First time in the area and I based going here on good reviews and a rotisserie lamb sandwich. We arrive and the place is packed on a sunny day, all the outside tables were taken and there was a 25 min wait without reservations. Luckily the hostess immediately noticed seats at the bar and sat us quickly. The 2 bartenders were amazing, I would recommend coming in just for some drinks and conversation with them. They elevated the entire experience. We first had the dip duo, the guacamole was fresh and delicious and the jalapeno queso was unique and tasty! I changed my mind on the sandwich based on the glowing recommendation of the Famous French Dip. My counterpart had the salad with tuna. I was skeptical when the French dip was touted to be life changing. I was wrong. It has ruined me for French dip sandwiches for the rest of my life. I will have to come back here now every time I visit Denver!
Great food even better was the experience brought by our server. Natalie, was fantastic and found us an outside table with a heater ♡ was fast, knowledgeable and very nice.
I’ve been here a few times. Service is great. Food is amazingly delicious. The vibe is really relaxing and upscale. Always a perfect lunch.
Cherry Creek Grill never disappoints. The macho salad is hands-down the best salad I’ve ever had in my entire life—loaded with flavor, texture, and perfectly balanced ingredients. It’s crave-worthy. Pair that with their grilled artichokes, which are charred just right and served with a dipping sauce that takes things to the next level, and you’ve got a meal that hits all the right notes.
The atmosphere is fantastic. Relaxed and comfortable, yet elegant. Indoor and patio seating available. We made a reservation to ensure we got a table. All of the staff were professional and friendly. The server was helpful and knowledgeable and assisted with questions. There are so many good items on the menu it was hard to choose. I opted for the Wood Grilled Ribeye. Perfectly grilled, little seasoning and tender. I also got the ice cream sandwich for dessert. It was a little frozen and difficult to cut through, but once it started to melt a little it was decent. This is a place I would return to regularly.
We are visiting from Chicago where we don’t have any Hillstone properties. The service here is immaculate- from the hosts, manager, chef, and servers. Really top notch experience. Some of the food is hit and miss. The pork chop tasted like gas, but the sides were wonderful. The sauce on the beef ribs was a little sweet for me but the ribs were so good. Love the cold queso on the dip duo. Definitely coming back to try the chicken, French dip and lamb sandwich.
This is a lovely little restaurant tucked away in Cherry Creek. I love to come here for special Occasions not to mention this is my choice every year for my birthday dinner! It is always very busy so call ahead. The atmosphere is dark enough to be very intimate yet enough light to give a pleasing glow all around you. The help is well trained and very consistent in service without feeling robotic. I’ve never had poor service here, EVER! The food is absolutely to die for. Never had a bad meal here either. They do their own rotisserie chicken in house. My favorite here is the French dip. There is something about that is just comfort food to me. This restaurant is great for lunch as well not to mention if you just want to scoot out for a cocktail and appetizer this place fits the bill for whatever your feeling. If you’ve got kids are not sure, I’ve brought my granddaughters here many times and they too love this place, even the picky vegetarian. Give it a try, you’ll love it!!!!!!
What an amazing dining experience. Our server was polite, prompt, and attentive. I had the 14oz wood grilled ribeye steak. - Cooked to perfection, medium rare - Seasoned beautifully. Not too salty, just enough pepper - Side of fries accompanied with house seasoning salt. Crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. For dessert, I shared their banana cream pie and homemade oreo ice cream sandwich. - Rich and decadent oreo ice cream sandwich. - Light and delicious banana cream pie. Highly recommend this romantic, cozy dinner spot. Be sure to make a reservation. I came on a Wednesday night and it was packed!
One of my favorite spots in Denver for a fancy dinner or lunch one of the best cheeseburgers in Denver. I love their sweet cornbread, their grilled artichokes. The macho salad is amazing. Highly recommend the steak and enchilada combo. They have a wonderful bar and the service is tops.
Loved Cherry Creek Grill the first time and came back again. We love the french dip and although we missed out on the artichoke, we were able to try the smoked salmon which was a huge hit. Noah, our server was very helpful and entertaining. We will be back!
Cherry creek grill always delivers a great meal. From ambiance, service, and food I’ve always been blown away. Amazing veggie burger If artichokes are in season just do it….you’re welcome Great cocktails and wine Dark clubby vibe
My wife and I came here for date night and had a wonderful experience! We don’t have to wait too long after our reservation and we got a great booth along the outer edge of the restaurant. The service was something to be desired although in fairness they were very busy that night. Highly recommend you start with the Grilled Artichokes! They had great flavor and it came with three good sized artichoke halves. I had a hard time decided on dinner as there were so many things that looked good. My wife ended up ordering the Emerald Kale and Rotisserie Chicken salad and I ordered the Ding’s Crispy Chicken Sandwich. The sandwich was out of this world! The flavor was impeccable and the portion was perfect. My wife also had great things to say about her salad! We didn’t save enough room for dessert but we already can’t wait to come back again!
Cherry Creek Grill is an awesome spot to take friends or family out to dinner. It has an upscale sports bar vibe with a dress code (no flipfops, tanktops, sports team attire, etc) and great food! We started with cornbread bites in the seasonal grilled artichokes. We then got hamburgers, chicken sandwiches, and french dip sandwiches. Ice cream sandwiches topped it off! Everything was superb and wonderful. This is a hidden gem in the Cherry Creek Mall. Will be back soon, and btw Jesus is also coming back soon too! Thank you for the great times Cherry Creek Grill. Cya soon!
Hands down the best French Dip sandwich in town! The meat was tender and juicy and the au jus… the most flavorful we have ever tried! We also loved the lamb sandwich and the creamy horseradish they served on the side. We were a bit skeptical of the jumbo shrimp appetizer but it was actually delicious and we would definitely order it again. The decor, the lighting, the music and the service were all top notch! Can’t wait to be back!
Absolutely wonderful meal! Incredible service! Kirk is great. The rotisserie chicken, trout, and sausage and chicken thigh dinners were amazing. The staff acts as one without overwhelming you. The cocktails were well balanced and beautifully presented, the dinners were gorgeous, and the desserts were art. For the quality of food and the magnificent service the price was really appropriate.
Cherry Creek Grill delivers a consistently excellent dining experience. The food is flavorful, well-prepared, and made with high-quality ingredients, with every dish feeling thoughtfully executed. The atmosphere is warm and comfortable, perfect for both casual meals and special occasions. On top of that, the service is attentive, professional, and genuinely friendly, which really elevates the entire experience. Highly recommended.
Lowkey there is no way the Hillstone’s restaurant group doesn’t think I’m slightly too obsessed with them…. A little backstory, I’ve been eating at Hillstone’s restaurants since before I was born. The love I have for this place is out of this world and you will feel the joy too when you visit. Since I have visited almost every Hillstone’s owned restaurant in America (only missing 3) I can confidently say Cherry Creek Grill is one of the top locations. The level of service is unmatched. The quality of your meal is unmatched. The martinis are unmatched. This is perfect for a date night, a solo date, or with a complete stranger. Honestly, go with anyone and you’ll have a good time. Highly recommend, if you can’t tell.
Great spot in Cherry Creek. They’re well known for their grilled sandwiches, which I hadn’t tried before. I went with a steak and my wife ordered a burger — she said it’s easily one of the best burgers she’s had in Denver, especially after struggling to find really flavorful ones around here. The service was great and the place feels very cozy and inviting. Prices are reasonable — not cheap, not expensive — and if you go for steak it can get a bit pricier, but totally worth it. Food is tasty, well served, and the location is excellent. We went around lunchtime, it was pretty empty and no reservation was needed, but I’m definitely curious to come back at night to see how the vibe changes. Either way, it’s a spot I’d happily return to.
This was a great experience for my birthday. The facility was very clean, the atmosphere was inviting, and the staff were super kind, helpful, and upbeat. Everything my family ate was superb. I had a cheeseburger and added bacon, cornbread bites, cold shrimp appetizer, and a coke in a glass bottle. I wanted to rob them for their cornbread but I restrained myself. For dessert I ordered an ice cream oreo sandwich luxuriously surrounded by espresso chocolate. I almost consumed it all while the candle was still burning. I know my priorities. I went home happy.
Amazing waitress with an amazing smile. The food was fantastic, I did hear the money laugh a few times but the prices were very reasonable for the quality.🤌🏽
The CC Grill consistently delivers on service, atmosphere and food. I love the lighting and wood tones that sets a nice intimate mood for dinner. The service is always professional and friendly. I like that the workers wear uniforms and work together as a team to serve their clients. The food is fresh and very delicious. Whenever I’m back in the Denver area I try to stop in for dinner.
I ordered the fig and goat cheese salad with the lamb sandwich. Evening was very flavorful and the process were reasonable for a higher end grill.
Cherry Creek Grill was amazing! 🤩 From the drinks to the apps to the main course, it was all spectacular. The chicken and french dip sandwiches were second to none. The hardest part was deciding which one to order! You will not be disappointed. The wait staff was very friendly and accommodating. We will be back, thanks Denver Cherry Creek!
Was able to snag 2 bar seats at a busy time of the day. The atmosphere was busy and bustling but it never felt uncomfortable or rude. The corn bread bites were incredible. We walked from our hotel to eat. That’s a fun experience.
I have wanted to come here for awhile and am happy that we decided to try this out. For years I have been going to their sister restaurant Hillstone and always been treated well. The place was fairly busy over the weekend, I imagine due to the holiday. When I asked for a table for two at 4pm they advised that they didn't have any availability until 8:30pm, however they said if something opened in the bar we could be seated. We didn't have to wait more than 3 or 4 minutes to sit at the bar. The atmosphere was nice and all of the staff was very friendly. We started off with the Dip Duo, which is queso and guacamole served with chips. This dish was fine, it could have used 4 more chips for the amount of dip we had, but we survived. 8.7/10. The dips had great flavor and was a satisfying way to start the meal. We also shared an Emerald Kale and Rotisserie Chicken salad as a starter. The food came out very quickly and we were pleased with this. The salad was good, almost a little too much dressing, a little smaller than I would have expected but had a lot of chicken. Great flavor 8.3/10. For entrees we ordered the Wood-Grilled Ribeye 8.5/10, fries were 8.3/10. The steak was cooked perfectly and the fries had a great crisp on them. My partner got the Knife and Food Ribs which had a mustard sauce, this had a great smoky flavor 9.2/10, the coleslaw left a little to be desired. We tried a few sides the Roasted Peppers with French Feta, simple, plain and great 8/10. We also ordered the Braised Red Cabbage, which was just alright, not a whole lot going on but the cheese on it made it better 6.8/10. For dessert we got the Banana Cream Pie with Graham Cracker and Walnut crust. We got it with no caramel, as I figured it would be too sweet. Very happy that I decided to try this. 9.1/10. Great flavor and had a large amount of crust, which I enjoyed. Looking forward to heading back again soon.
Good and service were awesome. We split the famous French dip au jus, it was absolutely amazing paired with their quinoa salad and fries it was more than enough food for my wife and I! The server and staff were on point as well...
Such a delightful ladies lunch on the patio. A little bit more business casual inside. Business lunch spot. The food was really excellent. We started with a side of roasted red peppers and the Mediterranean cucumber salad which was loaded with avocado, goat cheese, lots of olives and pickled onion, delicious! We also had the seared ahi tuna and the Macho salad with chicken and dates. I loved the mix of flavors. The finale was the banana cream pie! Delicious!
Beautiful place. Our waitress was awesome. My friend had the salmon and loved it.
My parents and I enjoyed a relaxed family dinner at the Cherry Creek Grill. We enjoyed the attentive service while dining on some of our favorites. We opted to start with the jumbo cocktail shrimp before moving into the steaks and chops we each ordered. It was all so delicious. The dirty gin martini is on point too. The setting of the restaurant is warm and inviting with accents of wood, flowers, and jazz playing in the background. I have only good things to stay about this restaurant and our experience. I will definitely make it a point to return the next time I'm in Denver!
Great selection of food. Attentive service. Shrimp cocktail were huge! Steak was perfectly prepared at medium rare. Cappuccino was a nice finish to a satisfying meal.
This place just gets everything right. The food is always spectacular. Service is expert and unintrusive. Atmosphere is somehow packed and congenial but never loud. Still fantastic.
My other favorite go to restaurant in Denver. It’s a part of Houston 💞’s and Hillstone. They have the same menu the same great food the ribs Art of Dye for the chicken kale salad is great. Everything on the menu is absolutely fabulous.
Everything about Cherry Creek Grill is fabulous. Hostess Olivia took special care of us, while we waited for our table we were brought a special treat of fries…so yummy. Seated and our meal and service were beyond wonderful! Will be back soon! Highly recommend!
Best meal of my life. The Caesar salad was life-changing. The cornbread bites were incredible. The French dip was the best thing I’ve ever experienced. The intentionality and details of every single thing from the service down to the silverware was impeccable. You must go here! Our server Wicahpi B aka “Chops” was amazing. Shout out to her.
Limited menu. Everything is very tasty and well prepared. The wait staff is first class. It's a warm and relaxing environment. Don't over order. The portions are generous.
Pleasing lunch with friends at this popular eatery in Cherry Creek. Artichokes were awesome. Burger was decent (low carb version). My friend enjoyed the lamb sandwich. A bit pricey due to location and ingredients. Reservations suggested during lunch and dinner - even on weekdays. Parking is in the back of the building. Staff were friendly and inviting. Enjoy
Update: so disappointed that they are no longer offering take-out! Previously: Here’s a marvelous if pricey restaurant. I love their Macho Salad! Also their cornbread, which has jalapeños in it. Also their very fresh lemonade. While I've liked some of the other dishes, I haven't liked them as much as I would have liked to have liked them, if you know what I mean. Besides the Macho Salad, the cornbread, and the lemonade, there's one other real true favorite of mine.... the Dip Duo, a delightful appetizer. Jalapeño queso and guacamole with tortilla chips - an excellent dish. It is expensive here, no way around that. I'm not sure if two salads, no matter how good, and two lemonades, no matter how tart, are worth fifty dollars and change. Maybe! Or maybe just once in a while.
Nice place and really upscale. Came here for lunch and they had amazing dishes and the steaks were 😘👌🏼 as far as the food goes, there's definitely no complaints. Quick service, great cooking, attentive waitress. Would've been 5-stars but some of the staff aren't very kid-friendly and are rather impatient with tots, which to an extent (given the atmosphere) is absolutely understandable, but I feel like they're a little too sensitive to them (despite the facility indicating they're supposed to be relatively child-friendly, such as a diaper station in the bathroom, etc.) and aren't very welcoming to younger paying customers in a judgy vibes kinda way 😅 Definitely would not recommend this place for family events that extends invitations to the younger tots 😮💨
This place was highly recommended by a friend so we had to try it. Made a reservation and was seated early, always appreciate that! Our server Chloe was an absolute doll, personable and friendly. Very pleasant and great server skills checking in with us the appropriate amount of time to always keep the drinks flowing. We expected items to be on the pricey side so no complaints on the pricing HOWEVER the most delicious item we ordered were the deviled eggs and it was 1.5 eggs. I won’t let this go. Like you cut 2 eggs to only serve us 1.5? Seems ludacris to me ..so much so that I am writing about it here! Serve guests two eggs! Anyways for the mains we got double cut pork chops and chicken and sausage. Both super tasty. Everything seemed a bit under seasoned for my liking which was a disappointment. Got a side of fries as well and the cradle they served them in made them a bit soggy and they were grease and limp. I had high hopes and although we enjoyed our night out I had higher expectations for Cherry creek Grill. Lastly to end on a high note to cocktails were 10/10 so the bartenders were on it.
My first time here. Very well trained and professional staff. Immaculately kept dining room. Good service. Good food. Good prices for portion and quality a bit on the high side. All the food was flavorful. It was a good experience. I don’t mind paying top dollar for top quality food. This was good food at great food prices.
It's good, few things that made me go e it a 4 star. Server never really introduced herself, just came up and ask if I wanted to order, and never really checked back until I was almost done,I wanted to order the artichokes but by the time I got my entree and ate half of it I didn't want to anymore. The other annoying thing getting a DBL Woodford normally in all restaurants I have dined in they do some sort of deal for DBL but I was charged twice for single shot. Weird I enjoyed the ribs they were delicious and tender, the coleslaw not so much was kinda flavorless and too creamy for my liking. Wish the server told me I could of picked French fries, also found out after I was done . Overall is ok, would probably try somewhere else next time I'm in Denver .
The shrimp cocktail was excellent... but the grill chicken was dry and underwhelming. I didn't love the wild rice salad. We shared the corn bread nuggets and it didn't taste like corn bread. I didn't care for it. The sausage and chicken platter was meh.. we are in town for the day and I'm bummed we chose this
Here’s a **concise, polished bad review** that keeps it factual and clear without ranting: > We usually enjoy CC Grill for its cozy atmosphere and excellent service, but this visit felt like an off-day in a parallel universe. Despite having a reservation, the service was disorganized and oddly irritated. Several drink requests were unavailable, and a simple coffee cocktail was served awkwardly. No specials or soup were offered, multiple menu items were “no,” including a grilled cheese, which was surprising. The deviled eggs were off, and dessert options were extremely limited. Overall, the experience was frustrating and disappointing, and the service did not help. Shay our wait staff, seemed to want us to hurry up and go, and seemed annoyed. We still tipped 25%, but left disappointed.
My daughter and I came in for a quick bite two cheeseburgers. She ordered hers medium rare and mine well done. They both came out cooked the same way. Mine was quite pink inside which bothers me quite a bit. If the server had asked us right a way how things were this may have been corrected. However, as it were, I ended up eating th bun some of the veggies and fries. By the time she came by it was to late. To re order would have made my daughter wait additional time and would not have been kind. The server looked as though they just wanted to move away quickly as I was describing why all was not well. When they came back asked if we wanted dessert or anything else without addressing the issue really apologizing or compensating or trying to correct. So it was our thought that this was not the best experience and this could have been better played. It was a less than satisfactory experience which sadly for this person, was realized in the gratuity.
The food was deeply disappointing. The corn was bland and poorly prepared, the chicken was extremely basic, and while the meat was acceptable, it was nothing special. The wine selection was good — but that alone cannot save the experience. What truly made this visit unacceptable was how they treated families. Even though they allow children inside, at 4:00 PM they told my kids to stop laughing. Not screaming. Not running. Laughing. That alone speaks volumes about the atmosphere and the attitude toward guests. If you have children, or simply value feeling welcomed, do yourself a favor and choose somewhere else. Terrible experience from start to finish.
My friend and I got to the restaurant at 4:45. There were at least 7 open two seater tables. They only offered us to sit outside. It’s January. The wind was blowing. Freezing cold. Food got cold instantly. I go inside at the end of the dinner to wash my hands and all the booths had 2 people in them. Ridiculousness and bad service. Won’t be coming back here ever again. How inconsiderate and rude
My wife and I have been regulars at Cherry Creek Grill for 20 years. Last week I was told it was a corporate decision to longer offer the French Dip without a bun. As a person with celiac disease this is not an option for me. When I contacted the corporate office I was told this decision was made based on presentation. I hope the presentation of MY food is worth losing a loyal and regular customer over. This is simply not an acceptable answer for me. Their lack of accommodating people with dietary restrictions says a lot about how they feel and treat their customers.
Artichokes on the menu no we don’t have artichokes chicken and sausage on the menu. No, we don’t have any sausage. Cucumber salad on the menu no, we don’t have any cucumber salad. It didn’t meet our standards.🤣🤣 No, we don’t carry ranch dressing. No we don’t have a house salad. Overpriced menu, ridiculous options, music, and candles. Don’t change the fact that you have an awful awful awful manager. I think his name is Chad.?? Should not be in the restaurant business that’s for sure!!!
Hate to be writing this review but after two negative experiences I am done with CCG. The food is fantastic but that’s where it ends. First negative experience - had a reservation for 4 people to eat dinner on a Friday night, showed up at the time and was told it would be an hour wait. They were slammed with people and apparently do not care to say “we’re full” to walk-ins, so people with reservations then have to wait an hour after to be seated. Most recent was with a takeout order. I asked if there were utensils in the bag — seemed a silly question to ask since I order a salad, don’t really eat that with your hands, but after the last experience thought I should double check — and was told they don’t do utensils with takeout orders. That in and of itself is a ridiculous statement, but when you pay $30 + tip for a salad, and then don’t get utensils to actually eat the food, that’s ludicrous. There are so many options in CC, don’t waste your time here.
We had a very disappointing experience at Cherry Creek Grill. My husband and I brought our two daughters (ages 2 and 4) to celebrate his recent work promotion. We were seated without issue, our order was taken, and nothing suggested families were unwelcome. Shortly after being seated, however, a manager began repeatedly approaching our table every time our two-year-old made a brief noise louder than speaking. This happened three times during the meal. Each time we were asked if we “needed anything,” but by the third interruption it was clear the visits were not about service - they were monitoring our child’s behavior. When we expressed that the repeated interruptions were making us uncomfortable, the situation escalated. A second manager approached and began listing what our daughters were allegedly doing wrong, including our two-year-old standing on the booth seat (she is too small to otherwise sit above the table) and commentary about how our four-year-old was holding and lightly tapping her fork. When I explained that our daughter is two years old and that we were doing our best, the response was that it “doesn’t matter how old they are.” That statement was particularly concerning and reflected a lack of understanding or empathy. We were not seated near other guests, and no one to our knowledge complained. Our server appeared visibly uncomfortable throughout the exchange. We were later told the restaurant is “not recommended for small children,” If families are not welcome, that policy should be made clear before seating guests, not enforced through repeated interruptions and public correction. We left feeling judged and unwelcome, and what was meant to be a celebration was completely overshadowed. After sending a detailed email to management, we received no response. If your establishment prefers not to accommodate families with young children, that is your choice - but it should be communicated clearly and respectfully.
