Delicious food at the Green Man last Sat, a really interesting & varied menu & tempting tasty wines by the glass, excellent value all round. And so glad to have choices of (generous) small plates so as to eat as much or little as we wanted! Keep it up Dan & all the friendly, helpful staff!!

Fantastic shop and also a superb restaurant. What a combo! knowledgeable and friendly staff make for a lovely atmosphere.

Attended a private family function. Food, drinks & atmosphere was fantastic. Bryce was such a fantastic host. It was my first time at Green Man Wines & i will definitely be recommending it to family & friends.

Excellent! Very well managed shop with an enormous variety of wines. Thoroughly professional staff and the gentleman who served me could not have been more helpful. I took home a superb bottle of Beaujolais which we drank during the evening. I am already looking forward to returning to Green Man Wines very soon.

Now, we were there and we didn't have any wine, which is a sin. A huge selection of wines. We had some of their food and we loved it. Friendly, romantic and nice food.

Beautiful place. Lovely cosy shop and restaurant. Staff have always been polite and the upmost professionals whenever I have gone in. From a bottle of wine to drink at home to the perfect bottle as a gift for a special occasion, they have never gone wrong with their advice to me.

Green Man is a precious pearl in our neighborhood in Terenure. It's a small local shop with a huge selection of wines. It's one of those rare places where you can feel equally comfortable being in sports gear at the end of a walk or quite dressed up. Their food selection is super interesting and always very tasty. The interior is charming. I can imagine it being the perfect venue for all the themed tasting nights that they organize. The personnel is always kind, friendly & knowledgeable. Perfection is when there's good weather and one can enjoy their products sitting outdoor. Maybe around a wooden barrel.

One of my favourite wine bars going. I've been here three times. The food is innovative and tasty. Service warm and friendly. Really nice ambience, very relaxing. Definitely worth a venture to Terenure for!

We’ve been here several times and it has been an amazing experience each time. Great atmosphere and the food is stunning. They have a sharing-style menu with lots of small plates, good for a group of friends.

Delightful evening. Cozy environment, lots of wood makes it for a warm setup. Great wine selection and guidance in choosing the best. I was skeptical about the short food menu but it turned out to be awesome. Tasty and quite varied. Recommended

Fantastic Wine Shop with tables for dining. We asked David to recommend some wines and he picked some terrific reds. I enjoyed my cheese and charcuterie platter. I think this is a new favorite of mine

We had tapas here and it was amazing. Super wines, great service. Quite a buzz atmosphere. I would highly recommend this restaurant. The only thing I didn't like was the wine glasses and if I had been drinking red wine it would have been worse. They are too small. You'll know when you go. Otherwise this place is heaven.

Lovely spot for a few drinks and really atmospheric. I love that you can have wine off the shelf and pay a corkage fee!

Amazing wine bar with excellent service and brilliant atmosphere. The food is also excellent, but portions are rather small for the price.

Me and my friends went in on Saturday for a meal. I reserved table by sending an e-mail and I was advised that our table was going to be available for 2hrs only. We went in, warmly welcomed. Had great food, chicken liver pafrait with chutney(plum?) was outstanding. When our time to leave was almost up we asked if we could stay and our waiter made it possible. We stayed there until closing. Wine was superb but the best thing was customer service. Lovely, young Australian (I wish I had remembered his name) man was looking after us very well. He was always around, very chatty, very open for our suggestions of wine we wanted to try, he really wanted to make sure we get the wine we want. We got to chat to him a little at the end and he was just so lovely! We are definetely going to be back soon!

Wow! Food was 5 🌟. Honestly one of the most enjoyable nights out. The wine was amazing. Staff are so lovely. Will definitely return.

We went on a Friday night grandparents, parent & adult children. We tried all the plates ( all lovely but highlights included the trout rillettes, croqettes, panzana) & had an excellent Rioja. ( Gabaxo). Great atmosphere, food,wine & service. Highly recommend.

LOVE this place! Green Man Wines is my absolute favorite restaurant in Dublin. This unique venue has the perfect combination of friendly, interested and knowledgeable staff, amazing food and the right wines. Time flies here and it has happened on multiple occasions that we have stayed far longer than expected due to the fantastic atmosphere. I would recommend to start out with ‘Bread & Glenilen Butter’ and the ‘Gambas Pil Pil’ to eat and the Bisol Belstar Prosecco to drink and thereafter see where it takes you. Already looking forward to next time!

By far one of the best wine shops in Dublin. The staff's knowledge of the wines on offer is excellent. The food is also amazing a must visit for any food and wine lovers.

Our favourite wine shop/restaurant. We pop in frequently for a quick prosecco at the end of a busy week, even with the kids in tow. We buy most of our wine there and, whenever we can, sit down to a fabulous supper. The food is amazing. Have tried a few of the wine tastings and they are brilliant; wish we could get out for them more often. The staff is friendly, helpful, extremely knowledgable. Free wifi is a bonus as the kids can enjoy a little show on their ipads while we relax. Honestly, just a joy to keep going back to.

Went on Friday night for wine and tapas. Service was excellent, very knowledgeable. Had some great wines and great tapas. Took home three bottles of wine too!

Great wine selection. Food was excellent. Overall experience was unfortunately soured by our unpleasant waitress. Most staff were extremely polite, to be clear, but the pretentiousness of our waitress made our evening far less pleasant than you would expect from the price you pay.

Amazing atmosphere. Great customer service. Ideal for couples. 30 euros for the bottle of wine and 20€ a meat and cheese board, the board could be a bit bigger, but really good quality. 🙂

This is a very pleasant neighbourhood wine bar which I visited for the first time tonight with my family . Food is excellent and creative . Service excellent also. Until you come to pay. There was a “corkage” charge on each bottle of wine we consumed of 15 euros per bottle. Asking about this unusual charge at the till produced impatience and what can only be described as derision . “It’s normal “ was the reply , how “many times do you actually eat out “was the question asked. Many times is the answer. After a rather rough verbal engagement the charges for corkage ( in a restaurant wine bar ) were removed but it was done with bad grace , by a very unpleasant manager. Awful pity. A nice place that could have become a family favourite has presented itself as a rip - off. A feeling that cannot be repaired. I m very happy to pay the price in any restaurant and we eat out a lot , but this establishment appears to be a catering crew operating in a wine bar that needs to charge corkage to the owner on any of his wines they sell as part of their operational agreement . Maybe I'm wrong about this? It’s a bit much lads .

Nowhere on their Instagram or Google maps profile does it list that tasting is only available on the weekends. On our last day in Dublin my family and I walked all the from the river to here, only to find this out. Truly disappointing, and I hope they learn how to properly advertise their offerings.
