Morralito has always been quality, delicious food and drinks right from the start. We have been treated consistently as family as well as friends. we got take out food and drinks tonight when we would have normally just popped in there for an impromptu dinner with brother and sister in law. Broke our hearts to see an empty restaurant and none of our usual sweet and friendly servers. PLEASE ORDER TAKE OUT from them, they are struggling and need us just as we have needed and counted on them in the past. Thanks!

We had a great dinner there. Prices were good.. Portions were large. Food was great! This isn't a shopping plaza pick up joint. It's a decent sit down restaurant. Decent service, though our servers attempts at humor didn't translate, he tried. I would go back again. I good stop between LA and Vegas.

Went there for appetizers and drinks work friends. We had the appetizer platter which had a nice variety of snack foods such as mini quesadillas, mini taquitos, nachos and such. Tasty. I had a cup of warm Mexican chocolate. Very nice experience, tasty food and good company. We'll probably go there again. They also mentioned they had karaoke with Spanish music, but we did not stay for that. Overall a very nice time.

The Morralito is my favorite restaurant! I have eaten there twice a week for about 9 months and every time has been just awesome. Yes awesome food and service but much more as the staff are wonderful. So if you want excellent traditional food go there and enjoy a great menu served by friendly staff. Enjoy a Carta Blanca with your delicious meal you will not be disappointed! I look forward to my next visit!

Very nice employees and they're drinks are better than anywhere around. Some of the food is ok. I think they need a new cook and then it would be perfect.. Wouldn't go anywhere else for drinks!! They're happy hour is pretty good. You get a large beer and a tostada or enchalada for $5. Which are pretty good!

Just tried Moralito for the first time yesterday. They were able to make substitutions to avoid allergens. The food was good. Mild enough for kiddos, but flavorful enough for adults. Great enchiladas, great margaritas. The beans and rice were good and cooked well and not over cooked like some places. I love that they don't put weird veggies in their rice. My only word of caution with this place was that it took about an hour for my order rather than the 20 minutes they stated on the phone. I suspect this is due to the fact that they're usually a sit down place and also yesterday was probably a busy day for them. Great job overall! Thanks, Moralito!

Absolutely amazing carnitas! They were well seasoned and crispy. Also great margaritas, and the guacamole was on top of lettuce, red cabbage, and chopped cucumbers which added an extra level of texture and freshness. 100% recommended

Great place to eat authentic Mexican food with family , I always drive past this place I’ve never been here I am happy we gave it a try. I came on Saturday night it was busy the service was still on point. The servers where very attentive to us with three small kids that was very important we got the food very quickly the food was very tasteful the bill was not bad at all either for all the food we got. We will defiantly be coming back to try other plates and have drinks for sure without kids.

The food was some of the best Mexican food I have had in a long time. The margarita I has was made by hand not out of a gun or machine. Service was great and so was the atmosphere. Would eat there again anytime.

The food looks really good. It tastes okay. The mimosa was good. The service was great!! The waiter that I remember when I was a kid is still there. It's been working there for 21 years. The name of the place has from El ranchero to the name it has now. The bathrooms were clean but there were no toilet seat covers. We would definitely go again, it's family friendly and you can watch the cowboys game.

As a guest of a friend, I found this place to be well run, efficient, friendly, and the food to be more than passable fare. I had read on "Nextdoor" that this place had various negative issues but, I'll have to chalk it up to some clientele getting worked up over a billing issue. I saw none of that here and I would recommend this place for a nice quiet, and pleasant Sunday night dinner

Update March 2022: the food and drinks are still great and the staff is still helpful. They upgraded the men's bathroom a little and the funny smell is no more 👍 The food and drinks are good and the waiters come around often. Only problem is, after a certain smell in the restroom

The food was hot though. I ordered an enchilada, tostada salad, crispy taco, and omelette. They did have a big bar area and there are plenty of TVs to watch sports on. So if anything, this is a good place to get a drink and watch the game. Got at your risk. Like I said, it does have a nice clean area to eat.

All food came in big servings. Environment is good, however, the interior lighting could be brighter. Overall, good dining experience for me and my family.

With so many Mexican restaurants in this area, why go to one that's just "OK?" Too many with great food, I not spending money on "OK." so I"m not returning. I told the waitress too. Chips tasted old, Salsa tasted ok, it's that runny kind and not that chunky kind that has bits of tomato and onion, and cilantro. I think it came from a jar and not made there. I told the waitress that I thought it was no made at their place and she didn't' correct me. The tacos were decent. The beans were average but not great. I am very disappointed in this place. When it was the "Ranchero" restaurant it was great! But when the owner died they sold it and then it went downhill. I know it's not very good as not many people were there. I don't see how this place will last given it's bland, mediocre food. I usually go to Cabrera's in Arcadia on Live oak and the place was packed. I regret going to this place. Yuk. Too bad.

This particular time, they had the doors open and the music playing but the place was being fumigated. I was able to walk in and after about 10 minutes of trying to find an employee the second employee I saw told me they were being fumigated, the first one just smiled and went into an employee area.

Taco and enchiladas were good/decent but the rice and beans had an after-taste of fish! Lost my appetite. Seriously, clean your utensils!

Service is great, seems like a good place to watch some games as they have 2 TVs outside and more inside. The food is ok. Kinda weird that all of the meat is cut into cubes. Feels like it was prepared and not just cooked.

I eat there often and order the same plate, Chile relleno with enchilada and it’s a very good choice for me. On this visit the Chile relleno was small in size kind of like a Chile jalapeño. The plate had a lot of rice and very little frijoles fritos. I will go again and order the same plate and I will take a picture to share it with you.

The food lacked flavor. For Mexican food it was very bland. We were one of only 2 tables and were had to find the waiter to get our water glasses refilled.

I have been here more than 4 times. Only once for myself to eat and the rest as a delivery driver. The wait is horrible 99 percent of the time. Quality is fine, but I don't have that kind of time. Come at your own risk knowing that.

Service was friendly and attentive . There is nothing bad I can say about the service. The ambiance was that off a Mexican Pueblo, cute and with lots of TVs for viewing sports and things of that nature , But my food was straight up bad. I had the carne asada plate and I don’t think I’ve had a worst carne asada in my life. It was paper thin, chewy and had absolutely no flavor. To be honest it had a weird color and I thought it was gonna make me sick. (Thankfully it did not) It came with rice, beans a bit of salad and some guacamole. The sides were perfectly fine…. But again, just awful carne asada. My wife had taquitos. She said they were bland and lacked flavor. I went with my family, but I think at best, they thought the food was barely okay and at worst , well , it was my bland chewy carne asada. Also, agave in the rear of the restaurant could use some TLC. They were sad looking and wilting. It’s beyond me how they could let’s the agave degenerate into that state as it is a hardy and beautiful plant. All in all, don’t go there for the food. Or if you don’t want to see dying agave plants. (Which again , is crazy to me, cuz they’re so hard to kill. I had agave plants sitting in a plastic bag in my garage , bare roots and unwatered and they still survived and flourished after I planted them)

Had dinner here last night. The food was much diminished in quality since my last visit. Instead of nicely diced chunks of chicken in mole sauce it was now leg and thigh on the bone. All the time we were there there was a singer with guitar at a volume level that made it impossible for my friends and I couldn't have a conversation. All in all a most disappointing meal.

Food was served only slightly warmed. Taste was ok, but would have been better hot. Had to ask for drink refills. Mind you it was not busy. Saturday at 5pm. Only 2 other tables dining. Disappointing, and I wont be back.

The food was Great, sat at the bar. The bar tender was working hard and was very busy.. He didnt acknowledge anyone at the bar including me. I had to track him down. He did tell me the cinco de mayo specials. That got free taquitos with a drink nothing. I flagged waiters that passed by and the were kind and most serving. I'm sure the bar tender has good intentions but they may need to get him some help. Love the place anyway.

This place was interesting. The food was very filling. The series horrible. As we waited to 20 to order. Thet brought out chips and salsa. The salsa was yummy but the chips tasted like super old oil. The flavor is something that I was never able to get over. Then as we waited more the tacos we ordered came out.they where some of the smallest tacos I have ever seen. Over all I would say do not go there for taco Tuesday. A lot of other orders looked delicious. But if there was something fried, can't imagine that the meal would be all that much better

Went here yesterday (sunday) had a terrible experience. The waiter who took my order, was very rude. Took him 25 minutes to take my order. Or to acknowledge my presence. I ordered the menus. Took another 30 mins. Once I took the to-go order. I had no eating utensils. Failed to give me, rice, tortillas, onions, cilantro, etc. Food was soon hot, burnt the inside of my mouth badly. Ordered a steak picado burrito. Item was $14 and not even spicy favored. Two year old could have eaten easily. Not happy with taste and amount of meat in burrito. Will Not visit this location again, not only for food but pruces very high.

I went to dj 16 years old birthday and we asked the manager that we need to use the TV , but for some reason they didn't know how to power in ... Also they didn't serve us food !!! We were celebrating our Post Master retirement party, we pay 35.00dollars each and they only served one enchilada 1 taco rice and beans,and a soft drink,I ask the waiter if I could have coffe instead he said no, I thought that since we pay so much for the food they serve us the couldn't make an exception and give me the coffee instead, I'm so disappointed at that Restaurant, never going back 😡😡😡I forgot to add that the food was cold😡😠😠

As a server I personally expect a waiter to come back within 5 minutes. Just to see about refills .... And once again I had to ask for refills... They were not busy. There was flies and bugs everywhere flying around. We were inside... ... When i told the server how all the bugs were landing on my food. He just laughed... Smiled... I barely ate my food.. And was really grossed out.. Not that it matters, But I felt really disgusted being here. The servers don't care... He apologized. But ill tell you this...He didn't care. No one did. I have eaten lunch here about a dozen times since the name/ownership changed. I have never come for dinner. Service has always left me wanting but I figured only only a couple people to run the place I gave them some leeway after they let their waitresses go. They probably left due to lack of tips and business. The last time I was here the other two guys I were with both said that's the last time I'm coming here. I agreed. The food was prepared like the cooks just didn't care anymore. So if they give up, I do too. BTW, most of the staff I dealt with were almost sour, meaning their attitude was hardly ever friendly.

FYI Management: Food was warm. Please tell the chefs to take a few extra minutes to bake the chili relleno. The salsa water is not salsa. Red water & onions with a few tiny diced tomatoes is not salsa. AND both toilets did not work in the women’s room. Unacceptable. All three things are unacceptable. Why do you want customers to go to other restaurants because of your low standards? I don’t get it. However, The female cute waitress was lovely.

Wondering why the place was practically empty. Only 6 customers in this place. Ordered a Campechana and got a shrimp cocktail with 6 srimp and a glass full of onions, tomatoes and water. Returned it for the actual order. Received a different glass with 4 shrimp this time. The glass was full of the same vegetables but this time it had imitation crab, and a couple of pieces of octopus. It was disappointing. I ate the 4 shrimp, because by then I was starving. Paid the bill after manager took of the cocktail. Left a tip and left. Will not be coming here again.

Wondering why the place was practically empty. Only 6 customers in this place. Ordered a Campechana and got a shrimp cocktail with 6 srimp and a glass full of onions, tomatoes and water. Jan. 7, 2026 I have to write this: I use to own a restaurant. I also go out to eat. The funny thing is I order hot food or cold food. I ordered a Machaca Burrito, unfortunately. I wanted ground beef but they were out of it. Interesting as there are stores near by. It is not shredded beef. It is chunks of shredded beef that you must rip apart with your fingers. Awful. I asked the waiter if it was good and he said yes. It is not. Shredded beef means it’s loose, shredded not clumped together. Also served hot. Mine was cool, lukewarm. The butter knife, with a black handle, does not cut through a chunk of beef. Impossible. The tortilla was cool. The beans were cool, lukewarm. The red sauce was cool, lukewarm. Wow, my burrito was served within 3 minutes. I was shocked. The reason it was served in 3 minutes was because nothing was warm, hot, very hot. Nothing. Plate was cold. So….i was so hungry, I hate half, and took the rest home and heated it up to HOT as not to waste money. I do not recommend buying the shredded beef. It will come in chunks that you cannot cut. Also, tell your waiter you want hot food. You are willing to wait 5-10 minutes for hot food. Obviously the plates should be hot like other restaurants. Sitting under the red lights. So: Plate cold Beans cool Meat cool Tortilla cool Red sauce cool And salsa is usually with tomatoes and a little onion. Not here. Salsa is chunks of onion with a tiny tiny tiny tomato or 2. It’s so crazy to me that management wants a bad review instead of making sure their cooks know how to serve HOT food. Salsa is Tomato salsa, not onion salsa. The waiter was very nice. I was so disappointed in the cold food. We must demand good food, hot or cold for our money. IMO.

FYI Management: Food was warm. Please tell the chefs to take a few extra minutes to bake the chili relleno. The salsa water is not salsa. Red water & onions with a few tiny diced tomatoes is not salsa. AND both toilets did not work in the women’s room. Unacceptable. All three things are unacceptable. Why do you want customers to go to other restaurants because of your low standards? I don’t get it. However, The female cute waitress was lovely.
