The burger are excellent. Very different Compared to McDonald's, Burger King, Wendy. The only thing I have an issue with is leaving the restaurant. Since it's located on Hempstead Avenue sometimes you have to fight your way out.

location is not too busy at night and so they serve the food HOT, and quick also, which is great for a graveyard shifter who loves monsterella stix for lunch. staff hospitable, only checkers that correctly gives you the 2 marinara for a larger 6 piece.

Service was fast, efficient and lovely, and the food equally as good👏🏽 highly recommend the sweet and Smokey wings and fries!

Checkers in East Meadow is a fantastic spot for a quick and delicious meal! The Baconzilla is an absolute must-try—juicy, cheesy, and packed with flavor. Their fries? Phenomenal—crispy, perfectly seasoned, and totally addictive. On top of the great food, the manager and staff are incredibly helpful and friendly, making the experience even better. Definitely a go-to spot for a satisfying bite. Can’t wait to come back!

Checkers consistently has the best French fries and a great staff. I miss their old location but they moved right down the block. My.go to is definitely an American burger with tomato with french fries and a shake. If you can when you order the fries, order the largest you can. You'll regret it if you don't!

They take the order quickly and respond fast. Food is always hot and fresh. Whatever sauces you ask for they give it to you. Great eye contact. We always got between the hours of 6pm to 10pm. They are next to Burger King. The menu is great as you can always find a good deal without any coupons or stupid apps that never work when you are at the restaurant trying to order food. As burger king and McDonald's apps stop working once you look for offers on the app. So the checkers is great food, fast service and will continue to eat there...

Checkers is my favorite fast food place ever since I tried it on a trip to Florida. For the longest time I didn't even know there was any Checkers in NY, but there is! Out of the ones I've been to, this is the best one! Staff is efficient and friendly, and the food is always freshly made.

since the checkers on 110 in amityville closed i’ve been going to the East meadows location , i’m driving 2 towns away to visit this location great food and shakes BUT last night went and it wasn’t busy and i didn’t order a big or crazy order just 7 items and 3 where things in a combo. the service was fast the food was hot BUT there was a missing item would have went back but it is on a very busy main road and it’s a pain to get in later in the day . tried to call but didn’t get to speak to anyone but no one answered i left a message . its 24 hours later still no call back and still no answer .

The age old debate of where the best fries are was heated, until Checkers came along and took that title like Chris Weidman upsetting Anderson Silva! Add that to a nice variety of burger and chicken entrees and you got a great place to grab a tasty bite. Featuring a weaker $4 deal (unless you like Apple pie) but coming in strong with $3 chicken bites and fries!

This place used to be KFC but Checkers moved in itfrom down the block. I don't understand why though because this only has one drive-thru whereas the old location across from the hospital had the usual two drive-thrus on either side like every other Checkers you've seen before. Getting to it is a pain if you're heading south on the Hempstead Tpke, but that's not their fault. Either way this place has always been good, there's no real wait, and the food has always been hot and fresh. It's far from healthy but you're not going to Checkers if you're watching your weight.

Menu is overly confusing in an apparent effort to get you to buy 2 when one would suffice. 2/$7 but one for $4.50 is discouraging to me. I know I shouldn't eat 2. Watch out, unless you say no mayo their sandwiches are served heavy with mayo. Apparently no free refills on the sodas.

My true guilty pleasure with coupons. Bring coupons, its the belly buster with value! the ice cream is really good. Check these burgers out snd dig into those signature fries.

The food tasted really good and the staff served everything with a smile, far better service than the disgusting Checkers on Old Country Road. This Checkers also has the cleanest dining room I've ever seen in a fast food restaurant. But I have to take one star off because the same can't be said about the bathroom, which was a bit smelly. I'd love to come back to this Checkers as long as I stay clear of the bathroom.

Okay. Burgers are fine, decent prices, fries are good. Shakes used to be better

Easy to see right off of Hempstead Turnpike servicing East Meadow and the adjoining areas of Nassau County. Drive through and walk up service available. Outdoor seating. 2 lanes for quick service. Menu is a little confusing with so many different specials going before you get to the main menu. Then when you get to the main menu, the specials don't appear there. Reasonably priced. Credit cards accepted. Clean facilities. We will definitely be going back. Thank you to the owner for responding. We look forward to patronizing your establishment again soon. Eric San José

Got s 5piece chicken tenders [$8.50 after tax], 3 of which were off color & over cooked (tossed in garbage) 2 were fresh made and tasty . Not going back to this facility for them again . Maybe I'll have better luck with a burger 🍔??

The large fries should’ve came in a box Instead of cup... like they do at other checkers...it’s all about getting the food to the customer as quickly as possible and not really going a little extra effort I guess only on UNDERCOVER BOSS YOU ARE TREATED WELL

Food was pretty good and the service was great. Just a weird experience because a creepy dude was walking around the entire time we were on the drive thru line.

Good food fast. However service is spotty depending on who is taking your order. They have left things out of my bag (that they charged me for) on a few occasions.

3 of the 5 chicken tenders wound up in trash 🗑. They were Gray, overcooked, and far from fresh made. The remaining 2 pcs were fresh , tender . Not going to get that again , for over $8.oo after tax . Banana shake could use a bit more flavoring also . Staff at drive up window , however , was Excellent . Friendly , greeted me with a "good afternoon ." You don't get that very often .

Hi, l had love the sandwich from checker up till yesterday. Last evening l bought home two dinners of spicy chicken with Fry's, the food was horrible, very unlike of checkersto do that, the sandwich and Fry's was cold and stale very unlike checkers food, l used to prays checkers food all the time, l uses to give them thumbs up, but l had a bad experience yesterday.

Food was not bad service was fast. Place was freezing and this might be the only fast food chain that does not give refills on soft drinks..... and the small 12oz cup is 2.25 with tax! Bring in 3-4 kids and that really adds up. Last time I ever eat there!

I don't like the thread they use in their hamburgers they should use potato bread instead of the buns that use which is a cheap red lobster burgers are too spicy I always remembered checkers having that barbecue flavor and the place I went to that's on Hempstead turnpike I believe in split out the burgers I don't know if that's a local thing that they're doing but it's a big turn-off to me

Horrible food. I had ordered fried wings and they were so salty that it was impossible to eat it. Why oh why do you throw in so much salt in food here? Quality of food is 1 /10.

Like every checkers I've gone to, I asked for one simple thing NO PICKLE I still get pickles. I made it clear and they repeated back to me and said game me pickles!! I am allergic to it but I assume since it was 30 mins to close they didn't care. This is why I will always continue to go to everyone else but checkers!!!

I ordered the fries. They gave me cold and soggy fries. I came back to the drive thru and told the cashier that these fries are very cold and she started smiling and after 5 mins she disappear and a lady from kitchen came and gave me fries and then these fries were the same fries she put in the oil. I cant tell how bad they looked and tasted. And the bag was half empty.Totally waste of money. Never going back there.
