Always love coming to cracker barrel always the best food and service. Always cute and old styled gifts you can get here which I love.
Ordered buffet style a few times, lunch, and breakfast and it did not disappoint! The food was fantastic, the people were great, would not go anywhere else for a work event again. I've also been there personally with my family, which is why we decided them for catering. This is the only photo I got storing award ceremony.
Barbara the manager was amazing. Jen my waitress was also amazing she was so polite and best customer service I have ever had. At the store Bailey,Levon, and Pat helped me find so many gifts for family members and myself and I couldnt of had a better experience. Thank you all for yout kindess and dedication as the best team.Food was the best ever everytime I come and fresh.
Had a great breakfast . Everything was delicious and our server was awesome. The cashier was very pleasant.
Our waitress Megan, and the assistant manager on duty were Amazing. The assistant manager helped us out with our usused gift cards, and went to great lengths to ensure they were valid, and went could use them. I did forget her name though.
The food was delicious The service was even better The food came out fast and our server kia was awesome!! Oh almost forgot Barbara another great interaction! I say try them out and if you want good service definitely ask for Kia 💪
We had a very pleasant experience on my visit. The food was good, and the Retail Service was exceptional. The Retail Manager was Helpful, kind, courteous and respectful. We had a lovely time.
My daughter and I eat at cracker barrel every Saturday and the atmosphere and food is always great. Amber is a very attentive server and we always have a great time. The steak and Egg breakfast is delicious and my daughter loves the grilled cheese and seasoned rice. Highly recommend stopping in for great food, great service, and a welcoming atmosphere!
Have eaten dine in here many times and done pick up a few times as well. The servers are always very friendly and helpful. Great food. All day breakfast option too! I love the steak and my husband loves the chicken fried chicken with gravy. The lemonade is so good here! The only issue I ever had was one time they left 2 items out of my order when doing takeout. I caught it before leaving the parking lot. As soon as I informed them they didnt even ask to see the receipt, they immediately went back and got what I needed. Very impressed with the service. We will be coming back soon.
Good food, good variety to select from. Good prices compared to similar restaurants.
Really cool shop with lots of cute and nostalgic items for sale. Got a very cute salt and pepper shakers that were a frog and a mushroom. Staff are very friendly and we had a good laugh about some jokes in a dad joke book. Will definitely be visiting again.
This meal was an absolute blast!! What an introduction to Southern food! As non-Americans, we love checking out classic American establishments. This location had a crackling fireplace complete with guns and animal heads over the mantel, and we thought the Southern decor was so cute! Each table had a classic oil lamp, and we purchased a few themed souvenirs from the retail store. The food was SO good and such great value!!! Yes it was heavy, yes it was a lot of calories, but so worth it for a treat! Our entire feast came down to about $40 USD and we were MORE than stuffed. We ordered the Chicken Fried Chicken as our main - it came with three country sides, which we picked Macaroni 'n Cheese, Sawmill Gravy and the Fried Apples). The fried chicken was PERFECT, and the fried apples were sweet and filled with cinnamon, which paired well with the salty chicken. The gravy was interesting but a bit too heavy, and the Mac'n'cheese was standard - I probably wouldn't get these two again. However, the sirloin steak tips (as a side) were the HIGHLIGHT of our meal! They were so juicy and seasoned perfectly with the garlic butter - plus they were way cheaper than a main and a great value for the price. Highly recommend! Service was exceptional, and our server was really friendly. She gave GREAT recommendations (such as the Steak Tips!), and was really helpful when we explained that we weren't familiar with American cuisine and patiently walked us through all their menu options and answered our questions. We will be back!!!!!
Friday night I met up with 3 friends and we haven’t seen each other in 25 years. I am so glad we chose Cracker Barrel, the atmosphere was so nice, the food was delicious & our waiter, Chris was so attentive. We ended up being there for 2 hours, catching up & never once did we feel rushed. We can’t wait to go back again.
One of my favorite spots! Food was amazing, staff were super friendly and my partner & I digested out food over a game of checkers in the rocking chairs out front. Made the perfect lunch date.
I love coming here. We went here recently and the cooks lost our ticket and we waited for almost 45 mins with no food, but our wonderful waitress Jen took care of us. She made sure we got our food and took care our our bill. We appreciate the customer service and will continue to come back to enjoy good southern food.
Went to crack a barrel with my family in spite of the fact that two years ago I had bad experience. This time it was the exact opposite. The food was great the service was wonderful and I wouldn't hesitate to go back again
The food was good but I really appreciated the server who found me in the country store after the meal and returned the seat cushion I use for my back that I had left behind. We live 45 minutes away so it would have been a long trip to come back to pick it up. We like the meatloaf.
Recently it appears there must be a shortage of staff for cleaning. The last few times we have been here the chairs have been dirty, covered in food. And not cleaned off before the next guest is sat at a table. other than that, the food and service is always great!
The layout and food of all the Cracker Barrels I've been to are pretty much the same. The difference is the people that work there, and that's what makes this one top-notch. I didn't get the names of the host or cashier, but both were very friendly and helpful. Our server, Kia, was great. She was attentive and lived up to her catch phrase "I got you!"
We been into different restaurant and our first time at crafel barrel! Omg!! There foods are so delecious a very afffordable price and plus amazing customer service our server handle us very well making sure we are happy and checking us all the time. Husband and I plan to go back again. Thank you so much you guys u have a very friendly staff! Smile everywhere even how busy they are…❤️
My German houseguest is a Cracker Barrel fan and always needs to visit one when he is in this country. He was delighted that I could take him to Troy and have his favorite breakfast special which consisted every breakfast item you could think of. It came on two plates and he happily devoured the whole thing. I had the Friday special which was tasty crispy batter fried cod. Tasty tartar sauce and delicious sides. The portions were generous, and the food was fresh. The service was attentive. It was an enjoyable afternoon.
Great food at great prices, with a nice little country store to shop at after your meal. Staff was very friendly! Checkers boards and chess for kids to play while parents shop. You should check this place out!!
Never been to a Cracker Barrel in my life, first time experience was great. The atmosphere is very welcoming, the little shop in the front is fun. I’m not one to be super proud of American culture, but this place definitely represents it in a warm and inviting manner. Not to mention the food was really good especially for the price. I got the campfire beef, highly recommend. I was not expecting the beef to be that tender and well seasoned. All of the accompaniments were great as well. Unfortunately being that I live on Long Island, there aren’t any Cracker Barrel’s near me, but I’ll certainly be returning when I’m near one.
I have been coming to this location since I was a kid and have never had any issues. Food has always been decent and reasonably priced and the service is always on point. This location is right off of I-90, making it convenient and easy to get to. This week, I have been staying in East Greenbush for business and I can say this restaurant remains a safe bet. Great for all day breakfast and home style dinners. The gift shop is always a staple on road trips for loading up on sweets!
Everybody kind of knows what cracker barrel's all about but you got to love that it's convenient. I do like their take-home for $6 dinners as of fall 2025
Our waitress was nIce but, when the order arrived, she left, with no silverware and no dipping sauce for one of us. No catsup or hot sauce on the table. We asked another waitress, she was perturbed and said she'd tell our waitress.
absolutely delicious! It is 10 stars in all, surprised with the service to the tables of more than 5 people! Wow Waiters line to serve a table of 10, I loved it! and the food without words totally Fresh… So much for such low prices !!! It is very, very cheap ... 1 and 100,000 times I recommend it ...
My wife and I go there quite often. We usually ask for our regular waitress Amber. The food is ALWAYS high quality. The service provided by the staff is top notch. Always friendly. Great price and the style and atmosphere is really nice. Love sitting near the fire place! Highly recommend!
My husband and I stopped by Cracker Barrel around 11:00 am Saturday morning. The parking lot was full. Nothing like stalking the people coming out of a restaurant so you can grab their parking spot! 😮 We were pleased to find out that there wasn't a waiting list even though the parking lot was full. We enjoyed breakfast and tried out their new Beignets with pecan sauce. Very yummy and nice and hot when they arrived at the table. Would definitely order again.
The Maple Bacok Grilled Chicken was so good and juicy! I love it, I'd order it again. Side house salad was amazing too. The server was really helpful and nice too. I'm happy that we stopped by
Their food is always amazing. Loved their sweet ice tea they are making themselves. Their lemonade is really good too. I had their burgers before which was great and had their meatloaf which tasted good and. Will most definitely go back. They sell the cutest stuff and great snacks too. Love the Cracker Barrel. Reminds me of home where we have shops alongside the road which sells cute stuff like Cracker Barrel.
This was a great experience. The food was great and the service even better. Chris was my server and he really went above and beyond to assure we had a great experience. Very happy customer. The store is also pretty amazing high quality items but pricy.
Great 'home cooked' food... if your mom is from the south and the best cook in the block. Good comfort food, well prepared, in a homey atmosphere. Probably not great for low carb, low cholesterol, low sodium, or vegan diets.
Classic farm stand with much more. The best cider donuts in the region. Always great service. I have not tries a y of the food offerings, but the aroma coming from the kitchen is heavenly.
The food was superb. Properly prepared well cooked very well presented. However Cracker barrel is struggling. This is not the fault of anyone at East greenbush they are kind caring and dedicated. Due to the failures of corporate leadership they do not have adequate staffing. In the Glory Days of cracker barrel your coffee cup would never be empty while you were waiting for their hot delicious meal. However all the wait staff is so stretched thin that they're taken care of too many people at once. At the same time corporate has cut back on things like bathroom cleanliness it looks like someone got murdered in the men's room. Without busboys plates and things day on the tables longer than they should. Corporate needs to really bring more resources to support this location
Thoroughly enjoyed our meal at East Greenbush Cracker Barrel. Got the spicy catfish with the potato casserole. Delicious!!! Good size portions! Our server, Diamond 💎 was amazing!!! She was going a million miles a hour making sure we had everything we needed. So courteous and efficient. By far one of the best I’ve encountered! 5 + stars for her!⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
This place is always great and is one of my destinations. I used to go almost every morning after working an overnight shift. My children love their pancakes as much as their novelty store, I'm not sure which one they love most. We sometimes get a game of giant checkers going on the awesome rocking chairs. My favorite thing to get is the blueberry pancakes and just combine it with whatever I'm feeling at the moment. They never miss, their chicken their steak or even the chicken pot pie. It's all delicious, and now they have mimosas so it might count as a date fellas lol if you haven't been you haven't lived. Thank me later.
Turns out I'm "purty smart" I swear I use to be able to get that peg puzzle down to a single peg every time, but I also think the puzzle we had on our table was missing a peg. Oh well. Had 4th of July breakfast with my old man here, pretty quite at first but picked up considerably once 9:00AM rolled by. Ended up going with an order of the Grandma's Sampler and a Decaf coffee, coming to around $20 before tax and tip. (Old man went with Pecan Pancakes, and a double order of eggs.) Pancakes were soft and easy to cut, the included bottle of syrup was just enough to cover both though there was only enough butter for one. Of course they were rich, filling, and gone pretty quickly. The eggs were suppose to be scrambled, but it came out more like an omelette. They were alright, needed a bit more salt and pepper. The sausage was super tasty and meaty, the bacon was savory and slightly chewy, but the country ham was far too salty. Had to water it down with some syrup to make it passable. Also picked the fresh fruit as my side dish, at an up charge, but the fruit was accurately described including strawberry, blueberries, and pineapple. And while the decaf coffee was nothing special, almost watered down in flavor, they did have free refills which I appreciated. Had a lovely meal with my old man, the noise level was pretty quiet so we had no trouble talking, and the waitress was good about checking up on us. Overall, a good time.
We had a fantastic time at this Cracker Barrel, we went for a late dinner and had fantastic service. Food was very good, came out fast, and was priced fantastic as well. We had the Chicken Froed chicken with lots of sides. The Steak Tips were our favourite - covered in garlic butter, would come back just for those! The country store part of it was great as well, we’ll definitely be back!
I absolutely love our local Cracker Barrel and visit every time my mother comes to town. The food is always good and the staff friendly. The seasonal food is some of the best. The fried apple French toast bake was just the right amount of sweet and warm. It really hit the spot on a cold morning. I also love the cheesecake stuffed pancakes, and highly recommend the loaded hash brown casserole. The casserole is a little on the salty side, but it’s super good. As someone who loves meat, potatoes, and cheese I can’t help but give that a 10/10. And of course it’s also very enjoyable walking through the well stocked general store as you enter and exit. There’s plenty of old fashioned candy and decorative bits, and they cycle stuff to fit the seasons too.
Had great service today with Kia. She was friendly and thought of everything to make our experience better. She goes above and beyond

I had a great server! The store has A LOT of really nice stuff! Staff was friendly and helpful. It took a little longer than I thought to get our food but I found out it was because the chicken is hand battered and fried fresh to order! It was pretty good but seemed like it was missing a little something like a season.
Our server, Matt, is one of the best servers we’ve ever had at CB. He promptly greeted us, brought our drinks quickly, and served us our meal quite fast. He checked back on us regularly, not too much, just right. Nice sense of humor, very attentive, and kind. He was a delight. Our Friday fish fry was tasty. Unfortunately it has significantly decreased in serving size. The price has risen to $16.99. The carrots are always yummy, as was the coleslaw. The coca cola cake is a favorite. We were just disappointed in the higher cost. We were tickled to find Hydrox cookies in the store. My husband prefers them over Oreo. Haven’t seen them in years. Also the life saver butter rum flavor is difficult to find. Plus found a great Highlight Easter sticker book for my 5- year old niece. Love the store.
Kia. who waited on us, was fantastic! She works her butt off to make sure that everyone has what they need while she bussed other tables. A+ effort.
New menu with many new items added. We ordered the chicken and dumplings with side of macaroni and cheese and hot apples. Ordered the chicken fried chicken with side of green beans and collare greens. The waitress was very nice, only took less the 15 minutes to get our meal. Food was hot. Plenty of chicken and dumplings. The chicken fried chicken was not smothered in gravy like the past. The gravy was on the side. They even have a drink menu now.
They are a bit understaffed at the moment and I believe their wait staff that was on duty that night was a bit under trained. They definitely need to be a bit more on the ball, with the in's and out's of Dinning room expiediance and timing and clues of the table signs. Like, when there is empty plates at the end of a table, it's a signal to pick it up, (bus the table) of through plates and ask the patrons if desert is on the order. Other then that, the food that we were served was OUTSTANDING! That Seasonal Campfire Steak tips dinner served in a tin foil wrap, was Super Delish! The Atmosphere was very comfortable. Very much like home. Overall I give it 4⭐🤓👍🏼
I really like Cracker Barrel. It’s my breakfast go to spot. The food is good. The service is always good. First time seeing a waitress of color there. That was a pleasant surprise, wouldn’t mind seeing more. Also an increase in pay for the waitresses/cook would be nice, they work very hard, and I don’t notice many people leaving a 20% tip or even a 15% tip.
Big server great food great prices but the scraping of the chairs while people are cleaning up after the tables is gonna drive me insane
I've been to many Cracker Barrel's in the past two years. This was the first time I have ever had issues with their fried chicken. The first round was absolutely disgusting... Dark brown, dried out and nazzy. The waiter was very gracious and asked if I wanted a replacement. Sure, not a problem. He even commented it didn't look very appealing. Second round wasn't much better. Either the grease they were frying it in was old & needed to be changed or they were reheating previously fried chicken. The pictures really don't show how dried out the batter was, but there was a puddle of grease under each piece. 🤢 Yuck!! The manager said it wasn't a problem to take it off my bill and approved it immediately. THANK YOU!! Really appreciate that effort instead of the typical "too bad, so sad" or multiple excuses that are the usual now.
The staff here are very friendly and welcoming! They're easy to talk to and personable, the environment is warm and inviting. This was my discovery of Cracker Barrel; I enjoyed the style incorporating rocking chairs and checker boards. It feels a little like a general store in the country. The food was not fantastic. It tasted true to its cost, filling and good enough. I had the country fried steak, mac and cheese, mashed potatoes, and dumplins. The gravy on the steak looks like something that came out of a dinner box tray. My favourite part of the table was the decor and the game board. Cracker Barrel is a step up from fast food, and worth a visit for the environment alone. The bathrooms are not gender neutral. They are just out of sight of the general store area, and shared with the restaurant side.
I was visiting from California, but had been here once before about 5 years ago and I enjoyed it the last time. When you walk in the restaurant you walk in to a gift shop with unique items. The actual dining room is quite large with tables very close to each other so it can be pretty loud if it is busy. Our server was great, friendly and accommodating. I ordered eggs in a basket which has 2 over easy eggs cooked in the center of sourdough toast, 2 sausage links and cheesy potatoes. My aunt got the blueberry pancakes which looked amazing. I would definitely go back.
The meal was very good. It is very close to a homemade meal cooked at home. The decor inside is pretty interesting. Many different types of items on the wall to look at from different time periods. The staff at this location are very polite. There is a little shopping area with many different things to choose from. This is the 1st time I have been to the Cracker Barrel in many years.
Great rest stop along the way. Delicious and hearty food. We ordered a mix of breakfast and lunch items. The Sunday Homestyle chicken was delicious with a side of mac ‘n cheese, mashed potatoes and coleslaw, crunchy and juicy. Meatloaf and the roast beef were also liked. The breakfast foods like French toast, eggs and all the breakfast food didn’t disappoint. Only things I didn’t really like was the latte which was extremely sweet and milky and the butter biscuits which were bland. Overall good price for proper portions and filling food.

The food is pretty good, if they have it. They were out of so many things. We heard a server go through a list of things they were out of and it was around 10 or so items. Maybe a delivery issue? An order mix up? I'm not sure, but there was no explanation or apology for the inconvenience. The place was sticky also, which I found pretty gross. Not just the dining area either, it was the whole place, including the store area. I could easily give it 5 stars if these things were fixed, but not being able to eat what I want and things seeming dirty really irks me.
I do not care for their new menu. It's more like bar food not meals. Not much of a choice... Each dish is about the same... Just disappointed
Usually the food is great. This time right from the biscuits were hard as a brick. My fish was cold and dry and I can't believe how. Slow, the service was. The manager did come over to bring us our drinks. And then the manager came over to check out how the fish was, but still it took way too long . And the fish was just. Not the quality that it usually is.
The waitress was nice enough, but not attentive. She was in the dining room often, checking on different tables, but rarely at ours. I asked for a refill of coffee and didn't get it for close to 10- 15 minutes when she noticed my empty cup at the edge of the table as my hint i was still waiting. We had to ask for rolls as none were offered or brought over. We would have been better not getting them as they were so under cooked it was like eating raw yeast. I ordered the ribs that started off delicious, but the bottom portion were tough and lots of fatty pieces. The broccoli was tough and dry. My husband says his chicken was good, but agreed about the broccoli and rolls. Another 10 minutes before our check was brought over. Very disappointing. We haven't been to a Cracker Barrel in years, and certainly went return going by this visit. There also seemed to be an argument in the kitchen as there was a lot of yelling and dishes breaking. Very unnerving as you are waiting on your food!
We got pick up. The food was left on the counter until it was cold and we were left waiting outside for 30 minutes. All because management refuses to hire enough staff to take care of pickup orders and the wait staff is busy with tables. They forgot the biscuits, the meatloaf was closer to stuffing from all the breading, the dumplings were doughy and undercooked and the fried chicken cutlet was dry. We go there at least a few times a year and never had a problem. The servers are lovely and the food has been good but we will never order pick up again. If they can't handle the service they shouldn't offer it.
Overpriced, small portions. They were out of sides and wanted to charge premium prices for what the had left to offer. Not great service. I expect more from CB.
Placed a take out order, very disappointed at the quantity of food. Very small portions for the price! Had to pay extra to have cheese added to the scrambled eggs! Definitely will not be ordering from here again!
I ordered my food online at around 11 AM in the morning. Around 3:30 PM I had not yet received it. I called and they said that it should’ve been delivered by now. Whoever delivered the food left it outside and someone brought it in. It was left downstairs in the hallway. No one ever called me to let me know that it had been delivered. They did not ring my doorbell or anything to let me know that it was there. So I was left with cold food. Did not taste good after being cold. So needless to say, I was very disappointed.
I need to say once again lunch was magnificent. I can’t complain. I only have one complaint. I had my mother with us and it was Friday afternoon. She’s disabled and walks with a cane and has lung cancer so can’t walk too far. We have a handicap sign. We looked in this huge parking lot and found 2 handicap parking spaces. Out of all this parking. This place gets a lot of elderly people and all they have are 2 handicap? I saw others parked with handicap signs in other spots too. Although they sure have 4 spots for pick up for healthy people who can walk right in. Hmmmm? SMH
Delicious food as always, love the country store. The meatloaf and chicken fried chicken dinner was delicious, loaded mashed potato came cold, looked completely unappetizing.. felt like the sides were sitting out for sometime. The service, while extremely friendly… needs improvement… waiting 10+ minutes to place our order and another 10 minutes for a takeout box is a bit ridiculous and doesn’t make for a great experience, especially when the restaurants somewhat empty.
Never got to eat there, said kitchen was backed up, couldn't give us an idea of when we would be seated.
I ordered oven roasted chicken with rice and mushroom sauce. The rice was awful, I told the waitress and she said, they had issues with the rice. Did not offer to discount
During our latest visit I witnessed the manager or who looked to be the manager speak with two different customers regarding their order one customer (who mind you was older) she blatantly told her she would remove whatever it was from their order she didn’t have the energy do anything it was Father’s Day and she had been there for 12hr she was tired, - second was a gentleman at check out he was picking up an order and she was very rude to him and stated the same thing as she did with the previous customer “she was tired,” her gestures where just not professional at all. Our waitress was not attentive, my daughter left half her dinner on the table after my husband asked for a box twice, she came back without one my other daughter wanted a desert and she was only interested only bringing us our check. I’m not one to typically leave a poor review, but Cracker Barrel do better!
Didn’t get any biscuits. As 2 people were serving our food we knocked over a glass and they continued to serve and left. Finally a different server came out to help clean it up. We had to find someone to bring us containers to take home leftovers. Waitress not to be seen until she brought us our check. Food and service was not near as good as we had remembered. Love the store and the service out there was very good!
This is my second visit in a month and both times there were missing items. This time I checked before I left and they gave me sides with no chicken from the family meal. Also missing cinnamon buns. Waited 35 minutes from my 6pm pickup. Got home and biscuits were hard and no syrup for the pancakes. I won’t be going back to this location.
We go to Cracker a few times a year. Because for us it a drive to go to one. So it is a big treat for our family. We where looking forward to this one. Only to find no county Fried chicken. Because no one can fix the machine. And it's been Breaken for some time. I mean couple mounths. When we finally did order witch take about 1/2 hour. For what ever reason. Others around us received there food in a reasonable time but not us. We did receive drinks in a reasonable time. No butter rolls no corn rolls. After about a nother 45 min finally received Dinner. The Portions where so small but Fit for a squirrel. We where so disappointed in everything all around. The floors and Window sills dirty. Plus amount of money we Spent in food a tip. Makes me sad how far they have declined. Looking around us during dinner. I did notice most every one eating burgers And fries. Didn't know it became a burger Place. Not an old family dinner. Once more so disappointing. Hope that they get back to old fashioned Values.

This is the second time I have experienced a cold breakfast. Even butter on pancakes wouldn't melt. How can a normal breakfast be so bad Perhaps heating plates??

Do not trust any order you place for delivery. Order 3 pies , Apple, Pecan and Pumpkin, to be delivered at 10am today and I 9:51am I get a call that all they had was Pumpkin and did I want 3 Pumpk…
So dissapointed...you use to be able to count on Cracker Barrel for good food. Our first clue was how fast the food came out...I've waited longer at McDonald's for a meal! It was all a sloppy mes…
I love going to Cracker Barrel, but that isn't always an option for me so I order from this location online through DoorDash. My mistake for doing so. Avoid ordering from this location online like the plague. They never complete your order; you're lucky if they remember your drinks. I've ordered multiple times from them online and if you get an item, such as pancakes or French toast, you'll never get your condiments (butter, syrup, etc.). Such a shame as their maple syrup is delicious and was my favorite thing to get, even a la carte. I even attempted with my most recent order to "add-on" maple syrup as a precaution in the case they forget the one that comes with my French toast and homestyle chicken meal. Insult to injury when they don't give you either. I don't know if I don't know nothing, but last I knew there isn't a global shortage of maple syrup so I am finding it hard to understand a valid reason for this pattern to continue. It would be easier to identify the issue on management's behalf if their baggers were also following protocol and using the already-printed quality control receipts, where employees double check their work and sign off on it. But that has always arrived empty, ensuring that whoever wrapped up my order just doesn't care. In general, quality control over at the Barrel is lackluster at best, which is such a shame for somebody like myself who doesn't go out and dine-in there. It's a whole different experience in-house. At least in-house you can get your items if the wait staff forgot it or you ordered extra.
Food is just okay. It won’t knock your socks off by any means. Best part is the store every time .
They have the nastiest lady named Chelsea answering phones, she was so rude & kept cutting me off transferring me all over. I had to keep hanging up & calling back 6x!! At one point she picked up the phone & blatantly hung up without any greetings.. I asked to speak to a manager then she became very nasty & so rude to the point I actually just cancelled my food. I simply wanted clarification on my meals since I always order from them & they always mess up my orders literally. As a pregnant repeated customer I nor my family/friends will never order from them again!! Disgusted with the customer service smh
All of our food was cold when delivered we had wanted specific things and came there for a specific meal and we’re disappointed because the fryer was broken they said over the last couple of weeks and I couldn’t cook the fried chicken with bone in. We never received our biscuits till we asked for them and we were there so long before our food even came and usually it’s never been like that. It’s just an all-around bad experience.
The waitress was nice nothing against her. The greeter sat all the black people in one section in the front by the door. All the white ppl sat near the windows. It was so weird my mom always had bad experiences with feeling they were racist going in other states. I begged her to go cause I love their steak bites. I couldn't believe my eyes as she brought it to my attention how they sat us and each time someone came in she watched and pointed out where they were sat by color. Couldn't believe my eyes that at this day and age it was still happening. Will never ever again support this establishment and any others no matter the state, town or location. The biscuits were ok but the cornbread was disgusting it had zero bit of sweetness all cornbread is sweet it tasted like it had salt in it beyond gross.
This was the worst cracker barrel ive ever been to. The waitress never got me my biscuits. Messed up my order. I got the steak with mashed potatoes and a baked potato not loaded. Idk how you mess that up, I got loaded mash and baked potatoes. My steak was supposed to be medium, it was rare. And my poor sons fried chicken was stale and you can tell it had been sitting for a long time. The worst $55 I spent at a cracker barrel.
Similar, on par with every CB restaurant. Predictable great quality and service. CB has always been a value place, but now more so than ever. The rest of the world has risen their prices to gouging levels. CB prices had modest increase. My one star review is for effect. I would like CB to up their game in regards to breakfast drinks. The only thing that is offered is orange or apple juice. Could they offer cranberry juice, tomato juice? I do not own a restaurant business, so I am sure this decision was made with cost in mind, and I appreciate that. But you never know unless you ask.
I ordered curbside, went inside because it was full in the parking lot. Asked the hostess if she can ask someone about my order. Waited over 30 minutes for my food when an Uber eats driver came and they pointed him to a rack with food. Low and behold my food ad been there for about as long as I asked about it. Then when I went to grab it the lady screamed at me saying that it wasn't mine totally embarrassing me in front of a room full of patrons. Also I paid about 20 dollars more for 2 sides and a slice of pumpkin pie that was not in my bag. I didn't think to look in the bag before I left the restaurant. But that's fine it cost me 20 dollars to know not to ever go there again. Bad customer service all around!!! They need a manager to handle the chaos in that place!!!
Went there for the first time today and it was terrible… Table for two the server greeted us fairly soon. Cups were dirty. Then we waited over 35 minutes to receive a “strawberry mimosa”, all we ordered was a mimosa. It finally got to us with an inch of dyed powdered sugar sitting in the bottomless. The pictures uploaded is after the sugar settled ( i stirred it myself for about 3 minutes) wow Absolutely disgusting and horrible service.
Staff was incredibly snarky and passive aggressive. The young man that seated us had to walk past me to get the menus and silverware. Instead of saying "excuse me" he said "excuse you" implying I was at fault for standing there. The waitress seemed tired. The lady checking us out was snarky. I didn't hear her clearly and thought she was undercharging me and she was rude when I realized I was wrong. After I checked out she kept trying to sell me the lindor truffles at the checkout. We ordered the meal to go and I did not realize it was a prepackaged refrigerated meal that was such a small serving. Too bad this ruined my experience because the shepherds pie pot roast meal that I had was delicious.
The experience was horrible today. 3 people for breakfast. Got seated quickly. No waitress for 10 minutes. When we finally got service, we ordered our food. When we did get out food all of it was not hot. My niece ordered biscuits and gravy. Got the food, got the gravy 15 minutes later. My wife ordered a steak and eggs thing that was supposed to have vegetables with it. They brought the food out with out the vegetables, then the waitress did bring out onions that didn't come with the meal, then 10 minutes later they brought out the tomatoes and veggies that were supposed to go with it. As for my meal, I got 3 eggs over medium, bacon and white toast. All of it was cold. Absolutely horrible food and service.
Went for breakfast. Everything was great except for the coffee. It was the absolute worst coffee I have ever tasted in my life. Thought maybe he was sitting around so she brought us a fresh cup and it was even worse. Now they've gone woke and going to change their whole appearance. I will not return just because of that. Hopefully they will learn their lesson and learn to change is not always good. Let it hurt them in their pocketbook where it matters most.
I have been to Cracker Barrels all over the East Coast. The atmosphere is always the same, but service today and food were not good. Our order did not come out right. We did not have napkins, butter, or syrup with our pancakes, and I had to go to another table for ketchup. I had to ask another server to get more coffee. It was not busy at all at 2:21pm, and our server was standing against the wall and we tried to wave her over for more coffee, and she did not pay any attention. We had to ask the other server again to get coffee. It is the worst service we have had. The waitress also used the back of our check to write other tables' orders on....
Seems to be a trend from the last review. We visited as a family and upon entering were not even greeted by the hostess. To think of it, we were silently counted and after the menus were retrieved, brought to our tables and seated without a peep. The waitress was friendly and service seemed to possibly be picking up. The appetizer came quickly and was fairly decent. However, upon being served the main courses, we had to ask for silverware. Of the three entrees, the steak, which was ordered medium, came raw and had to be sent back for extra time, along with the sides not being hot. The kids chicken tenders were also tough. Once finishing it seemed perhaps the workers in the dining area just didn’t want to be there. Upon leaving and paying the bill, the cashier was unaware how to process a gift card without a pin and such almost took a good ten minutes to process. With other similar restaurants in the area, such may be a better choice until some changes are made here.
