Excellent atmosphere along with an awsome staff. Well deserved eating joint to stop in and enjoy.

Stopped here for lunch with a few out of town family members. The food and service was excellent, highly recommend.

Their daily specials are fanominal and they have the best flavored burgers 🍔 in the area. I drive over from Paris to enjoy

What a great cafe that may be off your beaten path, but it is so worth your trip. The food was excellent, service outstanding, and the atmosphere was so very friendly. A great experience all around!

100% excellent food and service!! Our table of 12 (or 14?) Was treated like family. The ladies serving were top notch! The kitchen was outstanding! We would come eat there again and again.

We had the Philly cheese steak sandwiches and although they are small they were packed full of meat and cheese! Sandwiches come with chips and I couldn't sub for fries so I got an order and they put fries with all 3 sandwiches! Restaurant was clean, the staff was friendly, and the food was great! We'll definitely be back!

I've eaten here twice, for dinner, a couple of months apart as I travel to Plano and back to DeKalb for doctor appointments. I have no complaints. Food, staff, prices and parking are great great! I understand that the credit card fee is what their bank charges them. So honest food pricing I appreciate! I wish CJ's was closer to me! Their blackberry cobbler is to die for!!! YUMMMMMMM!😋👍❤️

Found this place by accident on the way back to Paris from getting my driver's license. My mother and I stopped there and had an amazing lunch. The menu is off the chain. From burgers to frog legs. They have it all. Service was friendly and great and for a restaurant sort of in the middle of nowhere, no disrespect intended, was well worth a drive from Paris or Clarksville. I highly recommend this place as most of you probably already know it in the area. I understand they have seafood boils and different things. And once again, the menu was amazing with the different variety of things to choose from. The restaurant was clean and everyone was friendly that we encountered. I will definitely be back again and again? 😁

They have a great fish special on Friday night, which even includes cobbler and soft serve ice cream.

FS&A all 5 star, the reason for the 4star overall is prices, 2 people $42... Seems a little high to me but honestly the food was too notch diner fare! We both got the Chicken Fried Steak and it was delicious! Carmel Pecan Cheesecake and Buttermilk Pie were amazing.... This was our first trip to CJs so pricing was unexpected we usually shoot for under $30 for the two of us. We will go back, I saw CFBLT on the menu (Chicken Fried Bacon, Lettuce, tomato sandwich) I MUST TRY!!!

Driving from Maryland to Texas and did not want to eat at a fast food chain. Found this cute spot right off of Rt82, in Detroit TX. My open hot roast beef was delish and the cole slaw fresh. Everyone was very friendly and nice. Restroom was spacious and clean. I would definitely go back to support local businesses.

The price was really good for how much you get but the chicken fried steak was really salty. The bake potatoes are huge and really good. Would go back and try something different.

My husband ordered a hamburger with bacon along with seasoned fries. My hamburger was good. The fresh cut fries were big and tasted good but could have been cooked a little longer. My husband enjoyed his food too. The service was good and they were very friendly.

Service is great and prices are reasonable. Breakfast: Ate breakfast for the first time this week. Large portions, taste great, although it was brought out luke-warm. Pancakes and Omelets are good. Coffee is a little weak, watered down a bit. The coffee cups are very small, thin and the handles too small. Need a thicker cup. Finally, not a big fan of brown gravy on my biscuits. Would like to see some white country gravy on the menu for breakfast and dinner. All in all, worth a visit if you are in the area.

Good food but seems to depend on the day.

Food was delicious however, the ice machine is left open between uses, glasses are kept in the ice and a scoop is not used to put the ice in the glass. The server scooped the ice with the glass. The glasses have been handled several times by people not wearing gloves thus possibly introducing bacteria into the ice. If this is happening, what other food code violations are occurring..... The establishment had one server and they were really busy. She never had the time to check on us. After the food was served, we didn't see her again until she brought the check. What about hand washing by the cooks. They would come into the dining room and go back into the kitchen straight to the food preparation area without washing their hands.

Condiments are terrible. The food is inconsistent. Sometimes very good other times just meh.

We've been coming here for quite awhile now, and it is always good. I only have one complaint. The service charge for using a credit card. I rather you go up on the food than pay to use my card. That's like a slap in the face. And although we enjoy the food n atmosphere, we will not be coming back.

I understand this place gets busy, but there’s no need to be yelling at older folk coming in to get their food. Screaming gets u nowhere and now everyone has a bad day. And Ronnie joe, he picks and chooses who he’s rude to. Needs better management.
