Very good Japanese food with HK dishes also available. The curry chicken special was very good a little on the spicier side so be aware. Highly recommended. Must try.
We visit this restaurant regularly for the ramen because it's the best in town! We also love their HK-style café menu, which features baked pork chop with tomato sauce over rice, chicken wings, and my favorite, Ovaltine French toast! I highly recommend this restaurant!
Their Hong Kong style foods are great and the peanut butter French toast dessert is surprisingly the best among bay area and even better than those I had at Hong Kong. Mike tea and lemon tea are high quality and even better if they were made by the owner team (special formula?). For Japanese food, the black garlic ramen and curry pork chop rice are my top choices. Be aware that they enforce a fixated 16% survice charge.
Delicious Ramen | Super Nice staff | Quick Service | Great Price We ordered Spicy Ramen & Black Garlic Ramen - both were delicious, perfect temperature, smooth consistency, and well-cooked! The staff was also super courteous, attentive, quick, and answered all our questions. All this at a great price! This is one of our go-to places for ramen in the East Bay now. Also, we wanted to try their desserts (at just $3.50!) but unfortunately, they were out.
And Hong Kong cafe with Japanese food?? Awesome! The Hong Kong stuff is all great! Curry fish ball is a must. French toast with Ovaltine is so good. It's a cute place and the staff is great.
Five stars is not even enough to rate. Period. Their food are amazingly awesome. I highly recommend dining in instead. Their chefs are a real deal. Their ingredients are specifically picked and hand-made in their kitchen. Don't punch me for releasing one of your sercert menu items. 😋 It is called 'Chocolate powder' French toast in Hong Kong style' it is a long name btw, but it will give you OMFG surprise. It could be a limited menu item. Make sure to call in to check and/or reserve. I will definitely try everything there.
The broth is always the difference maker for me and this place has really good tonkatsu broth. It’s rich, creamy and thick. The meat is okay but the broth is one of the best I’ve had in the Bay Area. The karage is also very good.
Great ramen shop. I absolutely love Fujirama ramen shop in Dublin, California! Their ramen is super tasty, and we highly recommend trying the thin noodles. Wonderful and crispy chicken karaage. Their sauce is the boss! It's our go-to spot for delicious ramen in town. 😊🍜
Excellent food. Great options of ramen and Hong Kong dishes. Really enjoyed the baked chicken and agedashi tofu. Excellent service! The owner Alan pays great attention to everyone.
I ordered the Fujiwara ramen. This place was so good. I had lowered expectations because of all the franchise ramen places I’ve been to. However, the broth of this ramen was exceptional. I couldn’t taste any msg or other flavor enhancers unlike many other ramen places. The broth was simple and savory. I would definitely visit again.
This has been one of the greatest dine-in experiences I've had in a while. The food was amazing. We had the aka tonkotsu, shuro tonkatsu, fried octopus, and soup dumpling. I enjoyed dipping the fried octopus into the tonkotsu broth. Great atmosphere to enjoy the company you are with and outstanding service. Thank you Fujiwara Ramen!

As someone who has had Ramen from all around the world, the Ramen served at Fujiwara is very tasty, especially for the East Bay Area. As most good Ramen shops, or most better restaurants for that matter, the menu is focused so that the quality is consistently high. This is not a con, but a choice. Some of the other Ramen chains in the area ... cough cough ... Ramen 101, are just terrible. Fujiawara restored my love of Ramen while living in the East Bay, and highly recommend checking them out. Broth tends to be heavier on the Bonnito, which I love, but be aware. Fantastic :) ... off I go to get a bowl of Shoyu!
Fantastic ramen, perhaps some of the best I've had in the bay area. The milk tea was cheap and very good! The curry was also great, a touch spicier than normal Japanese styled curries, but also a ton of depth to the flavor.

A good place for chicken karage and chicken curry. Unfortunately the ramen was a bit disappointing as it had a lot of fish smell to it even though we ordered chicken ramen, after specially asking if it was purely chicken broth. However they were glad to take back the order. However the chicken katsu curry was delicious, one of the best curries I've had in recent times. Highly recommend that menu item.
Had their ramen a long time ago, and it was pretty good. However, this review is focused on their Hong Kong cafe items. Sometime in 2024, Fujiwara introduced Hong Kong (HK) style cafe menu. Wifey loves HK food so we had to try. We went with a few Hong Kong folks. The fried chicken wings were legit and the fries were very crispy. The curry fish balls were not bad, but thought the flavor was a tad lacking. I had the baked seafood with white cream sauce and I liked it. I went again recently and tried their curry ox tongue with rice. There were a lot of tongue pieces and tender enough with still some texture for chewing. What made my meal better was the Asahi draft beer. Interesting that they offer both ramen and HK cafe food, but good enough taste for me that I would go back. Still tons of HK food items I would like to try.
I am not entirely sure why this joint has a Japanese name, because it is basically a Hong Kong cafe style restaurant with some Japanese food offerings. Maybe it is trying to distinguish itself from the other dozen Chinese joints in the same plaza. The Chinese food was great, awesome comfort food if you are from Hong Kong. I love the curry here, just the right amount of spice, rich and aromatic. Tender beef tendons. The snack dishes are just as authentic, octopus balls with the same curry, perfect chew and softness, I would love to eat those on a stick just like how they are served in the old ways. The Ramens are good, the noodles are the curly egg noodle type that I like, the base broth was OK, pretty basic bone broth, clean. The pork was great, thick and torched, full of flavor. I would come here again especially when they have week day specials.
First time to try the mazemen which is a broth-less ramen that hubby then described was like a Japanese version of pasta haha. In any case, it was delicious and I'm a fan. Definitely ordering this again next time we eat here. Our other order was a butter scallop ramen. The broth was good and very clean tasting though to my personal taste, it could've used a pinch more of salt. Also got the HK milk tea, their version of which I liked.
Good ramen where you can choose thin or thick noodle. Karaage is yummy. The tonkotsu soup 🍲 is on the light side. Not very rich. Overall they are good.
Food was great! Service nice. Negatives: - ”We only have one chicken breast left”!? Middle of the day?! So, had to order something else for the kids. - Raman 101 (Nearby in Pleasanton) has more options like Unagi on Rice. We might go back but the kids might over rule because of the above things.

The Food I've found this place, Fujiwara (Ramen) a while back, and have been meaning to try it. Finally got a chance to do so after hiking with a friend. I originally wanted to get their Kuro Tonkotsu (Black Garlic) ramen, but got their Fujiwara instead. Wanted to get the standard ramen to set a baseline, and probably come back for the Kuro Tonkotsu. The ramen comes in a bonito broth, but is tonkotsu style because it is richer. It is a good broth that is not simple bonito broth, but with added flavor. The toppings are pretty standard with cha-shu, tamago, dried nori, etc.. The noodle is the traditional, slightly thick, wavy type of ramen, it was good. We also ordered Chicken Kara-age as an appetizer. I felt the kara-age was only slightly crispy and not very crunchy, but the flavor was not bad. The Miscellaneous Fujiwara is inside a shopping plaza, on the first floor, which wasn't too hard to find. There is also a decent amount of parking available within the plaza as well. The interior of the restaurant is interesting. It has a center bar area with seating around the side. The center has a display of sake overhead. They have a good, standard selection of food and drinks on the menu. But it is not overwhelming with too much selection. The prices were reasonable. Their employees are sincere, and provide good service. I would come back and try their other selection if the chance permits. If you are seeking ramen, this is not a bad place to try.
Decent ramen .. Ingredients were good and freah but on the expensive side I don't live here so not sure but felt expensive for a 20 dollar ramen
