Nice new look and the young lady at the frontvcounter was a breathe of fresh air compared to my last visit; which was way before the renovations. I'll be back because of her. She was handling the drive thru and the front counter like a natural. Today around 7pm
Burger King in Elmhurst is just great. Their food is the same as every other burger king, and they serve great burgers / fries / drinks. However there is also a McDonalds near by, which is a rival to the BK franchise. Anyways, it is a great place. I cannot find any flaws whatsoever.
Love their specials and their onion rings. If you catch their coupons in weekly flyers you’ll get 2 for 1.. but even if you don’t they always have specials.
This is one of my favorite location, food always fresh, hot and made to my order. Staff are friendly. Dinning room is clean. Restroom occasionally dirty due to public usage. I highly recommend it 👍😎.
We came here for dessert. I was amazed by how clean and up-to-date this Burger King is now. (I had come in approximately 4 years ago and was, at that time, appalled by the poor conditions as well as the number of people who were just hanging about!) Clearly there has been a change in management....all the furnishings looked new and there were only diners in the dining room. And the staff was helpful and cheerful. P.S. "no mask - no service"
we just came from the airport. It was a long day. We where treated with a smile from (Alfonso) he had advise there dinning room was closed, however he asked his manager if we could sit down (Kimberly) she approved us sitting in and enjoying our dinner…… THANK YOU GREAT EXCELLENT SERVICE GREAT EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE. Perfect ending to a long day.
Love this place, here all the time. It's fairly safe to park, great service, nice staff. Great to kill time while waiting for airplane to arrive. I go here to eat and not having to worry about my car being towed is a bonus.

The older woman and the tall man did not seem happy about me walking into their restaurant. But the younger woman was very welcoming, sweet, friendly, and helpful.

The dark dude with dreads (braids) is always making sure my order is done right. Twice had I had to say something about my order but he is always there to make sense of my order and he coaches the employees about what mightve cause the mistake. This is HIGHLY appreciated since the last time i got the wrong order, the person on register threw my sandwich on the trash and left me to just ASSUME a replacement was being made.
This BK has been recently remodeled and is a mammoth improvement over it's previous condition. There parking lot offers at least 20 spaces and the front entrance is handicap accessible. The dining area is modern and relaxing, and the food is very good. The only downside was somewhat slow service, but the rest of the experience was nice enough that I'm still giving 5 stars.
Very clean place. It's very spacious and they have regular seating , high chairs and baby chairs. Staff is wonderful and I got my order really fast. Giant parking lot , so no trouble for parking....even have a drive through and also have a handicap ramp. In the parking lot which is awesome. Not much of a crowd when I was there. There is no playing part for kids. Great place to have a meal.☆☆☆☆☆
Food was as good as it can be for a fast food joint
Great place to get a nice bk burger, staff was nice and fast. Tables needed a little bit of cleaning and the floor was sticky, but i saw the staff cleaning up eventually Bathroom was clean .

EDIT- MUCH CLEANER, a much better experience. I've actually been here 2 days in a row for lunch. I've added a fourth star This location is not kept as clean as others. Tables aren't wiped down even when it's not busy.

This establishment has been around for over 15 to 20 years. They've renovated and things are normal. They have plenty of seats large area to gather and they have what every other Burger King has nothing special. The staff is okay relatively quiet not too outgoing but what are you going to do is just there to prepare your food and move on with the day. Again if you're looking for a spot to grab a meal to sit and have a space to chill this is a great location. They have parking that unfortunately is usually crowded with taxi drivers waiting to get a call but for the most part there's usually a spot to park in. They also have a drive-thru.
Clean Burger King with quick line to order. Plenty of parking makes this an easy stop for lunch. Food quality was typical Burger King. Everything was hot and tasted fine for what you got. They have many flavors of soft drinks with the Coke branded choices.
It's a Burger King on Astoria Blvd, East Elmhurst, Queens. The food is average, like most 'burger joints.' Hurray they updated this Burger King! Nice bathrooms! Plenty of parking at this location! Good job!
Nice location in neighborhood. Friendly staff. Burgers are made pretty well. 1 thing that always concerns me though with establishments, when making food so fast workers don't change their gloves in between preparing meals such as a burger with pork bacon, and a burger without. You only hope everyone uses tongs and not their hands thinking its kosher because they have gloves on. Overall I liked this location. Good seating and it was clean.
Nice decent place. Check prices if you are adding anything else to a coupon before you ask for anything extra. Limo drivers like to park, use rest rooms and wait for their client so sometimes it is hard to find parking close to the entrance. It's clean but tables needs to be maintained more frequently. Regular staff is friendly enough.
Went to grab a couple of quick snacks at the drive thru. After I paid I was asked to move my car and they would bring me my order. When I got my order I realized they didn't include any sauces at I had to get back in line for them 🤷🏽♂️
Upgraded to 3 stars,service got better, the whopper Jr is a joke,better off with the cheeseburger on dollar menu, but when in the mood for original chicken, that's the way to go
Standard BK. Like many of these fast food places the service is quick and food is standard. Also expect low customer service. Workers are minimumly trained. Parking lot is medium size and can get crowded with cabs and limos resting since this location is very close to LGA airport. Drive thru is fast.
Quick place on Astoria Blvd. to grab a bite to go. The parking lot is spacious and the servers are professional. It's usually pretty empty, but that doesn't mean they don't generate sales.
This BK has gotten marginally better. You no longer have to wait 15 mins for your meal but that's because they precook all sandwiches and throw them in microwave when you order. Burgers are ALWAYS cold. Come on, BK - do better!!!
I don't know if it's just me, but the service at most BK needs improvements and I like the food, but but for a fast food, it's not fast. The burgers and fries are cold when you get it. That's the reason "Big Mac beats the whopper". They need more workers.
During my last 2 visits I ordered diet coke. The 1st visit the CO2 was non existent. The 2nd trip it existed, but there wasn't any flavor this time. I hope the 3rd time is the charm.
Ordered a whopper with cheese no onion no pickles. Got a whopper with bacon and pickles. Get workers that are competent. Don't go there!!!!. Not the first time my order was a disaster. Manager should be watching. Never again!! The bathroom had feces on the floor and walls. I wanted to vomit. Food was cold. Do not eat here!!!
GM everyone. I just had really bad experience at this location. I used to come here all the time for flamed burgers but it was only during night time. Today I decided to get my favorite burgers at 9 am :) It was really bad decision...I ordered the whoper meal, that's what I usually get from BK at this location. Burger and fries tested awful, the Dr. Pepper tested like water. I asked them to make another one and I returned the meal. They took 10 minutes to make another whoper meal. I was hoping this time I am going to enjoy my meal. WRONG!!!! It was warmer but didn't tested or smelled any better. I couldn't eat and I didn't go back to ask them to make me another one. My stamack actually bothering me from having this wonderful meal and I had only few bites not a lot.I just don't understand why night shift knows how to make it right and morning shift doesn't???
This place has 0/10 customer service, I passed by the drive thru and no one would answer. I went around the drive thru and they told me go to back around. Went inside instead and told them how long I was sitting outside at the microphone and no one acknowledged me. Was met with a sort of *kanye shrug* attitude. Fries were fresh but everything else was sloppily done.
They aren't consistent. They don't have small cups for ice coffees so they expect me to get the biggest size?? I can't even drink that much coffee. Lost my loyalty, not coming back

I filled out for the free whopper and told them lights are out and looks closed. Guess what a week later still looks closed. My I ordered whopper no pickels got my order which was 2 whopper meals. Both had pickles I got back explain to the staff at counter. She gives it to the person making sandwiches. The guy just opened the whopper removed the pickels and wrapped it up in same wrapper and gave it back ? ? ? ? This place almost killed my brother he is allergic to pickels could you imagine if I did not see this . Shame on you Burger King really shame on you. Please correct this stuff.
I go to Burger King at least twice a week and ordered two piece to 10 pieces of chicken nuggets for 149 a peace I've been to 4 different Burger Kings and two 10-piece nuggets is 249 yet when I come to this location two 10 piece chicken nuggets is 599 which I believe is outrageous. To add insult to injury the Nuggets was warm not even hot, they were lukewarm as if they were sitting for a couple of hours which I did not appreciate!!!
ok, sometimes they get it right, sometimes they don't. never come during busy hours, quality of food is horrible...I swear it's like no one there never had mozzarella sticks, the mozzarella is always extra fried
When we visited they were only accepting cash and couldnt accept credit or debit. The restaurant is updated on the inside but neither of the bathrooms had a baby changing table for our daughter. I also think the toilet was broken or not working correctly because it was runing without someone flushing it.
Unfortunately the experience at this BK left me feeling like a pawn as opposed to a King. The restroom had no paper and the hand dryer did not work. Ask for a napkin, if you dare. The whopper with cheese was not hot at all. The cheese was not melted. The original chicken sandwich was double fried and super greasy. For two fries, only one ketchup was given. It did not matter as the fries are given a “thumbs down”! Now my caveat, I have not had a Burger King meal in over a decade. After this experience, I am closing that door for good. Clearly this was not a whopper of a good meal.
The inside is very nice but once you get food Whoppers we got cold fries tasted horrible . Going to Burger King almost did not see it guess they are wanting to save on electricity bill cause once I did find it , looked closed none of the outside signs have the lights on. Just makes it look dingy and surprised it is clean inside. Then all staff doing and preparing food WITHOUT mask 😷 COVID 19 is still around. Darn and I love Burger King may have to rethink about going to make another purchase from them.
Fast basic service. Place seems like it needs an upgrade, pictures falling, walls need cleaning and bathrooms need locks and it was not clean at all (sign on door stating lock doesn't work knock before entering). Not the nicest Burger King. I will avoid visiting this place in the future all together.
I come here maybe once every other month. Used to be a very nice experience when these two girls were working there but the new staff look miserable. They move slow, they look at the line forming and continue to walk back and forth, grabbing a straw here and a drink there. I waited a couple minutes at the register, before someone decided to take my order. The cashier wasn’t pleasant. I witnessed an employee return with a bag, which I assume was returned from the drive thru, proceed and throw the fries right back into the batch of fresh ones and placed the burger back with the others. With everything that has happened these past years and continues to happen, being so unsanitary was enough of a red flag for me to not return.
Disgustingly slow. 1 person working . He's at the inside counter and doing the drive Through window ad well. Very disappointed with burger king. I would recommend going 1 more block and purchase from McDonalds. I would rate a -100 but there's no - stars.
I went to a Burger King in Long Island last weekend and after graciously offering me the number of sauces I requested , I asked them “ How was that some locations are liberal with the sauce and some are strict ? “ He said ” it depends on the person “ ... I guess the people that work here are particular about making revenue and put less emphasis on customer satisfaction. What a shame.

I'm eating here rite now I love. Burger King I feel it's better then dumb mr.ronald McDonald's but this Burger King is nasty the bathroom is always dirty. I also found flys on the cookies and on the tables. This will be my last time coming to this establishment and is so close to my now ima gonna have to travel 20 minutes to enjoy a good burger nasty I don't even wanna give a 1 star I'm upset

The most dirtiest and messy Burger King I have ever been to. No exhaust fan, smoke from the food all over the place, tables, chairs, floors and bathroom everything dirty. Seems like nothing has been cleaned for yearsss. Very bad customer service.
I love Burger king, specially rest stop burger king on the turnpike! However this was the worst food i have ever gotten from BK. I got the 2 whopper deal and added cheese, when i got to my car i opened one up since i was starving, but when i took a bite i realized that the meat patti was cold, or luke warm. The cheese did not even melt a little bit. Went back inside to ask for a hot burger, was given the same exact cold burger again, i even explained to the guy that the girl making the burgers grabbed the patti from the same plastic container. He replied thats an incubator! I said what happened to the grill that i keep seeing in the comercials? He just gave me a dirty look. Forget about the grill at this place, the meat was saggy and not good. I ate half of one burger and then threw out the other one.i will not be back at this location, ever.
Service was horrible. Wanted to order a whopper and the worker told me that their out of burgers, really? Burger king is out of burgers how ironic. I went to this location on 09/04/2021 @07:30 ish for breakfast I wanted am impossible burger, As I go frequently to to order the same thing each time, I went to place my order in the drive thru and a young lady told me that I can not order anything due to the fact that the delivery truck is there. I ask were they opened for business and was told they were. Confused I asked I don't understand why I can not order food, She then said OK you can order but you have to wait at least a half and hour and would have to circle the block because I can not block the drive thru lane. I asked the girl her name so i knew I would reference when contacting corporate which she refused, I sensed that I was interrupting things and was not going to be accommodated so I left #DISSAPOINTEDRIKERS NURSE hungry and annoyed
Just came out of the Burger King in Astoria. I know it’s early 8:am The manager was very rude . Didn’t say anything when I and and other people walk in, had to wait 5min for someone to come and take our order, mind you she didn’t even call someone, had her coat on working with food.which I think it’s disgusting wearing her outside coat on. Went to the drive thru for breakfast, order a number 1 (Sausage, egg and cheese croissant-wich) and the junior burritos with 2 orange juices and once I got home I checked and there was everything except for the sandwich. So I went back to show and tell them and the gentleman who worked there got upset saying that he did put it in there and how did it magically disappear and gave me a bunch of attitude. Why would I lie about a sandwich? But I'm not going to pay $6.99 for hashbrowns and an orange juice.
Is ashamed that I have to go into another BK to experience good service! Just when in today given it another chance and was for the last time disappointed. Long line so I decided to use the restroom to find dirty floors, toilet and the cherry on top NO TOILET PAPER! I live in this neighborhood and will never go in again. Fast food lovers be warned!
Customer service is awful I was standing there for a minute until someone recognized me. I was there, but they are too busy talking to each other or playing with the receipts. Very bad service go through drive-through you’ll get faster service.
This is one of the BK you should avoid. They are always more expensive then other BK and the food just isn't good. The other BK in astoria by the GCP is always on point but this one is total garbage
This was the worst experience I have ever had at Burger King. The owner needs to revamp the entire staff and get some real management skills in place. I sat in the drive through for 30 and an additional 10 after my husband went inside to see what was taking so long. This place is horrendous! If your driving by keep going.
Ive been going to this burger king for 30years. In the last couple of years the drive thru has started this strange practice of having people move their car over to the next lane which cars use to enter instead of waiting at the window and they physically leave the booth and come out and bring you your food leaving their back door open. Ive refused to move my car over because on more than 1 occasion cars have tried to enter the lot and almost hit my car because they weren’t expecting a car to be parked there. Usually the BK employee will just go get my food but on a few occasions they have thrown tantrums because i wouldn’t move my car over and would physically slam things on the counter, curse at me, leave the booth and bad mouth me to the cars behind me and now I’ve ended up with a case of food poisoning. I didn’t eat anything yesterday except for Burger king and have been on the toilet and washing bed sheets since. Think that was my last trip to my local burger king.
I Arrived at this Burger King’s drivethru window this afternoon. To my displeasure, I encountered horrible customer service and complete incompetence with a grand touch of negligence. The girl at the drivethru was extremely rude (no “Welcome to Burger King. How my I serve you today.”) She improperly placed drink lids on cups causing a spill inside my new car. The floor mats took the brunt of the spill, although some of the carpet did get soaked. The manager was rude and couldn’t care less. All he stated was “I’m sorry, I’m just as angry at the employees as you” and gave me some napkins to clean up. Yes, he repeatedly stated how sorry he was rolling his eyes sarcastically. He failed to return my receipt. I was truly enraged! I had to take a deep breath and control my reaction. He offered to take the meal away from me and Refund the money? Really? No compensation for damages? This Burger King is horrible. I’m considering legal options to compensate for my damages if the company fails to comply. The compensation is under $100 at most. This isn’t about the money, it’s about pure arrogance on their part. People like that need to be knocked down a peg. Their not entitled to a job! They must earn it and respect others. My ultimate goal is to have these employees fired to avoid the same incident from happening again in the future to another unsuspecting customer. These employees have demonstrated total disregard for customer care. Unfortunately employees with such empty headed short sited minds as these can’t be trained to respect others. All I expected from them was empathy and sincerity with a good old fashioned apology. How about the manager providing good business practices by offering the meal on the house? The matter probably would be dropped. I will not allow myself to be degraded by anyone. I believe in fairness and honesty. Always right a wrong, shake hands then both parties walk away feeling respected.
Food slapped together messily. In drive-thru, always tell you to pull over to side so their numbers look good. 😑 Update, 7/12/22: I didn't think it could get worse, but it has. 7 pm on a weekday and the inside part was closed. Went to the drive-thru and after 10 minutes, got food, but missing a burger. 10 more minutes before getting missing burger. Went home and found the king burger I ordered was missing 2nd patty, lettuce, tomato and cheese. Basically, a hamburger with the special sauce. I'd been going here for over 30 years. Will never go back.
I ordered an Croissan'wich breakfast sandwiche and a Egg-normous Burrito then decided to get the Sourdough Bacon Breakfast King as it was a promo and wanted to try it out. I confirmed my order with the cashier 2x and even after I paid I looked at the receipt and I saw I was overcharged and didn't get the promo that was on display so I inquired again a third time. The cashier then tells me that I am charged almost $10 for the breakfast promo because I asked for coffee as my drink and that is a dollar extra when the promo price on the display was $7 for the meal. What breakfast combo doesn't come with coffee or juice? The food arrived and I checked the order a 4th time and it was completely wrong. I was handed a Sourdough King and Fries, not the breakfast sandwich I ordered nor the hash browns. I told her it was wrong and she gave me an attitude and brushed me off and instead used her headset to call a manager over. He refunded me the whole order and then charged me again for the two sandwiches they got right. I paid and left disappointed. After checking the order with the signage and pointing it out multiple times, it was still incorrect. I would not recommend this Burger King as they seem to not care. I was unable to get what I ordered and just wanted to be done with the entire ordeal.
The food wasn't cooked properly, the chicken was reheated. The chairs and tables are old and are not clean. The bathroom is unkept. A master cleaning of the doors, the dining area, and counter areas (including the doors) would be a great improvement.
Very rude unprofessional and unpolite personnel working in this store and the quality of the burgers are very poor. The dining area was very dirty. this the reason Burger King is going out of business.
I have been patronizing this location for a number of years with no major issues, ever. Within the last year or so, every time you visit the drive-thru, they ask you to move your vehicle to the side of the pick-up window so they can then bring your food out to you, rather than wait at the actual window. I assume there is a service timer or something and this is their workaround of sorts. Pretty annoying and a waste of time when they then bring your food within minutes. Also to note, on more than one occasion, there is a young guy, 20's, glasses and long hair/pony tail that works the drive-thru. This "gentleman" for a better use of words is incompetent, arrogant and really makes visiting this location a bit painful. Yea, it's fast food, can't expect much, but this guys attitude/demeanor speaks volumes for his character, reflects the establishment and the way they operate and handle business. Subpar. - 0/5 ⭐️'s
03/01/24 10:55am I stood in a emty store waiting for someone to take my order then another customer walks in and got his order taken before me then the worker proceeded to prepare the guys order with out acknowledging me. So i left the store, im not going to beg someone to take my money poor service.
Really dislike giving bad reviews but the experience was so horrible. I would expect more from an established franchise. Maybe friendly courteous service was too much to ask for after an 11.5 hour shift at my job. Was so looking forward to some food. Pulled up to drive thru. 3 mins and no hello. 2 mins later (5mins total) I pull up to the second window to place an order. Gentleman with attitude told me that I have to place an order at the first window. Explained that I been there 5 mins without a hello and he stated they are extremely busy. Mind you a "welcome to burger King please give us a few minutes" would have made me feel atleast like I was progressing to an order. I reversed to the first window. Waited over another minute and no acknowledgement. I parked and went inside only to see that extremely busy meant two people placing an order. Guy saw me and went to the back. I placed an order regardless but only because I was really hungry. Place is 3 mins from my job. Probably will give it one more time. Good thing I'm not going on first inpressions
There is these night crew guy that for some reason always don't want to work. Can't hear the order though drive thru. Always rushes you off with your total when I'm not finish with my order. Then when asking him to add additional items to your order, he won't do it. He says to go around and make another order with his sad "sorry my friend" tacky voice. We all know that don't work like that. Now I know why McDonald's down the block be busy and this place is empty. It's not the food that's for sure.
Burger King service seems to get worse and worse every time I visit one and this location is no different! CEOs continue to receive big paychecks while employee turnover is so high nobody behind the counter completes their training. I made a common and simple request that I make at any fast food chain and for some reason the guy behind the counter just lied to my face and I didn't realize it until I got home with my food. Even the most expensive menu items are slapped together and just lack any appeal! Save your money and go up the street to McDonald's were the service hasn't changed since the pandemic.
The parking lot is large with 4 exits. The drive through is angled akwardly at an entrance/exit! Not enough staff for lunch hour (was a bit slow)! The "dinning" space needs renovations. Bathroom(s) one stayed locked for staff use ,solely ( from managers mouth)! But there was a line of 6 individuals waiting, male and female! Didn't order, nor use the one large bathroom.
Horrible service. Waited for 10 minutes and my food was ready but not brought to the pick up area. Has to ask what was the deal to finally get the food, so it was trash once i got it
I was very disappointed with the service I received at this location. I came in one night to order my food to go. I waited at the counter for someone to take my order, but the only person there paid no attention to me. He took orders from the drive through and then started bagging other orders, but never once acknowledged me. 2 or 3 other employees walked to the front but no one never said anything. Then a second customer came in and stood next to me at the counter, him also waiting. A lady from the back came to the front and pointed out us customers waiting to the guy working the front, then he finally came over ONLY to skip me and go to the guy next to me who came in after me! I was furious! I asked why was I skipped after waiting for so long!? This is not the first time I've come here and received horrible service, I left without ordering anything. This location seriously needs some additional training about customer service!! I will not be back!
Horrible. Location is really nice, but some of the cashiers are a pain when it comes honoring coupons. Stop putting coupons in my circulars, stop posting codes on the internet if it's going to be such an issue to use. Otherwise, my children love burger king. So mad I give these people so much of my money
Messed up my order lately. I went home and they did not give certain items that I ordered and paid. I was already home so I did not want to back and deal with the whole issue. But very disappointed with the service. Make sure you check to see that they actually give all the items and don't make the mistake of going home to check everything.
My friend got food poisoning here September 11 2025
Went to eat there the day that was hot. They had the AC off, people where sweating. But yesterday I went late at night and the nuggets got this wear taste(I don’t know if it was because it was left without refrigeration or if they spray some cleaning spray). Today everyone who ate them ended up with an inflammation of the gums. Burger King is great but this location in particular stay away off. If there food taste wear just return it and ask for a refund.
Drive thru did not work.
Check your food before you leave the window. These people give you the old expired food and walk away every single time. This has been the worst Burger King of all of them since I remember, and I have been living here for over 12 years. It never gets better only worse I won’t even give it any stars
I had a bad experience with Customer Service. She was rude and dismissive. Her name is Barbara.
1/19/25 - they never answer phones so if you have question about your missing food just know you wont get an answer. anyways the idiots here forgot my fries and i ordered medium fries and two whopper jr's. how dumb can these workers be

This is the worst location.. Today at 8pm got in to the drive thru and the person behind the mic was been so rude and we got to the next window he start telling us we should never order from there because he can’t hear me and he was so mad he started to course at me and my family to go away like if we know him and didn’t take our order because he is tired .. please I need to contact the manager and do something about this.. as a client let me tell you that’s not the right way to treat clients
Burger King corporate really need to do something about the Spanish or Dominican guy works at night shift, very weird, rude, instead of serving customer he seems more into how to be rude and agreesive. Does not want to serve customers. Mocks clients in Spanish thinks we don’t understands him. This guy will get Burger King a huge lawsuit, fire this guy Burger King.
Tonight july 13 at 9:55 pm. I was standing in front of the cash register and i was the only customer there. The Spanish guy with a goatee was completely ignoring me. The older black guy was just looking at me like nothing. Burger king you should teach your employees manners. I had to leave because they didn’t want to serve me. You’re losing money because of your unprofessional employees. #rude #unprofessional
