjoy Jalapeño Tree. My kids especially love the green sauce. I gave a 4 only because service has been declining. They also changed the spicy sauce you have to ask for. 😁 I do recommend trying it out.
My wife and I went for dinner. Not only was the food amazing, our server Carlos was fantastic. He took incredibly good care of us and was extremely personable and friendly. We would go back just to visit with him. Great job Carlos and great job Jalapeno Tree Denison!
The host we stayed with recommended this place so we gave it a try. I had a veggie bowl that was a lot spicier than I anticipated, but still good. Veggies cooked perfectly! The kids meals are generous and priced fairly. The salsa and other dipping sauce were both good, as well, and our waiter kept them coming! Service was good, ambiance was good. Nothing spectacular, but worth a visit for good food and fair prices, especially for a large party.
I wanted some good mexican food and this place served just that. I walked in and waited about 5 minutes to be seated because people had reservations. No surprise, this place is awesome. The food was great and the cocktail I ordered was refreshing. The waiters/ waitresses were very attentive to the guests, including me as well, and the overall vibe of the restaurant is awesome. You can come here with your family or come here with some friends and hit the bar. This place is so good that I came here 2 nights in a row while I was staying in the Denison area for those nights. Thank you Jalapeno Tree for making my stay in Denison better!
Visited again, and took friends that had never dined there. As usual the food was top notch, and drinks huge. Great meal as always! Wish we had one closer to us.

We love this place. Classic Tex Mex. Always great. Order is always correct and friendly staff.
Amazing service. They truly care. Enjoy the Star plates and recommend for anyone who enjoys the food.

The food was great, it was covered in grease, and gave me heart burn, but Im old so that was going to happen anyways. The service was wonderful, and our waitress was a delight. Very enjoyable trip. 🙂
Very tasty Tex-Mex. Took about 20 minutes to get the food and it was almost hot with fire. Spice was ok. I went through two small bowls of picante and 2 small bowls of green sauce before the meal came.
Good food! The usual Tex Mex offerings. Bottomless chips are very crisp and tasty. Our server was overly attentive and came to the table more than necessary. We were a bit annoyed, but others might appreciate the attention.
Tortillas are so fresh, I think they picked them straight from the Japalino Tree!!
The food was amazing, but the service has been very slow recently. I wonder if they're short on staff, since one time a guy with apron who looked like a chef served the food himself instead of our waitress. It can take 40 minutes or more for the food to arrive, so try to place all your order as soon as you sit down. The receptionist didn't seem to speak good English. He had pretty thick accent and was wearing a mask, so it was hard to understand what he was saying. The plates he brought for us also looked a bit dirty with obvious water stains. Their chips and dip were pretty good, which made the wait less boring. The beef fajita was tender and flavorful and the guac was fresh. They also serve this alcohol that combines beer with margarita. There's also an ice cream machine at the door, so you can take a free ice cream cone to go for free. The restaurant has been a nostalgic place for some good family memories, and we remember that it used to have better logistics. We saw a hiring sign outside, so hopefully they can expand their staff soon, give them a good pay to retain them and thus to ensure quality service.
The food was delicious..service was fast and friendly...but was uncomfortablely cold
I took the Littles here for supper and one wanted a hamburger and one wanted a taco. Both enjoyed their meals. I chose a build your own combo with a crunchy taco, puffy taco, and 2 enchiladas.
Tried this place while on a bike ride through Denison. For the facility, there's plenty of parking, the dining room is clean, there a bar area for those that partake and has appropriate decor. The staff is very attentive and have a positive demeanor. The food was delicious. The portions were unexpectedly large. I'm over an hour away but plan to drive my wife here for dinner. I recommend giving it a try.
Food: we had a party of 12 so it took some time since it all comes out at once, but it was pretty quick. Im sure for a smaller group it would have been much faster. Service: our waitress was on point and quick. Man she was on top of everything. 20% tip. Atmosphere: it was jumping, even on new year day. Happy smiling people, calm, and had no issues.
We love the Denison location, and come up to 3-4 times a week. The staff is simply amazing. The only thing we don't love is that we have asked and asked for some good bourbon at the bar, specifically Woodford. I know the management it's working on it, but it's a shame we have to go to other local restaurants to get decent bourbon 😥
The Jalapeno Tree is a popular restaurant chain that specializes in Mexican cuisine. Overall, it has a good reputation for serving tasty and authentic Mexican dishes. One of the standout items on the menu is the fajita bowl, which I enjoyed. This dish includes a combination of grilled meats, with sautéed onions and peppers, served over a bed of rice and beans. I appreciate the generous portion sizes and flavorful seasoning of the fajita bowl. Another highlight of The Jalapeno Tree is its selection of salsas. I've enjoyed both the green and red salsa. Many diners rave about the freshness and bold flavors of the salsas, which can be a great addition to any meal. While The Jalapeno Tree is generally well-regarded, some customers have noted that the prices can be a bit high compared to other Mexican restaurants. However, most people agree that the quality of the food justifies the cost. Overall, if you're a fan of Mexican cuisine and are looking for a satisfying meal, The Jalapeno Tree is a decent choice. The fajita bowl and salsas are particular favorites, and the restaurant's reputation for quality and authenticity make it a reliable option for a tasty Mexican meal.
This place had been going down in quality since my last review. It became just a place to fill a void. Then, recently, it became very good. There must be new management. Good tacos, rice, beans, …
Service was ok near closing time so a little rushed. Your was your basic Tex mex and fajitas. If you need a quick fix maybe worth your while.

Pretty solid Mexican place. Good margs, good chips and salsa, very large burrito, solid pricing

Fast service. Large portions. Good food, and the price was right. We were very impressed with the lunch and the service.
Walk in to food at the table was exactly 1 hour, Salsa was eh okay little sour the red one was the white sauce was not a fan of, now the special hot salsa was top shelf amazing. The caso was not worth the price. We got the one that was supposed to come in a bread bowed and it did not. Sweet tea was good. Now to the food not much to say other then plates where extremely hot but the food was not, the food was blan not alot or any season on it.
I’ve looked forward to dining here for the past 9 years. I took my out of state family here last week. They tried to order ala carte items. They were told the items they wanted were not sold ala carte. There was no reasonable explanation why - just “that item isn’t sold ala carte”. Looking back, I wish we had just gotten up and left. So disappointing. I won’t be returning.
I'm going to try this place again because everyone has off days. I went in around three pm and I was seated immediately. I waited almost thirty minutes before my waiter came to my table. My experience was pleasant after the unexpected wait. The waiter said there was some confusion due to shift change.
Funny service , a bit messy inside Thought the dipping sauces where a little bland Really good rice and beans Wouldn’t order the Chile relleno’ again Chile was hard. Batter on the outside was not traditional. Had to wait a bit after my food was served to request silverware All in all pretty mediocre
If you are going to ask your guests to wait 30 minutes to be seated, please have a sitting area for them to wait. The front entrance where we stood waiting looked like a storage room and it was a solid 30 minutes to get a table! Now, things changed when the salsa and chips came out. It was prompt and tasty, although the chips were a bit thin. I don't care for the giant plexiglass between booths.. it's gross. I tried to focus on the cool wall decor while waiting for entrees...very nice. What made all difference was the excellent service and the food. It was good TexMex and I enjoyed it.
Here lately all I want is Mexican food! So I'm on the hunt for the best Mexican food around. This was a decent meal for me I enjoyed my cheese enchiladas. Although my husband had a different dining experience. Being allergic to tomatoes and loving Mexican food is difficult so we always ask what the sauces made with process Tomatoes or Raw. To begin with my waitress had no idea which was in the sauce and informed us wrong. I'm glad I took a bite before him. He ordered the jalapeno taco salad. The first plate of food brought to him was it what you ordered because the girl didn't bothered to write it down. After the manager came and fixed the problem. He went to enjoy his meal period in a taco salad you normally find meat. I guess this is a vegetarian salad because the meat you see on top is all that was in the bowl the rest was huge chunks of lettuce. My husband enjoys Taco Casa more than this place I definitely won't be bringing him back here.
Not super impressed this time. I had something they call Fajita Chicken Enchiladas. Sounds really great.. when it came to the table, it was plain cheese enchiladas topped with grilled fajita chicken. It was interesting, but it really didn't have that "crazy good Mexican food" flavor they boast about. Service, however was stellar! Always great service! We will definitely return!
Food has gone downhill again. No compliment chips with meal. Food was blah at best! Won't come back.
Our server was very slow and we had to remind him about things we had asked for previously, then took forever to bring it. Then at the end he took our money for payment, came back 8 minutes later and asked if we wanted our change?! Then took another 7 minutes to bring it! Do not ever assume that the change is all yours!
Edited: I went back and tried the fajitas and the meat was overly salty and tasted mosty of pepper. Nothing was fresh. And we didn't get our drinks from the bar until we were ready to leave, it wasn't even busy. Will not be returning. I really tried to love it since the ambiance is great! The building and decor were really festive. We sat at the bar, and the service was good. The drinks were decent, according to my son. I had the shrimp bowl, and it was not awful, but the shrimp was the pre-cooked frozen type and not grilled. The rice was over-cooked instant style. The cheese was cool and stuck like a big clump on the shrimp. It was very greasy. Maybe I should have ordered the fajitas but they were overpriced in my opinion.

The restaurant is dated. A once popular eatery has fallen in steep decline. I was getting dinners to go, so I took a seat at the bar. I was the only customer in the bar. For my first ten minutes, even the bartender was absent. I ordered the two dinners to go and a Texas tea for my wait. The drink was way off and nothing special about the food. Taco Bell would have been a better choice.
I ordered two chicken enchiladas (normally has white sauce) and to put cheese or white sauce on the rice, they covered everything with chili sauce 🙄 other than the chili sauce the food was alright.. rice was a little baked from the lamps as I had crunchy bits.. not really worth $10 - $15 though. Also their hours haven't changed since COVID so they are closed on Wednesdays.. so you might want to update that 2005 schedule.
This was my first and last time at Jalapeño Tree; a bootleg experience from the entrance and throughout the meal. I couldn't believe the tacky decor even though outside is a bright yellow cartoonist looking building. 🤦🏾♂️ One of the condiments on every table is a bottle of squeezable (non-refrigerated) Parkay margarine. 😳 ABSOLUTELY UNREAL! Lastly the food is very forgettable, subpar nachos prepared as if by an imprisoned chef with limited resources. Only bright spot was a friendly waitress. 👍🏾 This is an restaurant experience you do NOT want. THEY SHOULD BE CLOSED EVERYDAY NOT JUST WEDNESDAY. ⚠️
Service just isn’t like it use to be. Had to ask for way too many things that he should’ve know was needed. Maybe he’s just in experienced.
Food was not great. The chips and "salsa" was lacking any spice at all (and I don't do spicy) tasted like a marinara sauce. The green sauce was more of a cream sauce (maybe a change in recipe). Enchilada sauce flavor was off a bit compared to a year ago, less of a tex mex but not quite Mexican food. Not the worst but was disappointed compared to past experiences
The service is hit and miss depending on the mood of the server. Wether their fighting with one another or not. The food is good only good if the right manager is on duty. It is possible the food can be good. Although on my last visit I was served the worst brisket tacos I've ever seen. They were like tasteless unrecognizable meat covered in dish water. That is the only way I could describe it.
Great food, but unfortunately the customer service is consistently disappointing when we dine in. It’s one of the main reasons we don’t visit more often - even though we’d really love to, because the food is great.
I should have known that a Mexican place with parkay on the tables wasn't a good idea, but I was there and hungry. I ordered to go at the bar, the bartender took a long time to acknowledge me and never really greeted me. I ordered and then waited. My order finally arrived and a manager rang me up and handed over my dinner and to go marg. The burrito had the wrong sauce after I specified TWICE what I wanted. The box is chips and salsa were placed sideways in the bag and spilled all over and soaked thru the bag. The burrito was easily the blandest, worst I've ever had. I would take taco bell over this whyte people version of Tex Mex. The refried beans had no flavor, the chili sauce on the burrito supplied what flavor it had but don't forget I ordered ranchero sauce. Won't be back again.
One of the worst food experiences I've ever had in Denison. My wife and I went here one time about a year ago and found the food incredibly bland and tasteless. Today we had a few moments for lunch and thought we would give it a second try. It was a mistake. I ordered the tortilla soup and beef Taco combo. The soup had almost no flavor and was served lukewarm. The taco was 99% iceberg lettuce and had virtually no flavor either. Not even the tortilla chips seemed fresh or tasty. A quick barometer I use to consider a place is to see if any employees are smiling. I didn't see one smile or one hint of happiness on any of the employees. We came in for a 1:00 lunch so there wasn't a big lunch crowd at that point. Lots of servers, but those that were there didn't seem too interested about why we weren't eating much of our food. Since there are many other options for good Mexican food within a mile or two of this place, we won't be returning.

Chips were good, salsa tasted like tomato sauce…. The shrimp on top of the shrimp enchiladas were good but the enchiladas themselves seemed to be stuffed with American cheese or some other super low quality cheese. I couldn’t finish them.
Well me and the hubby went to spend our 10 year anniversary weekend at one of our favorite restaurants without our kiddos (it’s been awhile we have 4) and I have to say it was one of the worst experiences we have ever had from the moment we walked in the door. We asked for a booth because the chairs hurt my back the lady told me it was gonna be 10-15 mins because all the tables was dirty I can see several staff sitting over by the bar area she walks off to where they are the manager walks up to us and seats us immediately at a booth. Takes a few min before waitress comes to take our drink order when she does she is not friendly nor happy and seems in rush. Then takes forever to bring drinks to us. We immediately knew what we wanted since we waited so long for the drinks but we also wanted Queso which wasn’t asked when she took our drink order. So we waited and waited and waited some more our queso finally comes out but comes out with our food but at this point. We have no chips we have no refills our food is out but I ordered fajitas but didn’t have tortillas so I asked if I could get tortillas with my fajitas since it’s suppose to go with it so I see her walk to where they are made and I can see her and the lady that makes the tortillas get into some type of argument I’m waiting another 5 min before I can eat my food get my tortillas finally my food taste like it has been sitting under a heat lamp it didn’t taste fresh at all so wind up not finishing any of it didn’t even touch the queso because it came out when the food did. Then had to pay the $10 for queso I didn’t even get to eat because they brought it out to late. Just a horrible experience especially for such a special occasion.
Waited an hr to get our food. When the guy running the bar said something to our waitress she said you wait on them I’m busy! We got our food 35 min later, the manager comes out asks what the problem is , we told him how long we waited he says well we’re really busy. I counted 5 empty tables in our area. Never going back or recommending this place. Went to Burger King for happy service at 9pm.
This place is filthy dirty. You stick to the floor upon entering. We had a party of six three of our plates had food crusted to it, and yet the host still set them down on the table. It resulted in all of us unanimously leaving. We all got up and left. Will not be returning
1 beef taco salad and sweet tea 1 chicken taco salad and a sweet tea That was our entire order and it was $40. Go to taco bell. The food taste better and you dont have to wait for refills.
The food was good but service was the worst service I ever had waitress was useless no drinks order was wrong paid no mind to us but gave other 100% don't know her problem but I left her a great tip 1 penny that's all she was worth as a server in my mind now they lost a customer
Not even close to real Mexican food or vibe had to go to a other restaurant after a takeout from here the portions were extremely small & m not a giant i ordered two combo. It feels awful when need to wait + 40min for pick up while travelling , not to forgot over pricey for quantity
Denison location Waited 40 minutes for an online pickup order. Order was placed at 9:30am this morning for 2:30pm. We arrived and asked about the order and it hadn’t even been started. We waited for 40 minutes for them to make and box up for that is typically ready in 10 minutes when you eat at the restaurant. A complete and total fail. This location needs to get a new manager that is willing to focus their time on services offered because their Togo system is BROKEN. P.S To boot… the green sauce has gone bad and literally smells as rotten as it tasted. Definitely not a good experience and have been customers for a long time so not a one off. This place is going downhill!
We arrived early and wanted to sit in the bar. In the big Booths. Approximately four or 5 o’clock The greeter did not like that, and apparently our waitress did not either. Terrible service and the worst food I’ve ever had there and we’re both sick today from eating It’s been a while since I’ve been there, but the food was always delicious but yesterday it was horrible. I will not be back.
Good food, good waiter staff. Went to pay with a gift card and was told they had run out of money. Unused, over time, they will lose all value. Over$100 in gift cards gone. The manager did nothing to make our visit better. We were told a VP would reach out to us and have not heard from one yet.
I’ve been coming here routinely for over four years-usually once a month. I’ve only had good service here two or three times. From getting a host to seat you, to delays in getting chips and salsa or tortillas, putting cheese on my “no cheese” meals (food allergy), to the length of time it takes to get food and the check? Don’t expect this to be an in/out in 45 minute type of place. Tonight we got there at 5:50-the place was virtually empty because everyone, everyone, was waiting in the lobby to be seated. Even once those tables were seated, after 30 minutes we just got our water. I don’t usually leave an establishment-but tonight I’d had enough.
WTH terrible food. Wait time was terrible with no one in dining area. I could say a lot more
Was the experience ever! The Bloody Mary had no ingredients other than extra Worcestershire sauce. The taco salad was awful. I still can’t understand how you mess it up. The tables smelt like wet dog. That tells me no clean cleaning supplies. The sweet tea taste awful. The waitress was very friendly.
I sat there for 20 minutes and not even a drink order i watched the wait staff and manager all sit in a corner and hangout while i sat there and waited after sitting there for 20 minutes a few couples came in and were immediately served and asked for there order it might be different if they were busy
Gonna start by saying I have ate at this establishment atleast 100 times over the years and has always been a good experience. However over the last several months I have noticed a decline in the service. Went on a Friday night and it took an hour to get our food. I sit for 30 minutes with an empty drink while the waitress walked past several time. When the food came out (ultimate nachos) all of the fajita meat was cold. The chicken, beef, and shrimp. The cheese was already thickened back up and pretty much the whole plate was room temperature. Not sure how long it sit ready to go before it was brought out. Again it took an hour to get our food so there is a possibility it sit for quite a while. With that said I don't believe I will be returning with my family. To pay that kind of money for a cold meal is ridiculous. I chose to just put it in a to go box and heat it up at home rather than returning the meal and not knowing what happens to it behind closed doors.... Just 100% disappointed in how this place has done a complete 180. Pretty sure it's under new management and apparently he isn't doing something right
It is 2021 almost 2022. When you are served chips at any Mexican Restaurant, you get both queso and salsa. Not here. You have to order for an extra $5 queso which tastes like velveta cheese from the store, not Mexican style. The salsa is mediocre. The meal was okay. I asked for grilled onions on my meal. They were sauté style and not even close to being grilled. Another issue is I'm certain they put an entire onion on and in my meal due to asking for "some" grilled onions to be added to the top. Honestly the best part about the meal was it ending and me leaving. Not sure how this place has been opened for 27 years. The Taco Bell just a block away would have been a better more authentic Mexican Restaurant to eat at. Added is a photo of the "some" onions I asked for. That large pile was mostly inside my cheese enchiladas, I mean onion enchiladas with a small amount of cheese. By far the worst Mexican Restaurant I've ever been to. Guess the saying everything is better in Texas missed this place.
Got sat got chips and waited 30 minutes and no one came to get us drinks. Place is absolutely shit will not be back.
We had the beef fajitas which came out medium rare ( which is good ) but something was off with the texture. You could literally pull the medium rare meat apart by pinching it; like it was composed of meat glue. Now unless this was over-marinated In pineapple juice, us beef eaters know this is strange for skirt steak as it's not pinch-thru tender. Flavor was good however. Sadly the best thing we had were the chips and green salsa. It's so good. Service was outstanding however. Wonderful team working there.
The worst customer experience by far. You have the rudest staff that hate their jobs. The waiter wants to approach my table with my family and tell me I look like a kid and mind you I am there with my husband and 2 kids. She acted like we were bothering her by being there. If you don’t like your job find a new one. She gave part of our order to a different table. When she took our order she put it in wrong. My daughter order two enchiladas and she brings them out on separate plates. Who wants food on separate plates. Then the other waiter who brought the food was even worst then the original waiter when I tell her it was supposed to be two enchiladas on one plate she slams down the plate and said I’m done and walks off. When asking to speak to a manager she tells the manager we had a problem with the queso, because that is what he stated when approached our table. When that was clearly not the problem is was the way my family was being treated and how we were spoken to by staff. This was by far the most unprofessional and unpleasant experience. Need to retrain staff to know what customers service means. I will never come back to this establishment and will tell everyone not to come here.
We went the Denison Location and it hasn’t changed one bit! The quality of taste in food is terrible. It’s not that good anymore (Denison location). It’s like there is no passion in making good Mexican food anymore. I don’t recommend this place at all. The chip and salsa needs an upgrade as well. If you don’t have a good chips and salsa Houston we have a problem!!!
