Opinions de Voici Creperie and Wine Bar Dublin
I visited Voici Crêperie and tried the French toast as well as a crêpe with almonds and vanilla ice cream. Both were delicious, and what makes this place stand out is that they serve coffee and desserts until late, plus they also have a wine bar. I think that’s a brilliant business strategy, especially considering that Dublin doesn’t have many cafés open late at night. Another detail that makes a big difference is the flour they bring in directly from France, which gives the crêpes a truly distinctive flavor. On top of that, the place has a lovely vibe and cozy décor, perfect for relaxing and enjoying the experience. Overall, it’s a spot that combines quality ingredients with a smart concept, making it well worth a visit.
My girlfriend and I usually visit this place, the food is so god and the staff very friendly, it’s an amazing spot for a coffee in rathmines, this time we went just for a crepe and a coffee, when we left my girlfriend forgot her bag in the outside area we realised when we were at home so I called, shout-out to the guy staff member in the other side of the phone was so nice and helpful he instantly went outside to look for the bag and saved it for us, of course we will be back as usual highly recommended
A really nice cosy spot for a bite to eat! Finally came in here for lunch after walking past it so many times and it was utterly delicious. We got a caprese crepe (added chicken) and also shared a Belgian chocolate and coconut shavings crepe which was 10/10. The coffee in here was some of the best I've had in Rathmines also! The staff were super friendly and welcoming, will definitely be returning here to try other menu items!!
Lovely cozy place. I had a charcuterie and cheese board and a glass of wine - it was amazing. Portions were decent and it was good value for money. The atmosphere is perfect and the staff is super kind. Will definitely come back!
Excellent restaurant especially for breakfast and lunch. Great position very close to the bus stop. Very friendly stuff and cozy ambient. Regarding the cuisine, the crepes are very tasty and freshly made, offering a wide range of flavors, both savory and sweet.
Arrived for quick bite to eat just after 6pm. The day was lovely and we chose the outdoor seating option. The staff were very friendly and very efficient. The restaurant is situated over 2 floors and has a very quirky decor. The toilets are a bit small album clean and tidy. Overall our experience was great however I feel that they were a bit understaffed as our main portion plates weren't cleared and we had to constantly look around for someone to serve us more drinks water etc. Also they're using some weird system with the layments and seems to be a fuss to get an actual receipt... I will definitely be back and will recommend though.
Lovely 😍 little crêperie/wine bar in Rathmines. On both occasions, I've been there without a booking but I'd say booking at peak times would be advisable. The first time, I sat downstairs, and it was lively and bustling. The second time was full downstairs, so I was seated upstairs. Because it was just me, my friend, and a small family, it wasn't all that lively, but that is the only reason I give a 4* for atmosphere. I'd say if it was full upstairs, it would be a 5*. The staff was friendly and helpful and it was clean and fresh. As the name says, they serve crêpes, and they are gorgeous 😍 ✨️ , so many options. Loved them. Voici also is a wine bar, and they have an extensive menu for wine and food. I couldn't see a toilet downstairs.
Most of all, eating, relaxing and having small talks in this place it's an experience which I loved. So can't wait to get back!
Very nice, cozy crêperie. Food is amazing, already when you enter you smell the aroma of the Crêpes. They have a wide variety of sweet & savoury Crêpes, also croque monsieur, etc. Atmosphere is really nice,I like the style as well, they also have cozy seats upstairs. Staff super friendly, prices ok. Good position as well. I'll definitely go back to try other delicious dishes.
Stunning food, fantastic value and lovely service. Keep returning here for the gorgeous pancakes!!! Love the decor and chill but buzzing atmosphere. I'll recommend this again and again- never disappoints. Special mention to Suelen and Mai who were so patient and helpful. Came here again; beautiful food and atmosphere as always! Thank you to the wonderful Gokce who is so kind and friendly. Such a positive experience once again.
Very tasty galettes and crepes which could (almost) compete with Britanny! Love seating upstairs, where the atmosphere is very cosy.
Yummy crepes and wine. Nice place to feel the French atmosphere and to chat with friends. We ordered the Escapada white wine and was the perfect combo 🥂🙌🏼
I loved the crêpes, probably the best I've ever had,I'll be returning! I must mention that I've visited numerous crepe establishments, and the prices at this one are slightly cheaper compared to most other places The crêpes were fantastic, probably the best I've ever tasted, I will definitely come back!
An absolute gem! Have been back here a couple of times now and loved it each time. Ricky, the chef here, actually ended up cooking for my birthday a while back! The atmosphere is easygoing and I love the surroundings, particularly the vintage french posters that hang on the walls. There's a nice selection of both savoury and sweet crêpes, with a good wine list to pair with your choice. The staff are really friendly and happy to have a chat.
Amazing place. They have windows with a good view of the street and the crepes are just amazing. The savory ones are delicious and I found the sweet ones a bit basic, but they come with delicious gelato which is quite good. It's very calm and a good place to chat or get a book for a while :)
Had a friendly waiter who took photos of myself and my family. The cappucino and Belgian chocolate crepe were definitely worth the wait and reasonably priced. Would recommend for a sweet brunch!
I love this cozy restaurant. I went there twice, once in a lunch time, another was for dinner. Both were great 😊 They have 3Fe coffee, tea, sweet crêpes and savoury galettes.
Very taste crepes, highly recommend a visit. The Traditional and Caprese crepes were absolutely amazing.
Lovely gallettes. Also, not sure if they're lacking staff or they were busy upstairs, however service can be slow, if you bring a book to read as I did, you wouldn't mind, is a nice space
Very delightful place. Service was very nice and quick. Cozy cafe with good food and drinks. A must visit cafe for leisure time.
Wife ordered the crepe with chocolate and ice cream, and it was good. I had the Mocha, and it tasted good. Prices are reasonable and the ambience was good.
Beautiful coffee shop, clean, the design is really good, the crepes are really good, I took the Crepe Caramelised and I really recommend it. I'll back there for sure
The crepes tasted great and the coffee was also good. The only thing I have to criticise is the waiting time until the food arrived. But I guess that's just normal when there are a lot of people to serve.
Lovely French creperie. Service is always good and the staff are amazing. I come here alot and their coffee game is great also.
An amazing place to go with a friend! They have excellent coffee, and the service is fantastic
The best crepes ever! I really like how they are very crunchy!
Had my first visit just at the end of June gone and was thoroughly impressed. Gorgeous food, with attentive and friendly wait staff. Particular thanks to the lovely blonde waitress (I forgot to get her name!) who really made the visit- absolutely deserves a raise!
Went on Pancake Tuesday last week and it was understandably very busy. Staff were really on top of the rush while maintaining professionalism and serving great food in a timely fashion. We love it here and visit regularly. I’m a big fan of the galettes and the kids love a chocolate crepe.
The crepes were absolutely delicious, but the service was even better! The lovely girl who served us was so friendly and kind - a credit to her employers! Thank you Ella for your nice chats and for giving us so much of your time even though we could tell you were very busy. Will be returning soon!
Great place to enjoy French delicious food, the coffee is good. Possibility to enjoy Sweet or Salty Crêpes, the portion is generous. I have enjoyed my time there for a stop meet-up with one friend to catch-up. Thanks you !
The staff are very friendly, especially the girl with tattoos. I really like this place, although the upper floor is usually closed and the lower floor tends to get crowded. Crepes are tasty!
I went this place last week. I requested to go upstairs. Waitress were really nice. Nice service. I am not sure but i think i ordered Vanilla Chocolate crepes ... not that sweet highly recommended ✨❤️🤍
This is a bit of a special place. We have been there many times but this was our first time eating outdoor. Internally the atmosphere is great, with echoes of France. Outside things are less fancy as the tables are close to a bus stop and to a very busy traffic light at a crossroads. This doesn't take away from the fact that it's one of the few places in Rathmines village with tables outside. Food is very nice even if it's missing that something to wow me. One of the dips coming with the bread was super. The bread itself was nice but a bit chewy, which is not what I would expect from a proper baguette. I found the prices of food to be quite reasonable if not cheap compared to what all the other restaurants are charging. Drinks looked overpriced (see beer).
Popped in for a little coffee break and tried the chai latte and an almond croissant. The croissant was a bit dry, not the best I’ve had, I’d give it a 6.5/10. The chai was probably a 7/10 for me. My friend ordered the croque madame and rated it a solid 7.8/10 That said, I did love the vibes! it’s a cosy spot where you can read peacefully or have a good chat. Super chill atmosphere!
Beautiful small business with delicious crepes. It's not disabled people friendly, as the bathroom is upstairs with no elevator, and they are actually just for an emergency, but the staff is kind and the food quite different to the typical fish and chips in Ireland. Give it a try, you won't regret it
Cute cafe with good food! We went for brunch and had savory crepes which were delicious and more filling than you'd initially think. I paid around 15€ for a crepe and coffee which is pretty cheap for brunch in Dublin. Service was fine, it just took a bit long to get the food. Overall I'll be back to try the wines too!
Pros: A cozy nice cafe with tasty crepes + Nice staff Cons: There was a time I tasted the raw flour in my crepe + I hope one day they try to cold/freeze the bananas they use in crepes and then you would see the real magic! I tried it this way in Japan and it was amazing! Another day: Pros: Delicious Caprese with Ham
Staff friendly, spacious cosy, I prefer the sweet crepe. I will definitely go back to try the other delicious options in the menu.
Nice little option in Rathmines, we had Galettes and a glass of wine before the movies. Bit of a mix up with the tables and reservations but we were offered a complementary glass of wine each to compensate. Overall staff, food and ambience was nice. We'll come back for sure.
Cosy place for a date or a fancy catch-up with your friends. Tasty food, good menu options.
Nice and cosy. I think it's expensive for the small amount of filling they put in the crepes. Very light food. Very simple. Good service. Good views and vibe
Despite being a nice atmosphere and friendly and helpful staff, the food was disappointing. I got a croque madame that was basically a toasted sandwich, really dry. No hollandaise sauce at all and no flavour. Paid 10 euros for that :( Also got a crepe with chocolate, coconut and vanilla ice cream. Ice cream was tasty but the crepe was ok, could have more chocolate. My boyfriend got one crepe with lemon and he didn’t like it. We were expecting more. Maybe other dishes can be better, but honestly I won’t give it a second chance.
We ordered one savoury and one sweet crepe and both were good and tasty, however, I then ordered a pain au chocolat and it was stale, it was 11:30 am on a Sunday so a lot of people going out for a late breakfast or brunch, no reason for the pastries to be completely stale already. It just felt greasy and heavy, which is disappointing for a French place. The waiters never brought water to the table either. Overall, the crepe was decent but that’s it.
This place used to be 5 stars, but the quality of the service I've received lately has really dropped. Went today and there were only two servers but the place was packed. The poor staff couldn't keep up and it was around 15 minutes before anyone took my order. The staff on were not friendly at all either and there was no apology for the wait. I could see it was because they were so overwhelmed, but it was still awful service and one of them in particular just came across as rude. The food is still banging, but there needs to be more staff / better staff for this place to maintain its quality.
Got flat prseocco for 8 euro each. We asked to have a table upstairs but staff said there is a booking but no one showed up. Totally disappointed and will never visit again.
Been going for years to this place, but have received a horrible service today. Asked for an oat late, a nutela crep and a sparkling water. Nutela crep and sparkling water came and I am waiting for the coffee to be brought as well. And waiting I was. Being a very busy day, I did not want to push them to ask them where is my coffee. 20 minutes later I'm asked if I need anything else, am telling them I've been waiting for my coffee for the last 20 minutes. My crepe had gotten cold while waiting for the coffee and I've them to bring me a new one. They appologised, brought me the coffee and told me I'll have to wait other 30 minutes for the crepe, because of how busy they were. I've apologised, stood up and left at this stage.
Unfortunately cant give less then one star.I gave this place a second chance and started going often because the coffee is good and the staff are mostly friendly. But yesterday I went for breakfast and ordered something called "le petiti poulet"€13.75. To start with, the menu describes it as "Irish chicken breast" which makes you imagine a piece of real chicken breast. But in practice they serve that crepe with brie cheese/sun dried tomato/roket and some pale, pasty white strips (absolutely disgusting) that they dare to call it "Irish chicken fillet". But in reality it is chicken of the same quality as Musgrave. Which rather than being chicken (it is chicken waste made into a batter and molded into the shape of a breast mixed with preservatives and additives). Even so, I tried to eat it but it was impossible (I was convinced I would order that dish with real chicken even if it was a small portion, but real chicken). I left it and told the staff... nobody cared. charged €13.75 + coffee. ...I FELT ROBBED. I will never return nor recommend it to anyone.....they should stop embellishing the menu with descriptions that don't match the actual product, among other things.
Sadly l have to leave a not so positive review. Ordered a savoury crepe. Cooked fresh, delicious, coffee. 3FE coffee superb. Service well where do l begin?. But,this is a big But!!!. Ordered a fresh pastry. As advertised on billboard outside. What l recieved was a rock hard almond croissant. When l spoke first to waitress. She said they were fresh."You should have asked for it to be warmed up."! Then choose to ignore me ( really warmed up hmmm ok) l finished my coffee went to pay, brought the pastry to the till. Said, again "it's not fresh" I'm not paying for it." Between two staff, one the manager. I was told l have to pay( yes for edible food! No to stale food!!!) it's organic says she!( So and?) Maybe it's the flour says she!!. Aw jaysus this is getting hilarious says l. Again told l should have asked for it to be heated. No! l have a right to eat a pastry that is cool and fresh. To which this one was not. There was a stand off. It's freshly baked this morning. I was told To which l was also told the supplier provides them Fresh. Well after back and forth and me refusing point blank to pay for something that was utterly stale and probably 2 days old. I was also told sure it's only 3 euros. The absolute gall from the smart arsed waitress. I reminded her of customer service. I also said" we can create a scene if they wished in front of customers." we can take it to the ombudsman even. Let's really go all out.!!! I again repeated l am not paying for food l can't eat. Call the garda if you want!!!. I said try put a knife through it and see how hard it is. They just looked at each other. I repeated again. Didn't budge. I asked for whoever is over the manager. It is not about the 3 euros as the waitress and manager put it. It's about enjoying a fresh food item with ones coffee . I also purchased and had a very fresh crepe. Some staff pleasant but the two l dealt with should be reminded off customer service and no l don't have to except that generations attitude either of owing them by not complaining. Is this the attitude being taught in the schools today. Overheard one went to a local Gael school. So avoid the so called fresh pastries and maybe go for the crepes, coffee and wine. Don't be afraid to stand ones ground either. I went to Lidl after in case l thought l was going mad and pastries should be rock hard! and purchased 3 croissants soft like pillows and fresh. 3 for 1:80. So l will add it was never about the 3 euros.( cheeky madam of a waitress) It's common sense, and as for customer service tough Wow!! once customer complained this morning. But then sone reviews have same problem with the service. A lot of people looking for jobs out there girls!!. Easily replaced with more cop on and polite persons. So maybe change the supplier , hard rock maybe from organic flour best joke of the year!!!!
We entered, queuing for good few minutes, waiting for a free table. The woman that was already sitting upstairs came down, walk pass us and ask to reserve the next free table downstairs (the couple from that table was just about to leave). I asked the waitress how is it possible to just walk around us and reserve the table while we are queuing (for a while, not being approached by anyone except greeted at the entrance), and we are waiting for that table!? The waitress was convincing me she did it earlier even though we clearly saw the women (rude, disrespectful women) doing it just at that moment! So clearly bad experience with no so skilled waitress, unable to manage a simple sitting area! Not a type of the place we'll be back to even try again! Shame
Awful experience this past Saturday, 11th October. Waited 45 minutes (more fool us) only to finally enquire as to where our food and a tea was only to be told it was never entered on the system. Staff never came near us during this time either and were not particularly rushed/busy. We were sitting right by the main window so we werehard to miss with our empty table. The solution from the same waitress who took our order - a complimentary coffee. We were absolutely disgusted. Needless to say, we won't try here again and I would not recommend a visit. We were simply ignored. Sadly, I can not give less than 1 star.
