Amazing food, amazing atmosphere, amazing service. Jake our server was top class. And the other servers were great too. Highly recommend this place. Will be definitely be back over and over again

This place has very quickly become my favourite restaurant, the food is the best I have had in Dublin, I have returned here for the second time and it has been consistently amazing, the staff is lovely, the guacamole is so fresh and everything tastes perfect. My favourites are the ribs and the fish tacos, the ribs literally fall apart, the meat is so well cooked. I have tried 80% of the menu between both times coming and I couldn’t recommend it enough no matter what is ordered. In terms of staff I have to highlight the host, she is so complimentary and we had a blonde waitress today who always checked on us and made sure we were taken care of. Make sure to book a table though I have a feeling this place will be busy for a very long time!!

I've tried most of the Mexican restaurants in Dublin, and I can say that Parrilla is by far the best. The facilities are very nice, the staff is top-notch, but the food really surprised me. If you want to try food with an authentic Mexican flavor and high quality, Parrilla is the place to go. I recommend it 100%. Some of my personal favourites were the pineapple with Tajin and Valentina, and the fish tacos. The guacamole was the best I’ve had outside of Mexico. The desserts were rich and flavourful and the cocktails were delicious! Everything was great value for money.

Absolutely phenomenal meal here! For those of us who remember when Wongs of Ranelagh was located here, it's great to see another fantastic restaurant taking its place. The spicy margaritas were really good and had nice strength. The Portuguese red wine paired excellently with the food we ordered too! We had tuna tostados, chips and guac and jalapeno croquettes starters. All were gorgeous! We also had grilled lamb cutlets and duck carnitas with parilla potatoes. Oh my God the flavours were amazing! Shout out to Jack and Jessy who looked after us so well. Though it appears pricey for Mexican food, you're getting exceptional food and big portions too. Thanks everyone!

Fancy authentic Mexican food!. The empanadas and the steak are delicious. Ask the waitress for the tortillas and salsa.

Parrilla was absolutely wonderful. The food is one of the place places I have dined in, in a long time in Dublin. Highly recommend. Only thing to improve is having a dedicated served by table as in this case we didn’t so you were regularly asking various waiters for water top ups etc. I think an assigned server would be better. The staff were however very helpful and professional.

They say that “third time's the charm”. However, with Parrilla it’s been a charm the 3 times I have been there. The hype is real! Just delicious food, amazing drinks and absolutely delightful service, I would recommend Parrilla to anyone looking for high level Mexican cuisine.

Great food, atmosphere, server was so attentive. Highly recommend had to share review. We ordered; Crab Tostada, Jalapeño Croquettte, Gambas - we had as starters. And for mains; Black Sole and Fish Tacos with broccoli. We also had new cocktail Frozen Paloma, which we stayed on all night.

Very nice newish Mexican addition to Ranelagh. Food and drink is a little on the pricier side and portion sizes are small but overall quality and staff attentiveness was impressive.

One of the best meal I’ve ever had! Food was top notch, authentic flavours and great portion sizes. Staff were extremely friendly & helpful - and the Margaritas were so tasty!

We had a great dining experience at Parrilla. We tried a variety of bites, including Squid, Crab Tostada, Gambas, and Focaccias, all of which were flavorful. For the mains, we opted for fish, chicken, and duck tacos, and the duck taco was my favorite♥️—perfectly cooked and full of flavor. We finished with a delicious brownie for dessert. The staff were friendly and welcoming. ⚠️Do note that reservations are required, and there is a 1.5-hour limit per table, but it's worth it for the delicious food and good service.

I have been to Parrilla a few times now, and it gets better every time. I travel a lot for work to different countries, and this has been one of my favorite restaurants I’ve tried. The food is absolutely amazing, and the staff are always so lovely and accommodating. The margaritas are also a must-try!!!

Really lovely food! Really recommend the tacos, good portion size. Wait staff are fabulous. The highlight of my meal was a non alcoholic spicy margarita, really recommend this spot for anyone who doesn’t drink but is sick to death of 0.0 beer. Highly recommend!

Visited recently for a catch up dinner with friends. It reminds us of a texmex dinner. The place is spacious, service is excellent and the food and cocktails are superb! Will be coming for more

Really enjoyed our tacos and mains! Guacamole was also excellent. The sauce with the ribs is spectacular and the carne asada is also very tasty. Duck tacos are strongly recommended.

I’ve been on Parilla celebrating my birthday with my gf and it couldn’t go wrong, the place is spotless food just great, I got a jalapeño croquette that was divine, the costumer service was beyond expectations even tho we were the last tablet, we definitely gonna come back.

Honestly the best meal we’ve had in a very long time. The staff couldn’t have been friendlier and explained the menu without us having to annoy them which was very much appreciated. The music/atmosphere was 10/10

Wonderful first experience at Parrilla! Sampled a lot of the menu and everything was good, some things were great! Most notably the ribs, steak, gambas and verdita margaritas were the stars of the show! 10/10 would recommend and will be back

Who knew I would find the world’s best Mexican food in Dublin! Food was incredible, cocktails top notch and service couldn’t be better. Was with a table of seven and we all ordered seperate things and we all absolutely loved everything. As for the drinks; this place is like a fancy cocktail bar disguised as a restaurant; the cocktails we amazing - had a few different ones and they were all incredible. The margaritas were phenomenal too! Thank you Parrilla for an unforgettable experience. Cheers.

Very friendly staff, especially Rory/Ruairi who was really helpful & friendly when we were stuck between items on the food / drink menu. Would recommend the T-Bone steak. Seasoned perfectly and very tasty. Partner said the fish tacos were also very good

Parrilla has been open for a year but, this was our first time eating there. The welcome is charming, the service is on point (thank you, Rory) and the food is amazing. The flavours of each dish are calculated and perfectly matched. The drinks menu is well thought out and not at all confusing. The music is kind of loud but matches the atmosphere at the same time. We’ll be back, soon.

By far my favourite restaurant in Dublin. The service is fantastic, every member of the team are so welcoming and Great Craic. Every item on the menu was delicious. The spicy margarita is the stuff dreams are made of. Can’t wait to return on my next trip to Dublin.

Top class! Had an amazing Valentines meal here, food and coctails were gourgeous and service by renata, was great. Couldnt fault one thing and look forward to returning many times.

We were greeted with complimentary Prosecco on arrival as we were celebrating our anniversary! All of the staff are so kind and gave us great recommendations. Such a gorgeous atmosphere and the food was even better, 10/10 no notes!!

As I said to my server, this food can probably cure erectile dysfunction! Flavoursome and whole, I've not had an experience this mesmerising with Mexican food in Ireland before. Did somebody say jalepeno butter? Yes, and send another! Already booked to visit again.

The food was absolutely delicious. We had the steak, half chicken, fish and chicken tacos. For starter the prawns were amazing. We couldn't fault anything. Would highly recommend 👌 service was excellent

A hidden gem to say the least! Really nice variety of starters that are good for sharing as well as mains and tacos. I got the jalapeño croquettes to share and the beef tacos and potato’s for main and was genuinely impressed by how succulent and flavoursome the tacos were! The drinks were also delicious and the Apple Bottom Jeans is a must try!

Second time here, well worth the visit. Food is absolutely delicious, we have tried almost everything now and some of the most notable are the half chicken, the crispy potatoes (although the portion had shrunk since our first visit, and the butter that comes with the focaccia is outstanding, would love a tub of this. Cocktails are made really well, spicy marg and whiskey sours to be specific. Service was a 10/10 and nice atmosphere and decor. EDIT 29/04/25 This was our 3rd time here. We still really enjoyed it but it wasn't our best experience. We were here for our 7th Anniversary. The food was all really good but one of my favourite things from each time I've been is the potatoes. Each time we have been, the portion drastically shrunk. The portion we received this time in comparison to our first visit was honestly laughable, shrinkflation is very real haha. You can see the portion in the back of one of the pictures, I have also added a picture of the portion on our first visit. We got the steak, chicken and chips and guac otherwise and it was all super tasty. Ordered 2 last cocktails with desert and we had finished the desert about 10 minutes after we had finished our desert. Not only that, they were way way too spicy, this was my 3rd spicy marg of this particular night and this one was undrinkable, the rest were delicious, I only every get the spicy margs in here, theyre usually very very good and balanced, this one left a really bad taste in my mouth unfortunately :( You can see all 3 different potion sized in the pictures, not sure what order theyre in though.

Group of four, we tried a selection of bites, tacos and two of the main dishes. Service was great, lots of explanations. The food was mainly good and tasty. We were given complimentary fish tacos which were great, nicely arranged with guac and a squeeze of fresh lime juice. Crab tostada's and jalapeño croquettes were also full of flavour and perfectly seasoned. The duck carnitas needed more tortillas and we're a little bland and not enough sauces. Pork ribs and lamb followed, excellent quality meat but would've loved it to have more punch. Did a great job considering it was opening week, we'll be back.

Really great menu. Loads of options on the bites section, which was great for sharing! We loved the Tuna Tostada, Carb, Jalapeños Croquetta, and Padron Peppers. We also tried all of the tacos, which were nice but not outstanding and a little on the small side. Chips were also on the small side, but loads of guacamole! Cocktails were really good, but a little slow once the restaurant got busier. The staff were all very nice, and the waitress gave some great recommendations!

We went there for a team event for 15 people, the service was very fast, the staff was helpful and friendly. The food was delicious. Go for cote de beuf, fish and aborgine tacos! Highly reccommend!

The food was fabulous, the service excellent and cocktails devine. However the music was incredibly loud and it was all techno stuff, really irritating. There is so much wonderful music which could really add to the ambiance and in keeping with the Mexican vibe. Myself and friend couldn’t hear each other. It is a restaurant, not a nightclub. We asked for it to be turned down which they did just a notch. However the food is well priced and we had a wonderful bottle of white Spanish wine, which was well priced. All in all a terrific addition to Ranelagh but just change the music.

Food here was very nice, we had duck nachos (huge), fish tacos (tasty), croquettes (solid) chicken salad (decent). Maybe a little expensive and the service was a bit erratic we were waiting 15 minutes for a coffee that never came so just gave up and asked for bill.
