Rudy's is a popular local BBQ spot known for its good food at a reasonable price and quick service. The brisket, especially the moist brisket, is a standout. Sides are generally considered underwhelming. Service is frequently praised as friendly and efficient.

Great service and good food! Brisket is great, shout out to Brooklyn! 😋🍖
No frills bbq... but the food was exceptional. Dont look at the place or low prices just go get the food. I am from the northeast and I had Brisket. Just straight brisket on wax paper. I wish I could have gone back here for another visit but was not near where I was staying. Great food! Others had Turkey sandwich and both also from northeast and bit bbq lovers but also commented in great sandwich. Great service. If in the area this place is worth checking out!
Staff was super courteous and made us feel welcome. (Even though we came in at 10 mins before closing). They welcomed us with smiles and took good care of us. Great job team!!
I simply cannot say enough about Rudy’s . I have never come to this location and been disappointed. The barbecue is always great. Infact it’s one of my family’s favorite places to visit in Denton. The restaurant is always clean and they continuously pass the vibe check! Huge Thank you to the staff at Rudy’s for always making us feel welcome and providing high level food and service!

The girl in the drive through yesterday was very nice and attentive. I’m not sure if she’s a manager or employee, but she is wonderful! I’m pretty sure her name is lily. Thank you for the wonderful experience!
Not all Rudy’s are the same! This one right here gives Rudy’s their GREAT name! I appreciate y’all putting your heart and soul into what you do. It shows and I’ll be back! If you haven’t been here, you need to stop in and check them out. Brisket was perfection. You won’t be disappointed
The breakfast tacos are already amazing. I wish they were a little bit bigger for the price though. If you're buying breakfast for the whole crew, it can put a dent in the pocket. But there is a little secret about those breakfast tacos that you'll have to go inside to figure out. Those who are regulars already know. 😉
First time in on 4/19 for dinner. The cashier behind the counter in the market (Kyle?) welcomed us and was so helpful in explaining how the menu worked. The food was a bit expensive and was okay in taste. The staff was excellent. They offer free grilled cheese sandwiches for kids which is a nice touch for families. Lots of people so it seems to be a local favorite which is good - just not mine. The staff gets the 5 stars, the meal would get 4, the price would get 3.
We stopped in passing thru. Was clean.. Food and service were great! Workers were friendly and seemed to enjoy their job! Which is rare nowadays! Thanks Rudy's crew for being awesome!
Rudy's " Country Store & BBQ " 520 South Highway 35 Frontage Road East Denton Texas @ 06:10 PM ON 13TH OF APRIL 2025 Server: Kenneth B. With a busy restaurant environment, Kenneth is knowledgeable about the menu and able to answer questions with a positive attitude, and was able to handle customer requests with Grace and efficiently. I recommend this particular Rudy's and location and hopefully you can get Kenneth B as a server. Kenneth B. He was also successful, due to the people behind the scenes. I hope management can see this reporting and hopefully give him a 3% increase. Kenneth, whomever you are keep up the good work. Wish a great success in whatever you have in-store for life. Great place/ good vibe. Cory and Hannah are very attentive managers Cheddar cheese sausage is incredible Get the sausage with fresh flour tortillas. Don’t forget to add the Green Sauce
This Rudy's in Denton was awesome. The restaurant is clean and the staff are professional and friendly. The brisket was outstanding. (I recommend the moist brisket) The prices are fair and the beer is on ice. The potato salad, Cole slaw, and beans compliment the main course very well. I highly recommend stopping in and checking it out for yourselves. You won't regret it.
I would give any attention to the reviews of J. Garrison who regularly gives three stars or less to independently owned establishments while lauding corporate bunk. She doesn't know BBQ by her post here - moist means fat not trimmed - moist is fatty - everybody but J. Garrison knows this. *********** Rudy's is a staple in Texas with some of the best BBQ in the South. All of the menu items are typical Texas and Southern recipes known and loved for generations of folks like us from Texas and the South. We don't listen to the advice of Yankees or transplants from California and we enjoy our Texas traditions. For those who don't know or like BBQ there's a McDonald's down the street that should meet your culinary expectations. We've never had a bad meal at any Rudy's in Texas and will be visiting the Denton location this afternoon. Thank you for all of your diligent work ensuring nutritious Texas cuisine.
Food was great, a lot of options and very well priced. The atmosphere had a very southern rustic vibe and was nice for kids for sure. The jalapeño sausage,
I attend the Denton Noon Kiwanis meeting here on Tuesdays at noon. I have eaten their BBQ here a few times and I like it. I gotta be real for a second though, I am a huge breakfast taco guy and I like the one's at Rudy's. I don't often eat lunch, but man I was craving some the last time I was here and was surprised to learn at noon they are 50% off. I don't mind sharing this deal, but don't go telling g everyone or at least leave some for me!
💯 We will be back! Everyone and everything was so together 😀❤️! When I say teamwork makes the DreamWork they had it all together! I really see the love and felt it in this wonderful 💗 restaurant 😊🤗. And they followed the government all the way! Oh and the bathrooms was clean very well I give two thumbs up 👍👍
Good evening, I placed an order with you today, number 1603221. Everything was excellent, except for the creamed corn, which was extremely watery and not creamy as expected. It might be worth reviewing this with the kitchen team. Thank you!
Rudy's is the best chain BBQ on the planet Earth. Don't believe me at your dining peril, from breakfast tacos to green chili stew it's just amazing! Now let's talk about moist brisket with burnt ends. That's my food Before Anything Else, Rudy's gets it perfect. The complex flavors, the crust the moist succulent brisket it's Brazilian steak house good, it's Kobe steak good and it's $9 for half a pound. Here's the part that isn't specific to the Denton location, that old time Texas attention and service. It's not everywhere in Denton but isn't as rare here as it is in Houston, Dallas or Austin. The folks at Rudy's in general and this location especially are just as much a delight as the incredible food. They have online ordering, a drive thru and the normal go inside fun. So 21st century meets yesteryear Texas charm.
Excellent brisket! One of the best I ever had, and I love brisket and try it wherever I can. They may need to improve sides, but it does not matter that much if you are after a tender and juicy brisket.
I love this place! The food is absolutely delicious, and the workers are so nice and welcoming. I would definitely recommend trying the Jalapeño Chedder sausage. The moist brisket sandwich is also a great option. The Rudy’s beans are a must and go so well with all of the meat options.
Best BBQ in Texas. Babyback ribs are a must. Make sure and take home a bottle of sauce. Turkey is great and there is lean and moist brisket. Prime rib and peppered tenderloin on Friday and Saturday until they run out. Regular and spicy sausage. White and wheat bread available. Sweet corn, Cole slaw, potato salad. Several types of ribs. Very good selection of meats. Cost is by the pound so be careful it's easy to over buy. But you can always take it home. Eat of off paper plates, and everything is delivered at counter when you order in a basket.
Great franchised BBQ. Fantastic brisket, juicy sausages, savory ribs, and great side fixings. Cream corn made with cream. The desserts should not be skipped. Banana pudding is great but the peach cobbler is a must! A decent selection of beers sitting on ice for your choosing. Came to Denton on business and was please to have a Rudy' s so close by. Don't skip it!
Took my wife here for her birthday lunch. The place was practically empty but the food was fantastic! I hate dry meat so I get the moist brisket every time. Combine their white bread with some mayonnaise, onions, pickles, moist brisket and their Sissy sauce if you don’t like spicy. If you like a little kick, use their original sauce. It’s a very straightforward restaurant and the staff is well mannered.
Great food! Great Atmosphere! Friendly Employees! Really enjoyed the turkey breast, pulled pork, potato salad, Rudy's beans and banana pudding. The banana pudding has a lot of whipped topping. Needs less whipped topping and more banana pudding. 👍🤠👍
It is easy to miss the driveway into the restaurant so be on the lookout or you will pass it. The staff was SUPER nice. This was our 1st time here so they explained the menu & process. They also helped us by giving suggestions on what to order. We got the brisket, turkey, potato salad, & cream corn. It was really good with a good flavor. I tried the sauces but preferred the meat without. Good atmosphere with a fun dining room.
I rand out of time and spoons to smoke a brisket for a pot luck. The staff assisted me in a potluck deception and packaged it in a way that made it look like I plausibly *could* have cooked this brisket. Thank you, accomplices!
I have gone to 3 different Rudy's. They are very consistent from the food to the service. I absolutely recommend it. They give you a nice size portion. The brisket is juicy, flavorful, and lean upon request. It doesn't require sauce either. It's the best I've had. Their ribs are delicious, both pork and beef. The customer service definitely rivals CFA's customer service.
FANTASTIC SERVICE! I was met at the front door, by a smiling cashier in the gift shop, quick pickup area. I told her that I had never been there. She explained how the menus had changed a little because of Covid. She also shared her personal favorite menu item: Green Chili Stew. Went to the next counter and ordered. More great service. Employees walking by said hi before the cashier took my order. We ordered 2 chopped sandwiches and a small Green Chili Stew to go. Sandwiches were generous and had great flavor! Rudy’s offers 2 different sauces on the side, Original and “Sissy Sauce”. On a spice level, I top out at about a 3 out of 10. Tried and loved the Original, it’s nearly a perfect sauce just a touch sweet for me but has a nice kick. But to be fair to Sissy Sauce, I saved the last few bites of my sandwich to test Sissy. No bite and FULL OF FLAVOR. As for the Green Chili Stew... she did not say it was her favorite without merit. The biggest problem with the stew however, eat it with a fork or a spoon! It is very hearty. Think entree not side. It would be worth the trip just to get the stew. I do disagree with $$ rating. Very reasonable. High quality and flavorful food delivered in a spacious, clean restaurant. (They should put more pickle slices in the To Go cups. I grabbed 3! Oh, and they do not have okra.)
Always delicious always great service! Poorly located but worth the zig zag you need to drive to get there.

Good local bbq. Nothing fancy. Good food for the money. In and out quickly. Sides are underwhelming but the meat is really good.

This is one of my favorite BBQ restaurants in Texas. The food is usually amazing at all their locations. I stopped by today to grab a smoked potato with brisket and coleslaw. The coleslaw was great and the smoked potato with brisket is usually really good however my potato was kind of cold and hard as well as the brisket and when I let the staff know about it they were unable to heat it up more and did not offer to replace it so I had to eat it cold. This is why I gave 4 stars instead of 5.
Everything I expect a BBQ "joint" to look like. Staff was excellent. Brisket tasted fantastic. It was a little tight. The beans were just OK. Potato salad and Bannana pudding, yum!
I had high hopes for this BBQ spot, and while there were some hits, there were also a few misses. The brisket is fantastic—tender and flavorful, just as it should be. The pulled pork has a good flavor too, making it a solid choice. However, I was disappointed that the BBQ sauce is prepackaged; I prefer something more homemade. Now, onto the sides: no mac & cheese, which was a letdown for me. The creamed corn wasn’t worth it, and the corn-on-the-cob seemed like it had been sitting in water for too long. The cole slaw and potato salad were pretty standard—nothing special, just your average side dishes. Overall, the meat is where this place shines, but the sides and sauce left me wanting more. If they could step up their game there, it could be a real winner.
I eat a lot of BBQ - I also smoked a lot of BBQ myself. Rudy's BBQ is one of the places I regularly go too, mostly due to their consistency and never failing to be good! Rudy's is a chain restaurant but their prices are decent and their BBQ is consistently above average. Of course I have had better but if you want a decent BBQ meal for a price that matches the quality and you want it consistently, this is the place for you! This time around I got the lean sliced brisket and jalapeno sausage. The service was quick and friendly, no complaints and it's always been that way. The jalapeno sausage was really good, the skin was a little tough and I would have preferred more moisture but overall excellent taste. The brisket - the brisket was good. There was a good smoke ring as always and you can smell the smoke as you walk up to the restaurant. The brisket was just a tad dry, and lack some flavor but was cooked perfectly. The BBQ sauce is one of my favorites and I even have some in my fridge at home this very moment. The sauce is sweet and has a little kick of spice, I absolutely love this stuff. Where this place gets a homerun is again their ability to put out good to excellent BBQ consistently and never letting you down for the price you pay. I will be going back to this place in the future until it starts to fail me. Overall it's an great BBQ joint - much better then some of its competitors around that area but still not the best in the DFW metroplex.
Decent. No smoke smell inside, and no real smoke flavor in the pork ribs. Maybe it was an off day? I am not certain I will be back. I know BBQ is expensive but I didn't feel my $20 lunch plate was anywhere near the value for the price. Tried the sauces and they were okay as well. Definitely not winning any awards for anything served here. But then again should I expect greatness from a chain? Nah.
We just ordered through DoorDash and received Moist Brisket instead of Regular lean brisket ordered. I do not eat fatty brisket, so I had to mark that I did not receive the Regular lean brisket I ordered at all. (It is a bit ridiculous that if you click 'incorrect order' DoorDash only offers to give you $3 back. I will not eat the brisket given, so I am out $13, which is why I had to click that I never received the Regular lean brisket.) I know this is set up through Door Dash, but since you do business with them, I believe it would be good to know.
Had no clue what this place was from the highway and was hoping for a novelty store when I stopped. However, pretty much just a BBQ joint. Which well, nothing wrong with that either. Pay by the pound concept and the staff were INCREDIBLY helpful as I was a virgin. They even offered me samples of their best sellers in the protein department! Actually, the customer service and atmosphere was better than the food. It was good, just not fantastic. The lean brisket was way too dry and the moist a bit fatty. Even though it did not look appetizing, the sausage was excellent. I would go back for the sausage but not the brisket. Kinda fun to eat right off wax paper and help yourself to their pickle and onion bar. Plenty of sauces to sample with as well. And the bread comes portioned out in bags! All in all, the price was excellent as well.
I grew up in the BBQ so I am critical especially with chain restaurants but there layouts are great for big parties and green chilli soup along assortment of sides and breakfasted tacos are unique.

Charged too much over the menu price. The meat was dry and tasteless. Have had a decent meal here before but, this was a big disappointment. Trashed most of the meal.

My husband and I had the brisket sandwich and jumbo baked potato with brisket. The sandwich was good, but the bun was too small for the amount of meat. They really do need to have larger buns. The potato was advertised as "jumbo", but it was just a large normal potato. Just be aware, you're not going to get one of those enormous potatoes that some BBQ restaurants serve. The brisket and potato were both good. We'd eat here again, but it wouldn't be our first or even second choice.
It's been 20 years and I swear they marinated their meat in the diesel. A friend said to give it another try. The diesel is gone and the food tastes much better, but the pricing and such makes no damn sense. Maybe I'll try again in another 20 years.
My wife and I have always enjoyed visiting Rudy's Country Store in Denton, TX. We’ve been there numerous times and have even made it a part of our holiday traditions, seeking a pleasant change. Today, on Sunday morning, November 10th, we decided to visit once more. My wife ordered a small peach cobbler and a breakfast taco, and I decided to try a brisket sandwich. Instead of taking it to go as planned, we chose to enjoy our meal in the store, hoping to create a wonderful Sunday morning memory. Unfortunately, my brisket sandwich was disappointing. The brisket appeared to be of poor quality, which was disheartening given our high regard for your establishment. We have always appreciated Rudy’s for its consistent quality, and it’s so easy to get this right. I hope that in the future, Rudy's will ensure that every customer receives the same quality of food that the staff would want for themselves. We cherish our visits to Rudy’s and hope to continue creating fond memories there. Thank you for your attention to this matter.
Brisket cooked 10-12 hours (per Rudys) is not long enough. We cook our 12-16 lb (pre-trim) briskets for minimum 18 hours. I asked for a moist sandwich and it was far from moist. In fact it had sinewy stuff in it. The ribs were also dry. Potato salad was ok. Fixed my BBQ jones, but just barely. 😒 Atmosphere was smokey with back door open, allowing in flies.
I come to Rudy's about once a month and always do drive through. I've never had a problem until recently. We ordered 2 chopped brisket sandwiches and we got sliced. Because they were sliced they had a lot of fat (i dont like this on my sandwiches) at the ends which caused me to take the sandwich apart and cut that part off. I've never had any issues and just figured they were having an off day. Will still come back at some point, hopefully they get it right next time. See yall soon!
Consistently good BBQ. It is not on par with unique BBQ joints like the Pecan Lodge however it never has disappointed. Updated... 11/07/22. Ordered pound of ribs and moist brisket. Brisket was poorly cut with about 1/3 burnt badly and not very moist. Ribs were over peppered, luke warm temperature and chewy. One of them actually tasted rotten. Extremely disappointed of how the mighty Rudy's has fallen this day. I spoke to manager on phone (was a to go order) and he cordially offered to refund. I declined. I will return, but I will never order to go again from them. I will update this review as appropriate if I go back.
Went for dinner with friends. At 6pm on a Friday night it was practically empty. The food was OK; nothing great. The prices were less than other BBQ restaurants, but so was the food quality. Service was great. Staff were very friendly and even laughed at a stupid joke I made.

Usually this place is delicious! Today around 12:50 we ordered a lot of food. The food smelled bad in the bag as it never has before. Very strong and sour and foul. We didn’t think much of it (assumed the place just smelled bad and it transferred to the food) and ate it anyways. My mom and I now have indigestion , nausea and vomiting. We got food poisoning today . Perhaps they were too busy to insure the meat wasn’t spoiled before serving it. Waste of $45. We don’t live close other wise we would have returned it.
We're usually very happy with Rudy's, but the guy they had cutting brisket at 6:45 Friday night was incredibly rude. 2 lbs of brisket should not be a couple huge pie shaped wedges of literally pure fat. He needs to go back to handling pick-up orders, and greeting people as they walk in. He was actually good at that, and didn't have the bad attitude. Also, they didn't offer a receipt when paying with cash.
Best thing there was the Banana Cream Pie! Bbq sauce there was not good. Bbq was not great either. Mashed potatoes were ok. Creamed corn was good. Would not go back for bbq
We have been to this location before and it was good. We were driving by and decided to stop by the drive thru, we got 1 1/2 pounds of brisket lean and whole jalapeno cheddar sausage. The brisket was so tough and dry no flavor at all. The sausage was blah. I can’t believe it was so different in taste from 1 month ago. Wasted $50
Brisket was so salty that my mouth started to burn after a few bites. And the sausage can be compared to beef jerky (super dry) Only giving it 2 stars because of the friendly/helpfull staff.
Traveling through Denton and decided to play it safe and get Rudy’s since we frequent this chain often (we get curbside once a week in Houston) we get the same items every time; green Chile stew and chopped brisket sandwich. Our sandwich was sliced and was room temp at best. Stew container prices of turkey/chicken? in it. I’ve never had stew from Rudy’s that had anything other than brisket, it also needed to be pressure cooked for longer. Staff were more concerned with getting tip from a drive through window then customer service. Will not be visiting again. Wasted $7 on stew to throw away after two bites
Not good. My half chicken was decimated. I would've preferred for it to be just cut in half instead of minced like that. But it was still too spicy. The beans are pinto, which I love, but they put very spicy BBQ in them. I took 2 bites and stopped. The corn on the cob was good but I couldn't taste any butter. It was mushy also. My girlfriend didn't like hers either. This place has tremendous potential but horrible execution. Not everything should be extra spicy for Sissies like me. Prices were great, $22 for 2 meals with drinks. Service was Ok, not very friendly. No one seemed to be enjoying their jobs, just doing it. Tues, 08-11, 8pm.
Place was neat, folks were nice. I only had the ribs, but honestly probably some of the worst bbq I have ever had. Ribs were dry mostly pepper flavored no smoke that I could taste. The sauce tastes like spicy v8 juice. Every thing is by the 1/2lb and the sandwiches are only one meat choice. If you’re from out of town looking for good bbq this isn’t it.
Never had a sandwich that looks like this, and I have been going here for a long time , the only reason I left 2 stars because its the first time that get something like this. They should have just told me they were out of brisket, I would have got something else. I the past I have gotten sliced brisket and then lately I get real greasy brisket and now this.
Not like it used to be. I ordered the big potato with brisket and o man it looked really good until I got home… i was very excited since is been a while that I have Rudy’s. Meat was very dry and hard potato looked old to say the least I got really sick not sure if it was the potato or what but I will not try that again
Rudy's has Sadly gone down hill. The food is low quality BBQ today. We were in a pickle for our large group meeting and asked about their private room. We figured most people would order food and being in so 50-60 meals. They wanted $800 to use the room. Yet everytime we have gone to the restaurant the room was empty, unused or the Denton Kiwanis were meeting there.

This was our first time visiting, highly disappointed. The sample we were given were very tasty if you could get around the fat trim, however our BBQ ribs were cold and the meat on the loaded potatoes was as well. this location was clean and had a great energy, but I got nauseated half was thru the meal I had to stop. I hate I had this experience. Will not stop again.
Breakfast tacos are ok, not big on the bbq. Food is got was cold, seemed rushed when there was no one inside.
I always order Breakfast from the Frisco location and it's always hot and awesome. We ordered $40 in food for dine in and I was gravely disappointed. My baked potato was DARK BROWN and looked like no one washed it and it was room temperature and needed to be cooked a little more. It was hard and not fluffy at all. My jalapeño sausage was not hot. I bit into it and I got a mouthful of cold sausage grease. Our moist brisket was 1/2 fat instead of more marble cut. On the plus side you had a big variety of ice cold beverages on ice. Needless to say we will not be coming back.
$3.29 for this?!? Holy shrinkflation! Yes, that is a regular pen for size reference. I stopped in for a quick breakfast taco, and you can bet I WON'T be back! First, I ordered a brisket, egg & cheese. It rang up $3.79. I pointed out that the sign clearly says $3.29, and I was told "brisket is different..." Then why doesn't the sign say that?? So I went with a bacon, egg and cheese taco instead. Apart from being tiny, the bacon was more like jerky (probably made yesterday or before), and the whole thing was room temp AT BEST. Was there even any cheese? We will never know... If you're gonna play in the breakfast taco game in Texas, these guys have a fiddle nowhere near the band...
First and last time at Rudy's. We went through the drive through last night and I wanted some baby back ribs. They immediately told us they were running low. I said that's fine, I didn't want a lot anyways, so maybe like 1/4lb. I was told that was "only like 1-2 ribs" so I then asked for 3-4. Yet when we got the receipt, I was charged for over a lb of ribs (mind you, they just told me 1-2 was 1/4lb, but suddenly 3-4 is over a lb...). Whatever though, we paid and left to go home and eat. When I tell you these were the driest, toughest, fattiest ribs I have ever had.... I had 2 last night and 2 today- pics are of all the fat I cut off the two today... yall, go to Kroger, Texas Roadhouse, literally anywhere else for your BBQ needs.
I ordered one breakfast taco and one single breakfast bowl... Please tell me why you guys decided to load me up with moldy sauces.. not only that, you gave me FOURTEEEN sauces for two LITTLE breakfast items. Don't do that again. Moldy little sauces. 14 for 2 items?! Don't make your old inventory my problem ever again.
This place is $80 for three people we got extra more crispy. What’s the drive would’ve thought it was Sahara desert, I’m not exaggerating. That shit was so dry. I got a pound of ribs and not only were they so dry you had to dump them and barbecue sauce to get a little bit of moist. They had no flavor. If you want to get ripped off, here’s a great place to come
Manager was annoyed at my order when I asked him to chop the brisket and slice up the sausage into smaller pieces. Just a bad attitude and probably should not work in the service industry if he has such a short temper.
I've eaten here a couple time now and Rudy's has been consistently flavorless. The brisket I had today was awful. I couldn't taste a hint of wood smoke or seasoning on it, it makes me wonder if it's smoked at all. From the texture and flavor it'd make more sense if their brisket is steam-cooked instead of what they advertise. Real Texas BBQ is often post-oak smoked and heavy on the peppercorn, keeping it simple and bringing out the flavors in the meat. Rudy's seems intent on eliminating flavor instead of enhancing it. I don't think Rudy's has any credence claiming to serve "Real Texas Bar-B-Q" with flavorless meats. Pellet smokers give more flavor to brisket than whatever they're using here, let alone a real wood smoker. The turkey is average, perhaps a little below average, and the sausage is fine. That being said, it's pretty impossible to screw up sausage. Their side dishes aren't necessarily good or bad, and about the only thing they do well is make BBQ sauce. The sauce is decent, and they clearly take pride in it because you'd have to drown your meal in "sause" to make it palatable.
Ordered a Thanksgiving lunch for 12 people with order confirmation (and pickup time) in writing, only to find out the store is closed. Unacceptable for 4 families staying in an AirBnB with no food.
The food was terrible. The beans were salty and dry. The ribs were dry and the potato salad was not good at all. For $50 dollars for lunch I was totally disappointed. I will never go back !!
Hello, I’m an Uber delivery partner and picked up an order at your Denton location on January 4th at approximately 7:28 PM. Upon arrival, I confirmed the customer name and order details as requested. Despite this, the employee assisting me at front refused to release the order until it appeared on his screen, even after verification had already been completed. This created an unnecessary delay and negatively impacted delivery time, despite the order being ready and correctly identified. I understand the importance of preventing errors, but this interaction appeared more procedural than practical and did not align with efficient delivery partner handoff practices. I wanted to make management aware, as smoother coordination between staff and delivery drivers benefits both your customers and your team. Thank you for your time and attention. Respectfully,
I made the mistake of going back for the sliced brisket sandwich. The brisket was so rubbery and tough I could not chew threw it. i ordered through the drive thru. The person taking the order acted like I was bothering them and they did not offer any sauce. I won't be going back a 3rd time. The Rudy's in Frisco is much better.
We have been going to this Rudy’s for years. After we paid and sat down to eat, the Manager approached our table and advised us that outside food was not allowed at the restaurant. We let him know we had been bringing a meal for our daughter for years without any issues. He stated, “not anymore, ownership has changed, it’s a liability issue.” I opened my mouth to explain why we had the outside food (not another restaurant’s food but cooked at home for our daughter with life threatening food allergies) but he walked away. It was an odd interaction to say the least. The food quality has gone down hill since their ownership change. We looked, there were no signs posted regarding outside food. We spoke to the greater/quick grab food employee at the front and he was not aware of the rule either. We were informed this location is now under corporate.
