We recently hosted an event here, and I couldn't be happier with the experience. From the moment we booked the space, the staff was incredibly accommodating and attentive to our needs. The ambiance of the restaurant was perfect for our gathering, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere for our event.. The servers were friendly, efficient, and always made sure that everyone had everything they needed. It was evident that the entire team here takes pride in providing top-notch hospitality to their guests.Overall, our event was a huge success, thanks in large part to the wonderful staff and fantastic food. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking to host an event or simply enjoy a memorable dining experience.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Circe in East Greenwich, RI, and I am beyond impressed. From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere was welcoming and beautiful – a perfect setting for a Friday night out. While our table wasn't quite ready we were comfortably seated at the bar where we were greeted by the most delightful bartender. She went above and beyond, exuding such a friendly, positive energy. It’s always a treat when the staff makes you feel right at home, and she certainly did that. Not to mention, her lychee martinis were absolutely delicious – perfectly crafted and packed with flavor! Once we were seated, our waiter continued the high level of service, ensuring everything was perfect throughout the meal. Both the bartender and waiter truly elevated our experience, and for that alone, I would recommend Circe 10 out of 10. As for the food, I can honestly say it was nothing short of incredible. Three of us opted for the braised beef short rib, and it was the star of the evening. The beef was fall-apart tender, infused with deep, rich flavors from the braising process, and the portion size was generous. Paired with a mushroom risotto, which was creamy and savory with just the right amount of earthiness, and perfectly roasted asparagus, it made for an unforgettable dish. Every bite was a perfect harmony of flavors and textures. One of our guests chose the filet mignon, which was equally impressive. It was tender, juicy, and perfectly cooked to order, with a depth of flavor that lingered long after the meal. The mushroom ravioli ordered by another guest was equally as fantastic – each delicate ravioli was filled with a savory mushroom mixture that paired beautifully with a rich, creamy sauce. To sum it all up, the food was exceptional, the drinks were top-notch, and the service was impeccable. I can’t wait to return and experience more of what Circe has to offer. Highly recommend!

Excellent date night dinner. Our server Alex was attentive, but not intrusive. The meals were as presented, and delivered as ordered (read: not overcooked), and were delicious. Nice atmosphere in the upper dining room. Not too quiet, and not too loud. A “just right” experience across the board. Will be back.

Went to Circe for a bridal shower and truly had the most amazing experience. I got there early to help the bridesmaids decorate and the management and staff was so phenomenally helpful. They helped us execute our vision perfectly and were so incredibly attentive and helpful. The shower was absolutely beautiful and went so smoothly. Everyone loved the food, it was delicious, and Michael was the best server!!! I have helped decorate numerous showers and parties and the staff at Circe was by far the most kind and helpful. I was blown away by how wonderful they were. I would absolutely recommend it as a venue for anyone planning an event, and will definitely be back for dinner!! Thank you so much to amazing staff!!!

Will always be one of the top restaurants in not only East greenwich, but in the state. Simply great food, great cocktails, and outstanding service. I've been there many many times and will always go back.

It's restaurant week here in Rhode Island, so Circe's prices had come down to within reason for my budget and I decided to give it a try. Still, I had my expectations set a little low since I'd be ordering off a special prix fixe menu, figuring the offerings would be somewhat basic. What a pleasant surprise though. From start to finish, it was really a five star experience. The menu options offered were quite diverse. The food itself was exceptionally delicious (I had a handmade pasta stuffed with crab and lobster, served with fresh scallops and some micro greens). Even my wedge salad appetizer was dressed with loads of blue cheese and generous amounts of bacon. My only two minor criticisms were that the tiramisu desert was nothing to write home about, though still tasty if perhaps a little average. And the whole dining room was quite full and noisier than your typical country club restaurant. But considering the high quality food and the fact of it being restaurant week, it wasn't a huge surprise that folks were feeling lively and chatty. In the end, I felt like I'd made the right choice to check it out, and left more than satisfied The lower than usual final bill probably had something to do with that. Yet, for some future special occasion I can imagine myself going back even at full price. It'd be worth it just for the that five star experience all over again.

Sometimes I give 5 stars because either the food or the service is 5 star worthy only. However in this case ALL aspects of our dinner earned 5 stars! The food was cooked to perfection, presentation was very appealing and everything was well seasoned and flavorful. Mike our server was extremely friendly and knowledgeable. He was right there for everything and just added to the overall experience. I had the braised short rib dinner, which was fork tender and laid over a rich, creamy bed of risotto. I know I should've taken a picture for this review, but it drew me in so much so that I dug right in before thinking about pictures. My wife had the Eggplant Parm which was thinly sliced and breaded, and fried to perfection. The pasta was hand made...you could tell. I urge you to make a point to visit and see for yourself. You will be glad you did!

First time coming to Circe, and definitely won’t be the last. Walking in and we were greeted by everyone which was very pleasant. Our server Carlene was super nice and friendly, the food was delicious, and the dessert/drinks were a 10/10. We will be coming back in the future.

I hadn’t been to Circe in awhile, and after shopping, stopped in for a meal.this past Saturday night. The food was delicious, but the best part of the night was the service. Our server, Michelle, was over and above fantastic. We will be back!

I choose the Providence Restaurant Week. I had the calamari, Halibut and lemon and blueberry mascarpone cake. It was all delicious. Nicole was our waitress and was very friendly. We will definitely be back!

Burrata, risotto, wagyu tacos - everything was pretty good! Service was good too. The restaurant is spacious enough so I felt safe eating here. Didn’t have to wait to be seated and good service as well.

We had a double birthday planned. Had a wonderful table near the fireplace. Our server was average. Forget to get drinks and other items. Steak came out well done when ordered med rare. Replaced 20 mins later when everyone was done eating. Really. No accommodation made for this. .

Food and drinks are fantastic. Lost a star due to GF options on menu were not truly GF, even after notifying server.

Good food. The restaurant is a tale of two spaces. The upstairs dining room and bar area are nice and comfortable. The downstairs back room is chilly with a completely different feel.

Nice atmosphere , server was nice when we saw them. Our salads were great but they forgot one of our appetizers. Our dinners were tasty but lukewarm. Our drinks came after we almost finished our meal. Then we Received our check but waited awhile before they took our check to be processed. Sorry the lack of service and lukewarm food were pricey at best.

We went this Sunday for my son's birthday party and all I can say is too expensive took too long and we ordered the oysters had no meat in them I basically paid for the shells. My son ordered the steak and nothing came with it had to order everything separately and the sides were 8 dollars a piece. Sorry won't be back.

What happened to you guys? We have come for dinner or the bar/apps very few months for a couple years and enjoyed it but tonight was below average at best. Extremely slow kitchen (it was nearly empty it being only 4:30), tuna tartar that was once filled with fresh tuna served today with mostly cucumber, sry Statler chicken, and a FILTHY bathroom — grime not just a misse lid day or two. Super sad and we won’t be back

We arrived as a party of 6 at 4pm on Sunday, 3/2/2025. We did NOT have a reservation. They had just opened, we were the first ones there, not a single other person in the whole restaurant and they told us they simply could not accommodate us as they had too many reservations already. Yet I went on to Open Table in their lobby and there were dozens of available reservations, so I made one, for 6 people at 4pm. I literally could have picked any time I wanted for the whole night on their reservation app and they still wouldn't accommodate us. This place is the worst, stay away!

Over priced and not good. a 5oz filet with sides that'd cost $15 individually was priced $35 on their menu, an 8oz was $48 with no sides. To boot, it was disgustingly over salted. On top, we waited almost two hours for our food. I waited over 30 minutes for a waiter to take drink orders. Furthermore, much of the arugula was brown in our salad. Over priced for a meal I could have gotten at a cheap chain.

We were very disappointed with Circe. We ordered the 8oz filet mignon which was not warm and lacked flavor. The sides are all a la carte and at $8 a side I would have expected more than a plate of unseasoned and uncooked Brussels sprouts. Even the potatoes, which usually accompany steak in fine restaurants were a la carte and nothing special. The service was slow and we had the feeling that the server was more interested in getting us out of there than asking if we wanted coffee or dessert after our meal. As he was ready to give us our check, we reluctantly asked if we could order dessert. I will never be back, or recommend this restaurant to anyone.
