Opinions de Dim Sum Go Go East Broadway
First of all, I really appreciate the staff going out to put down ice-melt in front of the store when it starts snowing. We arrived just after it started blowing snow and they were out there making sure the sidewalk was safe. I also really appreciated the staff allowing me to put my luggage by the front desk, those small accommodations make a difference in this fast-moving city. The food is excellent as I remember, its nice to come back to a place after COVID and see the same old quality. The service is incredibly fast, they whisk away empty plates before you can put your chop sticks down. A great experience overall, and nice to see that Dim Sum Go Go is how I remember it!
Dim Sum Go Go is a fantastic find, especially considering its reputation as a budget-friendly Michelin-recommended spot. The food quality is exceptional and absolutely lives up to the hype. The standout of the meal was the seafood and meat platter - the colors and shapes were stunning, but the taste was even better. Anything involving the shrimp was simply incredible. We also tried the duck spring rolls, pork soup dumplings, and the Malaysian buns for dessert, all of which were great. A few crucial tips for your visit: Book ahead: The restaurant is very busy, and seating is quite limited inside. Consider Delivery: Because the dining area is small, they seem to prioritize deliveries, so that’s a solid option if you can't get a table. Must-Order: If you go, the platter is a must - it's a showstopper both visually and in flavor. Overall, this is a top-tier recommendation for anyone looking for high-quality dim sum that won't break the bank.
Had a great experience here - delicious, fresh, and quick service. Didn't have cash on me to hit up some of my usual dumpling spots and it was pouring outside so wanted somewhere to sit and unwind. We were seated right away on a busy Sunday and our food came out hot and quick. Great dumpling texture and flavor, delicious pork buns and loved the pumpkin cakes.
Dim Sum Go Go is a fantastic place to go to if you’re planning to eat dim sum in Chinatown! Although the location is a bit farther than the usual dim sum parlors in central Chinatown. The food is quite good as always and our waiter was attentive, showing those who didn’t know how to use chopsticks use chopsticks. The pan fried pork dumplings were the most popular dish at our table.
We had a huge party of about 18 people and the staff took amazing care of us. We ordered a lot of food and it came out super fast. We pretty much ordered every item on the dimsum menu and loved everything. The surprising thing that I didn't think I would like was the tripe. It was tender and full of flavor. If you want something authentic at a reasonable price, this is the place to go.
We came to visit Chinatown on a hot summer day, after a long walk in the sun, and we were looking for a proper sit-down restaurant with air conditioning and clean restrooms — somewhere comfortable to relax for a bit. We saw this place had great reviews on Google Maps, so we decided to give it a try. The food came out quickly and was absolutely delicious. The restaurant was air-conditioned and had clean restrooms, which was exactly what we needed. It was also really nice to see that a couple was allowed in with their dog — a pet-friendly touch we appreciated. The dim sum I loved most was the curry beef — it was my first time trying that flavor and it was wow. We also had a beef and stir-fried vegetable dish that was amazing — the meat was tender and fresh, and the vegetables were crisp and flavorful. Highly recommend stopping by! Even though it’s not right on the main Chinatown street, it’s definitely worth the short walk.
I came across Go Go Dim Sum during a sejour living in the area early this year. It was a tasty spot with good dim sum that I found one weekend morning. The food was warm on a winters day and hit the spot quite authentically especially the spring rolls, steamed pork buns, shrimp dumplings (har gow) and egg tarts - all my favourites! I know my Chinese dim sum very well having grown up in Singapore so I endorse the food here. The service was not as warm however, and a little brusque. I must say I write this as I got a shock when a waiter directly asked me for a tip as I was paying my bill. I recommend an early morning seating by the window at this restaurant so as to avoid the hustle and bustle of the weekend crowds. Enjoy a tasty meal!
We tried a variety of dishes including the shrimp dumplings, pork siu mai, and veggie dumplings — each one delicately wrapped and perfectly steamed. The dim sum tasting platter is a great way to sample their best offerings, and the dipping sauces added the perfect kick. Whether you’re a longtime dim sum fan or trying it for the first time, this spot offers a satisfying, elevated take on the classic experience. Highlights: • Made-to-order dim sum (no carts) with fresh ingredients • Elegant presentation with modern twist • Dim sum tasting platter is a must-try • Clean, comfortable dining space — great for groups • Friendly service and fast turnaround
I’m very much craving dim sum as I write this review. I did spent a bit of time researching good dim sum places that accommodate my love for meat and veggies and my friends’ vegetarian diet. I found this place based on recommendations online. Truly EXCEEDED my expectations. All the food was absolutely delicious and we were all very happy we decided to go here. Make sure to make a reservation so you get the good seats close to the window with good views of the park. Dim sum tends to be a very chaotic and an overstimulating experience, but the ambiance and ordering process was a very calm and pleasant experience. Staff were also so kind and accommodating. Can’t recommend it enough!
Super fast service. Responsive and curtious. The food comes out hot and fresh. We ordered almost all they have to offer and we did not have a bad experience. Despite the name infers fast food dim sum, it’s actually the exact opposite. The quality of their food is equal to or better than any non-casual restaurant. A must go.

Best dim sum in nyc. Food is amazing and brought out quickly. Not too expensive for NYC, maybe $25 or so pp for dinner. I recommend trying the steamed pork buns and for dessert the egg yolk tapioca.

Best dim sum I have had, and I have been to Hong Kong. Try the dumpling sampler. Not sure why TA insists on 100+ characters.

Very very tasty food! Good came out fast, gently service, real traditional Asian food. Mix of cultures having dinner at the place, clean, space enough for families, we were 5. We truly enjoyed it.

A real hidden gem in Chinatown. Great dim sum, decent service, and a nice atmosphere. The price was a lot cheaper than we were expecting considering the quality. Wish we'd ordered more!
Came here for dim sum during lunch. Ordered the meat and seafood dim sum platter and pork pan fried dumplings. Everything was delicious. That green sauce is addictive. I requested for a single beef dumpling in platter to be substituted with anything else to which they refused. This is such a simple ask but was not accomodated. I just asked them to remove it which they did. Michelin guide yeah, but don't hold your breath for service as it was pretty blunt.
This was part of our Chinatown food tour, which was a Christmas gift, and the first restaurant where we met our great tour guide. We had a taste of their dumplings and we each were also served a small roast pork bun. Tasty and satisfying overall, including the different sauces to dip in - the service was fine too.
Very touristy - we didn’t see any locals during our weekday lunch - but the food was surprisingly good and authentic. My top recommendations for food: - Shrimp rice rolls (honestly, any of the rice rolls are a safe bet) - Beef tripe with black pepper sauce - Chicken feet with black bean sauce (they were especially tender) - Bean curd skin with pork Classic: - Turnip cake One-and-done (worth trying once, but wouldn’t reorder): - Crispy tofu stuffed with shrimp (even the table next to us left it unfinished) Knocking off a star because: - Prices are relatively high compared to other dim sum spots - Tea is served by default and charged, which feels like you're hit with a table fee On the plus side, they accept cards, which is convenient if you don’t carry cash.
As you can see, we ordered 2 vegetables dishes and 1 noodle dish. On the menu clearly says that the vegetables dishes come with white rice. When I ask for the rice, they want to charge me $2/ bowl. When I told them it's free, they told me it's lunch special. I told them that the menu didn't state it is for lunch special. Then they told me it's for to go. I told them show me where on the menu state it is for to go. They then whisper to each other and say give him the big bowl for the both of them. They came back with a small bowl full to the top. I asked for an empty bowl so I can split it.
No nonsense place to get brilliant dim sum. We had just checked into our hotel and wanted quick food and dumplings were the perfect option. This place was highly rated for dim sum and we can see why. Very authentic good price and lots of variety. Food came out very quickly and we got stuck in straight away. Service was efficient, seemed al little annoyed when I asked for more dipping sauce. When we were asked if we wanted anything else I said I wasn’t sure they wanted an answer and basically gave us the bill straight away. Really high quality food for anyone wanting authentic food. They take card payment too. Recommend pork and shrimp steamed dumplings and the duck steamed dumplings.

Fast, helpful service and plenty of food for the price. Our table filled up quickly with steamer baskets, and it was easy to order for a mixed group. There was good variety of vegetarian and meat options. The space is tight and gets busy, and I’m not sure how to explain it other than it felt it catered or drew in a more Americanized crowd. The food wasn’t bad by any means but nothing really stood out either. Not my first choice for dim sum, but a fine option if you’re already in the area.
