We came in on a Sunday about 8:40, well before the listed 9:30 closing time, and were warned as we came in that they actually close at 9:20. It seemed odd that it would be an issue with plenty of time to order; but apparently unlike most restaurants the closing time is a matter of when they expect you to actually leave. Still, with seemingly enough time, we ordered, and the appetizer - soft shell crab - came quickly. Unfortunately, though it was not one of the dishes listed as “spicy”, it came with spicy mayo on top. I told the server that I can’t eat spicy food, would not have ordered it if I had known, and asked her to take it back. She gave me an argument, saying I should have told her I can’t eat spicy food. I pointed out that since they list some dishes specifically as spicy, one would assume - as in most other restaurants - that the rest are not. She reluctantly took it back, and informed us the Angel Roll we had ordered, also not labeled spicy, came with spicy mayo on top as well, so we also asked for that to be redone. This pushed things closer to closing time, and rushed our meal a bit. But I have to say that the food was wonderful: The crab crisp outside, moist inside; the sushi fresh, and the pineapple shrimp fried rice delicious. So despite the unfortunate attitude we encountered, this restaurant is well worth the trip for the excellent food. Just keep in mind that the closing time is not what’s listed on the website. And that it’s best, whatever the menu says, to ask details before ordering.

This is a nice, intimate local sushi restaurant. I ordered the calamari, crispy rock shrimp, and two sushi rolls. I enjoyed the food.

Usually for lunch I don't do anything that fancy. This time my friend and I decided to go for a more exotic experience. Yuzu is what we landed on. This place delivered us a great meal for a reasonable price. For $9.50 you can get what they call a bento box. Which comes with a miso soup, a salad, shumai and white rice to go with your main dish. I went with the chicken katsu lunch box myself and my friend order a chicken teriyaki dish. It was very good, portioned well, was a pleasant display and wasn't greasy at all. The whole experience was fast it took us about 30 mins to sit down, eat, pay and leave. Very good service and polite staff. I would certainly come back here for lunch again.

Recently I ordered food and was told that you have to spend $16 to use a card in the restaurant. I know everyone is charging 3% fees for card usage, which is outrageous to begin with, but to make you get cash for a purchase is ridiculous. I can buy $150 and use a card anywhere. I have been going here for years, but will now go elsewhere to get my sushi just because it’s an inconvenience to have to carry cash. It’s a shame because the food is delicious.

Walked on on a Tuesday afternoon at 2:25 craving some sushi.saw one person sitting and eating, who apparently is a worker,the woman said take out order? I said no,I'd like to sit down and eat as I have no place to eat it. She responded"No we close at 3" I asked I can't just have a couple of rolls?"No take out only" I saw the reviews about customer service and thought let's give a small business some love,and maybe find a local gem,sadly their lack of customer service cost them business. I drove over to Anzai, a few blocks away and although they also said they close at 3,allowed me to sit and order,finishing my meal well before 3 pm.

Ordered 4 items to go. Was missing shumai. Tried calling numerous times and line was busy for 30 + minutes until I finally gave up. I wanted it to be delivered or credit the $6.25 to my credit card. It’s not fair to have to pack my kids up and go back again to the store.

Asked for a specific chop sticks on the phone because I don’t own any. Lady stopped me while I was grabbing extra chop sticks from the bin And assured me there was the correct amount of chop stick. ( I knew there wasn’t. They’re always wrong). Of course right when I get home and check there is not nearly enough chop sticks. Who stops a customer from taking an extra pair of chop sticks in a Japanese takeout restaurant.
