Super service, great food, Kristina our server outstanding and April a manager so pleasant. Enjoyed the friendly banter. Great atmosphere.

Had a chance to chat with the Manager April what a nice person. She made a point to come over and introduce herself . So nice that meant a lot such a personal touch!

It was a great atmosphere, service and quality of food. I recommend this place to all my friends

Xavier was our waiter. Really efficient and attentive. Of course the food was good. Why do you think we go there? Breaking slightly above even on Keno dint hurt either. LOL

We had an amazing experience and April was delightful. She was very personable and accommodating and made us definitely want to come back again!

Melissa, our server, was awesome! I love someone who doesn’t take themselves too seriously. Way to go, Melissa! We got dinner and a show!

We had such a fun time assembling the planters—it was a great hands-on experience and something a little different from the usual night out. Afterward, we relaxed with appetizers and drinks both in the private room and out in the main restaurant area. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, with a friendly crowd and upbeat energy. It happened to be Friday night during the Eagles Pep Rally, and the place was buzzing with excitement. They definitely drew a big turnout, which added to the lively vibe. Even with the crowd, everything felt organized and enjoyable. Between the creative activity, tasty bites, and spirited environment, it made for a memorable evening. I’d absolutely recommend checking it out if you’re looking for something fun and social to do!

My my my! I had been thinking all week, where would I go to watch the Eagles game. My coworkers encouraged me to come to Glynn’s Pub in People’s Plaza. At first I was hesitant because I’ve never been there before, BUT I said why not?? The moment I walked in I was greeted at the front. The atmosphere was great and was just what I wanted. I noticed a lady walking around talking to the customers, clearly I knew she worked there because of her demeanor and her friendliness. After she finished speaking to the other customers, I called her over to my table to inquire about my turkey burger, she went into full detail and explained to me how the restaurant prepares the burger. April one of the managers was great, I admired that she took time out for me. There was also an incident that happened with a customer who had a little too much to drink and April handled it very well and professional. I must say we need more people like her and this will not be the last time I will be coming to Glynn’s restaurant! I found a new place that I can cheer on with other Philadelphia Eagle fans.. Melissa was our waitress and her attentiveness was unlike any experience we have had before. It felt like she was reading our minds, keeping our drinks full and our belly’s happy. Melissa’s service was personable, quick, and most of all relaxing. The food was delicious and the drinks were great. 10/10

Chill place good food. Been looking for a good blackened chicken sandwich since years ago at Deer Park on Newark's Main Street and they had it! Be forewarned, ordering nachos will return a mountain of a dish!

The restaurant is clean and the staff are nice. The food order was a little slow but we did have soup and appetizers. The food itself was average. I ordered French onion soup which was unique compared to other places. The serving is large and it had a good flavor. I also ordered a hot roast beef sandwich. It wasn’t as I expected. It came out on a round roll with orange cheese. I did not like the gravy that it came with but the roast beef was the cleanest and most flavorful I have ever had on a restaurant roast beef sandwich. I be would return to this restaurant.

The food came out in a timely manor. The presentation was amazing as well. Something that most people don’t notice is they even added a London newsprint wax paper which is the true Origin of the dish. The drinks also came in a timely manner and our server Cam was very friendly, and Considerate.

Went here Wednesday sept 25 for a meal after a funeral at 3p. Bar was busy tables really were not. We ordered wings to share and they were ok however for the price the wings were small and very few. I had a chicken sandwich and requeated the cole slaw and jalapeno on the side. Thank goodness the cole slaw was not very good. The chicken was good. For $2 more I upgraded to sweet potatoe fries and the portion was tiny. My friend enjoyed her onion soup. The other guest liked their burger. There were good drink specials. The decor was nice and had been renovated. Waitress was ok. It was a decent meal just was hoping for better.

I got the hot roast beef sandwich & I would have given it 5 stars if it was on a kaiser roll the brioche roll was too soft, my husband got the chili & chicken Cesar wrap & he enjoyed both our waitress was awesome but we were seated in a broken down booth on the right side of the restaurant!

I'm used to the one in Dover, we sat at the bar for lunch and our bartender appeared to be the only person working. She had a hard time keeping up when it became busier.

McGlynns Pub - Glasgow is always a solid choice. The pub food is consistently good, the beer selection is awesome, and the service is usually very good as well. We like stopping here when we’re heading out to the movies—it’s an easy, reliable spot that never disappoints.

Went to this place to have a few drinks after a movie and had a great time drinks were good but my food was ok not what i had on previous visits. But people were great staff was busy but still managed to not have us wait long everything was great besides my food.

I have only been here a few times because it was really dark and i like to see what i am eating and drinking. My most recent visit i was able to set on the small patio slash smoking area. Food was good i liked the home made chips. Update: i stopped by again today. It was a bit humid so i decided to chexkout the inside, to my suprise the place is a lot more i viting..brighter inside that it was years ago. They removed a dividing wall and lighted up the paint.

The bar used to be a good place to have a beer and have good food and I hope it may be in the future. but tonight I was threatened twice by different people to end my life. Security took way too long to appear. Second time the person was still at the bar. For the safety of my family and children I won’t be going there again, I informed them. apparently “they are looking for me” I am Looking forward to the police report results. Just a Thursday night. I am a regular who spends money there. I have Now been scared away, I will go into trolley going forward. I hope the police take this seriously. Let’s see if the bar takes people who leave no tips vs regulars seriously.

We were here on a Friday night about 6pm and it was slam-packed! We got the traditional and boneless wings (cut and breaded in house) with a side of fries and cheese sauce. Both sets of wings were good - but not spicy enough. We got extra sauce for them, but they still weren't super spicy - just orange. The beers were good - we didn't get anything particularly weird...Jai Alai from Cigar City Brewing and Two Hearted from Bell's (both highly recommend). Our server tho...really really great. Quick, attentive (but not too attentive), and always moving to serve a customer. Thanks!

My fiancé has been going to McGlynn’s since 2011. As an Army Veteran, he has always received a military discount, including our last visit this summer. During our most recent visit, he was told they do not give nor have they ever been supposed to be giving a military discount. It is even in the employee handbook and was verified by a call to the owner.

We came in for the shrimp feast that was advertised. No one was at the hostess station. A woman came by about 5 minutes later. The popcorn machine was empty. I mentioned to the hostess if they were going to make more. She told me she would tell someone. I had to go up to the bar area after about 10 minutes to ask again. My husband and his sister ordered the shrimp feast. They said that the shrimp were a little mushy. I got the short rib grilled cheese that was good. My brother in law got the smash burger which he enjoyed. The biggest problem was our server. We had VERY poor service. She checked on us once after we got our food. When we were done eating, I asked for a box which she gave me. We were all finished with our dinner. She walked off without cleaning any of our dishes. She disappeared a few times. We didn't even see her around. Another male server came by and cleared our dishes. We asked if he could please get our server for our check. We waited another 10 minutes for her to give us our check. We won't be back anytime soon. I think management really needs to get on the wait staff to step up and do a better job.

We have eaten here before & have had good experience. Unfortunately our experience on Oct 3, 2024 was not like before. The server seemed over whelmed, but did an excellent job. The food quality & portions was not like previous visits. Portions were small & some items served cold & green vegetable served was unbeatable. The meat was good. We explained the vegable issue to the server, who said they informed someone, but no over of a substitute. We will try here again, but not for awhile. Hope things are improved.

Our server, Daisy, was completely disinterested. We were going to order more, but decided against it, since she couldn’t be bothered.She never checked on us until it was time for the check. The food was good, as usual. We come here often, this was the first time we’ve had an issue.

I love coming here all the time. I love sitting at the bar, but lately Alicia has been our server and she doesn't pay attention or check on her customers. Food comes out cold. If you need a beer good luck. I dread getting her, i will sit at a table next time. This is not the first time. Every other bartender is on point and makesh experience enjoyable!!!

How in the hell can they almost never have baked potatoes for dinner? They're so easy, just put them in the oven..... by the way, they go great with prime rib..... just saying

Went in and waited to be seated. No one ever acknowledged we were standing there. We finally got tired of standing so we seated ourselves. My husband had to go look for a waitress who sent another waitress over. With an attitude She came over to inform us we weren't to seat ourselves. We said no one came to seat us and since she had an attitude we got up and left. If you don't want someone to seat themselves you should be more vigilant and watch for customers coming into the establishment. We have eaten here before and the waitress with the attitude has taken care of us in the past. Maybe a bad night. Whatever the case, definitely not how you treat your customers.

The first time I went the cheesesteak egg rolls were burnt but then the second time I had them properly cooked and they still tasted terrible. Also those were the WORST buffalo wings I’ve ever had in my life the meat was weirdly tough and the sauce (which didn’t even taste good) was distributed so unevenly between each piece. Also their water tastes like public water fountain water. You’re better off eating literally anywhere else in People’s Plaza but if you’re really craving pub food, drive 5 miles down the road and go to Klondike Kate’s instead.

The food here is mediocre at best The atmosphere is that of a biker bar full of drunk locals and just not very inviting. The tables were sticky and the food is overpriced for the quality that you receive. If you're looking for a little dive bar to hang out and drink in this is the perfect place to hang out but, as far as dining do yourself a favor and go somewhere else.

Place is really just good for getting a drink. Table service is super slow. Food came out before my bar drink did. The stuffed burger looked like a small meatball. Had no filling and was dry like the desert. The portion of fries were what a toddler would get with a kids meal. The boneless wings for 13.99 were a half portion of what we received last time. There was maybe 7 small nubs. Sad as this place use to be packed everyday.

We had to close out our bill because our server, Dan, was let go by his manager for the day. No one came back to our table for 20 minutes to bring us water or check on us. We had told Dan that we weren't leaving when he closed us out. I tried to flag down a server, and she ignored me. I then resorted to confronting the host. They were not busy. There were 15-20 people in the establishment at its busiest point. I'm very disappointed! The manager then came over and said "I guess I can get you a server." She seemed upset. We weren't holding up a table. We were waiting for wait staff to take our orders. UPDATE: Damian addressed our concerns before we left the establishment. Thank you Damian.

Called to place an order for wings for the Super Bowl girl on the phone says it’s for dine in only for the Super Bowl wing deal. Add on Facebook says To-Go but either way at least honor what your add says

I’ve been here before it was really good. When I ordered out however my order was wrong. I got the kitchen sink burger meal with fries and a side baked potato. This must have been a joke to them because I kid you not there were two singular French fries stuck to my burger bun. Absolutely insulting. Couldn’t even enjoy the meal I paid for properly.

I ordered the nachos and got this sad excuse of a meal. Whoever let this leave the kitchen messed up big time. All the toppings except lettuce and tomatoes were missing. The cheese isn’t even melted. Like look how pathetic this dish is, it’s insulting

Horrible! My family and I stopped by last night and first had to walk thru a cloud of cigarette smoke from smokers right outside the door and on the patio. Then all that smoke is trapped in the entry way. Now we stand at the host stand to be seated and Noone arrives for atleast 5 minutes because they were all streaming talking on the other side of the restaurant. When the host comes over doesn't even greet us just says how many so I request a table and he responds with ( ok so a booth) I repeat again asking for a table and he says sure and he disappears. So we are now standing there all 5 of us looking around and Noone comes back so we left. Not returning to this establishment again. If you want to go to a good, clean, inviting McGlynns go to Greenville not this one.

Was just told tonight, by the staff. The owners do not support the troops. I have been going there (2011) for many years. They always have me a military discount. But not tonight! The staff had to read the hand book and than called the owners. I was told No. I don't think any military personal should support that kind of place. Other hand service was great. That the owners need to rethink about us service members. Thank you

Me and my friend came in at around 7:30. We ended up waiting about 10 minutes before we were even greeted by the host. The bar was about 2/3 full and then there were around 4 tables total in the restaurant that I could see. After getting sat outside we were there for around 5 mins before our pink short haired waitress finally came out to us. We put in our drink orders and then waited another 10-15 mins. I ended up going inside and walking around the bar to see if maybe our drinks were in the service well but I didn’t see them. Our server was talking to one of her tables and we weren’t going to wait any longer so we left. As both of us being servers ourselves, this was honestly pretty agitating and whether it was the server or the bartender or even both, something def needs to be done. I’ve been here before and had great experiences but whoever was on shift today def was not it. Something’s gotta be done and I hope this is addressed immediately.
