Opinions de Hisui Express Sushi & Ramen Dublin
This is a great ramen restaurant. Although the food is delicious, and the restaurant is well decorated, the portion sizes are small in comparison to other restaurants. That said, the staff were very helpful, and the entrance had a fridge where you could buy interesting foreign snacks, such as Japanese soda and an Indonesian bento box.
This is the best ramen we have ever had. The red dragon is actually spicy and it’s so hard to find true spicy ramen. The flavor is incredible and upon the first time having it we immediately ordered it the next day. We will be frequent customers!!
My favorite Ramen place❤️ they never disappoint and never miss. I was soooo sad that they replaced the one here In Polaris with stupid sushi… bc now I am not able to have it as often. I have to travel 25mins to the only location that’s in Dublin now. I will NEVER go and try the sushi place that replaced Fukuryu bc Ramen is my go to, I don’t fool with sushi. My friend recently had me meet her over at and treated me to what she said was the best ramen she ever had over in Delaware and I won’t mention the name. It was TERRIBLE! It was sooo bland like they had used just water instead of chicken broth. I was disappointed that I had drove the distance to meet her there. Even she was disappointed this time, says she’ll never go back. I let her know that I’ll be treating her to Fukuryu ramen the next time we meet up again. She needs to experience what good quality flavorful ramen really is. The Red Dragon is Always my go to and no matter who’s preparing it I can count on the flavor and consistency to remain the same bc the recipe doesn’t change no matter who it is! That’s what I appreciate about this place. I’m hoping you gain a new and frequent customer once I take my friend to try. Also, please consider reopening the location back in Polaris, you can’t be getting as much business at this new sushi place as you once were with the Ramen. Or at least open a new location over here somewhere.
I ordered take out order before, i got the red dragon ramen spice level 1 and it was really good. my wife and i decided to visit the location and we Dine in. we had the red dragon spice level 1 again and signature tonkotsu for my wife. we also got the chicken gyoza and chili crisp cubes. everything was so good, the service is above and beyond. Staff is so amazing, they are very welcoming and helpful. we highly recommend this place.
Amazing ramen and super friendly staff! I got their Signature Tonkotsu Ramen it was delicious! The vibes were cozy and service was fast. Definitely coming back! 10/10 🫶
I have been dining in Fukuryu for a few years now and my experience got even better when I dined there 2 days in a row after work. I was craving. The staff there were so friendly and very helpful. A lot of the staff there are Filipinos and they all served me and other customers very well. Fukuryu in Dublin is my go to when I’m craving Japanese food I also like their happy hour very much! I can’t recommend this place enough.
OMG! This place is amazing. Smells and feels like the noodle shops in Hiroshima, Okinawa, and Iwakuni. I got the Chicken Katsu Curry and I felt like I was there again. The chicken Gyoza (aka potstickers) were on point. Everything tasted fresh and amazing. As a bonus they have an entire menu of amazing matcha tea drinks. If you like rice and noodles and Japanese "fast food" then you will love Fukuryu.
Great place to dine with Family and Friends! My personal Favorite is the Red dragon Ramen, you will never go wrong with this! Plus Side of JFC chicken, Gyoza and Pork Belly Bao bun is a must have! The Staff are very friendly and accommodating! Dining at their patio is always nice when it’s sunny (or even when it’s sprinkling) Just don’t forget to order your fave ramen for an enjoyable experience 🍜
I have been in Columbus for 3 years now and I came across this ramen place about 3 months ago! The food is delicious (the Red Dragon) and the staff is friendly and welcoming! I personally want to shout out Kenny , Daniela , Blessy, and Jean! I am starting to become a regular here and they are always on it with the customer service! Will be telling all my friends and family about Fukuryu Ramen!
This was my third time to visit here and they never failed to meet my expectations. I tried yesterday the Pork Belly Bun and my all-time favorite Red Dragon Ramen, and both were amazing! The pork bun was soft and flavorful, with tender, juicy meat and just the right touch of sweetness and crunch. The Red Dragon Ramen was rich, spicy, and satisfying, packed with tasty broth, springy noodles, and perfectly cooked pork and egg. Great flavors, friendly staff, and cozy vibe. Highly recommended!
We had dinner here for the first time on a busy Friday night in bridge park. Restaurant had steady customers but definitely not super busy. We got Chicken Ramen, kimchi fries, Shoyu Ramen and Japanese curry with chicken. It is set up to order at the counter then get a buzzer or they bring it out. The food was really tasty! I loved the chicken ramen and everyone else liked their entrees. Chicken was nice and crispy. The kimchi fries were just ok- half of us really liked them and the other half said just ok. Unfortunately the service was disappointing- they brought out the chicken ramens first. Five minutes later came the curry, and then another five minutes until the last entree. I would not have minded just waiting a full 10 minutes or longer for everything to come out at once. We all tried to just wait to everyone had their food to eat, and so stuff got cold. Hard to get why the staggered meals when it really was not busy. Got a quick apology but that was it. Good place overall, I'd go back, but really had to rate lower based on service.
Who doesn't love Ramen? This was a good excursion to bridge part of Dublin. We got there before their big dinner rush, so the service was good, and the cash register operator was helpful with suggestions. The service time was reasonable. The Ramen was really good. I had their signature Tonkitsu, which was perfect for me. Wifie had the red dragon, which she liked, but I found it to be a bit spicy. We had the Japanese fried chicken as an appetizer, which was very good. The special teas were delicious. The only complaint was that the place got busy and was super crowded, so the front door was constantly open, creating a super cold restaurant. I think that the open door with no wind break is something that they need to address.
Great: The takoyaki, scallion pancakes, and dumplings appetizers were very good. The different ramen options were amazing. Also, very affordable for the quality and Santa came to visit! Good: Had to wait and there is limited seating space. Bad: they didn't have any hot green tea available when I went, which I thought was odd.
This is a nice place to get ramen. The ramen was presented nicely and quick but chachu was thin and cold probly could of used torched. The fried chicken was crispy and little on the tuff side. The atmosphere was really nice. Great place for family or a date. I do recommend the nigori sake and Sapporo
Arrived at 5:50, was told it was still Happy Hour and not get the Happy Hour discount applied to the Hitachino draft beer. (Of course, the kimchi fries we got are only appetizer not on the happy hour menu). First ordered at the counter and then sit down. Dishes came out as they were ready, so there was no need to provide a table buzzer. My partner handles spice well but the very oily level 2 Red Dragon broth overwhelmed any other flavor in the dish. The included ground chili pork of mostly fat resembled eggs. My signature golden tonkotsu was on the watery side. The yuzu lemonade could have been the same as Panera’s. Overall, not very happy with our $54 meal. Lastly if you are fat, you will absolutely hate the extreme inward curve on the backs of these chairs. I regret to say will only return for to-go matcha.
I am guessing they care less about Togo orders. Ordered 6 Togo boa buns (only option is pork belly). I forgot to take pictures before throwing away at hotel (we stayed across the street at SpringHill suites)... 5 of the 6 were the tiniest pieces of PURE FAT! NOT A SECTION OF ACTUAL MEAT. The 6th was still disgusting... Mainly fat, but a little bit of pork. The tofu was great. I wish they had an option for tofu boa buns. We tossed the hunks of fat in the trash and put in pieces of tofu I had bought on the side. The bun itself was great, but for all 6 pork belly pieces to be thrown in the trash that's just not right... Worth $2, not $6 a piece at that point. Got fries, they forgot all the toppings. My son got ramen. Noodles were very hard and egg was gross. I would never eat here again. Waste of $78.
