Ever since the pandemic, my expectations of dining experiences have been very low to keep myself from being disappointed. My bf and I came to Barbakoa to try it on a whim. We were BLOWN away by the flavors of the food. The music is good and uptempo, the decor matches the menu, the bartenders are entertaining and the service was spectacular but the FOOD. Omg the food was perfectly cooked & seasoned and the pricing made sense ! Ive been to places three times the price with less than half the taste and value. We will be back despite the 45 minute drive.
The Latin Asian fusion food at this place was fantastic. We decided to sit outside and enjoy the nice weather while sipping on some beers. We ordered the grilled octopus, shrimp kale salad, and a pizza, and everything was delicious. My personal favorites were the octopus and kale salad. The service was also great.
I was excited to try the new restaurant of chef Eileen Andrade and it did not disappoint. Excellent cocktails and happy hour menu. The staff was courteous and accommodating. The food was absolutely delicious. They have a diverse and flavorful menu. The ambiance is what you would expect of one of her restaurants, comparable to Finka.
For a delectable experience with rich flavors in both its menu and cocktails, I highly recommend 100% Barbacoa by Finca. I visit this place once a month, and with each visit, my enjoyment grows. If you decide to go, I suggest taking a seat at the bar to relish in the show put on by Marlon, the bartender, and savor his classic cocktails crafted to perfection. It's a monthly delight that never fails to impress!
Had an amazing time at barbakoa over the week. We were a walk in and GM Ana was able to accommodate our party of 2 at the bar while waiting for our table to be ready for a party of 4. whipped up some amazing cocktails(Berry-superstitious & Tequilin me small). We start with some croquetas and burnt ends cooked to perfection by the chef! (Chef Vinnie) We later moved to our table and Sebastian our server greeted me & my family with enthusiasm, making jokes and making us feel at home. We had a few more tapas such as Ceaser chicken salad, Ceviche and the loaded boniato fries! Also cooked to perfection. We then finished with a bread pudding. Pudding was nice and warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream on top. All in all, definitely recommend and had an amazing time with an amazing staff! Will be back!
After a very fun cruise (July 2023), we settled into our hotel room and took an Uber to Barbakoa by Finka. When you walk in, it's like a modern jungle theme with fresh fruit visible and in heavy use at the bar. We ordered brisket burnt ends for our appetizer and we ate it all! Since we were in Miami, I'd been experimenting with asking the bartender to concoct a cocktail based on what base liquor I desired. Our bartender overdelivered on this "dealer's choice" ask. It was soo good, I ordered 4 of them back to back. My friend had a Berry Superstitious and Reyka that was so pretty. She also ordered a Caesar Salad that had grilled lemon with it and we shared a Pepperoni Pie to satisfy our pizza cravings. It was seriously the best thick crust pizza I've ever had in my entire life! Whenever I'm back in Miami, I plan to return there for EVERYTHING!
One of the best places I’ve found to get delicious BBQ in Miami. They are Korean inspired with a lot of South American influence. The food was excellent, the cocktails where strong and the service was personable. For me, my favorites are the Peruvian specialty dishes. Next door is a beer/cocktails garden with a stage for live music. Free street parking or they’re a parking structure.
From the moment you enter the door you will experience top quality service. Chef Vinny spoiled us with amazing food. Valentina did an amazing job serving us. The whole staff was outstanding. Highly recommend !
Another delicious dinner at Barbakoa tonight. Beautiful and clean environment but the music was a bit too loud. Our server was really nice and service was quick. The brownie with dulce de leche ice cream and skillet cookie were excellent. Great date night spot.
We came to Miami for less than 24 hours and opted to come here for lunch and dinner instead of trying somewhere else. I will dream about the burnt ends until we can have that dish again! The burger is phenomenal. We also ordered the ceviche... I don't like seafood but liked this dish. But if I had a choice, I would order 2 orders of the burnt ends for myself and a cocktail! The cocktails are amazing too!
I loved this place it was really good we got here and parked in the garage conveniently located next to the restaurant but watch out because the restaurant it called the yard house of doral. When we got there we were there at 11:55 there aren’t usually people there at that time but if you have a big party you need to make a reservation or else they can’t sit you. Now to the food we got the snapper, macaroni and cheese and pizza they were all good and the Mac and cheese was real and not Kraft Mac they have organic drinks squeezed in the restaurant fresh also come here if you want live entertainment while you eat they have singers. This place was good and I would come back soon
Barbakoa at Doral Yard: A Culinary Delight Worth Exploring! Recently, I had the pleasure of visiting Barbakoa at Doral Yard, and let me just say, it was an incredible experience! From the moment I walked in, I was blown away. Located within a vibrant marketplace, Barbakoa stands out with its exclusive, air-conditioned seating area. I had made a reservation, but it wasn't overly crowded on the Sunday afternoon I visited, suggesting that walk-ins might be accommodated easily. As a parent with an infant, I appreciated the exceptional hospitality we received from the host. They promptly seated us at a table where we could comfortably accommodate our baby and her stroller. The attentiveness and warmth of the staff were truly commendable. The cocktail selection at Barbakoa is outstanding, and we decided to trust our server's recommendation. It turned out to be a great decision, as the cocktails were absolutely delightful. Each sip was a burst of flavor and further enhanced our dining experience. When it came to ordering our main course, my wife and I decided to share. We opted for the lomo saltado, served with fragrant white rice. Additionally, we couldn't resist trying their pepperoni and hot honey pizza. Oh my, it was heavenly! The combination of flavors was simply divine, making it my personal favorite dish at Barbakoa. As for appetizers, we ordered the burnt end brisket, and they quickly became my wife's favorite. The tender, smoky meat was incredibly satisfying and left us wanting more. While we didn't have desserts at Barbakoa, my wife desired a cup of coffee and headed to the nearby Juan Valdez café within Doral Yard. In conclusion, I wholeheartedly recommend Barbakoa at Doral Yard. The restaurant offers a remarkable culinary experience with its inviting ambiance, attentive staff, delectable cocktails, and mouthwatering dishes. Whether you're looking for a relaxing meal or a memorable outing, Barbakoa is a must-visit destination.
We had a great experience on a Friday evening. The drinks were amazing. Service was 10/10 even during a time when it could’ve been pretty busy. I loved the ox tail fried rice, the octopus app and the lamb chops. We are here for just a night but we will be back in February. Everyone can find something here.
Excellent atmosphere, great food, great staff. The Mac and cheese and brisket is delicious. Make sure to try the Korean salmon and any pizza as well. The corn ribs are also special.

We went for lunch with coworkers and had a good time. Service was great, and the ambiance was amazing. However. I'm not a super fan of the food. We ordered several dishes to try, and the presentation was great and had a good flavor, depending on the plate. Mc and cheese, fries, and all that stuff was good, but parrilla (steak) was cold and with a strange red sauce. The same for pulpo that was very dry. I was really expecting way more and higher quality for the price. It's not a bad idea if you like good vmfull of condiments. I like more natural flavors, so I was less than expected. Worth to try, but not one of my favorites
We had a great family outing to Doral Yard on a Wednesday, enjoying the cool atmosphere and delicious food and drink. Their unique drinks on the menu are refreshing and easy to drink too quickly if you're not careful. I highly recommend the burnt tips as an appetizer, the sauce that it comes on top of was absolutely phenomenal, so good in fact, that I was asking for the recipe afterwards lol. I also had the brisket that comes with a side of corn and creamy and flavor packed mac and cheese. It's my favorite thing I've had on the menu so far out of the things I've tried. I would definitely recommend for people looking to enjoy an awesome atmosphere without having to go all the way downtown and endure the traffic and other hustle and bustle.
I've been to Finka before but not Barbakoa at Finka. Ambience was great. Service was excellent. I ordered the Chicha Morada braised short rib,and my friends ordered the Gochujang Chimi chicken, and the smoked brisket. For appetizers we had the blistered shishito peppers and the truffle boniato fries. Very satisfied with what we had for our meal. Would definitely come back.
Good restaurant with unique foods. Definitely different from the usual restaurant and I don't believe I would come back. I will say that the burger I got was pretty good but the fries were terrific. Just as there are several places to try around here this is definitely one you should give a shot!

Came here for for a big party. Their cocktails are great, got the demon's cocktail that had pineapple juice in it. Started off with the Spanish loaded fries-big amount and good taste. However the entrees we felt sounded interesting but missed on execution. Dish flavors as a whole was average. Got the shrimp udon (too much sauce but great fried shrimp) and oxtail fried rice (forgettable flavor). Great place for a party or big group and great service but was not amazed with food
Trendy, casual and modern decor however is not a place to have private conversations not for dates very small tables close to each other. Food: the ceviche, too much lemon and the pieces small, the yuca frita it was more yuca fria Pollo Tropical makes them more crispy everything else we ordered was ok. The drinks were delicious...Finka still my favorite
