This is one of our new go-to places, absolutely excellent from start to finish. The host was excellent, so friendly and helpful. The atmosphere inside is perfect with comfy seating and relaxing decor, and the little courtyard in the back is perfect on a summers day. Then of course there is the food. Yet to have a dish that wasn't absolutely delicious. The set lunch menu is probably the best value meal you will get in Dublin at the moment.
What a gem! We went on a Friday night and had a 3 course dinner with wine for just over 60 per person, so price/value is brilliant. The staff was extremely nice, and the food is very special and unlike what you'll find in other place. I'll definitely back for the neighborhood menu! Highly recommend this place.
I’d never known about this restaurant until we went here last week. It’s incredible. The food is unreal and the staff were very friendly and down to earth. Definitely would recommend and will be heading back. Lovely spot and a great size so they can handle larger bookings if you need them.
An amazing experience. The food is so so good. The staff are brilliant. Please support this local neighborhood restaurant. Thanks for such an amazing night.
We live around the corner and forgot how incredible the food and service is. Every bite was an 11/10. We'll be regulars from now on and can't wait to try the Sunday roast. Thanks for an amazing evening!
First rate. Really enjoyed our evening. The service and the food were top notch and I was reassured by the safety measures in place. The brown treacle bread was a great introduction to what lay ahead it, it tasted amazing. We went for the neighborhood menu, the roasted gnocchi was fantastic. I'm not much of a wine drinker and there seemed like plenty of choice but I went with a Kir Royal and Raspberry Bellini, which were good. Overall just really enjoyed and hope to return again soon to try the rest of the menu. I've only one photo of the dessert as the bread, starter and main were devoured quickly. Recommended.
This is a really special restaurant, amazing food, great service and a convenient location, easily accessible by bus. The neighborhood menu is composed of fresh seasonal produce and is very reasonably priced for a 3 course meal. I can highly recommend this restaurant, my experience here has been one of the best dining experiences I've had
Craft Restaurant is a neighbourhood gem! It had been many years since I last ate in the restaurant, it’s tucked away in Harold’s Cross and often slips my mind that it’s there. I recently went for lunch on a Sunday and was not disappointed! The quality of food and creativity in the dishes was incredible, and the wine list was extensive, especially the choice of wine by the glass, which is not always the case in some restaurants. Given constant rising current costs in the industry, I found the value for money very good. Most notably, the service was attentive, warm and friendly, their front of house team are great. There was a thoughtful gesture for a birthday in the group as well. Thank you all for a lovely meal, I’ll be back to try more soon, their various menu offerings during the week seem to offer great value, next on the list to try. A restaurant not to be missed!
We’ve been twice and absolutely loved it. The chef’s menu is a great way to share and sample a variety of beautifully prepared dishes—standouts were the lamb ragù pasta and the elderflower panna cotta, but everything was top notch. Portions are generous, the atmosphere is warm and relaxed, and Justina was incredibly kind and helpful with our booking and throughout the evening (although all staff are kind and friendly). Highly recommend!
Really enjoyed our meal in Craft. We started by sharing the marinated olives, smoked almonds, ham hock croquettes and the brown bread, all perfect for sharing and full of flavour. For mains we had the beef ragu and two Sunday roasts and everything was excellent. Lovely relaxed atmosphere and great food. Will definitely be back.
On a miserable wet night it was a relief to arrive in the modern but cosy Craft restaurant. From the warm and professional way we were greeted we knew we had chosen well. And the food and service more than lived up to the welcome. Everything was delicious but a special mention of the gnocchi main course. A beautiful medley of vegetables, mushrooms, seeds and gnocchi. This was the highlight for me. Give it a go.
This scenic neighborhood restaurant is the place you go to meet up with friends and family to have a fantastic dinner in a laid back atmosphere. Definitely check out the appetizers as they are all super delicious and kick off what’s to come. 3 course menu is the best choice as you will get a taste of what the kitchen is capable of doing - top notch ingredients served in a appealing manner. The wine list offers a great selection of old world wines at a fair price point. Excellent service that will ensure you have a fantastic evening with your loved ones. We will be back for sure.
Live in the area and have been meaning to try this place for ages. The entire experience was amazing. The decor and lightning was fantastic and I was lucky enough to have a small view of the kitchen! Wine and Prosecco great, Arancini and Sourdough fantastic. My partner got the pumpkin soup, which was amazing. Great dish for the cold day that it was. Pork starter was really unique and interesting. Could not get enough of the beer pickled onions and the crispy potato slices on top. Almost like home made crispy potato chips. Venison loin and sausage, really well cooked and that creamy cabbage, probably the best cabbage/vegetable side I’ve ever had. So perfectly seasoned and creamy. Steak also magnificent. Finished with the Chocolate Cheesecake. Was also fantastic. From start to finish, the staff were so friendly and welcoming. I didn’t catch their names but the gentleman and lady serving us were both great. Great ambience, fantastic high quality food and good value for the money. Will absolutely be coming back! Would recommend for anyone thinking of trying it! Great gem in Harold’s Cross!
We had the Chef’s Menu at Craft and it was absolutely outstanding – incredible value at €39 for the quality and amount of food. You get to taste everything, and honestly, we couldn’t pick a favourite starter because they were all so good. We had the pork chop main - so good and as always the roast potatoes were unreal! From the brown bread right through to dessert, every dish was delicious. We’re so lucky to have this place in Harold’s Cross – can’t recommend it enough! The service deserves a mention too - really lovely atmosphere. Well done to all at Craft. We will be back soon.
I ordered from the neighbourhood menu and had the pumpkin starter and fish of the day, which was cod. The flavours are absolutely unreal, presentation was outstanding, and portions are very filling. I wish I had more room for dessert but will have to try the next time I visit. Will be booking again soon for Christmas. Service was beyond my expectations, staff are so friendly and welcoming. Very similar feel to Bloom in Ballsbridge. Highly recommend!
Very nice and flavourful food, deserts felt low in sugar and full of natural tastes. Amazing service and good value.
Delightful little contemporary Irish restaurant. Passionate staff who care about the food, great service. Tasty food, well constructed and presented.
Lovely menu options with locally sourced ingredients and the staff were a pleasure to deal with.
Seriously good food. Great service, good vibe and atmosphere, and all in all as food fine dining you'll find in Dublin. I'd you're nearby, book a table and enjoy a lovely evening!
Best dish was the lamb belly main which was amazing. The prawn and white asparagus starter was also spot on.
Delicious food and excellent service! Will definitely come back!
Very good food. Service was friendly and prompt. Early bird was excellent value. Great neighborhood restaurant
Excellent food wine and service. Each dish was a delight starting with the warm homemade bread. 5 stars from me
Delicious dishes in a cozy and for once not excessively loud location. Appreciated the variety in terms of wines available as well as the dishes selection. Staff is very friendly and welcoming too, so definitely recommended
Excellent restaurant. Great service and food. The menu is limited but everything was delicious.
We had an early bird and it was a great success for us. Philip runs a great kitchen,
Fantastic restaurant in Harold's Cross. My birthday brunch was delicious and the staff were very friendly too. Can't wait to go back!
The atmosphere was lovely and relaxed, the staff very welcoming and professional and the food exquisite! The flavours were absolutely perfect and sophisticated but still simple enough. Perfection!
I’m not one to write a review but I’ve just left the restaurant and I’m already sad that the experience is over. I can’t explain how amazing that meal was. 10/10. Speechless…
Still fantastic. Considering the challenges these days of putting high quality dishes on the table, Craft does a brilliant job consistently. Lovely service and superb food.
We booked our table at the last minute, from start to finish we had an exceptional experience. The food was so fresh the flavour combinations were 10/10 and the steak was cooked to perfection. My husband makes a mean roastie but he conceded that theirs could be a good contender. The service was also just right. We will definitely be back.
Delicious food, great service. Very impressed. Will be back
Fantastic value on the early bird menu, staff were all so lovely and attentive! Fantastic well cooked and presented good and great wine list with some nice cocktails too! Will definitely be back
The food was exquisite, the service was warm and very attentive, the wine list had some interesting options, and our waiter helped us with very good recommendations. The menu is seasonal, based on Irish produce, and the presentation was excellent. We had the two course menu. I had the foie gras and hen terrine as starter and the hake as main. Portions were very generous so we did not make it to desserts. The tables setup is not very comfortable. Our table was too close to the next one which made it a bit awkward at times. Also I thought the music in the background was not very in tune with the ambience.
I've been wanting to test Craft for years. Many years. Before the pandemic I think. But for some reason it never felt the right time to choose a fine looking restaurant so close to home. We finally did, together with a couple of friends . We enjoyed the dinner, quite a bit. Most of that was due to the company. I don't think it would have been the same had we gone as a couple or for solo dining. The place is warm and the lights have a great color. The menu has the right amount of options: not too restricted but also not overwhelming. The food tasted nice but not exceptional. The mini arancini were very tasty. The bread instead was mediocre. My main tasted nice but frankly too expensive for the very limited amount of meat it offered. The personnel was super friendly and we found a lovely touch that in the final bill left a handmade note in Italian to acknowledge some of us were Italian.
Had brunch, now will have to come back for dinner. Nice quality, good service.
Food quality, taste and portions 100% Short menu which makes it easier to chose! Gorgeous place. Will be back.
Really poor value, given the "sharing" prices on Main Menu items. Range of starters was really lovely but the pathetically small [shared] steak and baked cod courses made this a far less than enjoyable dining experience. We dont believe the chef was unaware of these shortcomings. NOT RECOMMENDED.
