There’s no place in NYC that resembles an authentic Hong Kong cafe as much as Kong Sihk Tong does. I’ve been here a couple times and the food is authentic and consistently so delicious. The lava toast, baked rice/spaghetti dishes, and iced Hong Kong milk tea are must-try’s. It’s ALWAYS worth the wait, and even outside of mealtimes I’ll stop by to get HK milk tea to-go. The menu is super expansive and there’s endless new things to try. Hands down my most favorite spot in Chinatown. The staff here are so kind and attentive, shout out to Simon who was the absolute sweetest, he made our whole evening!

Great HK style cafe in Chinatown a few minutes walk from the Manhattan bridge. We happened on it by chance and were so glad we did. The prices are very reasonable and the food brings warm flavors & truly hits the spot. The golden lava toast and baked spaghetti with pork chop were fantastic—I recommend! The wings with grapefruit sauce were could, but could be skipped (nothing to write home about). It’s clear that they’re efficient (though attentive), so perfect for a stop in and fairly quick meal! Would definitely come again.

The classic soy sauce noodle and the French toast were absolutely perfect. Everything I saw on the tables next to me looked so delicious too! I’m definitely coming back.. it feels like a happy dilemma deciding what to try next because everything looks amazing

Authentic HK flavors at unbeatable prices. Returned for our second visit and Kong Sihk Tong continues to impress with authentic HK cuisine at incredibly reasonable prices. The milk tea was absolutely delicious. The fried squid was crispy and flavour, while the mushroom and corn cream soup was a delight surprise. The beef brisket noodle soup and baked fried rice with steak were really good, though not quite at the same exceptional level. Service was prompt and attentive throughout our late lunch visit. The decor is simple with subtle HK touches. What really stands out is the value - high quality food at very fair prices. If you are craving genuine HK flavors without breaking the bank, this is your spot.

The mixed sauce rice rolls were very soft and delicious, as was the egg toast sandwich! I was worried the rice rolls would be too tough and hurt my jaw, but they were very delicate. The server was great too, and the atmosphere was nice! Would definitely come back here again.

In a neighborhood with tons of dining choices, try this! I especially enjoyed the Beef Chow Fun with brown sauce. The baked fried rice is awesome, but expect to wait about ten minutes for this. We also enjoyed the beef fried rice and Singapore noodles with shrimp. The waiter was very helpful with suggestions for our order. Highly recommend!

wow — what an unforgettable experience! I stumbled upon this spot and decided to try something different: French toast and pesto pasta. I wasn’t expecting much, but both dishes completely blew me away! The French toast was soft on the inside, crispy on the outside, and perfectly sweet — honestly some of the best I’ve had. But the real surprise was the pesto pasta. I didn’t think I’d find amazing pasta in Chinatown, but it was SO good! Creamy, flavorful, and cooked just right. Everything was super affordable too, which made the whole experience even better. It’s hard to find good quality food at a low price in NYC, but this place nailed it. If it’s your first time in Chinatown, definitely give this place a try — the food is cheap, delicious, and way better than I expected. I’m already planning to come back and try more dishes. A hidden gem for sure!

YUM! This is the spot for HK style cafe food. The noodle and curry are delicious and reasonably priced, the drinks are good, and the staff are friendly. Not pictured is house special fried rice which I also highly recommend. Bring cash.

I am a little torn on this review. I think the food is average or as expected for canto cuisine in Chinatown, but I LOVED the toast dessert. If you have a sweet tooth highly recommended. Ok price for quality. Small space. Efficient servers.

Place is clean, with limited place for people waiting. Staff are attentive and nice. So far , Love the wonton soup that we ordered ,but the rest are just ok . Best way to visit the place is by taking the train , unless you want to pay for parking .

Tasty comfort food. Kitchen was sold out of some stuff already even though we weren’t there that late so didn’t get to try the rice rolls. Unexpectedly really liked the baked rice w chicken Portuguese style. Other highlights were the Fries, Golden lava French toast and chow fun.

A cute little HK cafe, breakfast has limited options (boiled noodle soups and breakfast french toast or regular toast with peanut butter , condensed milk, etc. Took a while to get seated - a lot of tables just for 2. Wish they served the XO fried noodle w/ pork chops all day! XO fried ramen noodle, by the way, was awesome :) The chicken wings w/salt & pepper were good, and the salty egg toast was just so-so for me, but if you like salty egg, you may be better off. Cash only- or venmo!

3.5 Very busy place on a weekday evening; left my name on their list. Small entry space for waiting so most were outside. Narrow area with row of tables, mostly on one side but there's more seating in the back (just didnt get to see the space). Food came out fast, except the baked dish which we were told would take 20 min. The minced with eggplant dish had a lot of eggplants which I liked, except a bit salty for me. The same for the salted duck egg fried rice with jumbo shrimps. I did expect the saltiness in this one though and it was good. I've been interested to try a baked fried rice dish so picked the fried pork chop one with black pepper sauce. Too peppery for me but liked the toasted rice at the bottom of the dish. Staff is very efficient. Restroom available. Located in Chinatown, between Mott St and Bowery. Taking the train is easiest, unless willing to pay a parking lot, or look for a spot which is not easy.
