I proposed to my now fiancee here and everything was perfect! The staff was very friendly and helpful at making sure that it was a very special moment for the both of us. The manager was able to accommodate an amazing desert that I used for the proposal. The food was also fantastic! Anyone looking for a place to plan a special evening, I highly recommend this restraunt. Thank you again for an amazing night, we will absolutely be returning!

Austin is incredibly knowledgeable, attentive, kind, and passionate about his work. He let us sample one of Rich's masterful creations that absolutely blew us away, 16hr sous vide slab bacon finished in the oven with a delicious reduction. The setting is very comfortable and casual. The passion shines through in the service and food. The ribs and the duck breast are a must try. Cannot recommend this experience enough.

I’ve have had dinner here on several occasions and have yet to be disappointed. The Prime dinner has been cooked to perfection every time I’ve had it. The oysters starter is very tasty and they are of decent size not the size of oyster cracker. The lollipop lamb chops are super savory and my regular item every visit. The cocktails are top shelf quality and one is never enough. Austin, Jarod, and Natalia make the restaurant I want to visit on a regular bases. Thanks team for the great experiences!

Wow wow wow. We have eaten at steakhouses literally around the world. This place is world class. The decor is beautiful, like a cruise ship. And the ambient music is amazing. The temperature of the rooms are PERFECT. No detail has been missed here. We shared a wedge salad (omg) and a shrimp cocktail for starters. For mains, I had the 8oz filet mignon (cooked PERFECTLY), and my husband had the pork chop, I had the caramelized onion topping for my steak and he had the Demi glaze sauce for his pork chop. We also shared a baked potato and a mushroom side. We also shared a crème brûlée for dessert. All of our dishes were amazing, as was our server, Michelle. Absolutely perfect meal: the welcome to the restaurant, our seating, the service, the food, the dessert. We will be back FOREVER. Thank you for such a great meal.

The food is great on Sunday Brunch buffet, but it's a bit pricey. Customer service is excellent! I will go back!

Hello. Wife and I again visited RP Steakhouse and as usual, the experience was outstanding! Linda our service was absolutely wonderful! We received fantastic service! Came in one day prior to 64th birthday and was surprised with a birthday cake! She didn’t have to do that but she did! Wife and I got a kick out of it! Thanks and keep up the awesome work! Also Linda who works in the gift shop was wonderful as well. We left our phone charger at home and she assisted us with getting another one. She was very kind with a pleasant attitude!

The food was GREEAT. Our server Kenny was AMAZING.and very professional. His knowledge of the menu was superb. This restaurant deserves a visit. You will not be disappointed. Don’t forget to request Kenny he was/is just superb.

The food and drinks were great! While I was here my sunglasses fell out of my bag, my husband called the next day and they found them! The manager held them in a safe for me until we could pick them up. Absolutely fantastic customer service.

Came in last week and had the best service I’ve experienced in a while. From the reception desk to my server (I believe her name was Tyra). Everything was great! It was suggested by my server to visit the lounge for live entertainment, so I did. That experience was great as well the bartender was wonderful and had a great personality! Will definitely revisit.

Service is always good, the bar is always stocked with top shelf. The sliders are someone the best I've eating in Delaware. Steak has been on point with temperature everytime. I do wish the brunch would come soon

Went there last night for a birthday celebration. The waiter (Kenny) is our go to guy there he is very knowledgeable with wine!!! We had the surf and turf and it was nothing short of amazing (Kenny’s recommendation) we also had the Kansas City NY Strip which was also amazing. We do quite a bit of 5 star dining at steak houses and it’s hard to beat Royal Prime!!!! We shall return soon!!!

We have eaten at this steakhouse 3 times. The first 2 we got food to go. But yesterday we were celebrating a birthday and decided to eat in. This is a very nice steakhouse I do recommend you make a reservation. They were busy even on a Wednesday night. The food was excellent all 3 times. But since the service and atmosphere was excellent we start to dine in. I had the lobster tails they were excellent. My husband had lamb chop as an appetizer and the ribs and mushrooms for dinner. He loved all his food items. Also the bread was delicious.

Kevin was very professional he tended to all our needs and everything was ment ! I will recommend him next time I come back

Kenny was an amazing server who was on top of everything to a T. And everything was genuinely delicious.

Kudos to the bartender Cam who was exceptional. Great Martini. Besides Martini , I went to see the Football game. I'm not into red meat , so after studying the Menu , I had The Large Shrimp and I was still hungry. I asked Cam about the Pan seared Scottish Salmon , he said go for it , and he suggested try it blackened which I did. Unbelievable. I washed it down with a nice Pinot Grigio. What a Culinary experience. Also , To the Chef , Superlatives all the way.

My family and I was there to celebrate our son's bday and their wedding anniversary. The food was delicious. Kenny is the best. He was very attentive and made dri k suggestions. He is a gem. We will definitely be back.

Recently celebrated our 37th wedding anniversary. Our dinner was nothing short of excellent. The service was top notch. Our dinners, the Filet, Delmonico and the TBone were very very good. Definitely enjoyed ourselves. Would definitely recommend.

Our sever, Kenneth was great. We had a splendid night. Food was 20/10. Definitely recommend if you are looking for a place to have a pleasant time with amazing food

Lisa is the best bartender ever. Loves her customers and it shows! Remembers our drinks every time we’re here and is always super attentive and fun.

For the pricing, could have been a little bit of a better experience. The waitress we had wasn't exactly friendly or attentive. However there was another waitress serving other tables named Lyric, who was super attentive and friendly. We really wish we could have had her. We both opted for the prime rib special, and unfortunately her 12 oz prime rib was rather cold. My 16 oz prime rib was a decent temperature. My wife ordered a rose wine and they brought her some sort of mixed drink, and then then the waitress gave her side eye when she mentioned it was a rose wine that was ordered. I think that set things off to a bad tone to begin with. Your mileage may vary.

The service started out great and then diminished to non-existent once we received our food. We felt the price was too high for the quality. We don't mind paying for excellence. I will say the lamb chops were spectacular.

My sister and I were welcomed into the restaurant by a very friendly , manner-able, well groomed guy named Carl. He escorted us to our table and had a brief yet pleasant conversation with us . Our waitress was good very attentive and sweet .The host even came back to the after a while to check on us . I thought that was excellent of him ;I even thought this well spoken guy was the manager but he told my sister and I he was just the host ! I told him he needs a promotion he was just a great guy who enhance our dining experience. This steakhouse was really good some of the best steak that I have ever eaten. The chef or chefs are doing and amazing job. I would recommend this place to family and friends and tell them if they get a chance to talk to the host we had he’s one of a kind top tier and just made our night at the Royal prime. We will be back and hope we have Carl as a host again . After being in the house over a 2 yrs due to the pandemic we had a very pleasant encounter we had with the host he needs to be recognized just like the great steak I had!!

The food was delicious. My steak was the best and the creamed spinach was divine! I'll definitely go back. The only thing I would ask them to work on is the service. They didn't bring menus immediately and it took over an hour for us to be seated. It was OK nog then because I reminded them they told us a 30 minute to an hour wait. But once I finally are I was a happy camper. I'll go back for sure.

Food was great. Service was excellent. Kenny our server was knowledgeable about all the menu items made great suggestions and was very attentive. We waited and wanted for nothing. Thanks Kenny God bless

**This is for Royal Prime Lounge Customer service was non-existent. French fries were freezer fries. Weren’t informed about happy hour specials. We found out about the happy hour menu ourselves after taking a menu off the table next to us. I don’t think our server knew it was happy hour because our bill did not reflect the happy hour price and we had to get the manager to take it off. We were not given any utensils or napkins until after our appetizer arrived and yes, we had to ASK for them. Restaurant was empty with only 1 other couple dining. Best part was the live music, the burgers and convenience to the Ballys hotel rooms/casino.

Went last week on Christmas Eve for the prime rib “special” which I have had in the past and was very pleased with. This time, however there was nothing “special“ about the special. Before you got a salad and dessert and a ramekin of horseradish. This time it was meat, mashed potato & broccoli, with no option to change anything. On top of that when I asked for horseradish, which typically comes with it, they charged me five dollars for a small ramekin?Although the wedge salad I ordered and the sides were good, the meat was not as flavorful as I remembered (hence why I asked for the horse radish). Overall very disappointing and in poor taste to charge for a condiment that is traditionally served with a dish. To have the audacity to call something a “special” when there is nothing special about it whatsoever is at the very least, disingenuous and deceptive. I even spoke to the manager about it who did not seem to care nor did he offer any recourse. Kenny did a great job serving us as usual but if this is how it will be in the future, I won’t be returning.

Went here for a date night. My husband and I were excited to go to this restaurant. When we arrived, the waitress was missing the entire evening. She only came to the table twice. Once, when she came 15 minutes after we arrived to take our order and about an 1 and half or so later to take our dishes. The food was great but the service killed the entire vibe! We will go back and sit at the bar. No need to have a waitress if you have to ask anyone walking by to help you. Several random waiters and the hostess was asked by me to bring us rolls, drinks and food. If not we would have not eaten. At one point my husband got up and looked for seats at the bar. Horrible Horrible service.

Very poor experience. Staff are poorly trained. Food, very poorly executed. Bread was stale, coffee old, the 12 oz. Fillet mignon completely ruined, burnt on the outside and raw in the inside. Order placed, med-rare.

Went I and sat at bar, ordered a drink that was on their website. Bartender walked off and served someone else and then came back to take our orders and I said I already ordered and he said but what you asked for is just a brand of gin, so instead of clarifying my order he just ignored it and then was unhelpful. Ended up not getting anything because he made me feel insignificant

I was looking for a good restaurant to eat at for my birthday and the Royal Prime seemed nice in Ballys Dover. Got seated right away which was nice. Order salads and had water. However, it took so long to get a refill on water. Waiter came he was nice, took our order and left. Food came out and that's where the problem began. We don't eat steak so we ordered chicken and salmon. Chicken looked and tasted like it wasn't cleaned and it was rubbery. Like fake chicken it looked plastic. The salmon was tasteless like the put it in the microwave. No lemon,butter, seasoning or a char mark anywhere. Looked for my waiter to ask for at least some melted butter but he was nowhere in sight. But I am noticing everyone in the restaurant has bread on the table. We didn't get bread are we exempt from that offer I wonder. We didn't really eat the food and asked for the check. I was very disappointed in my dinner and need a do over. I see that to be able to have any kind of decent dinner I have to leave Dover. I won't be returning to Royal Prime Steakhouse and I would advise not to have dinner there if your from out of state.
