This was the icing-on-the-cake for our Dublin visit. Amazing atmosphere and top notch cuisine. Check them out, you won't be disappointed.

Great food, superior customer service from the door to the table, upscale atmosphere, beautiful property. Can't wait to eat here again!

What a beautiful Easter Sunday dinner. The ambiance of the glass enclosed balcony was perfect. We are able to overlook the fountain and people watch. The staff were wonderful and the food was amazing. I would highly recommend this restaurant. Next time I would like to sit inside to enjoy the beautiful interior as the room looked stunning. I would highly recommend booking a reservation as we had drinks in the bar afterward and saw numerous people turned away with no reservation.

My husband and I had an incredible dinner at Fire to celebrate our 28th anniversary. Huge thanks to the staff at Fire for making our evening memorable, a truly unforgettable experience. We highly recommend the Monkfish and Chicken!

Really amazing restaurant. The food and service were exquisite. The atmosphere, really great. On face the only thing I would say was not of the highest standard would be the acoustics in the main dining area. The sirloin, grilled to perfection, the lamb rack was also amazing. The cocktails on offer were of great variety and taste. Loved everything about this experience.

For our final dinner in Dublin, we headed to the acclaimed FIRE Steakhouse & Bar, located inside the historic Lord Mayor’s Supper Room. It was the perfect setting to cap off our Ireland journey — grand, warm, and full of character. The menu was a curated FIRE Experience — and I went all in. My picks: • Starter: Wood-fired tiger prawns stuffed with chorizo & crayfish, roasted in garlic butter — rich and flavourful • Main: Rib-eye steak (10oz / 283g), cooked to perfection, paired with peppered cream and crispy Pont Neuf chips • Dessert: White chocolate & raspberry cheesecake on a graham cracker base — sweet, smooth, and indulgent We also had a refreshing lemon & thyme sorbet between courses — a nice touch. The food was excellent, the wine flowed freely, and the company? Even better. Let’s just say — by the end of the night, a few of us were feeling a little extra cheerful. Good food, good wine, good fun — the best kind of send-off.

The place is firstly, stunning to look at: a modern and elegant interior of a very finely crafted building -- the eyes start to feast long before the food arrives. The food itself is a sumptuous affair that exceeds the capability of what my descriptive ability (and prowess with a camera) can recount. The staff were lovely and personable and elevated the entire experience: specifically Thiago and Rodrigo who were the ones primarily seeing to us. At the price it is, is is certainly a treat for most of us, but it is a treat well worth savouring. Well done throughout!

This is such a beautiful restaurant. The interior decoration is grand and magnificent Elegant and inviting outdoors. There are also large lawns and fountain. Enter the existing bar seating and waiting area can have some pre-dinner drinks. Beef and lamb taste great. We two families shared a lot of delicious food together. Have a pleasant and cozy night. Professional and enthusiastic service. And very, very handsome.

We had a drink at the bar of this restaurant as we waited for our table, which overlooked a pretty fountain. The food was delicious, and the staff were friendly and attentive. Came here for a birthday, and they brought out a little slice with a candle. You have to appreciate a restaurant that does this kind of little extra, to make their customers happy.

What a memorable night! So many great things to say about this place but right off the bad, I’d highly recommend coming here. Our waiter was great and offered us some great dishes to choose from. The vibe is spectacular inside and really makes it feel like an experience. The oysters were delicious and the steak was so juicy. I’d come here for a special occasion since prices are on the higher end but it’s worth it. The cocktails were great as well but we were blown away by the food that was served!

This place is absolutely outstanding. It was a birthday dinner for my boyfriend and it definitely did not disappoint. The food from start to finish was immaculate, flavors were to die for and fab cocktails too. The service from the moment we walked in was great, as soon as we were through the door there was someone greeting us. The attention and care for their customer service was top quality, they even helped me organize a birthday dessert for him at the end. Highly recommend for a special occasion, with the price range it wouldn't suit a standard date night (for most people).

This was 5 star in every way. We sat out on the beautiful semi-enclosed balcony. The tables have crisp, white linen tablecloths. The service was impeccable. I had the Table d'Hôte, with goat cheese appetizer, 9 0z sirloin steak with peppercorn sauce and fries, and a lemon mirangue tart to finish. My wife enjoyed her Caesar salad and a French onion soup. Overall, a top-notch experience.

We decided to give FIRE on Dawson Street a try to celebrate our anniversary, and it genuinely exceeded expectations from start to finish. From the moment we arrived, the service was outstanding. A special shout-out to Chris and Tom, who looked after us brilliantly throughout the evening — attentive, professional, and genuinely welcoming without ever being intrusive. We started with the wood-fired tiger prawns and the potted crab & crayfish, both of which were exceptional. The flavours were perfectly balanced, and the quality of the seafood really stood out. For mains, we had the rib-eye steak and scallops — cooked beautifully and presented with real care. The steak was rich and full of flavour, and the scallops were perfectly seared and delicate. Dessert was the perfect finish: white chocolate and raspberry cheesecake and chocolate parfait cake, both absolutely delicious. To top it all off, the team surprised us with an additional dessert to help celebrate our anniversary, which was a thoughtful and much-appreciated touch. Overall, FIRE delivered incredible food, excellent service, and a warm, memorable experience. A fantastic choice for a special occasion — we’ll definitely be back.

On the 29th, I went to Fire to celebrate my birthday, and it was truly one of the best gastronomic experiences I’ve ever had in Dublin. The place is stunning — beautiful atmosphere, super cozy, with dishes that were not only gorgeous but absolutely delicious. And the steak was one of the best I’ve ever had! I have to highlight the service as well. We were looked after by Robert and Felipe, who were both extremely professional, attentive, and truly outstanding. We will definitely be back!!!

Lovely experience. The first thing you will notice is the lovely smell when you enter the doors. On the lower floor there is a bar area and a separate entrance for cigar smoking. All dinning is upstairs and there is an elevator if needed. The ambiance is calm and soothing. There are two dinning areas. The larger one is the main room and it is large but not too noisy. The other area was closed off for a private event. The menu is extensive and reasonably priced. Reservations are hard to get and the time you have at the table is limited.

Robert was very attentive from start to finish. Very welcoming and took my allergy very seriously can cater for anyone with a peanut allergy. We dined on the 3 course set menu. the only dish that may contain peanut was the Christmas pudding but we switched and Robert was very accommodating! The food wow!!! It beats blackhouse in Leeds so if you’re coming from Leeds to Dublin, firehouse is definitely recommended. It’s quite pricey but it is honestly worth every penny!

It’s great venue in Dublin with high service quality and great kind attention to the customers from the welcome and the finish. The food is absolutely delicious, made with delicate and the venue is an amazing experience. Highly recommending if you something special to celebrate in family or romantic. Thank you for the nicest welcome 🙏🏻

I went to Fire Dublin with my company, and we had an exceptional experience from start to finish. The service from the entire team was outstanding, and I was genuinely happy to see so many Brazilians working there, it added a warm and familiar touch that made everything even better. We were served by Bela, who delivered absolutely flawless service. She was professional, attentive, and welcoming, speaking perfect English while also helping us in Portuguese whenever needed. She truly made us feel comfortable and well taken care of. The restaurant itself is beautiful, sophisticated, and inviting, the perfect place for a special experience in Dublin, whether for business or personal occasions. I highly recommend Fire Dublin! 🔥🇮🇪🇧🇷

10/10 Experience! This is the perfect spot for a nice evening meal in Dublin, or to celebrate something special. Came here with a friend for dinner, and even the walk up to the restaurant felt luxurious. Staff were all lovely and accommodating, we were given a table in the middle of the room. The decor gives a velvety rich evening feel, with low lights making a perfect atmosphere. I had the fillet steak, with thick cut chips, and a glass of their recommended red wine. My friend had the T-bone steak and bone marrow. Despite looking small, the steak was the perfect size for me. I was sceptical to try bone marrow but it was delicious! The presentation was beautiful, and the steak was cooked perfectly. The pepper sauce was rich and delicious. Overall a perfect experience, great atmosphere and delicious food. Highly recommend!

Came for my 30th birthday and was not disappointed. Wonderful food in a lovely setting, with staff that were a great level of attentive. I have no notes, everything was perfect. Thank you!

There’s an air of elegance before you even walk into the restaurant’s courtyard as you can tell it’s part of history. Walking in right after opening, my wife and I were greeted with care and taken to our table after a short wait in the lounge. We were asked if we had been there before and if there were any special occasions. We said no, and yes, we had gotten married a few days before. The host sat us and the initial waitress took our orders and made some suggestions, though didn’t have the best answer for a bourbon drink when I put her on the spot. No worries. We had a lovely meal and the food was perfect. Not thinking anything of it, they also surprised us with a congratulations dessert plate. The ambiance of the restaurant was amazing and the music paired well. It was rather hot inside, but to be expected when it’s not air conditioned. Would definitely recommend.

Great steak and excellent side fishes. For steak lovers highly recommended. Overall 4.4 Tip: bread should be more fluffy and not dense, butter could be made more special (herbs or lighter). Bring picky here ;).

We had a three-course meal and absolutely loved every dish—10 out of 10! The steak was perfectly cooked, everything was delicious, and the service was great. The environment was lovely too. Although our table was in a bit of an awkward spot near the walkway, it was understandable since we didn’t have a booking. Overall, a fantastic experience!

The food was good.. but MARCO AND HIS TEAM on 31 OCT 2025 made the experience 5 stars l. Very attentive, very personable, very enjoyable. I will be back again because of marco and the service his team provided on terrace.

🔥 🔥 🔥 Set within the historic Mansion House on Dawson Street an opulent scene with vaulted ceilings, stunning stained glass, and that iconic terrace overlooking the Lord Mayor’s Garden. If you’re after elegant atmosphere, flawless service, and mouthwatering food, FIRE Steakhouse & Bar is where Dublin , rises to the occasion. This place wows from the moment you walk in once the Lord Mayor’s “Supper Room,” the space now dazzles with its soaring 19th-century architecture and artful lighting . I had the sirloin steak which was one of the best rare steaks I have ever had, it was excellent. The goats cheese starter and prawns were also 🔥. The front-of-house crew deliver a seamless blend of warmth and professionalism.

This place is absolutely stunning—beautiful and elegant in every way. The service and staff were exceptional, making me feel truly welcomed and taken care of. The wait times were reasonable, and the food was absolutely delicious. To top it off, they surprised us with a special detail for our anniversary, which was a lovely and much-appreciated gesture. Highly recommended!

I cannot express how amazing our time here was! My fiancee and I came here tonight for our anniversary and we were met with with amazing hosts, wait staff even the other guests were amazing. The incredible food was just the tip of the iceberg! I wish I had gotten the names of all of the staff who looked after us today as there were many. The view from the terrace on an autumn day is amazing! I loved to look out and see the autumn leaves around the fountain amongst the gorgeous trees. We were gifted an anniversary plate with a beautiful coffee cake taster as well as being greeted a "happy anniversary ' from the team on the way out. I cannot fault the team here at FIRE and we will certainly be back! Thank you for making our day so special xx

Great food and amazing atmosphere. The staff was awesome and they were all so diligent. The price was excellent for the service and quality of food served. We got a 3 course meal, and all 4 of the meals we got were the best we've had in Dublin.

Visited today with wife and daughter and from the off it was unreal. Coats and shopping bags all taken care of and into a fabulous dining room. Prawn and chorizo starter followed by steak for two, sirloin and fillet cooked to perfection topped off with a raspberry cheesecake almost washed down with a nice bottle of rioja . It wasn't cheap at €355 ,but I have to say it was worth every euro. Service top notch. I will definitely return

I had a very pleasant experience at Fire Restaurant. The food was good, well prepared, and full of flavor. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, and the staff were friendly and attentive. Overall, a great place to enjoy a nice meal. I would definitely come back.

Could not praise Fire highly enough. The food was stunning and beautifully presented. Kleber looked after us all night and nothing was too much trouble for him, including recognizing our needs before we realized them ourselves, and joining in, in our fun. The decor is a wonderful mix of period Dublin, meets modern design. The dining is spacious and the staff could not be faulted. A truly wonderful evening. Thank you

Outstanding meal at FIRE Steakhouse & Bar. The food was top tier from start to finish — I had the prawns to start and the filet steak for the main, and both were exceptional. The prawns were perfectly cooked and full of flavor, and the filet was tender, juicy, and done exactly right. Service was polished and professional without feeling stuffy. The place clearly draws a crowd of business travelers and serious food lovers, so I’d definitely recommend booking ahead. Easily one of the best steakhouse experiences in Dublin. I’ll be back.

From the very beginning, the service was nothing short of exceptional. From drinks in the downstairs bar to being escorted upstairs, the entire experience was seamless and impressive. Lupita, in particular, was outstanding — truly next-level service. She ensured we wanted for nothing, keeping drinks topped up without us ever needing to ask, and went above and beyond to look after the entire table, which was hugely appreciated. Her rapport with the table was exceptional, especially noticeable as we were celebrating a birthday. Without any prompting, a dessert arrived for us, allowing us to celebrate in absolute style. A 10,000/10 experience — I’d go every day if I could… or afford it!

The atmosphere and staff were grand. Lovely reception hall. The list of wine is enormous, lot of options, and I chose one that was amazing. The good was good, we had 3 courses each one, some were better than other, but overall a good restaurant. Quite expensive, however the location and service fits with it.

We went to Fire restaurant to celebrate a birthday. We sat on the beautiful terrace and had a wonderful view over the fountain. We ordered a main and a dessert. Our mains were the sirloin steak and the spinach tortellini. Both were extremely tasty. The spinach tortellini was especially good as we have eaten in other steakhouses in Dublin and the vegetarian options were definitely far below par. For dessert, we got the chocolate mousse. Which was fabulous. As we were celebrating a birthday, our server also brought out a little birthday cake with a candle in it. We thought this was very cute. One thing we do think is worth mentioning is that it took around an hour for our mains to come out. However the restaurant did compensate us by providing dessert on the house. However maybe consider this if you are in a hurry and looking for a quick meal. Overall, we really enjoyed our meal at Fire and will definitely be going back in the future :)

Beautiful experience and the food was very good. The people were also very friendly but we did wait for almost an hour for the main course after they picked our starters. Nevertheless, still highly recommended

I found the waiter to be quite abrupt. The food was really nice although I would suggest a bread basket for the table instead of a half piece of bread each. The dessert was incredible. Wasn’t as loud as I expected it to be in there which was good. It was a very nice touch to get a little plate for my birthday. Overall it was a very pleasant experience

P
Palle Dinesen

The best rib eye I've had in years. Perfectly cooked to my specification. On the food side of things, the only minutes were the pont Neuf fries, which were honestly quite disappointing. The place is really nice and the service excellent. Would definitely go back anytime

P
Pam Flynn

Lovely setting and atmosphere. Steak perfectly cooked, however chips were over cook, we told the waitress when she asked how the meal was and she said she would pass the feedback on. For 60euro for a main I feel some veg/salad should be included, and chips shouldn't be over done. Service wasn't great, had to try get numerous waiters attention to order another drink. The table was also wobbly that a waiter tried to fix and we ended up having to resolve ourselves. Enjoyed the evening however for the price and service on the night wouldn't return

D

We went to celebrate my boyfriend's birthday. To my surprise they didn't ask to hang out the coats when we arrived. The reception staff was so kind, the waitress was a little bit less helpful. The food was very good but the price is definitely overpriced. You're paying because of the place and the winnings of it. At the end of the meal, they brought us a very beautiful birthday plate with our dessert. But as a very high rated place I expect maybe a glass of something as complimentary. The wine was nice. It was a nice experience but definitely overrated.

We booked Fire for a large family group dinner for new years eve . With 3 coeliac ( 2 children) and 1 nut allergy. Staff unfortunately we're not very knowledgeable on allergy management only communicating that cross contamination was possibly even though I'd called twice In regards to our allergies and advised it was not a problem and we'd would all be catered for . Unfortunately they do not have a seperate fryer and food prep area for coeliac which is very disappointing, our daughters couldn't have chips our goujouns, no coeliac bun for bugers . This is the case we come across frequently where restaurants don't cater properly for coeliac disease especially coeliac children . We couldn't take the risk as our children would be sick for days. Very disappointing for a well established restaurant. I was very cautious with my food selection as a coeliac too would have loved steak and chips but avoided due to risks and not feeling reassured by food preprecations . It was a lovely place everyone else enjoyed their meal but as a coeliac family we wont be returning .

I visited this restaurant yesterday for a dinner with my friend and, while the atmosphere was pleasant, the overall experience didn’t live up to the price point. We spent about €330 for two people (starters, mains, dessert, prosecco and cocktails), but the quality fell short of expectations. The biggest disappointment was the cocktails. For a restaurant of this level, I was genuinely shocked at how poor they were. Both the Sponsor Martini and a whisky-sour-style drink were almost undrinkable, and we had to leave them after just a sip. The Crab & Fish pâté starter was far too salty, and my Ribeye was bland and lacked flavor. To make it worse, there was no salt or pepper on the table, and service was too slow for us to request any. The dessert was fine, but overall, considering the high price and the reputation of the restaurant, I expected much better. The cocktails and the poorly seasoned steak were especially disappointing, making the experience not worth the cost.

M
Michael Shaw

Great venue, terrible food, We brought my mother-in-law here for a 3 course meal. 7 adults, 3 courses, 2 bottles of wine. €900. Starters were only fine only the lamb skewers were good, the tiger prawns were… prawns. Nothing tiger about them. Below average at best. Mains of steak. One of the toughest ribeyes I’ve had (for a 12.50 supplement on a 69 per person price). You’d cook better at home. Salted caramel desert, could taste the salt, couldn’t taste the caramel. Outrageous, wine was ok, only ok, expensive for what it was. Exceptionally disappointing. Probably up there with the worst restaurant I had eaten at in Dublin.

J
Jason Doyle

Overrated. €60 for a steak and not even a bit of veg or garnish with it. Chips were overcooked and too crispy, and the sauce had a slimey layer on top after being left sitting under a heat lamp. The steak itself was nice and cooked perfectly but it lacked seasoning, and for the price you'd expect a lot better. It's a lovely restaurant, decorated nicely with a good ambience. But I pay for nice food not nice atmosphere. Wouldn't recommend it
