Great experience. Cozy indoor ambiance with a warm welcome from the staff, who were incredibly professional and greeted me with genuine hospitality and smiles. Now the food—absolutely phenomenal. The chicken wings were truly some of the best I’ve ever had anywhere in the world. The meat fell right off the bone, the medium spice level was perfectly balanced, and every bite left me wanting more. The chicken saag was delicious and full of authentic flavor, pairing perfectly with both the garlic naan and the aloo paratha. To finish off the meal, I went with the gulab jamun, which was the perfect sweet touch to wrap up an already amazing dining experience. They also have a well-managed location with plenty of seating for parties of all sizes, making it convenient whether you’re dining solo or with a group. Keep up the great work, guys—highly recommend checking them out. You will not be disappointed. This is coming from someone who has tried Indian food globally, and these guys are spot on.
We were traveling and Denver was our food stop — and this restaurant turned out to be a real surprise! It genuinely feels like a family-run place where they’ve put their heart and soul into both the food and the ambience. We ordered the Veg Thali (mild spice level — perfect for kids). Every single item was flavorful and comforting: • Paneer Butter Masala • Saag Paneer • Dal Tadka All were rich in taste and beautifully balanced. We also ordered extra garlic naan, which had the perfect crispness and softness. Even after it got cold, it didn’t turn chewy — that’s rare! Sharing our before & after thali pics — the food was so good that we finished everything except the pickle 😜. Also, a note for future customers: the curry portions on the thali are generous for one person. Highly recommend this place for anyone passing through Denver or craving homely, flavorful Indian food. Will definitely return! 🙌
This was our second time going to Curry and Grill 2, we liked it the first time and wanted to share it with friends. All of us absolutely adored our food! I had the thali lunch, it was so much food and so delicious! I got it out of four out of six which for me was a perfect spice level but was definitely spicy. I love that my nose ran the whole time! My husband got the tandoori chicken for the second time and it's still stands as his favorite. The way it comes out is kind of like fajitas, still sizzling. Our friends absolutely adored it, lamenting that there was no good Indian where they live. I would highly recommend this restaurant to literally anyone who loves Nepalese Indian food! We always have a ton of left overs and all of the staff are super wonderful!
First time visiting this spot & loved it! Great ambiance with authentic music. Generous portions (this was our 2-person order, 4 entrees, and my arm was tired from carrying home the leftovers 😅). Menu is well-labeled with Gluten-Free tags, which I appreciate so much. They also have a GF Roti bread option which was a pleasant surprise! Clockwise from bottom: Saag Paneer, Mushroom Curry, GF Roti, Chicken Biryani (most unique & flavorful I have ever had, this dish was the table favorite!), Garlic Naan, & Lamb Vindaloo. Ordered all dishes spicy level Med or Hot, but will upgrade to Extra Hot or Indian Hot next time because I believe in myself 😁
Legitimately some of the best food I’ve had. Their prices are very fair and the amount of food they give is more than enough. You can tell how much they care for their food by how they talk about it, and how amazing everything tasted. Be sure to give it a visit!
A hidden gem with the most wonderful atmosphere near downtown. I tried Nepalese beer for the first time and loved it. The owner is always there, attentive and a great host. I highly recommend this place!
My wife and I stopped in for lunch between errands a few months ago, and now it has become one of our favorite spots! We are discerning foodies so finding an authentic indian spot has been hard. Every dish we have ordered from here has been hit. Favorites include the korma, the butter chicken, the saag and the samosas! Their lunch special is one of the best in town. Two mains, rice, daal, naan, a samosa, and gulab juman for $13 and we always leave with leftovers. Amazing!
This is the best ever Nepali and Indian cuisine in Denver. The service is on top notch and all the staff as well and the owner were too nice, friendly and amazing. They have so many options for food a lot to decide from the menu also the ambiance is cozy. Loved my experience being there. Will go there often now.
The cutest place with amazing food and service. The butter masala with chicken was delicious, as was the garlic naan and chicken dumplings. Everything was SO tasty and reasonably priced. Our waiter was very kind and welcoming. I definitely plan on coming back when in Denver.
Excellent Mango Curry 🍛 I stopped in to check out the food here and was pleasantly surprised to find a wonderful curry dish along with a really friendly atmosphere. Nepali culture is so welcoming and Suman, the owner lives this in the way that he runs his restaurant and creates really tasty dishes. I highly recommend that you give them a try. Plus they have a full bar with good beer 🍻
Curry & Grill 2 Indian & Nepali Cuisine is a highly regarded restaurant located at 1320 E 17th Ave, Denver, CO, offering a delightful blend of Indian and Nepali dishes. Patrons frequently praise the rich flavors of their offerings. I Had one of the best chicken grilled kabab I’ve ever had in my life. Generous Portions & Friendly Service. Customers appreciate the ample servings and attentive staff. A diner shared, Prices were reasonable, servings were generous and the staff was kind and outgoing. Inviting Atmosphere. Top Reasons It’s Highly Recommended.
Friends, I tell you. This place is magical! The atmosphere was full of thoughtful touches, the service was excellent, & the food was off the charts. The flavors were sheer perfection. We got naan with dates & lamb with the Mango Curry & Chicken Shahenshah, which we were told is a royal dish. I certainly felt like royalty in this environment. A harmonious & colorful outing! They also have a nice patio, good happy hour, & BOGO cocktails! We will be back. Thank you to our friend Dharmin for the recommendation!
The food was amazing, very flavorful, hot in temperature, and the spice was perfect! Bathroom was also clean, I look for those dets lol I will return next time in Denver! Oh! The mango rush was so good!! 😋
As someone who has traveled around the entire country, this has been the best Indian meal I have ever had in my life. The dishes and playing was very nice and felt different I loved it
Momos were outstanding and our server was really nice and knowledgeable. Nice sized portions. At the end we were so surprised to learn that they are a newer restaurant because they are so experienced at making delicious food. Thank you Curry & Grill 2 !
This place is awesome! I was here yesterday with my friend and they have great food, good atmosphere, and amazing service! Our servers were so kind, attentive, and helpful. They even gave us a newer bartender’s training drinks on the house! We will definitely be back soon!
Beautiful spot. So small and intimate. Music saturday nights. Suman is a wonderful personality that we bumped into. The tikka masala and paneer is amazing. Lots of parking.
Absolutely delicious food. The lunch thali was more than I could finish, for a very reasonable price . Highly recommend this place if you like Indian food
Curry & Grill 2 is a fantastic place for authentic Indian food. The flavors are rich, well-balanced, and clearly made with fresh ingredients. Every dish tastes homemade and full of traditional spices. The portions are generous, and the food is consistently delicious. The staff is friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help with recommendations. The atmosphere is clean and comfortable, making it a great spot for family meals or casual dining. Highly recommend Curry & Grill 2 to anyone who loves quality Indian cuisine.
Very lovely staff, you can tell they care about their restaurant and getting people to try their food. Came in on a Tuesday and it was a slow for them, unfortunately, because they have great food; but the service was still really attentive and welcoming. I live close by so I’ve been here and ordered takeout before and each time I’ve been satisfied. This go-around I had the “Thali” plate which lets you choose two of their meat entrees, so I had two I’ve had before.. the Korma and Vindaloo. It also comes with a samosa, papadam and sauces, dal (lentil) soup, basmati rice, a small dessert (I added a second dessert by choosing the rice pudding dish you see on the plate), and naan (I upgraded the naan). Overall very pleasant and I know I’ll be back again. Go support this local business ! Sometimes it may not look like it’s open from the outside but they’re open daily.
We visited this place during Thanksgiving and happened to be the only customers at the time. The setup felt unique, with both karaoke and sports TV screens making the atmosphere interactive and fun. It seemed like the restaurant was receiving more online orders than dine‑in guests, but the service was warm and welcoming. We were greeted kindly and offered complimentary masala tea, which was perfect for the chilly winter weather—so soothing. My little one loved the crispy onion bhaji, and we thoroughly enjoyed the mushroom manchurian. The only drawback was the samosa chaat, which had a bit too much curd. Overall, it was a memorable and pleasant experience.
If you’re looking for an incredible Indian dining experience in Denver, Curry and Grill 2 is an absolute must-visit! Despite the snowy weather, I stopped by and decided to warm up with their Masala Chai, and let me tell you—it was out of this world! The perfect balance of spice and warmth made it the best chai I’ve ever had. The staff here are exceptionally friendly and welcoming, taking the time to chat and recommend dishes. Based on their suggestions, I tried the Tandoori, Garlic Naan and Butter Chicken. Every single dish was bursting with authentic flavors, cooked to perfection, and served in generous portions. The food quality is unmatched, making this place easily one of the best Indian restaurants in the Denver area. The atmosphere is just as impressive as the food. The vibe is cozy yet modern, with great lighting, beautiful Turkish-style hanging lights, and a well-organized bar area that adds to the aesthetic—even though I don’t drink, I loved the way they’ve set it up! The music was also on point, adding to the overall experience. I’m honestly surprised this place doesn’t have higher ratings because it deserves way more recognition! If you’re craving authentic Indian food with amazing flavors, a welcoming atmosphere, and top-notch service, Curry and Grill 2 should be at the top of the list. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️/10 Thank you, Curry and Grill 2, for the wonderful food and amazing service!❤️ #DenverEats #IndianFoodDenver #ButterChickenLovers #DenverFoodie #TandooriNaan #FoodiesOfDenver #CurryAndGrill2 #HiddenGemDenver
Best wings I ever had I Indian and Nepali Restaurant. Highly recommended
Diploma and her team of chefs and staff were over the top amazing! The food is great and the drinks are not only tasty but pretty! We are new to the area and are putting this spot on speed dial! Try the tikka masala!
Amazing atmosphere and absolutely wonderful food, 100% recommend! The goat curry was the best! Best Nepalese in all of Denver!
Outside patio and inside seating are both inviting and comfortable. Staff is friendly and perfectly attentive. Food is delicious! While the options are the typical Indian restaurant list, the flavors are unique and exciting. The lunch special came with 2 options of your choice, lentil soup, nan, a samosa and some desert. So so so good and a good amount of food for the price!
Amazing food and Suman made us feel like part of the family!! Edit: Every time we come here they top themselves, amazing food and staff!!
I went for a late dinner. The food was very good. The waitress was very attentive and good. There was music playing, which was not to loud. Lots of seating inside or outside or around a nice bar.
This place is an incredible addition to the neighborhood. As a South Asian, I really appreciate the menu of options and how they nailed the authentic flavorings in each dish. While I’ve liked all the dishes I’ve tried, these are my favorites: aloo chili, tandoori mixed grill with 4 proteins (salmon is so good), any of their masalas (okra (bhindi) & lamb), and any lamb dishes. I’m still working my way around the menu. The smell of their naan reminds me of childhood; garlic & lamb options are my favorites. They also have a full bar. Avery White Rascal beer & mango mojitos are our go-tos. Don’t sleep on the mango lassi; it’s a must whenever I go & they offer a spiked version. The staff are incredibly welcoming & attentive. They also have an easy online ordering system for pickups that we’ve tried.
Food is delicious! Love the spice levels they offer and the food portions are amazing. Definitely worth every penny, though, it's not even that expensive! Service is great every time I come, definitely one of my favorite spots in Denver!
Amazing food and outstanding service! Every dish was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly spiced. The staff was friendly, attentive, and made us feel genuinely welcome from start to finish. You can really tell they care about both the food and the customer experience. Easily one of my favorite spots for Indian cuisine—highly recommend!
The atmosphere here is very elegant, our server was very knowledgeable about the menu and he was super attentive. The food is top notch and the portions are huge. We also had few cocktails and they were cheap and picture perfect. Glad we found this place for our high school reunion. Off Topic : Whoever wrote that negative and stereotypical comment below mine needs to get life. That’s definitely one delivery guy who looked intoxicated and needs to go see a sinusitis doctor. No wonder he rates everyone 1 star…lolz… Anyways, we will be back for lunch platter very soon and please keep up the quality of food and service guys…
Hands down my favorite Indian spot in Denver and I’m extra lucky it’s just a few blocks from my place in Cap Hill. 🙌 I’ve tried other Indian restaurants after eating here, and honestly… nothing hits the same. The curry? Next-level. The menu? Authentic and packed with flavor. And even when the staff is super busy, they’re always kind, attentive, and on point. If you’re ever craving curry or traditional Indian comfort food, this place always hits the spot. 🌶️🍛✨
I went in here with a crew of 3 for the first time and this has got to be some of the best food i've had in Colorado. We all ordered something different to share and it was all AMAZING. The staff was very friendly. This will be a regular place for us now.
The service food and ambience is top notch. Suprised to see they have a full bar with uncountable drafts and cocktails at cheap price. Thr server was like a dictionary of Indian food.very knowledable..my New fav spot….
Been right down the street from these folks since they opened and the food has been really delicious with friendly service. Our server explained to us some of the ingredients and the differences between the dishes last night. Stuff I never learned before. Would recommend!
Food is awesome and the staff goes out of their way to make you feel at home. I am Mexican and am used to spicy. I ordered mango curry chicken. They asked spicy or extra spicy. I chose spicy and it cleared my sinus and made me cry for a little while but it was amazing. It’s gonna hurt tomorrow! 😆
Had a great experience here last week. They gave great advice on food, cooked incredibly and had great service. We’ll be coming back soon!
The food is amazing. The service was fantastic and the owners are so friendly and kind. They have a full bar and draft beer available. Highly recommend 10/10
Just tried this place and we’re sure glad we did. We were very hungry and still left with leftovers! Great accommodation for our spice levels Would highly recommend
We had such a good time here - the service was attentive, helpful and personal. Cute, vibey joint without pretension. Best Nepalese food I personally have ever had! We had tasty cocktails in pretty glasses (mine was a maple bourbon martini affair) with a fried appetizer that had mushrooms and potatoes in it - my two favorite foods. I had the Shrimp Korma for my entree’ and it was splendid - creamy, rich, flavorful with perfect heat - over fluffy, fabulous rice. My three friends I dined with really love spice and always chase the heat. They said their vindaloo and chicken curry was awesome with Nepalese hot and they are very picky! Love this place - excited to go back and try more apps - like momos and samosas!
This place was great. Had the Tandoori Lamb (medium heat/spice) and added some Jalapeño Cheddar Naan. Wasn’t too spicy but flavors on point. Went as a group of 4, all of us were blown away with how great everything was. Not a single one of us had the same dish and all dishes were amazing. Will certainly be back
Amazing spot! The waiter and staff were super friendly and helpful with ordering things, had some great suggestions. It was quite literally the best Indian food I’ve had in Denver!! They also do karaoke after 9pm which was an absolutely blast. Highly recommend!!
This place is the real deal and a great value! We enjoyed the lunch special which consisted of several different dishes. The owner was a delight to speak with and we really enjoyed the ornate lamps and other decor.
I love this place! We're local and order delivery once a month to feast and stock the fridge with delicious leftovers - never disappointed! We're vegetarian, and particularly love the gobi manchurian, saag chole, and dal makhani. They have a rewards program too, which is great for an extra order of garlic naan!
Great lunch special with 2 entrees, samosa, rice, and yummy veggie dish, dessert and 2 other treats. I had chicken curry mango which was delicious. One made of pickles. The new owners take care of you and the food is amazing. Nice ambience. Glad they added some booths.
Food was delicious, service was spectacular! The ambiance is cozy and welcoming, with soft lighting and tasteful décor that make it a perfect spot to relax and enjoy a meal. It feels intimate without being cramped, and the overall atmosphere makes you want to linger a little longer. Thank you, Kinisou Chapur ❤️
The vibe and service are very good and so is the food selection. However, I'd appreciate it if the chefs added less butter to the entrees. More flavoring can be added to samosa. My rice had 1 pea and one carrot piece. Would like to see more veg.
Our first night in Denver started with a late arrival and growling stomachs. We were relieved to find Curry & Grill 2 open till late. With most places closed, they warmly welcomed us, assuring we could come anytime as they stay open late on Fridays. True to their word, the staff was incredibly accommodating, allowing us to dine comfortably even after the other patrons had left. We started with the Gobhi Manchurian, which was crispy and packed with flavorful spices. The momos were also a hit, perfectly made and full of flavor. For mains, we had Paneer Tikka Masala and Daal Tadka, both well-balanced in spices and rich in taste. One of the highlights was their spicy chutney served with papad which added the perfect kick to the meal. Overall, we had a fantastic dinner. If you are craving good Indian-Nepalese food with great service, this place is worth a visit, especially if you are looking for a late night spot!
I'm only reviewing their lunch buffet. Maybe the regular restaurant is different. It's rare to find lunch buffets anymore, and even more rare to find them under $15. Curry and Grill 2 has a lunch buffet for $12.99 and let me tell you, the quality is price appropriate. Everything was edible, but none of it had any real flavor. That seems pretty hard for an Indian restaurant. The buffet trays were warm but not hot. Everything had a muted flavor. If this was $20 I'd be upset and probably not come back, but it's $13 and you can leave full. It's priced appropriately and I'd likely come back if I was in the area and in the mood for some mediocre Indian lunch buffet. Maybe the dinner quality is different?
