The staff were such lovely individuals, I've never had a better experience in a restaurant. Food was divine and very quick to be served. Cocktails were very tasty and original. Desert wasn't too rich or sweet! Highly recommended for special occasions 🥰

Had a really enjoyable dinner here recently. From the moment you arrive, the experience stands out — the entrance and outdoor seating area are beautiful, with plants and trees throughout and a nicely lit, welcoming atmosphere. The food was excellent from start to finish. The crab starter was full of flavour, the steak was cooked perfectly medium rare exactly how I like it, and the Eton Mess was a great way to finish the meal. Overall, a great combination of atmosphere and quality food, making it a very memorable dining experience. Highly recommended.

I officiated a wedding here recently. The set up was lovely and the staff were great. Looking forward to being back here soon. Highly recommend

We had our wedding here on Aug 6th and it was absolutely perfect. Special mention to Matt who planned the wedding with us on the lead up to the day itself, he was brilliant and made the whole process easy and enjoyable. Also massive thanks to Rado who was the manager on the day and was amazing. All the staff on the day were fantastic. Thanks for being such an important part of our wedding day, we wish we could do it all over again!

I had my wedding here in September 2024 and this is the easiest 5 stars to give. Matt went above and beyond to make everything seamless and stress-free. The food was incredible - all the guests raved about it! The venue itself was beautiful and every staff member was warm, professional, and genuinely invested in making our day wonderful. I cannot recommend it enough for a wedding.

Everything from starters to dessert was delicious! Lovely ambient and overall a wonderful experience. Waitress seemed unsure about certain ingredients. It’s totally okay to say you don’t know and check with the kitchen! Otherwise, the service was great, and I’d definitely come back.

Exceptional wedding venue. We had a wonderful experience working with Matt and the talented staff at MPW for our wedding. The food was delicious, the service impeccable. Went to a wedding here recently. It was fantastic. The restaurant itself is lovely, a good size yet still feels cozy. The food was amazing too, fillet steak cooked to perfection. Overall, would highly recommend for a special occasion!

Our winter fairytale wedding wouldn’t be possible without this venue. They made our day extremely memorable and special. We dropped them an email only few short weeks before our wedding day and they accepted the challenge and worked with us to have everything as we imagined. Good decoration Good atmosphere. Friendly staff. It's not very noisy and I think you can have a nice time if you get a table further away from the center (that was our request, but maybe due to the high number of reservations, it wasn't answered. Not an issue) We ordered drinks, Diet Coke and a Fitzers Marco Pierre Beer. it took more than 20min and from where we were sitting we could see my the ice from my Girlfriend's Diet Coke melting. Several drinks were ordered for other customers and the Coke was still there... standing there, alone, looking at us... The beer though, no sign of it. After +/- 20min they came to ask us if we wanted to order to which we replied vividly, "YES PLEASE, but we can have our drinks first". After that episode and finally enjoying the drinks (FYI we didn't even ask to add more ice for fear of taking another 20min), the Seared Scallops and Hot Sourdough Loaf arrived (they didn't bring butter for the Sourdough). Here's where tonight's ONLY problem is.... these were the smallest Seared Scallops I've ever eaten. Small, mushy and pico de gallo is extremely acidic, taking away from the rich, sweet flavor that scallops should have. For main we had the Steak Frites and 12oz Ribeye Steak. TOP Well prepared and cooked to perfection. Both. Other than that, I advise you to give it a try. (We will for sure) The photo added was my GF Scallops. 2x bigger than the one I had.

Had my small wedding there, everything ran well and the staff were very helpful. All guests love the barman.

Great early bird, 2 courses for under €27. The options were fairly decent too, had the duck leg confit which was very tasty. It came served with puy lentils & roasties. The roasties were a nice addition as they balanced the soft texture of the duck leg. Big dining room but still with a classy & cosy feel. The staff are lovely & attentive. Beware though, there is only a 2 course early bird option. If you opt for an additional course you will be charged the regular menu price for that item - as we did. Our bill for two of the 2-course early bird plus additional course each & 2x coffees & coke (no wine!) came to €80.65. Overall though, a good experience and would go again.

We have eaten her 4 times pre covid and thankfully they've managed to keep the same atmosphere and quality 2 days after opening from lockdown. Friendly staff, gorgeous food, perfect portions and super atmosphere. Will continue to eat here for the foreseeable future.

I was there recently for my cousin's wedding. Very nice atmosphere, lovely food and excellent staff. Thanks again to the maitre d for the take away sticky toffee pudding! It was really appreciated.

We dined in Marco Pierre White last night for a birthday meal. The restaurant and courtyard are beautifully decorated. Piano singer was great. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed their food and drinks. Best fillet steak I have ever tasted. We were seated in the centre of the restaurant and it got very loud with two noisy tables beside us, sometimes difficult to hear each other so ask for a quiet table if this is a difficulty for you. Our server was fantastic. Will return again.

We went for the supper club menu..amazing soup of the day (leak and potato) I didn't love their Guinness brown bread though, very sweet I thought.. beetroot salad was a bit weird, not what we expected Lovely sirloin steak, the chips I thought it was just okay For desert we got crème brulé (10 out of 10, very tasty) and the chocolate tart (tasty, but I wouldn't go for it again)

Very upscale space, that seems to have an amazing outdoor seating area. It was raining so we were seated inside, and they accommodate large groups with a reseevation. Amazing food, especially the steak. The beetroot and cheese salad needed a bit more flavor. Live music playing on Fridays.

This brasserie style restaurant is ideal for a good dinner experience. The main focus is on Irish steaks and seafood placed in a beautiful setting. The restaurants reminded me of a typical french style brasserie somewhere in Paris. Saturdays they often offer live Jazz/Piano music which adds to the cool atmosphere. Outdoor seating is also available. Good choice for bigger dinner parties.

We had a really great experience. I booked a table for my dads 60th. As I was booking I let them know and they said they would arrange to put his name on the dessert with a birthday greeting which they did and he was delighted. As you walk in the entrance is just beautiful you come through a little courtyard and it it has lovely seating. The restaurant itself has lovely subdued lighting and the walls are lined with bottles of wine. Its like an old cloister converted into a restaurant. Its really quite nice. The staff were lovely and took our coats on arrival. Our waiter was friendly and had character. So the reason I chose this restaurant is because we watch all the cookery programs like master chef, MKR and Hell’s Kitchen and dad always queries Is that Marco Pierre fella actually any good and what is he rambling on about. So we went to his restaurant to critic what he considers good food. Did he meet the mark? Well obviously I didn’t give it four stars for nothing. The food was absolutely beautiful and the price was very reasonable. It was a great experience. Guess that Marco Pierre knows a thing or two after all. My mum said it was one of the best steaks she has every had cooked and seasoned to perfection. I had the duck which fell off the bone.

Far too loud last Saturday 4th Oct 2025. Pianist belting out songs. What happened to background music where you can talk and not have to shout. What disappointment. Food excellent. Won't be back too loud

Marco pierre White's in Donneybrook was a very nice experience. The sirloin steak was amazing, crab dish was fresh and well presented although it did lack seasoning. The triple cooked chips were the highlight they were amazing! The service was good but we waited more than 10 minutes for a waiter to come and take our dessert order. Atmosphere was really pleasant with nice music and piano.

The wines are really tasty, the space is really cool and the customer service fab. The food was alright, bit pricey and not as good as my expectations (but maybe I had too high as all looked amazing). But I still would recommend. Sunday lunch menu, 3 glasses of wine, 1 starter and 2 desserts was 125€. The starter was my favourite some Oxtail Croquette. The cod was average, my friend enjoyed the lamb and the dessert cheesecake was average too.

First time and I loved it, it is really nice decorated with an enveloping atmosphere. It is a place for family dinners so you need to know that is gonna be noisy with all the kids. Mushroom risotto was fab.

Superb culinary experience. Loved the food and the venue. Will definitely be back to sample eating in the outdoor courtyard. (In the summertime I suspect). Service was a little on the slow side but there was seven of us at the table and it was in the run up to Christmas. Would highly recommend.

The staff is very nice and the food came quick. The fillet steak is very well cooked and served with fries. I am only giving this place 3 stars for one reason and that is the fact that the music coming from the speakers is so loud you can’t hear the person beside you unless they were to shout. This really increases the volume of the overall noise in the restaurant. I recommend this place highly, but it would be greatly appreciated if you could have the music playing quietly in the background.

I had planned to bring my wonderful wife out for a valentines meal. The ambiance in the restaurant was lovely, the piano made for great background entertainment. My starter and main was smoked salmon and ribeye this was very nice and a good size. However my wifes starter, scallop was rother small (three small scallops) and her main, sea bass was extremely small. One small fillet, about four forks of sea bass and it was gone. For we paid you would expect two fillets. We were never asked how our meal was until we were finished. If you are paying €42.50 for ribeye you would expect the side sauce to be included with the plate. The wine was good.

Nice atmosphere. Food very ordinary. Vegetables lovely but steaks quite tough and really difficult to chew. Deserts attractive but too sweet. Service excellent. Incredibly overpriced. Staff nicely attentive. Will not be back as it is poor value for what is ordinary food but well presented.

We went to Marco Pierre whites restaurant last month for a long awaited date night, we always try to go in January or February.. we both had the same meal fillet steak, beer battered onion rings, chips and pepper sauce. I was as sick as a fog all through the night and into the morning I know it was food poisoning my husband was sick too but not like me I phoned the restaurant the next day, no apology or nothing. I was told I'd hear back from them In a few days. I didn't want to write a review as I wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt as we've eaten here on numerous occasions.. we wait 25 mins for some bread to start with and then 2mims later out came the steaks. I was very displeased with their lack of service on this incident and I won't be back and it's turned me off eating steak now which I loved. I wish they have sent an email or made a phonecall to set this right.

The food was lovely and great atmosphere at the restaurant. Their big flaw is the service. We had to flag down floor staff to get served and we were left with empty glasses for 30+ minutes while staff leisurely re set tables around us. Wanted to order more cocktails as they were delicious but decided not to as we were left waiting too long to order. For the prices I would expect better service so I am reluctant to return again.
