Great employees. Late night and I was starving. I had heard about Waffle House in pop culture but never tried it before so wasn’t sure what to expect. I got takeout and it was prepared quick. I got Chicken Sandwich with a side of Hashbrown and a Chocolate Waffle. Good portion and pretty cheap. Open 24/7. Can’t beat that.

This Waffle House was on point today. The service was fantastic, the food was delicious, and the atmosphere was great! Hands down the waffle and grits were so good!! Thank you to our waitress who was genuinely nice.

I always go after work-approximately 7pm.. Usually Josh, the cook is there and any of 3 young ladies I see throughout the week. No matter the young lady, the service is always prompt and they are very friendly as well! Josh’s cooking is always consistently great, and at this point he just remembers my order. So when I walk in, he’s usually already on it! Good looking out Josh 🤜🤛🏽(fist bump)

The second shift crew is hands down the best!!!! Josh, Nya and Khia made me feel right at home. I was quite pleased with my experience. The food tasted great and the service was fast. I'll definitely be back very soon! If you are in the area, I promise you won’t be disappointed.

Credit card machine out of order.. however every quick and old man cooking knew his job and how to cook. The nice lady with braids understand her customers. I am a trucker that doesn't like too much interaction.. overall STELLAR RESTAURANT...might could use minor touched but overall very good

It was during the day (mid-day). The server talked too much (at the register-my order was to-go)! I wasn't interested in his back story or his uncle! I just wanted to order my food, pay for it, and get back on the road. And hoped it was as delicious as I've known Waffle House food to be. 🤷🏽‍♀️

0ur experience has been fantastic! My son and I came here after a concert and we were starving. It was quite busy, but the staff worked together seamlessly. They were pleasant, efficient, and very skilled. Our orders were taken and brought to us promptly. The waitresses checked on us repeatedly and even found moments to have delightful conversations with us. Did I mention that the food was delicious?!?!.....IT WAS!!!! I can't remember all of their names, Jalen (waitress), Ro (female cook), the other waitress, and the other male cook made our food experience worthwhile. Thank you so much. My son and I highly recommend that you stop by and enjoy a dinning experience with them!

Let me tell y’all something about this Waffle House. By far this was the CLEANEST, MOST PROFESSIONAL and FRESHEST Waffle House my mother and I had ever been to! We were in the mood for breakfast even though it was late. We decided to go to Waffle House. I suggest this particular Waffle House in desoto because the other location is very suspect to me. This location DID NOT DISAPPOINT. I truly wanted to cry. They got our order out correctly, everything was hot, they were so respectful and treated us very well. Will definitely coming back.

My friend and I were headed back to San Antonio. We decided to stop for lunch since we don't have a Waffle House....Our server Julian gave us great service. I had a bacon cheeseburger which was cooked to perfection in my opinion and the waffle was better than expected. Has, Valerie stands out with excellent attention, great attitude, and genuine care for customers. Also, the older lady who works here deserves special recognition — she serves everyone with so much kindness and warmth, making you feel truly welcome. The rest of the staff is friendly and works hard to keep things moving smoothly. The food is good and consistent, as expected from Waffle House. The only reason I’m not giving 5 stars is because it would really help to have someone dedicated to cleaning and maintaining the dining area throughout the day. With that improvement, this place would be perfect. Highly recommended for the service and the people who work here!

Waffle House never misses when you’re craving a classic breakfast. I got bacon, eggs, hash browns, toast, and an OJ, and it totally hit the spot. The bacon was crispy, eggs cooked just right, hash browns golden and buttery, and the toast was a nice little extra crunch. Super simple, super satisfying, and served fast. It’s that no-frills, greasy spoon goodness that always comes through when you want a solid breakfast without overthinking it.

I LOVE Waffle House. I think it is amazing and consider my self a highly loyal customer. On this particular visit our experience was less than what I've come to expect from such a fine restaurant chain. The lady wasn't nice very attentive and the establishment raised mild concerns about the health and sanitation standards.

Don't go here on Saturday morning. They are so busy at this location that they can't keep up with the seating and the orders. It took me an hour and a half to be seated and another 30 minutes to get 2 eggs over easy with toast, sausage and has browns ($8.20...they should have paid ME to eat there). My coffee was never refilled. I was never asked if I needed anything else. People that were forgotten about were complaining to the manager and she's the one that forgot about them! One woman waited an hour to be seated and then her order was never taken. My waitress said it is worse there on Sunday mornings! Beware! Go to another Waffle House.

The food was fine. Our server was fine. HOWEVER...I almost got sick to my stomach watching another waitress with 3 inch nails serve people with her nails sitting on top of their toast. Not sanitary at all. Oh and her mask was on her chin and she was scratching her scalp with those nails! Can you say in service!?!

Haven’t had a BAD experience so far. They usually get you in and out. Our last waiter here didn’t listen very well to our order bc we ordered extra stuff on the side and never received it. We didn’t even bother to remind him about it & it wasn’t even added to the check so we were okay with it. I feel they could do better with cleaning the tables faster for the next customers and use better cleaning supplies. I always ask for plastic ware and to go cups there and I’ve only had 1 experience where the waitress gave bad energy when we asked to have them. Overall it’s a good place to get a quick breakfast!

Service was great. I came at 3:00am. It was 2 young girls working by themselves. Made me uncomfortable. I’ve never seen women working by themselves at night. Worried about their safety. Food was good though but you guys need at least on male working nights too.

Service was horrible. Uncleaned dining area. Dirty dishes scattered around. Waitress was polite but slow. Staff was more concerned with their conversation, less with customers. Food was fast and descent. Blamed the wait and mess on previous shift. Then when shift changed happened during our visit, there was a loud back and forth argument in the kitchen! This place needs an adult in charge and some staff changes.

Filthy bathrooms, floors, windows, plexiglass barriers, booths. Employees were extremely nice and prompt. However, the excellent quality of service does NOT make up the difference of the lack of cleanliness. I didn't complete my meal. Would not eat here again.

Went to Waffle House for breakfast and the food was awesome and inexpensive compared to other stores offering similar food. There was a short wait as there was a little confusion about who came and the order in which people should be seated. If there was someone checking people in that would fix the situation. This is the first time I have gone to a Waffle House and when the server brought the food out she immediately brought out the check.

What atmosphere? The service sucked; our supposed waitress at the dine out only window was rude. There was no atmosphere because you couldn't go inside. We paid for a drink and the waitress itemized everything we ordered, so then after we got our items to go at at super high price... the waitress didn't want to give us our drinks: the ones we paid for. But, you wouldn't know it because she itemized the entire ticket; I'm assuming to get an extra large tip. This used to be my favorite place to eat. Not too sure about that now 😣

11/24/24 posted the picture so nobody believe I was delusional but waiter kept asking if food was okay. I respect it everything was up to our expectations but I’m a very slow eater I like to process my food and take small amounts of portions. My plate still looked full.food didn’t take long and everyone was cool but when I seen the hair on my food I was baffled. I picked the hair up to make sure it wasn’t mine. I have a straight black weave on my head. I thought maybe from my jacket so I won’t assume butttt the hair was a curly red strand that my natural hair does not have. Needless to say they were nonchalant about the situation as if I was picking but I clearly could point out the female whose hair is like that. Nobody wears hair nets in there and people are walking around with longgg braids and weaves.

Ghetto as hell waiter arguing with cook very pissed it took 20 minutes for a bacon sandwich not goin back . Got my order wrong then took back to kitchen that's cross contamination nasty just hand…

I pulled up at 6:00am. The black dudes working one a cook older man. Young man with dreads just left a LADY OUTSIDE. The older man holds up his hands saying 6......I look at my watch for clarity 6am. Then they stand there with arms across their chest as I am not a paying customer. Please close this location! It's bringing the neighborhood down!!

Dirty! I walked in and they were not busy whatsoever, only one occupied table. The rest of the tables were dirty with previous customers food and trash still on the tables. Floor felt greasy and slick. Waiter took my order and I had to ask 10 minutes later for my drink. Trash can sitting on booth bench seat. So unorganized and not kept clean. And to top it off my hash browns were overcooked and crispy as all could get. Not satisfied at all. Would not recommend this waffle house location!

Literally had a whole eggshell in one of my waffles. Both waffles were dense and dry and not fluffy and flavorful. It was too early to go back and I had my kids. Super disappointed in this longtime food chain.

Halfway through my sandwich I realized that the strange taste was actually bad meat. Couldn't finish eating it. Next day I had a bad case of diarrhea. Would never go back, in fact will never go to another Waffle House.

Ordered $50 worth of food go. Checked order. Instead of gravy they put water yes water on top of the biscuit. Took it back In. Was told it would take 10 min. So we wait. Cook comes. Out and tells they have no gravy. Go back in to get $ back. Another worker tell him yes we have gravy. Cook it. He tells her he doesnt. Know how to make gravy. So she said ready the. Directions. So here we are still waiting 30 min later. Terrible. Never has this poor of customer service

Gave one star to begin my review of this Waffle House. Walked in with friend, no one even looked up. Man waiting for booth had to wait for it to be cleaned then had to mention that floor under table had table scraps and paper still there. Noticed there were other places to sit but none had been cleared and/or cleaned off. We waited as a couple left their place at the counter and decided we would go in that direction. Seeing choices of a few other places at the counter we moved behind the chairs as to where we would like to sit. No one moved forward to clean any of the spaces. Then it looked up toward a sound of someone clinking utensils on the edge of a table, seeing it was one of the women behind the counter saying, can’t sit till the table is cleaned. After being ignored for 20 minutes, then having a person hitting a table with a fork we turned and left. One of the worst restaurants my 81 year old friend said he has ever been in.

Came all the way from California. Ordered my regular. It was after hrs so it was to go. Waited 30-45 min. Food I got was really bad. Service sucked. Everything I ordered was wrong. Taste bad. It was to go so I couldn’t take it back cause too far. Waste of $. If they are not open for dining inside. Do not go. Skip it and go to Jack in the box or somewhere else.

It was the worst experience at a waffle house ever. I first walked in no welcome in. I’m sitting at the bar. Then a conversation between attendee and another customer went on. A menu was passed right in front of me to the other customer. And she should have went around and gave it to him. I finally get part of my order. I’m almost finished with the first plate. That’s when the waffle showed up. There was to much talking between fellow employees. And not fast enough service.

While picking up my order I stood there waiting to helped everyone looked at me no one to help. Jamla finally helped me I told her I had an order for pickup. Gave me the order I asked if everything is in there and she looked at me said I don’t know I didn’t pack.. you can look. She was so rude.

4 stars up until the female waitress just asked for a tip on our To-Go order which normally I Tip Waffle House for BUT this specific Waffle House didn’t take over the phone orders just online or in person & I was driving on a road trip on a time limit so this was a real inconvenience and for that matter I did not tip. If the waitress (who by the way doesn’t have any tables because it’s window pickup only .. and is just taking the food from the cook to the window) could actually bother themselves with taking an over the phone order I would have more than gladly tipped for taking my order. Furthermore when I informed her about not having any cash she rudely reminded me “well NEXT time you order from Waffle House keep in mind we work for tips” NEVER Ordering at this Waffle House again, I’d rather go hungry than be hassled about you not getting a tip from a customer you didn’t take an order, a payment, clean up after or anything from.. DO BETTER , receive better ! 👍

Negative 10🌟. Everyone was nice. After that with the same waiter people that were sat after us all got their food no one said anything to us. We got our food in pieces not at the same time. All while others got all their food. 2 waffles were undercooked and one was the size of a cookie. We didnt get all the hash browns we ordered. One clump of burned hash with all raw potatoes under. Everyone just looked at us with the deer in headlights look. No one wanted to fix anything.

Please save yourself the time and just go to the Beltline location!

Well I guess it just isn’t my day today. Came to enjoy a night out with the hubby but instead we didn’t get any service. 4 employees and nothing. When we got up to leave the employees started getting an attitude since we decided to leave. Not a problem. The smell isn’t too good either. Smells like there might be a sewer problem.

I honestly wondered if the waitress was actively ignoring me. Sat there staring for 13 mins waiting for a cup of coffee. Had to get up and get it myself. At that point 3 other people walked out because they weren’t being served. The Cook said it’s because there was only 2 people working there but I’ve been to other locations and watched 2 people serve 30 without skipping a beat. I do NOT recommend this location.

I had the worst experience at this location after so many years coming here. I had a family member waiting to be seated along with his daughter. He told the young man that there will be a total five people. There was a table available The young man Told him that he could not sit him down because of everybody , not here. Everyone knows that you can sit up to 5 people at a booth. I completely understand if there was one person , but not sit down two , what sense does that make?So by time I made it up there my family Member was very upset. He and is daughter could have sat down and order coffee and looked at the menu until we showed up. I was about 7 minutes away. Keep in mind.I've been going to this location for many of years , and I know majority of the people who works at that location. So I talked to the supervisor. I ask her a simple question. Why couldn't he sit down and get a table? She said, because the party wasn't here yet. Then I said, what different does it make if 2 is sitting at the booth? Her response is We will be losing money and it's house rules. And on the weekend , there is no open seating. A course I knew there was no open seating on the weekend because i've been going there for years. Before she even started working there.She said all of this with a attitude. I wasn't rude to her at all.I understand there are rules , but like I said , what difference does it make if he and his daughter was sitting down to order and we just join. She then said, I don't know about all of that.He said his party wasn't here. Then I asked her again , what different does it make. After that I didn't say nothing else. I was very upset, especially being a loyal customer to that location.I have options to spend my money. I have brought so many people to that location because it was my favorite location. I know how it works when you leave.The manager or supervisor will talk really bad about you and I know she did. This is was very unprofessional.You can't get hold of anybody.I did the email I tried calling came up there to talk to her boss. I will no longer go to that location , and it's sad for me to say that , because I have built so many cool relationships with the folks i've been going over the years. I will take my business to a different waffle house like Waxahachie Were that I never experienced anything like this before. I'm just more upset that supervisor was so rude with an attitude towards me for no apparent reason. Matter of fact , when I do come there , she never speaks to me like everybody else does.

this was a horrible place to have a breakfast, cold coffee, dirty utensils,i ordered eggs and bacon and the guy that was cooking didn’t clean the grill he gave me a dirty breakfast,and the waffle i ordered wasn’t even cooked, and there was a hair on my eggs i noticed when i finished, i have a stomachache! i feel like i want to throw up 🤮 since i went there!!! my question is how can the health department allows places like that to be open????

I came to eat at this Waffle House and everything went wrong from the start. The server stood in front of us without saying a word, then cleared his throat and went to spit behind the counter on the rug right in front of us before finally taking our order. I asked for a simple sandwich without cheese and a hot tea. The server seemed confused and didn’t know if they even served hot tea. After checking the menu and asking the cook, they still struggled to figure it out. I explained that every time I order hot tea at Waffle House, I’m given a mug of hot water and a tea bag, nothing complicated. Even after clarifying, they still acted like they didn’t know how to “make tea,” and both the server and cook openly made fun of my order, which we could hear clearly. This was not only unprofessional but also disrespectful. What makes it worse is that the restaurant wasn’t even busy, only three other customers were there. Despite that, the service and attitude from both the server and the cook were unacceptable. Definitely the worst service I’ve experienced at a Waffle House.
