Bbq bacon brisket burger with French fries Really good. Super fresh service was great. Would definitely recommend!!
Clean, bright and Modern. Wr go in to see our favorite bartender when we make the trek to Longview. Great Rueban and excellent Chicken fingers. Drinks are great! We always feel welcome and get great service .
Been here a few times now and everytime it's been delicious. Friendly servers, good atmosphere, fantastic food. Great place to go to with friends.
My husband and I absolutely adore Julie, one of the many great servers. She always greets us with a kind smile, and gives us a personable experience. She is extremely attentive and takes great care of her tables, she’s funny, she’s down to earth, she’s THAT girl, and I recommend you go to see her at this location! The food is always incredible, prices may be on the higher side, but nonetheless, it is worth the quality and quantity, especially with the hardworking staff employed here. 🧡
Our family celebrated Christmas Eve with prime rib dinners last night at Porky's and couldn't be happier! First off, the service was first class. Melissa was our server and was warm and friendly. She was especially attentive to our 91 year old dad and made sure she was available for any and all our needs. The prime rib was cooked perfectly and was fork tender. We all had the loaded baked potato and salad which were delicious. When being served, Melissa and other staff members delivered our plates so we were all served at the same time. During our meal, the manager visited our table to check in on us, further extending their top notch service. With their high quality food, inviting atmosphere and top notch service, you'll be hard pressed to find a better eatery in SW Washington!
We stopped on in for the reviews on having the best bloody marys. Spot on and agree for they own the title. Can't wait to come back and try something new for they have quite the selection. Ooh the burgers were TAAAASTY and so impressively quick to recieve. Waitress took great care of us and wqs very sweet. All around, wonderful experience for us. We don't get to eat out very much and will absolutely chose this place to treat ourselves. Thank you so much!
Was passing through Longview and stopped at Porky’s. My husband and I each got a beer, the coconut shrimp, and a pulled pork sandwich to share. The food was really good, but the most notable thing was the service. All the staff were welcoming and very friendly. Even the patrons inside the restaurant seemed happy. Would definitely recommend to anyone, and will be stopping by again if we ever pass through!
5 stars all around. I became sort of a regular here in the month that I was in town, and let me tell you, this is a spot. I wouldn't have known about it, but this was one of the first places that Gary took me to. We spent many nights here. I had a lot of fun, and the fries are very good. This was many years ago, but I bet the fries are still good. Pro tip: Ask for your fries "Gary style" they'll know what to do
This place has excellent service. They managed to seat myself and my family during a Mariners playoff game and didn't rush us so we were able to watch most of the game there. Friendly staff from hostess, to server, to manager. Food was decent, drinks were great. It's an excellent place to watch a game.
We walked in with not a lot of time, were greeted by the sweetest hostess, shown to our table & the rest is history. Paul was amazing, pleasant & helpful. As tourists on our way to Astoria we knew nothing of the local beers so we needed help. The restaurant was beautifully done, the bar, the patio with Adirondack chairs & fire pit looked so inviting! We would definitely love to come back when we have more time. I was so impressed I wanted to know the history & found out the owners took over in the 90's and have won several awards. Longevity with a small business doesn't come easy & this space, the staff & it's food make it look easy.
One of the best restaurants i have been to in a long time. I have been here twice before and every time it gets better. I ordered the prime rib special and it was so tender and wasn't over salted. But still had great flavor and my wife had a Ruben and it was so full she could barely eat it(half of it). Melissa was our waitress and she was awesome. Highly recommend. Porkys please keep your standards up you have a great place
Driving through Longview and stopped at Porky’s for lunch. I ordered the steak salad and my partner got the Reuben. I was a thinking the price was too much, (22.00) for my salad. Turns out it was worth it! The staff were great! They brought our dog a treat and a fresh bowl of water while we had lunch on the patio. By the time we left, the patio was packed with customers.
We went to Porky's for a friend's birthday. We got fish and chips, tacos and wings. The 3 of us shared the food so that we all could try everything. The fish and chips was so good! They had so many choices for alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks. Our server was really nice and she was very helpful. You could tell she liked her job. She was attentive but not over the top. We got everything we needed. We sat inside since it was kind of windy outside, but there were several people sitting outside. The atmosphere was great and welcoming. We really enjoyed our evening. We want to go back and try the burgers next time.
Stopped in at Porky’s Public House for lunch and was pleasantly surprised. It’s a classic, no-frills bar-style restaurant with a lively, upbeat atmosphere. By noon, the place was packed—clearly a local favorite—but the staff kept things moving and never missed a beat. Drinks were constantly refilled, and the service was genuinely friendly throughout. There’s outdoor seating available, though we sat inside where it was loud, energetic, and full of that good bar buzz. Pricing was very reasonable—perfect for a casual midday meal. I went with a salad and a plate of wings, and I have to say—the wings were exceptional. Juicy, well-cooked, and generously sauced, which is rare to find these days. Too often, places skimp on the sauce, but not here. I ordered the medium Buffalo and garlic Parmesan—both absolutely delivered. The Buffalo had just the right amount of heat without overwhelming, and the garlic Parm was rich, savory, and well-balanced. If you’re in the area and want a casual, satisfying meal in a fun setting, Porky’s is a solid choice—especially if you’re a wing fan.
We went in for Blitz Burger Week. We had never eaten here but drive by all the time. This is a family friendly location, and children are welcome. The owners are amazing people and very personable. The burgers are delicious. If you are looking for delicious nachos…this is the place. They are different than other nachos that I have had. Definitely the best American style nachos…😁😁😁 Everything is fresh, homemade and made with a lot of love. You can definitely taste the love in the food.
Pretty good spot. I ordered the Fuego burger and it wasn’t very spicy though. Would’ve liked a better kick but that’s ok. Tots were pretty crispy and not overcooked like usual places. The sweet potato fries were also pretty good and crispy. The wife ordered the chicken sandwich and it was pretty bad though. Overcooked and plain.
Would go here again just to eat the fried pickles again, they were SO delicious I’m still thinking about them. Waiter was super cool and helpful and gave great recommendations!! Huge beer/drink selection. My husband loved the waiters suggestion. Food was good but brisket sandwich was a bit too fatty, and BLT a little smaller than expected with description. But overall great meal and vibe!! Will go again.
Starvin marvin on my way home to Astoria, stopped here because maps said they have a club sandwich! I'm a fiend for club sandwiches! Servers were nice and quite attentive considering they were pretty slammed on a game night. I sat in a corner where no screens would distract me from my sandwich. Which was a totally reasonable club. It is the type that also has cheese and ham (which I have always called a "Virginia Club," but what the hell do I know?) and was nicely constructed. I like veggies, and there could have been more...the tomatoes were really a bit meh, but what can you do in the middle of winter? I gobbled it up, and the fries were good enough that I polished those off too. Decent choice for a sandwich, but I think I need to come back for the Prime Rib special...that looked bomber!
Close, close 5. I haven't been here in about 15yrs. Definitely not the same place, but that isn't all bad. For the Cons, my Beer Cheese Soup had red and green bell peppers and I am allergic. No.where were peppers mentions and also found it to be odd. Cocktail also wasn't great, but it was strong so my Buddy gave it a thumbs up. The Service was Fantastic! ! Walked in and Hosted went to clean a table for us straight away. Our Serve was absolutely Fantastic! Offered to fix the soup and remembered I didn't want any sauces. My plate came with plenty of sauces and she immediately apologized. I was impressed she had not only remembered, but she made sure to address it. Had to send pics to friends of the Prime Rib. Not the quaint Beer Dive of old, but not far from Fine Dinning with the help of Christmas Decor. Plans are made to return!
First time here in many years. Tables outside are nice, so you can bring your pooch. Huge menu upgrade since the old days. Everything was fresh and as ordered. Only con was they had run out of sourdough bread. Kind of ridiculous for an establishment to not stock themselves better, since they have menus listing items made on sourdough. Still has a full bar, but no more pool tables. Appropriate to bring the whole family in now. Our waiter was friendly, patient and efficient. Host was kind of hovery for no apparent reason. All in all good food, we'll go back.
We’ve driven past Porky’s probably a hundred times, and finally took a chance on them tonight. We should have kept driving. The staff was incredibly friendly, but that’s literally the only good thing I can say about the experience. I mean, we got close parking? Which was great, since it meant we could leave faster (and escape the musty smell of old carpet and cigarettes). It was happy hour, and we got a sampler platter, plus some nachos with pulled pork and an order of wings. I’m a fried food fiend and before today, I figured there’s no way to ruin fried pickles, green beans, mushrooms, coconut shrimp, or boneless wings. I rarely admit this, but: I was wrong. So very wrong! Each item was worse than the last; like not even straight off the Sysco truck, but maybe purchased from the dollar store, or wherever school cafeterias buy food. The nachos were completely cold, and also bland. The cheese sauce tasted of nothing, and the additional shredded cheese was completely unmelted. They do serve the entire thing on a giant tortilla, which is an idea we may adopt at home, so not a complete loss! The wings were more mediocre than meaty. My husband can usually house a dozen easily but he ate three and boxed the rest. We felt bad about not liking it so we just took it all to-go and then threw it away at Rosauers because I couldn’t stand smelling it anymore. I told my husband “I have never ordered so much food and still left a restaurant so hungry. All that did was make me want an actually good version of all of those things!” Sorry Porky’s. We wanted to like you, but you made it really hard!
