Food, service, atmosphere....100%. The Italian manager is super and runs an excellent restaurant. Best for miles around.

Delicious & generous slice of gluten free carrot cake to go with great coffee. As a coeliac it's always a risk eating out because of cross-contamination, especially with cakes so I was very happy to enjoy it with no reaction to it at all (ie there was no contamination ) other than enjoyment!

Lovely meal, great burger. Busy atmosphere due to rugby match but lovely waitress Molly was very accommodating and friendly! Squished me and the lads onto a table, will be coming back for sure.

Just excellent. Starters of garlic bread, bruschetta, calamari, all perfect. Mains was pizza, mussels (more on that below), and chicken wings. Mussels - the staff brought a starter portion by a mistake. Within 5 mins we had a main course (in addition to the starter portion!) and an apology from the manager. Could not ask for better response. I love *hot* food and the food was piping hot, served on hot plates. Really good buzz in the place. 100% will be back.

Been going for years as it's one of my local restaurants. Had a lovely table outside on Saturday, 12 June 2021. Weather was perfect and we had an awning over us, food was excellent as always. Had many take away meals during the lockdown but it was great to be back there in person. Well done Pete's 👏

Best kept secret in Dublin 4!!! The coffee will keep you coming back but other dishes too are very tempting..... Eggs benedict were delicious and the staff are so friendly. Will have to go back from dinner as everything I have seen in Pete's bears trying out!! Lovely place, full of atmosphere and very relaxed. Not haut cuisine but so much better!!

Having enjoyed delicious take out burgers and fries from Pete's during restrictions it was our first choice for Sat brunch inside today. All three of us were suitably stuffed afterwards - really like this place and staff very friendly. Highly recommend Pete's on Sandymount Green ;-)

After a walk at the beach, you must stop and enjoy a drink and a nice meal at Pete's. The fish of the day and the risotto of the day assure a new experience every time, along with the regular menu. Staff very friendly

The Burgers are just out of this world! Great food and great service. My Dad and kids love going here for lunch on a Sunday.

Peats has been a lifesaver over the last 18 months, great food. Lovely staff, and moved with the times to offer take out, then outdoor, and now indoor dining again. Good value well cooked and decent portions. Recommend if in the Sandymount or Ballsbridge area or after a walk along the beach.

Pete's is really reliable, good food with a lovely atmosphere and helpful staff. It's great for an early meal with kids and later in the evening for just adults.

Staff were amazing extremely friendly and helpful. The food was gorgeous. Will definitely return soon.

went here with a family of 12 we had a couple of kids with us didn’t even order pizza and the chef got the kids up making their own pizza gave the kids desert again on the house food was excellent and the waiters were more than accommodating we truly had a brilliant dining experience highly recommend it

The food was absolutely lovely, and I have been dining there for a good while now. I would happily recommend the place to anyone. There were a few waiters on, all of them very sound and welcoming. I especially love seeing young people working as waiters .They were clearly working hard, full of energy, and very friendly. I had great craic chatting with two of them, Yuki and Fayul, and Fayul in particular was great fun and we had a good laugh. The chef even came over to have a chat with us as well, which was a really nice touch. Overall, it was great fun and a brilliant night out. I would definitely recommend giving it a visit.

I really liked Pete's of Sandymount. I wish they had aperol spritz but we got prosecco instead. The food was great! We all enjoyed it. The kids enjoyed their margherita pizza. I love that they have a proper high chair for the little one too. It's very convenient. The staff was friendly and the atmosphere was super chill.

Laid back local Italian eatery. Great pizza, even a few tables down the back by the pizza oven where you can watch them being made. Menu is simple but tasty with a separate section for kids. Some outdoor seating available for when the weather is nice and plenty of high chairs available for the little ones.

It's great pizza. It's crispy and crunchy. I had the Goats cheese it was tasty, could have done with more goats cheese toppings for me. Apart from that how could I fault anything about this place it's wonderful. It's tasty it reminds me of my time abroad. Great Italian pizza. Can't wait to try more. I want the pasta next. Haven't being inside yet can't comment about the place from what I know it's a happening little place in the village of Sandymount. Who doesn't love 🍕 for dinner. I enjoyed it a lot thanks guys. A trendy place to eat in Sandymount must try restaurant.

Good affordable, satisfying grub in the heart of Sandymount... Great Pizza and plenty of other tasty options... Food only beaten by the service..

It was good but I had a hard time communicating with our server. I ordered a veggie burger and I'm fairly certain that I received a meat burger despite my attempts to ensure it was the veggie one from the menu. But the rest of my family quite enjoyed their meals.

Very slow service on what was a quiet period in the restaurant with only 4 others tables filled. Food was ok, definitely over priced for what it was.

There twice recently for pre game food. Had the burger and I thought it was perfect. Service was a key factor for our return as Sofia was very professional and very warm and welcoming. She could not have been better. All in all a great spot for a pre or post match bite to eat. Not alone have they a good wine selection you can get Peroni on draught. Looking forward to our return for the Australian game

Pleasant experience apart from the waiter dropping the glasses of wine and water....but they did open a bottle of our preferred wine to let us have a couple of glasses when the menu only sold the wine by the bottle. Very accommodating. Meals were tasty but a little short on the meat ingredient.

I visited once before and really enjoyed my meal. On this occasion I was disappointed with my burger. It was very dry and the bacon was overcooked. Maybe just unlucky. I will try another time. Ambience is nice.

Waiter was a little unfriendly to begin with. Food was good. Other waitresses were very pleasant. No baby changing facilities available.

We were looking for somewhere to eat after a walk along the coast and stopped by Pete's. Surprised in this day and age to see no allergens listed on the menu. They had no vegan cheese and no chicken as a topping option. Ordered the ham and rocket pizza, but you won't believe this, there was limp lettuce scattered all over the top. There was a tiny Amazon lamp on the table, one of those you tap the top to turn on and off, my dinner mate found the light distracting so tapped it off and moved it aside. Mid-conversation, mid-limp-lettuce being removed from my pizza, a waiter came over and grabbed the lamp, moved it, turned it back on and moved it back to where we had set it aside to. And did I mention it took them 10 minutes to give us a menu? And did I mention they let their telephone ring for minutes, minutes, on end without even answering it? And did I mention I don't believe we met said Pete? Lettuce on a pizza, why I never.

Had a pizza here. Unfortunately it wasn't that great the pizza was very average. The Wings were bad and the chips were soggy tasted like they were done in an oven and not a fryer.

Went to Pete’s tonight and I was very disappointed with service and cost . I was charged €23.95 for a small piece of cod with a small amount of salad . When we queried the price - sure that there had been a mistake - we were met with a shrugging of the shoulder/ take it or leave it attitude, as a local I was very disappointed with the attitude. Will think again before frequenting Pete’s

Not great, probably good for families. Food is not good or terrible, the pasta dishes are large and stodgy for example they use cream in their carbonara which is a sin in Italy. Presentation of the food and restaurant needs improvement. Not very clean. Pizzas looked nice, they served us a medium kids burger in a giant bun, I really wish restaurants would actually offer a smaller bun and burger for kids as opposed to a lazy offering of an adults burger without the toppings.

Came with friends for lunch. The food had a good presentation but tasted extremely salty. The dessert was only okay. One waitress was quite hostile towards us when we simply asked how many churros came in one serving. Overall, I wouldn’t return.

We had dinner in Pete's last night have to say chicken burger was worst food i have had dry hard no flavour skinny chips got cold very quickly salad dead I have had better in Mc Donnells Menu need update and rethink I dont think we be going back

We dined here as a celebration of my nephews 21st birthday. 20 of us dined here and unfortunately we had a less than pleasant experience. Staff arguing with us over incorrect receipts as they had charged us over €80 extra in items we didn’t order/receive. One of the dishes had a hair in the dish and no apologies were offered just a new plate given over 20 minutes after. Incorrect orders received numerous times. Staff giving main courses as starters which was then left on the table while we were eating our starters. Over priced for the standard of food we recieved. Asked for rare steaks and it was well done. When questioning the €80 excess on our bills two staff members were abrupt and argumentative with us. And when we were finally able to rectify the issues with our receipt the staff member stated to another staff member they wanted to “get rid of these” right in front of me. We most definitely will not be returning and will not recommend to anyone. The owner/manager was continuously around the bar area criticising his staff but once we raised an issue he was nowhere to be found and left his staff to argue on his behalf.

If I could give less than one star I would. Where do I start? I’ll keep it as concise as possible. Food was mediocre at best, everything was extremely salty. Service was atrocious. So bad that the bottle of wine we were drinking from was removed from the table with almost a glass left, thrown into the bottle bin and replaced by a new bottle of wine we had not ordered. When we brought this to the waitress’ attention, she was completely ambivalent and just shrugged her shoulders, offering no apology. When we informed the head waiter of this, he actually took the bottle from the bottle bin (we watched all this) and actually poured the remainder into my friends glass, saying “there it is, the rest of your wine”. Then he proceeded to open the new bottle of wine and left it on the table. No apology, and charged for both bottles (even though we never ordered a new bottle). Eat here at your peril...

I went to Pete's last night with friends and it was the first time we tried pete's as we wanted to try somewhere different. Had the chicken burger which was very dry, the chicken fillets were overcooked. The salad had better days. The bruschetta was okay but not great. The best part about the meal was the ice cream as you cant go wrong making ice cream!!!! The one star is just for the friendliness of the staff and the ice cream. Have to admit Pete's have lost four customers as we won't be back. Menu needs to be reviewed as different menu on website to menu in restaurant and they crossed stuff of the menu instead of writing a new menu yet.

Dublin has so many beautiful Italian restaurants with superb food, good value and friendly attentive staff who pride themselves on their work.this place isn't one of them.avoid it

Ordered via Deliveroo, babyback ribs. The portion which cost 17.50 before delivery was at best the size of a starter. Quality was similar to prepackaged garbage you get from tesco for less than €5. Avoid avoid avoid
