It’s a nice comfortable place loads of space between chairs . Service on perfect time we dont’t have to wait for long for our food . Great accomodating staff . In my opinion the food is a good portion you really get what you paid for for the food and they are allnice from salad to fish and chips especially the wings ☺️

WOW! Our 2nd visit to this place and it's amazing. Whether it's a dinner for 2 or a group of 7 (with 4 kids) the service and attention to detail was top notch! Burgers cooked perfectly and the kids all cleaned their plates!! The icing on the cake was they also serve "Wicklow Wolf" on draft. Already looking forward to our next visit.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Elephant & Castle, and I must say, the experience exceeded all expectations. The chowder I ordered was nothing short of perfection—creamy, flavorful, and comforting. Every spoonful was a delightful balance of fresh ingredients, rich textures, and just the right amount of seasoning. It’s easily one of the best I’ve had. What truly elevated the meal, though, was the exceptional service. Susy welcomed us with a warm smile and ensured we were comfortable from the moment we arrived. Teo was incredibly attentive, always making sure our glasses were full and our needs were met without ever being intrusive. Lastly, Marcos, with his charm and professionalism, added the perfect touch to the experience, making us feel like valued guests throughout the evening. It was a dining experience where both the food and service came together harmoniously, making Elephant & Castle a place I can’t wait to visit again!

I came for lunch with my friend and we heard that their chicken wings are really good. Today we tried the chicken wings and the heart of darkness. we were amazed. the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff caught my attention. They had a fast service. The flavors are great, the atmosphere is very nice. I definitely recommend this place to everyone.

Visited this restaurant in Rathmines while I was trying to go Vegan. Was terrified that I wouldn't have that many options to choose from, fortunately turned out to have the best meal ever, didn't taste bland or what I'd imagine it would, perfect combination of spices and veg. Healthy, tasty & filling. Considering the amount & quality of food it wasn't too pricey. Service was spectacular and the waiter gave us plenty of choices and asked the chef to make sure we get vegan meals. Even though it most of our meals weren't on the menu, they were patient enough with us to create something perfect. BRAVO. Tbh, tried Elephant & Castle in other locations, but I wasn't as impressed as I was with this one. Depends on the chef I guess 🤔 🤷 ⚠️⚠️PLACE WAS VISITED & PHOTOS TAKEN BEFORE COVID-19 in Ireland.

AMAZING CHICKEN WINGS! They are just the best in the world! And great professional service provided by Susy and Marcus, really made a difference for our experience! We really recommend this restaurant. It's a perfect place in Rathmines and beautiful decor! They also have a good choice for desserts, which are super delicious.

I always go here for wings Wednesday and other days , everything’s sooo delish and they handle mistakes with orders gracefully and quickly , The name of my server today was Eric and he provided great service . Honestly he was the most attentive server I’ve ever experienced in all elephants and Castles everywhere and I’ve been to almost all of them .

These are some of the best chicken wings not just in Ireland, but in the world. I've been to Buffalo NY (the home of Chicken Wings) many times and they're as good if not better than Buffalo's chicken wings. 10/10 couldn't recommend more highly. If you like chicken wings and you're in Ireland you have to go here. Erik is also fantastic.

Another fantastic evening here. The food was spot-on as always, but what really makes the difference is the service. Marcus looked after me brilliantly-attentive, warm, and genuinely welcoming. Places like this are rare, and it’s why I keep coming back.

Incredible experience! I was super well attended by the staff Dani and Marcos, who were simply excellent.The atmosphere is very pleasant and the food was delicious, but the dessert really stole the show - the best I've had in Dublin! If you're looking for a place for a special night, this is the spot.

It was my first time in the restaurant and I loved it. The food was amaaaazing! And the service? Omg Suzy is a such wonderful person that brought all of the shine to our evening! I had an amazing experience at this restaurant! The wings were absolutely incredible — perfectly cooked, crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and packed with flavor. You can really tell they put care into the quality and seasoning. Easily some of the best wings I’ve ever had! On top of the delicious food, the service made everything even better. Thais, Jessy, and Erick were all fantastic — super attentive, friendly, and welcoming from start to finish. They made sure we had everything we needed and created such a great atmosphere. This place is amazing. If you are vegan/vegetarian just go for the cauliflower wings. The waiters are another level. Susy and jey and Marcos are great examples of good staff members. The bartender is the sweet guy ever. I asked for alcohol fre and he made it. Should go forward the food and place are cozy.

Last minute booking to celebrate a birthday. The restaurant was really busy which made a good atmosphere. Service was good and quick. The wings were the highlight, really nice. Burger was okay.

Went for lunch and ordered a sandwich with aubergine. Very nice. I didn’t like the shape of the cup for the cappuccino, tall and narrow. No. The chef came out and interviewed a guy, leaving about 6 food orders waiting about 12 minutes. It’s ok I wasn’t in a hurry. Another day, lunch again I ordered a burger and traded the chips for mash. Very kind of them to let me do that. The burger was cooked to kingdom come. Made me think it was possibly left from previous night. It was soo dry. That’s the reason I deducted a star. All the staff are extremely nice.

The place is very nice and pleasant. The food portions are big. Fish a bit dry, burgers decent, tacos pretty good, huge portion of cauliflower wings, arancini not bad. The service is fast. The sink in the men's room was broken, and there was no soap in the others. On the website, it says that there was a 2 course lunch menu. On arrival, we learned that this was not available for Christmas Eve only. Sad. Also, I only just realised that they charged us a 12% service charge even though we were 4 people. On the menu, it states that this charge is for groups larger than 6 people. I prefer to make the decision to leave a tip myself.

Edit, had the French toast last week and it was absolutely lovely. Today it was burnt. Not very consistent

Service is really great and the atmosphere is lovely. They have it set up very nicely. Unfortunately the food we didn't find as nice. The wings were decent, burger was average, chips a little soggy and the salad was not very nice at all.

Our food looked good, but it didnt taste great, the waitress didnt make any eye contact and seemed like be in rush all the time.

Hi just wanted to say our meal was very tasty here however we got a very small sized ‘jug’ of sangria that was advertised as a ‘deal’ you would get 6 glasses out of however we barely got 3…and we paid 54 euro for it very disappointed in this. I should’ve expressed my disappointment at the time however I was with my sister for her birthday and didn’t want to dampen the mood.

This has always been my go to place for buffalo wings. I travel miles just to get them here than anywhere else & tell everyone how fantastic they are however today in rathmines they were awful small & bony & overcooked - warmed up id say & not anything like I've had before there. Disgusting. If id dined in i wouldve sent them back as it was i was so looking forward to them and am mad about the wing sauce that i had some but threw the rest away. And it came with one stick of celery. Id be very reluctant to revisit even in Temple Bar. Very poor show Rathmines. Extremely disappointed and feeling ripped off !

So we ordered the spicy chicken wings which was good as usual but the kids pasta was absolutely distasteful. There was no chicken in the chicken and broccoli mac and cheese and then after we let them know they just gave a bowl of chicken which was just scrapes of chicken, so dry, so rough and absolutely horrible to eat, also the pasta was way more undercooked. I love their wings but for the first time it was a very bad experience with the kids food and they even charged us the whole amount, absolutely disgusting experience!

The Chicken wings were luke warm and literally no sauce. No vinegar in the sauce anymore. ☹️ Chips were reheated and tough. Elderflower drink changed to different tasting syrup. Water had no fizz abd was room temperature. Come on were's the quality control and continuity for what used to be well loved institution. Front of house were great though.
